Your question has been processed, you can view the VIPGAME wallet
That doesn't answer my question at all. So I take it you have no answer, and you can indeed manipulate which hash you use for a bet.

I'm closing this topic for a while. I couldn't even send a few satoshis from Bluewallet to my Eclair wallet, so I closed the channel for now.
I may reopen this in a couple of months.

Twenty-fifth week paid.
Thanks again for your prompt payment!

Description : To discuss how often we check crypto prices and health implications
Category : Alternate cryptocurrencies

That thread is turning into a Spam Megathread. You should probably lock it (bottom-left corner). There's a reason barely anyone who posted there earned any Merit:
The list
The following users have posted x times in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5173470.0
This does not mean they're all bad users.
Merit is based on last Friday's data dump. I only show Merit if there has been at least 1 transaction. If it shows 0 Merit, that means the user has sent Merit, but didn't receive anything.
Trust is only shown if it's non-neutral.

So basically this will mean that the Chipmixer ANN is going to be pinned on the top of the board for... for ever?
Lol, until I read your post, I didn't even realize that thread is on a board that's influenced by these changes. And indeed, it's on top of Service Announcement.
I posted there before realizing it uses my new bumping power.
17726  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does it really matter if we have weasels, scoundrels, or outright scammers in DT on: September 11, 2019, 01:04:32 PM
But how much does it actually matter for the forum as a whole? For example, if a dishonest person gets into DT:

1) What are the potential attack vectors they could use to take advantage of their position?
2) How much benefit (monetary or otherwise) could they extract from it?
3) How much damage (monetary or otherwise) could they cause to others?
4) What are the chances of them getting caught?
5) What do they stand to lose if they get caught?
6) How vigilant are the other members of DT going to be towards unacceptable behavior?
7) Would it all magically balance itself out? (the "fear of retaliation" idea)
I don't think being on DT matters much for any of those. Someone could (1) inflate their own Trust score by being a Trust selfscratcher, but I don't expect this to be easily abused by creating, including and exchanging feedback with alt-accounts without getting caught.

Quote
there is always going to be someone running a super-long con, etc etc
I'd say a user's reputation is much more important than his DT-status for a super-long con. I could easily get away with $200, and probably much more than that. But I don't think that has much to do with me being on DT, it has much more to do with my dedication to this forum, and dedication isn't something to easily fake for a long-con. I also like to think many users here would know by now I don't take loans, and would be very suspicious if I suddenly ask for it.
The scams I've seen pulled by trusted members often start small, to get some "loan history", until they took off with the big hit. It's probably good to always be suspicous when someone suddenly starts taking bigger and bigger loans.
As for your (5): they stand to lose their reputation and gain a load of red Trust and a Flag, but as with anything in crypto they're likely able to keep any stolen funds.

I haven't traded much, but when I do, I prefer to trust people with much less than I think their account is worth to them. DT or not doesn't matter much.

Quote
But in the current expanded DT  - do we need to fight tooth-and-nail to exclude anyone we think is unsuitable
I call them out sometimes by just posting the evidence and leaving it up to the community. I don't like to take rush-decisions for those things, so I don't instantly exclude them by myself.

My other rule: I don't trade with someone trying to stay anonymous.
In crypto, I haven't traded with anyone (except for people I know IRL) who isn't completely anonymous to me.
17727  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping changes on some boards on: September 11, 2019, 12:36:32 PM
Therefore, on these three boards, bumping has changed:
 - Service Announcements
 - Announcements (Altcoins)
 - Tokens (Altcoins)
Is there a reason Bounties (Altcoins) isn't included in this list? Those topics get their exposure from spamming "Proof of"-posts, and if those posts don't bump the thread anymore, bounties that don't allow spam stand a chance too.

if I understand it correctly I should be careful where I post if I disclose a spam or scam so I don't unintentionally bump their topic.
That was my first thought too. One could argue that was always the case, except that my post now has a much higher bumping power. It would be nice to be able to turn that off for certain posts. Or I may need to use my LoyceMobile or even LoyceBot for certain posts.

Quote
Sometimes I post just to follow whats happening on the thread.
So you're saying you don't use the Watchlist yet? See theymos' explanation.

A day ago......

The fact that this hasn't been implemented might mean it's not that simple to implement on SMF.

Theymos:
Hold my beer!
Lol Cheesy
Just like Merit, Trust and Flags, theymos managed to come up with something that I have to read several times to fully understand it's potential! I'm curious to see how it works out long-term.
17728  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: September 11, 2019, 10:50:39 AM
So now the only thing you need to do, is prove the "communication key" was generated by the program.
This goes far above my technical knowledge, but I'm very interested to see how this would actually work. Would this still work if the owner of the website can create an exact clone of the RAM and read everything (including encryption keys) in there?

I didn't notice my post was in Investor-based games, so I'm quoting myself here because I'd really like to see an answer:
Yesterday, I tested your site and went all-in (with my free 0.0005BTC). It produced an error. I clicked again, and I lost the bet. That error made me question fairness, it doesn't look like something a user can avoid, which means it can be manipulated.

Question about fairness
VIPGAME uses the EOS transaction hash to generate its results, ensuring absolute fairness to all players.
EOS produces several blocks per second. I'm not familiar with using a blockchain as random input (it's the first time I see this implementation), so I have to ask: how can you ensure the bet uses the next block, and how can you guarantee I wouldn't just get an error if the result is in my favour? Or how can you guarantee you won't select one out of the next two results (in less than a second) after I click? The difference could be caused by lag, but it could also be manipulated. How can a player know for sure it's fair?
The result of VIPGAME is determined by HASH and cannot be manipulated.
That's not my question. I'm saying you can easily manipulate which hash is used, and you're just repeating the same as the website says.

Can you get the administrator to respond here? You're promoting the site on Bitcointalk, I don't care about "the telegraph".

You're right. They had mutual inclusions before though, up to the falling out in week 18:

http://loyce.club/trust/2019-05-18_Sat_06.23h/15728.html
The plot thickens: in week 8 (counting by my Trust list viewer's weeks), TECSHARE stopped excluding Hhampuz and in the same week started including him. At the same week, Hhampuz stopped excluding TECSHARE and a week later Hhampuz included TECSHARE.

Disclaimer: I'm just spitting out data, I have no idea what conspiracy to tie to this data.

Quote
I haven't included anyone else for as long as I keep data
You included me in week 2 so I'm sure there is some conspiracy somewhere.
My bad, you're right. I removed the underscores from links in week 2, and didn't realize my list didn't have 18 names yet in week 1.
17731  Economy / Reputation / Re: TECSHARE is a scammer on: September 10, 2019, 06:35:45 PM
Sorry, you're not in DT1 so you don't qualify for backscratching.
Hhampuz was on DT1 when he included TECSHARE.

TECSHARE included me 3 weeks ago. I haven't included anyone else for as long as I keep data, so I'd like to think it's because he values my feedback (and that's how it should be).

What will happen if someone delete their previous bumps before 24 hours (only few sections were restricted from deleting the posts before 24 hours) and then bumping their thread again? Is there any way to detect these kind of bumps.
This can help: Active users and top posters in the past 1h, 24h and 7d
17733  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos.Fake conversations becoming a serious issue. on: September 10, 2019, 04:06:15 PM
Newbies/Jr. Members' posts should not bump a thread back to the top.
The fact that this hasn't been implemented might mean it's not that simple to implement on SMF.

@LoyceV When you have the time can you trow a list of the users, but remove those with a single post.
Sure, I'll post the last entry to show the total number of users per thread. Here's all 4, in the same order you posted them in:

When I try to use the "Ignore user options" function in my personal account settings I keep getting the 524 error after the page can't load for a very long time.
Do you have a very long ignore list? It's known to cause time-outs, and you'll probably need theymos to fix it.
17736  Economy / Reputation / Re: TECSHARE is a scammer on: September 09, 2019, 05:50:52 PM
There should really be an open discussion as to whether or not this type of behavior is an acceptable practice for a DT1 member,
Agreed!

Quote
Allowing this kind of thing to happen without calling it out sets a dangerous precedent going forward.
I'd like to add to the open discussion the question whether or not there should be a technical limit to the number of DT1-votes any DT1-member gets. For example: Is it really desirable that a DT1-member without any support from other DT1-members gets to include or exclude many other DT1-members? Or should there be a limit on the "voting power" within DT1 (possibly depending on the number of DT1-inclusions the user has)?

I agree with nutildah and DireWolfM14 and I want to add that negative is not appropriate. He is not scammer, he is trusted trader but his moral is questionable.
Agreed. I think this quote from theymos applies here too:
All three of TMAN, Vod, and OgNasty are forum veterans with good trade histories, and I would tend to trust all three of them (to varying degrees).
(the rest of theymos' post is worth reading too)

I've added your excellent explanation to the OP of my Trust list viewer topic:
Make your own Trust list
~
I encourage anyone to create their own Trust list. Don't confuse your Trust list with Feedback though:
  • Feedback: people you trust (or don't trust: red)
  • Trust list: people who's judgement on others you trust (or don't trust: ~)
A must-read: DireWolfM14 explains the differences very well in My musings about the trust network.

@LoyceV. You know, that was the first time for me to host a raffle, so I got in contact with krogothmanhattan to ask for tips so I used his way of picking up the winner. You pick the last digit(s) from the hash, can be a single digit or in case there are more you pick the last one.
I think krogothmanhattan usually uses all characters: 0-9 and a-f. That gives 16 possibilities for 1 digit.
For what you're doing, the problem is that there's not always 2 numbers in the last 5 characters. A simple fix would be to omit the 5 character limit, and use as many characters as you need to get 2 numbers.
So if I take block 575970 for example: hash 00000000000000000010f46e3c11d28bd45958bb485fdaffad4de9dcadefff1c would mean "fff1c" and thus a "1" as winner in your system. I suggest to use the whole hash, and have "91" (00000000000000000010f46e3c11d28bd45958bb485fdaffad4de9dcadefff1c) as winner.

Conclusion,
The account was hacked a few mounts ago and it looks like there is no way the owner to prove his ownership as the only ETH posted address was edited according to DarkStar_. I'll sent a PM anyway.
Admin can see all edited versions of a post, and I would expect Cryptios to have the same access.
