This project had some decent ideas a tech.
Will have to look into it.

If there's someone working on this coin let me know.
If there is a team for this coin please PM me.
EDIT:
Especially if anyone working on this project is
a .NET Coder.

MikeMike

I left this coin.
It was recommended to me by a friend or what I thought was a friend.
As you may be aware the Kore Team has taken over Korecoin and a new wallet
is being worked on.

I personally had plans for this coin and it could have been
very useful for many of our ideas.
Since the devs here have never responded I had sold the remaining coins
and now put my support fully behind two projects and coins that are meeting
our original desired goals.

One is Cerium - XCE.
The other is Global - GLOBE.
I like what I see and trust those working with and on these coins.

Cheers!
 Smiley

Just wanted to provide an update.
The Two projects are still in play.
XCE has been switched to XQN due to a dev IW was working with not following through
so IW reorganized it well through Quotient and it has been taken over by them.

GLOBE is still in play and for ones who hold it stake it.
In time announcements will be made.

I trust IW and the projects he creates and works on.
Proof is in coming through with XQN even though the dev of Cerium left a mess
who like some disappearing devs suddenly shows up again...

Hi ALL,

Apologies for my long absence.
I crashed 3 hard drives in a few months the last two in a few weeks so switched to an SSD.
Took awhile to get my new OS and COA by mail.
My 17" laptop would not let me load an OS and took some time to find a work around
so I did not have to pay the manufacturer 75.00hr. for help to load a new OS through all their bloat.

The nature of my business is very hard on Computer components.
I had also been away for over a week but back in town.

***We need to revive the Korecoin Blockchain ASAP.
Please stake your wallets on as many computers that you possibly can.
We appreciate all you have and continue to do to support Korecoin.

Could someone create a mega download link of their latest functional peers.dat file.

EDIT:
I personally have 8 active connections, in sync and staking.
What we need is 12 or more active connections.
Seems it is the usual problem that will be fixed in the new wallet.
Lets hope some blocks go through soon.
Send just a couple coins to another address if you can.

Sincerely,
MikeMike

Our Bittrex listing is a valuable asset to Korecoin.

*Action is required on part of the Korecoin Community providing the
needed volume on Bittrex of their .2BTC Per Day Volume rule, not all in one or two days.

We Team Members spend hours on these projects daily.
The added stress keeping track of Bittrex volume takes away
from our concentration and time.
What does this mean?...... Less tech gets launched.

We are counting on you for the success of Korecoin.

All it takes:
1-Only the price of a latte/soda once or twice a week. It adds up

2-Staking and promoting staking and contributions.
3-Bittrex Volume Support.
Your support in these three areas is all Korecoin needs to come through.

Edward Snowden: Governments Want to Own Your Phone Instead of You

“‘Dreamy Smurf’ is the power management tool, which means turning your phone on or off, without you knowing. ‘Nosey Smurf’ is the hot mixing tool, so for example, in your pocket, they can turn your microphone on and listen to everything that is going on around you. ‘Tracker Smurf’ is a geolocation tool which allows them to follow you with a greater precision than they can get from the typical triangulation of cell phone towers. They want to own your phone instead of you.”

http://cointelegraph.com/news/115402/edward-snowden-governments-want-to-own-your-phone-instead-of-you

Good one RW!
 Smiley
The sad truth is they already do. Your cell phone is now a superior replacement for the time being of getting "chipped".
Ever wonder why after a short while your new cell phone eats battery power?
More and more are designed to stay on enough when turned off to track you.
The fake cell towers and suitcase towers and plane towers are capable of dumbing your phone down to 2G
so they can manipulate it and install malware access and tracking software.
Most of these fake cell towers are located at major highway intersections so they infect the greatest number of phones possible.

Hopefully our Æther OS and FIRE Coder makes a full recovery and/or we find an Honorable Qt.NET or OpenGL.NET coder to work with them to do the hardware rendering and integration.
When we meet our goals we will send Snowden a korecoin wallet!

Good luck with that MikeMike.  But they have tightened up warranty to where they say something they really do mean it.

If you look at the list of things that break warranty now you pretty can do nothing to machine except turn on and run to spec.   Anything else now takes permission.

Out of curiosity did you really wait a year to get the 4 BTC back?  What happened to realize one year later you were owed BTC?

I had my Mother die a terrible death caused by negligence at a hospital and had to move my business at the same time
as her burial arrangements.
She was on the other side of the Continent and was traveling back and forth through her illness and death
and then the legal matters and arranging her burial.
If you have not gone through caring for Elderly Parents till their death one after another then being executor for an estate
with no will, dealing with 5 siblings sorting all that out, closing out a 3 story house
with their accumulated belongings, you have no clue.
You lose years of your life as they come first.
The parts were returned and expected the return of my BTC into wallets I have not checked on for all this time
as I had more important things going on in my life.

What you mention does not apply in my situation.
Each time I had a box of parts to receive they kept requiring me to add to the amount of BTC they held
and sometimes because the box being sent back to them were in transit I suspect.

So you see the majority of the BTC should have been returned to me
and that was negligence on their part.

For them to keep ALL the BTC for the few separate transactions of returns is uncalled for and theft.
Nor is it the way you treat a Loyal Customer that gave them 329+BTC in business and is still
considering to conduct further substantial business with them.

Now I am not saying it is theft at this present time. The end result will be their decision
and I have seen it many times in my life, things go "full circle".
Their current policy has nothing to do with what happened then and should not be used as
a scape goat. Even IF we never sent those last box of parts back it is no reason to keep
all the BTC for each of the RMA arrangements made. At most they were late and from good reason.
Bitmain was made aware I was going through extenuating circumstances at that time.
Not only that but it was a suggestion by us to give our customers great service and
the end result was it made Bitmain look awesome in customer service so we actually
went out on a limb to make them look good.

I am in PM talks with Mr. YHQIN at this time and they asked for the tracking number.
They should have this info since we used their shipping service UPS # they provided us for these returns.
However we will begin digging through boxes and checking direct with UPS for it.
I wish this matter to be resolved respectably and with Honor.

YHQIN,

These were all shipped back to you.

Let's be realistic.
You have had 4+ BTC and kept requiring more deposits though all the parts were worth about
1BTC at the time. So don't go there. I am due all that BTC back and if you dare try to steal
the 4+ BTC from me this will not end well.

You are playing a game of over reach in the original arrangement.
Have you had your Father and Mother die on you terrible deaths
and have to be POA for them as they had no will.
I would wish this on no-one!
Please have some consideration and compassion.
My roof was blown off from hurricane Sandy here in the Eastern USA
so my records are in boxes.
I also had to move due to that.
It destroyed my business at that location.

I do have a tracking number.
Where I do not know and will take some time to find.

Be reasonable.
Have you read all the other emails other than the single mail I sent you?
There were other returns and the BTC kept building up.
This was only the last one.

You know as well as I do that 4+ BTC for those little amount of returns is unjust.

I make you this offer.
Send back 3.25BTC till I confirm the tracking number for the last box of returned parts to you.
Once i provide the tracking number send the rest.
This is more than fair.

Sincerely,
MikeMike

Hi Mike,
As you may already know before, all defective parts should be returned first, then we'll provide the good replacement after we get them. We tried to help you and make the exception for you with the agreed way of making deposit.

As we mentioned in previous email, if you didn't return the defective parts within a week after getting good replacement, we won't refund the deposit to you. We have informed you the info not at once before.

As mentioned in email, we didn't get any update about the S2 hash board and S3 defective parts for such a long time, if you indeed returned them within one week after you get the good replacement, please provide us the tracking number for us to check.

If you didn't return it timely as requested, sorry that I cannot help you now since more than one year has passed:( and financial team has taken them as the payment of the good replacement.)

Is Dev missed from april? why don't you make a new thread?

The new thread will be created at the time of the wallet release.
It will be a fresh start (in many ways).
There will be a new OP page released as well that we are putting
the finishing touches on and adding to due to increased tech.
Plus we don't know how devious the old dev is and we don't want
any of this turmoil in the new thread.
We could more easily just create a new coin and be done with it.
We gave our word to the Kore Community and will live up to it.

I see there is a wireless option in the LAN settings on my S3.
Can I connect directly to the Wireless network?
Heck I never knew the S3 had this capability!
Never hooked an S3 up through the WAN so could use a newbie help guide please.

1799  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: October 11, 2015, 03:03:04 PM
If you connect your s3 straight to your laptop, they have to be in same ip-range. If the miner has default settings (ip 198.168.1.99) you have to set your laptop to use same ip-range.
You can try these settings for your laptop:ip 192.168.1.254,netmask 255.255.255.0,gateway 192.168.1.99, dns doesn't matter here. Save settings.

Then open your browser and connect to 192.168.1.99 if everything is right you should be able to connect the miner.
In miner settings you can use DHCP or static ip. If you set static ip,just use your routers ip-range whatever it is.Dns can be 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (google) or your isp's (use your router's ip).

If your S3 is not in default settings, you really have to know the ip-range where it is.If you know that ip range you can set your laptop to same range and then search with advanced ip-scanner the right address. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help.
For some reason I was getting a warning that there was a conflict of IPs.

This is where I am at now and the settings.
192.168.1.99
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1
8.8.8.8

I had to repair the wireless connection while being connected to the S3.

Let me explain:
I connect to the internet through a wireless thumb drive.
I am trying to hook a single S3 miner up to my LAN to mine with it
through the Wireless USB Internet Connection.
Is that possible?

I guess I am ignorant.

Hi dogie,

How ya been?

Is it possible to setup an S3 through the LAN port on my DeskTop?
What would be the settings I set the IP address to in my Local Area Connection.

Is it:
192.168.1.99
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1
8.8.8.8

If the above is correct...

Is there an alternate DNS I could use?
I can't get it to load on a web page with the above settings.

That's correct for a stock S3. Public Google DNSes are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.. Have you ever connected to this S3? What happened since?

OK It works with the settings above.
I had to repair the wireless connection while being connected to the S3.
It was showing a conflict and actually I deleted the LAN and reinstalled it.
I was messing with it too much and broke it.  Cheesy
