1781  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: September 19, 2022, 11:06:04 PM
Inside job can happen and I agree with the developers responsibilities with the system, they are the one who's holding the key information and vulnerabilities can be started on them, if they are not responsible from what they are doing or if they are not doing their job in securing the site/platform
I think we forgot to talk about one of the most dangerous attacks which is social engineering. Human are the weakest ring of the chain.
It doesn't matter how secure the casino servers or the platform codes are or how experienced the security team is if one of the staff can be easily manipulated or fooled. A casino can get hacked and customers funds stolen just because an unaware customer support agent clicked on a malicious link he got on a phishing email.
Security awareness training is as important as securing servers and vulnerability patching.
1782  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥥 BetCoCo 🥥 -🔥🔥Bonus upto 0.5BTC a month 🔥🔥 on: September 19, 2022, 10:37:43 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk BetCoCo!
I'll sign up asap and claim the welcome bonus if it's still available and see how it goes. Although, I've never been lucky with Gates Of Olympus (I believe it has high volatility!)
I appreciate your transparency regarding your kyc policy, by the way!

Just an advice: do not make multiple posts in a row as it's against forum rules. Try to respond to different comments on a single post for better readability.
1783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update - need your review! on: September 19, 2022, 09:33:41 PM
I like the updates you introduced so far but, please, keep it as simple as possible.
Here is what I noticed while browsing the website:
  - When clicking on the logo/PNNV button on the top left, I was expecting to get redirected to the main page where the Bitcoin price is shown by default, but nothing happened!
  - When typing a long text in one of the text fields, they keep expanding which kinda breaks the website layout.
  - The coin price doesn't update automatically. When I refresh the page, it gets updated.
1784  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin mixer for mixing Bitcoin from Casino? on: September 19, 2022, 08:27:18 PM
PX-Z is right. If your so-called wallet do not accept deposits from casinos then they most likely do not accept deposits from mixers too. So, you have to be careful if you are going to use them. At least, do not send directly from the mixer to your wallet.
As suggested above, chipmixer is with no doubt the best and most reputable mixer out there.
However, and since it seems you don't wan't to pay any fees, you need to know that the smallest chip is 0.001 btc. So, if you send 0.0049btc for example, 0.0009btc will be considered as a donation.
1785  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Buying Positive reviews!! on: September 19, 2022, 07:35:28 PM
^^
Unfortunately, you are right! Many big companies do it too and it will certainly bring you more customers/money. But don't you think this practice is unethical and a bit deceiving, even if you run a legit and good service?
If your services are good enough then you don't need to buy reviews, just give it some time and your satisfied customers will leave positive feedbacks for free.
Buying reviews is one of the reasons why people do not trust those review websites such as trustpilot..
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't keep connected your wallet to a Dapps for a long time. on: September 18, 2022, 11:43:38 PM
I agree with jackg. Connecting metamask to a dApp shouldn't pose any risk. Metamask isn't supposed to share your wallet seed or private keys with the website it's connected to and you need to manually sign the transaction by clicking the sign button so it gets broadcast.

If the dApp can access your seed (although I doubt it) then this is a critical vulnerability and metamask team should've patched it since they are aware of its existence!
1787  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: September 18, 2022, 10:58:30 PM
not all people feel comfortable handing documents to strangers on the internet, did you know that they can take your documents and commit crimes and you are guilty of crimes you didn't commit and it's all because of someone from the anonymous site where you did KYC and Did he sell your documents to a criminal?
Yes, they can do that and there is also the risk of their database getting hacked and your personal information/documents getting leaked all over the Internet. But why would you send your documents to an anonymous company in first place! You should pass kyc only on trusted casinos with good security measures. You are going to send your money after all, so à minimum of trust is needed.

Sometimes we have to review every terms and conditions because they have been changed/added without our knowledge, for example previously no casino asked for KYC verification before the casino complied with regulatory authorities, but after the new rules were implemented there was no announcement to the community before gamblers knew about it during withdrawal.
Any reputable casino, or business in general, will notify its customers about any change in their ToS before those changes take effect (usually no less than a week).
1788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Manipulation looks like on: September 18, 2022, 09:55:19 PM
There are many pump and dump groups out there mostly on telegram and Twitter and the sad thing is that they have thousands of followers who blindly believe every thing they publish without making their own research.
The bright side is that they can only manipulate the price of coins which have no value in first place (small projects or weak team) or coins with low market cap.
Only few influencers can manipulate the price of top ranked coins.
1789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chipstars - Hybrid Casino (Crypto & Fiat) on: September 18, 2022, 08:40:39 PM
I am not sure who decides on whether to start a new ANN thread, we would likely prefer to keep this one. I would like to think a duplicate might be perceived as worse than an update, but I cannot speak for the audience here, thus, I would appreciate feedback on this matter.
Creating more than one announcement thread for the same service is against forum rules as it may be seen as spam. Please check this pinned topic:
One thread per site ONLY
Sure, you can lock this thread, move it to the Archival board and start a new one but I wouldn't recommend doing this. Better update this topic after purchasing the copper membership. Take a look at other announcement threads on this board to get an idea how it should be done.
1790  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A New way to scam People || Be aware and don't fall for it. on: September 18, 2022, 06:14:08 PM
It's clear from the email they sent you that they are liars and full of sh*t. They usually send this kind of emails to hundred of thousands of people hoping some of them will be stupid enough to buy it.

Even if they were real hackers and have access to your devices, you should not feel intimidated and don't send them any money. Instead, report them to the relevant authorities.
1791  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: September 18, 2022, 04:02:52 PM
It's hard to rely everything on gambling bots because as for me, they are riskier than doing it manually unless you don't have much time to focus on the gameplay. I've tried relying on gambling bots before and had more losses compared to the manual result.
You didn't lose because of the bot. Using a bot does not affect your odds of winning/losing.
Casino games are designed in a way that the more you play the more you lose. So what really happened is the bot made this happen faster.
I don't like using them myself as I don't see the fun in that. But they can be useful if you want to apply some strategy and want to place multiple bets as fast as possible.
1792  Economy / Gambling / Re: OldChief.casino ⭐ DICE, WHEELS & unique SNAKE ⭐ Bonuses⭐ New and fast growing ⭐ on: September 17, 2022, 11:32:31 PM
If you arent that a whale on depositing big amounts on a gambling site then having or using up that VPN wont really be that an issue but its true that its never been recommendable on doing such thing
Doesn't really matter whether you are a whale or a small player. You should always comply with the rules and terms of the company you are using its services.
If they say VPNs are prohibited then you should not use them. It's for your own benefit to avoid any possible inconveniences.
Sure, you can use a paid VPN and get away with it for a while but is it really worth the risks?
1793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My crypto/Bitcoin advice. on: September 17, 2022, 09:57:19 PM
What do you mean by "depend your life on bitcoin"? Do you mean making it your main source of income? How are you going to achieve this and what does it have to do with decentralization?
Blockchain or bitcoin being decentralized means freedom and ensure everyone can use it without being afraid of getting censored by a centralized entity, but it doesn't guarantee a stable income.
1794  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Mixer] Cryptoswapper.net on: September 16, 2022, 02:05:40 PM
with the new exchange the service showed the wallet the same as last time
Do you mean they gave you the same deposit address for two different mixing orders!
Addresses reuse is not recommended for privacy reasons and if done by a mixer, which is supposed to enhance user's privacy, then this is a big red flag.
Maybe it wasn't a clear indicator that they were going to scam but it shows how bad their mixing service is.

But, you can put the alleged evidence in this thread, for all to see, so to speak.
I wouldn't recommend doing this, for privacy reasons (which is the aim of using a mixer in first place). But, if really needed by the community, he can send the letter of guarantee to one of the highly trusted members of this forum to check it and ask him to post here to confirm or deny this story. I suggest LoyceV for this as he has done it before.

1796  Economy / Gambling / Re: PF.Guru - The Best Provable Fair Crypto Casinos on: September 13, 2022, 11:50:12 PM
Hi. I love dice games and I believe those strategies for Dice ultimate on BC. Game? I don't know how can I use those strategies. I never used Dicebot or any other script because those are not from trusted sources. But, you are here with your website. Can I trust you? Do you have any guide on how to use those strategies with Dicebot or whatever method?
I suggest you to understand first how those strategies work before applying them with real money. Then try to find a casino which let's you play dice on demo mode and test those strategies, you will realize that sooner or later you will lose all your money. All it takes is a relatively long losing streak (depending on your balance). And even if you stop while in profit you will end up with a small profit.
Martingale strategies are practically chasing losses which all experienced gamblers don't recommend to do (every time you lose, you increase the bet amount in hope of recovering your previous loss)
1797  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🪄 arcanebet.com 🪄 Your new favourite Crypto Casino 🎲 on: September 13, 2022, 10:49:29 PM
On a completely different note, are you (reader), willing to perform KYC when being offered an appealing bonus? For example, a deposit bonus with fair rollover/wager terms. One of the main reasons attractive deposit bonuses are not common in the crypto space is that they are highly abusable when no KYC is required. It would be great to hear your opinions.
Seems like a good idea and it will encourage those who are still undecided to pass kyc. This way you will attract more players and, at the same time, you'll be sure they will verify their identity which means a better user experience and less complaints about kyc. But the success of this strategy will depend on how much you will offer as a bonus.
Personally, I will wait till you earn enough reputation (no offense) so I can be sure my personal information will be safe with you.
1798  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: September 13, 2022, 09:30:34 PM
They focus more on winning again and they become greedy thinking that they could easily regain the losses which usually ends up in gambling addiction. They feel confident that they could always win because they have experienced it already which is a wrong mindset.
Greediness is one of the reasons, indeed, but not the only one. Gamblers tend to forget about their previous losses and how much they have spent every time they hit a big win. They consider their winnings as free money which is a wrong belief as they could have spent more than what they earned (not talking about those who made insane wins). Because of this, they usually wouldn't mind spending more and even start placing higher bet. And we all know how this usually ends!
1799  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wallet transaction notifications vs Smart alerts on: September 13, 2022, 08:20:10 PM
Hey folks, do you all use any transaction notification services to keep track of the ins and outs of all of your wallets?
I did it once when my ethereum address got hacked and it was still receiving altcoins from airdrops I used to join.
I did it by adding my address to the adresses watch list on my etherscan.io account and am still receiving email notification till now. The only problem is that you will receive notification only for eth transfers.

Also, how many of you set up smart alerts to track projects or whales?
I don't, but I visit Whale Alert Twitter account from time to time just out of curiosity.
1800  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 13, 2022, 07:25:04 PM
Think that someday you won a big amount of money and you thought that you're lucky and this amount will change your fortune and all of sudden, the site asks to verify your phone number or documents, and you're left with nothing as you provided the wrong details.  If you want to fortify your money, then you may take chances, but I will not recommend using a fake identity where you are putting your real money.
I can't understand why so many users are still discussing this subject. Roobet made passing level-1 KYC mandatory long time ago. By submitting fake information, the user is not only risking to lose his coins but he is literally cheating (there is no other word to describe it). Of course, there is no way to prevent people from doing it but they need to assume the consequences when they get caught, and they will.
If you don't want to verify your identity then look for a casino which do not require it.
