1781  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 22, 2022, 03:13:38 PM
I
I did not check recently but most probably blackjack.fun also have similar type of poker specialty but I could be very wrong about them. In any way, swcpoker should be the best destination to play poker with crypto.

Blackjack.fun? When I participated in the signature campaign, I registered on the site and played blackjack, but I don't remember any poker options at all. If there were, I would have played, and I don't think I missed it.

Yes that's I wanted to say, most of those casinos offer video poker games or live casino poker games against the house(a dealer). But they don't offer real PvP poker games and poker rooms.

That's not poker, then, as you can't play EV+.
Yes I agree with you it has nothing to do with poker, more with games like Teen Patti actually, but many people don't know anything about gambling and even about casinos, so if they see poker in the title of a game or on Google, they just come here and recommend the casino as a good place to play poker... that's it.
For blackjack.fun you're right, I've never seen any poker room there, so I don't understand why this user has named it here.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 22, 2022, 12:49:21 PM
Some casino bonus is still worth it but most of them are garbage that requires insane wagering requirements but as I said there’s still some casino that offers genuine bonuses for all there players like Livecasino. They have always offer a promotion that requires some luck to win huge prize like winning streak count on blackjack and high multiplier on slots.

They also have tournaments which rewards multiple players which means the chance for a normal player that playing with normal bank roll is high since they reward many player in contrary to the typical casino promotion that only reward top 5 to 10. I have a lot of bonus experience on livecasino that doesn’t requires me to invest much on bankroll to complete the requirements.
I agree with you, many casinos offer BS garbage bonuses or promotions with unreachable wagering requirements. Some of them are well known here for that. But some reputed casinos like Livecasino, Bitcasino and Sportsbet are offering real bonuses and promotions easily affordable for the average players with no wagering requirements and no risks of account locking or restrictions.
1783  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 22, 2022, 12:22:08 PM
Guys, i don't believe you're posting a single casino each. There's so many sites with poker where you're able to pay using cryptocurrencies.

 Coinplay
 Lucky Block
 CoinPoker
 BC.Game
 Cloudbet
 Winz.io
 BetOnline
 Bitslot
 Fortune Jack
 Bovada
 Chipstars
 Black Chip Poker
 Jazz Sports
 MyStake
 Nitrobetting

And this isn't even all of them, just the ones that I've found in 5 minutes of googling.
I haven't tried all of them, but these sites all have decent reviews and should offer good and safe experience.
the thing is, OP is looking for poker rooms(at least that is what I think he is looking for). anyway, I checked the casinos you shared and the majority of the casino you shared either has live poker or video poker. only CoinPoker, BetOnline, Bovada, Chipstars and Black Chip Poker are the only ones that have poker rooms on the list(correct me if I missed a casino on the list that has poker room)
Yes that's I wanted to say, most of those casinos offer video poker games or live casino poker games against the house(a dealer). But they don't offer real PvP poker games and poker rooms. In the list, Nittrobetting is also offering good poker rooms though. https://play.nitrobetting.eu/en/poker
That's sad to see you're the only one noticing it, but it shows the overall level of the section and how it is spammed unfortunately, because I'm not even a poker player.
1784  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: December 22, 2022, 10:13:25 AM
Unfortunately he seems to receive promotional emails but not being able to reach some promotion pages from those emails, it should be very frustrating but it can come from his location or because his account had some restrictions. @BitcoinHunt3r do you have those kind of restrictions on Bitcasino or Sportsbet too?
I've been checking just in case and I don't seem to have any restrictions on promotions. I do have restrictions on slots, HackShaw gaming slots I can't play any more, but promotions are available to me. It's a pity for him to get the email with the promotions and then not be able to access them.
Fortunately, it seems that promotions are more widely available than slots and live games. A new one has been released recently by the way, Fireworks of Fortune, I managed to win some free chips for the Gold Bar Roulette (a new live game from Evolution launched few months ago) thanks to it but unfortunately the gold bars I earned have disappeared once I used the last free chips. The support and the game rules say they are stored into the player account during 180days though. Has anyone else encountered this issue as well?

This promotion is not available for all accounts including me I didn't see it on my page, so I don't have a way to participate just watching you fight  Cheesy
Sometimes I feel strange when I receive a promotional email but did not find it on my page, now I have sent an email to the support team to ask it
Does your account allows promotional email sent on your email address? You can check it on your account settings because I have this same problem before that I’m missing a lot of promotion while others mentioning it here. I got a tip from fellow livecasino players that allowing promotional email can give offers on all the special promotion of livecasino.

Also they have new promo that involves sms notification which you can received special promotion when you connect your mobile number to your casino account. I believe not all players allow livecasino to send promotional email that’s why only few manage to see those promotion.

1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 19, 2022, 10:52:43 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.
^ Here is https://greenwall.gg/mortal-kombat/.
I read a few casinos that support mortal combat games which is interesting game because you can increase your odds by believing in your skills.
But as we know those p2p games don't have to gain massive adoption because probably there are too many things to consider. First is that it should have a strong internet connection and hard-to-find match which is player don't have the same vacant time.
However, I like this idea and I want to support this, I hope someone here at a gambling casino support this kind of game.
I don't know for GG.bet but all the other sportsbooks quoted onto this page are 1xbet cloned sites. So I don't think it's very safe to place bets on this game there. Players are usually unknown or half-anonymous so games can easily be rigged to let the player who got the lower amount of bets on himself to lose at the end. Moreover live bets are also available generally, but it's a classic scammy practice in small sports to feign being dominated by the opponent to encourage people to bet on the apparent strongest player and to beat him at the end to take all the money.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Evolution Gaming - Free Bet Blackjack on: December 18, 2022, 10:41:44 PM
You should add this info on the thread because this is the major disadvantage of this game in exchange for all those free bets given. However Blackjack can still win even with dealer bust at 22 but the chance for dealer to bust at 22 is very high and really frustrating if you have successful double down and split then deal just bust at 22 to tie the game.

Added the draw result when dealer busted @ 22 count. This is the only disadvantage of this game but it’s compensated by the free bets offered. I rarely encounter this scenario but it’s just a small price to pay for having an extra free bet especially if you are wagering huge amount.
The push on 22 for the dealer only (and not for the player) is not fully compensated by the free split and free double down bets actually since the optimal theoretical RTP is only of 98.45% instead of 99.47% for the classic unlimited blackjack from Evolution with the 6cards Charlie rule too. So I think it's only interesting for very good blackjack players who have a special strategy for this game along with a specific counting method. Because the game seems to only be profitable if you get several double down or split hands or if you are able to bet higher when they are the most likely to be drawn.
1788  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 18, 2022, 09:43:54 PM
That is the difference maker for many people who watched him. If you want to see something chaotic then you are not going to enjoy the stream, Drake has like a bet that he does and then he keeps on betting the same thing over and over again, if you do not find the amount entertaining part then you are not going to like it.
If you are talking about the weird patterns he always draws on the layout of the roulette with his chips, I still wonder why he's doing that. What is the point in placing split, street and corner bets when the numbers involved are already covered by straight up bets? (or vice versa) It just makes it more complex to calculate the winnings at the end. Does anyone know why he's doing that actually? Is it a way to circumvent a limit he has on the maximum number of straight up bets he can place at the same time?
1789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: December 18, 2022, 09:04:29 PM
do you know there are other events on telegram?
Here you can go https://t.me/BitcasinoClub/939 predict how many total goals+cards in today match
I don't really use telegram much which is why I don't find this offer appealing, but I might check it out later since I am following the ongoing football World Cup pretty closely.

I'm just reminding who knows there are other users here who have forgotten, I saw the username @Saint-Loup there he is a forum user
Have you seen the prize pool yet? the total prize is $1000 for 10 winners for the top 3 prizes is quite tempting  Smiley
To be honest I've missed a few matches, I just realized it yesterday and there are still 2 games left.

Yes it has been a long but very interesting contest, because we had to compete on several statistics and metrics of the game during those 3 weeks. Unfortunately one participant (the former leader) is now complaining and making a drama on Telegram because too many points have been put in the game for the last match which can upset the leaderboard according to him. I don't know if he's right or wrong but at least it shows that people could join the contest until the end with fair chances to win something.

it shouldn't have been a penalty but the referee pointed to the penalty box for Argentina and finally made France's confidence decrease and had to be 2 goals behind, I bet for France I hope that in round 2 France will be able to catch up to make a draw or turn things around to surprise , is anyone betting on france here

I placed a bet, before the match on France to win, but seems like Argentina is bringing the worldcup home. Watched some parts of the first half and France really played bad, so they would need a miracle if they still want to win it.
Same for me, I bet on France to win the match on Freebitcoin and Both Teams To Score in the regular time on another sportsbooks but at the end of the first half I really thought that neither of my bets will win LOL. This match has been terrible for the french team, we need to wait 80 minutes to see one goal from France thanks to a penalty. If Otamendi wouldn't make this stupid foul, I really wonder if France would have been able to score one goal before the end of the game actually.

1793  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Short Adresses , how to check it? on: December 18, 2022, 12:20:02 PM
.... Yes, it may not be accurate, in some cases the wrong address may be returned/checked, but I don't know of better tools.

Sorry I didn't put it clearly, it's not that there are no better tools, it's the fact that there are no tools or even a way to be sure.

If you can't see the full address and the private key so you can verify that the private key is actually, for that address, while making sure nobody else has seen / still has the private key then you no longer have BTC.

You have a lottery ticket that may or may not have BTC in it when you finally scratch it off.

Look a handy thread that not enough people read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3315347.0

-Dave
Well this thread is more about classic scams you can get with many other goods you can purchase online unfortunately. But what you said above is interesting, for you the acceptable limit of a shortened address should be 10 characters at least. Address strings shorter than that are such risky? I mean 7+ characters is not enough according to you? Are there some figure (stastistics) about that somewhere?
1794  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Private to WIF to public to address on: December 18, 2022, 11:42:58 AM
Since I didn't find any projects like that on Github, I asked OpenAI's chatGPT to write a hex to base58 C++ function. I'm licensing the resulting code under the MIT license.
Code:
...

[...]

Since Bitcoin uses Base58Check which adds a checksum at the end of the Base58 string, and not just plain Base58, we need to modify this function as follows (also MIT licensed / AI generated):
Code:
...

It's using OpenSSL by the way, but I have a standalone SHA256 class file (that is not AI-generated) that does an equivalent job if you want it.

Damn, now I'm worried that I'm going to be obsoleted by a robot  Cheesy

[...]
PS: Since most people will be dealing with binary data when converting the HASH160 to base58(check), I decided to ask chatGPT to make binary to hex conversions as well:
Code:
...

I am so glad I didn't waste $100 on Copilot, this is so much better and more useful (and free!).
What you manage to do with this tool is very impressive, to be honest. Congratulations. Each time I tried to ask it something, about various matters, I got very incomplete/unsatisfactory results, with mistakes and erroneous claims unfortunately.
Which kind of questions did you ask it to get those results precisely?
1795  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: what is the best crypto wallet for mobile? on: December 18, 2022, 10:51:23 AM
When I used it to create wallet directly on Bluewallet, I did not see anything like I should include passphrase, but I can be able to select the wallet type, or to provide entropy (which would be similar to throwing of dice).
It's the first time I heard about a mobile wallet providing this kind of feature. It should be a primary criterion though, since several mobile wallets have been hacked because of their lack of entropy in the past. On which form could we enter entropy? Only base 6 numbers(dice) or decimal, binary and hexadecimal values are also accepted?
1796  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-12-16] Germany calls for global regulation of the cryptospace on: December 17, 2022, 10:58:58 PM
Fortunately they can imagine all the regulations they want they will never be able to regulate further things than centralized platforms. They will never be able to stop people from exchanging cryptos p2p against goods, services, other cryptos or even fiats. They will never be able to stop people from creating and holding a seed wallet with some cryptos into it. Bitcoin has been designed to be fully decentralized and uncensorable. So I wish them good luck to try to regulate cryptos as if it was fiat money. If it was easy to do Bitcoin would have been replaced since many years.
1797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know wich wallet belongs to a phrase? on: December 17, 2022, 10:41:30 PM
Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your time.
I have the phrase and i have an old (2021) desktop wallet installation in my pc without executable (i guess i have deleted the exe file in order to avoid anyone to execute the wallet). It appears the following folders:
/chainstate
/bit
/blocks

If i find the wallet i could recover it with the phrase. But I dont know which wallet I installed (Bitcoin Core...) and i would like to know if someone can says which is this wallet. Otherwise i see spending months trying wallets and wallets and synchronizing them...
Thanks again
The easiest and quickest way IMO, is to use the Ian Coleman BIP39 page offline https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ - you can also safely download it from his Github https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39/releases/latest/ - and to try common derivation paths from main wallets. Then you will just need to check the obtained addresses onto an online blockchain explorer to check if they are empty or not.

Wow this website really belongs to the "FreeBitco.in Family" as you said? That's crazy because it's not a gambling site this time it's a CFD exchange!
Have you already opened a thread about it on Bitcointalk? Do you plan to advertise it here through an advertising banner, a signature campaign or a special promotion for Bitcointalk users? That's the first time I see CFDs on footballer players btw, that's very original and certainly even unique IMO.
1799  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: December 17, 2022, 09:45:08 PM
As no group and no individual has taken legal action against them, I am beginning to think about the actual number of victims being much smaller than estimated because many of the allegations and accusations against 1xbit are without substance or evidence, mostly just newbie accounts complaining of scams. There is a probability 1xbit are still selective scamming but they have not resolved the open cases against them therefore cannot be trusted.

Several attempts have been made to try to discourage members from joining their campaigns and for them to stop displaying the 1xbit signature but as you said the website has not been shut down. If the victims form a group and take legal action as one, then it might be the way forward to try to actually bring an end to their business. but there is no desire for victims to do it.

Here is my contribution to try to minimise the impact 1xbit are having in the forum and I would like to thank all those members that are trying to discourage 1xbit signature campaign participants from using the forum to promote them: REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants
The number of victims here can't be large since it's not a gambling forum and most people posting in the gambling sections are only doing it because of requirements from their signature campaign. As we can see in scam accusation threads, people really concerned by what casinos are doing to their customers are just a small handful in reality, and I suspect many of users to post about 1xbit not because they really want to stop a scammy casino but because they need to make a post about a gambling topic actually. Personally I've used this casino in the past and I've been able to withdraw my funds and my winnings without issues, that's all I can say about them.

Those promotion restrictions are weird indeed, do you think they are linked to your account specifically, or it belongs to your location? Do you get those kind of restrictions when you participate to promotion and tournaments at Bitcasino or Sportsbet? The promotion/tournament ends tomorrow and there are still only 12 participants in the leaderboard.
