I don't get it, you just try to get the highest multipliers you can or you try to make profits thanks to this method? Because it would be the first time I hear that someone is able to beat the house edge of the game on the long run without cheating the game, and just betting randomly. So it can be interesting if getting high multipliers give you some bonuses or prizes enhancing your expected value, but if you don't get anything on top of the regular winnings of the game, I wonder how you could statistically beat the house edge of the game. The Expected Value is a rather old mathematical concept (elaborated by Blaise Pascal AFAIK), so I think we would already know if it's wrong.
822  Economy / Gambling / Re: My best SPORTSBETTING advices! ⚽️ on: October 08, 2023, 07:52:09 PM
2. Don't be so greedy, settle down with low odds but not to low, no need to add a lot of games to increase the odds, make research about 1-2 games and settle down with that, place a bet and if the bet turn out into winning, do it all over again with the winnings, it will be higher chance to be a winner long term this way instead of example only place bet with example 10x - 15x or more in odds.

3. Single bet or double is the way to go, sometimes a triple. But not more, it always at least one favorite team that won't win that day.
Those two advices don't make sense and are not the most relevent IMO because sportsbooks often take higher margins on small odds, because people are less likely to notice them. Offering 1.02 european odds instead of 1.03 goes more easily unnoticed than offering 9.00 instead of 10.0 for example. In addition you find several value bets multipliying in a parlay gives better profits than using single bets.
823  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to spend Sats? on: October 08, 2023, 07:29:16 PM
The website is clear and minimalist, allowing to find the information quickly, I like that. I discovered several services that I didn't known they were accepting Bitcoin payments, it's a good thing because I am always happy to use my Bitcoin for buying something in real life which is for what Bitcoin has been designed at first. Unfortunately your gambling section is very poor and you don't list casinos with the best reputation(like 1xbet) I think you could look at the Gambling section of the forum to find some good ones to add. The one I'm promoting in my signature(Livecasino) could deserve it for example IMO. Anyway thank you for sharing it here, that's a nice service.
824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Revolut bitcoin deposit on: October 08, 2023, 06:57:59 PM
I think this should be seen as a lesson to others that revolut should not be used to receive bitcoins from other people directly.
Btw did you use an exchange like @marbet85 or a personal (noncustody) wallet for the deposit?

It was a non-custodial wallet. The address I have used doesn't have that much activity. I never used any shady exchanges or received money from randoms. I even went ahead and used AMLBot just to make sure that funds were "clean" and everything looked fine so my theory and like I said before is that it's because of the receiver's location.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience here, I was thinking about opening an account there since they are now dealing with cryptocurrencies but what they've done with your friend is not only unprofessional, it's really frightening for any crypto user. So I think I will wait a bit more. Transaction fees on Bitcoin are rather high unfortunately, so people usually send amounts above dozens of USD, so if deposits are not smooth and safe, it's a serious issue. What is AMLBot please? I've never heard about it before. It certifies that your funds are clean?
825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Fair Fund notice on: October 08, 2023, 06:35:14 PM
I'm from Romania.

That's the final notice ( deadline Oct 1st ). KCC is legit from what I see. I'm expecting some notice from Kraken and also from Bittrex  ( only for Bittrex US users).
I wouldn't be surprised at all to get something from Binance also..( but there are two separate entities, US and Global).
I'm from European Union too (France) but I didn't get anything from them sadly. I don't know how many people are eligible to the compensation, but the amount shared and distributed seems to be rather large. I don't think you will get this kind of reward from Bittrex since they are already closed and will only share the remaining money they have between customers who had still funds onto their account when they've closed their doors.

Quote
The Commission ordered Poloniex to pay $8,484,313.99 in disgorgement, $403,995.12 in prejudgment interest, and a $1,500,000 civil money penalty to the Commission. The Commission created the Poloniex Fair Fund pursuant to Section 308(a) of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, so the penalty paid, along with the disgorgement and interest paid, can be distributed to harmed investors.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: October 08, 2023, 05:57:59 PM
Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency. The name is an eye opener to crypto, and has brought or attracted many people into crypto currency today. And has continued to stand firmly without fading.

Many turn into shitcoin investor. After knowing about Bitcoin. Unfortunately it didn't work out the way they thought.
I am a tipical example of that. when I heard about Bitcoin how it started from $0.01 to thousands of dollars I thought shitcoin also has that potential. I was working and was investing in valueless coins thinking dey will be like Bitcoin. but never did as Bitcoin. all gradually disappeared. And that made me regret no investing it on Bitcoin then.

Although some people were pretty lucky to make alot of dollars from shitcoin, but mine didn't work out in any ways, so I would like you guys to shear your ideas on this an the possible solution.
It's easy to call a cryptocurrency "shitcoin" once it has crashed, but before the crash it's unfortunately very difficult to guess if the crypto, its feature, the project associated to it and its ecosystem or environment, will be successful or not. People are interested in Web3, DeFi, GameFi/GambleFi, NFT, smart contracts, obfuscation, cheap and fast transactions, many things missing in Bitcoin, so there is room for some altcoins to emerge.

828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: October 07, 2023, 09:56:09 PM
I don`t think that it is a problem to hire a specialist that can find several advisers in cryptocurrencies and compare their information. In such way the OP will get combined advice from the several persons and he have a real man that made it. So he has a man with the face but not unknown nicknames like here. And the same time i don`t see any problem with cryptocurrencies convert. If the OP has his money in cryptocurrencies - he need to convert a small part of them to pay a consultant or he can pay him in cryptocurrencies too.
Showing to random people that you are holding very large amounts of cryptos is not safe, because they can try to scam, to steal or to extort you. In addition, it would be very hard to find several specialists of the matter to hire. How and where he could find them? If he places an advert here or on social medias, do you really think he will get serious candidates? Maybe he can try to look at Wizard of Vegas or at some specialized subreddits for example, but meanwhile it's not a bad idea to ask for insights to the community here.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provable fairness should be mandated by law! ONLY gamble in provably fair casino on: October 07, 2023, 09:49:06 PM
While in theory I strongly agree with you I think that the casinos always will have an upper edge and most slot providers now are offering adjustable RTP and the casino can adjust the RTP to their liking and tell us in the game description another RTP,we have absolutely no way to find out which RTP the casino is using and as such we cannot evaluate if the slot is being run in a provably fair mode or not.The slot provider will surely not give us the client seed, server seed, hash and any other thing needed to prove that the game or the spin was a provably fair one.

In other luck games most casinos, reputable casinos are offering all that is needed to dictate if it is a provably fair game or not.
Your words are very surprising, why do you say that we have absolutely no way to find out which RTP the casino is using Huh Almost 99% of the slots display their RTP inside the game into an information tab. Do you think we shouldn't trust their figures? Usually several versions of one game with different RTPs are offered by 3rd party providers and casinos choose which one they want to use. But the RTP of the version is always available somewhere in the game normally.
830  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is purely a mental challenge on: October 07, 2023, 09:37:01 PM
I also agree, whether to hodl or sell in short term as long as the person is in profit it is still a good trade/investment.  It would be better if one is knowledgeable with trading to exercise trading then holding since trading can greatly increase an investors position if all his actions is a success.  There might be more risk involve but if successful the investor can reap more reward or profit.  Short term holdin isn't also a bad thing as long as he is able to rinse and repeat his action.  Besides profit will never be realized if we don't sell our stash.
In addition, you shouldn't forget that nobody is currently able to predict the price of Bitcoin in the coming years. People saying the opposite are lying. Nobody can certify that Bictoin will be above the current price (around 28k$) in 5 years, or even in one year. Especially after the deployment of CBDC, nobody can say how the Bitcoin market will react to that. Bitcoin starts to get old, and it's expensive and slow to use compared to most of other cryptocurrencies, so its adoption is likely to happen as time is passing. Only serious technological changes could reverse the trend IMO.
831  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 07, 2023, 08:59:59 PM
The interest rate in 30 days is lower when compared to 180 days. Besides that, the price is not pumping from last few months.
So it will take quite a while when the pump in price starts and so I guess 180 days is a sweet spot to get extra interest and accumulate more FUN tokens.
If the price increases in next 6 months may be we can consider taking profits and otherwise repeat the cycle.
That's my plan though and everyone has their own perspective.
I was mainly using 30days cycles but I start to change my mind, because I agree with you, the price doesn't increase anymore, it mostly stays stable or goes down. So being able to sell some coins don't give anything more, you will end by back buying them at the same price and locking them again for 30 days. The 90days lock-up period could be an interesting compromise too, so I will certainly choose it for my next FUN investment.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Made Such Mistake Before, But Won still? on: October 06, 2023, 09:58:26 PM
I don't think fat fingers can be avoided if you are a daily gambler unfortunately, because one day if you're sleepy, worried by something, in a hurry, if your computer is lagging, or if there is a kind of glitch in the display of the game, you will make a mistake. It's inevitable. It has happened to me several times, including with rather large amounts a couple of times and I don't think I'm in profit from my fat fingers sadly. Some casinos offer "vault" features on user accounts, in order to avoid that but unfortunately not all of platforms are offering this option. Casinos know how it's difficult to stay fully focused, especially after several hours of gambling, but it's part of their business model.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Before you take sides on: October 06, 2023, 09:45:00 PM
We all know how people used to be protective when trying to explain how someone treated them badly, they always want to be the winner and if you are not smart you can fight the wrong war for them, later you will find out that they are the problem.

Gamblers are telling stories about how they got banned because they are winning too much, I will like to tell you not to believe everything people tell you, these stories typically have another side of the story, there is a high probability that these gamblers have broken some rules along the way.

For reputable casinos, banning players that have won a lot of money legally is bad for their business, the casinos knows that the word of the mouth spreads faster than anything, so I believe that a reputable casino do their strong research before they use their ban hammer.

Before you take sides with gamblers claiming they get banned for winning too much, remember that casinos are good at monitoring and preventing fraudulent behaviors, you break some rules you are out, and no cheater want to admit that they cheat.
You must be a beginner, if you don't know that because it's a well known fact in the gambling industry bro, casinos are profit-oriented businesses, and very skilled or lucky players can pose financial risks to them. So they limit or ban such players to protect their profits. It's rare for (online) casino games gamblers but it's very common for sport bettors. Actually, if casinos/sportsbooks were as fair and honest as you claim, they would write explicitly in their terms and conditions that they don't ban or restrict account of winners, or they would at least tell it in their advertisements, but that's not the case, their ToS are mostly vague on that matter letting them doing it without saying it explicitly to avoid bad reputation.
Telling this kind of things here, in the gambling section it's advocating for scammy and dishonest platforms and defaming victims, so I would be careful if I was you because some DT members could give you a red tag for that.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 06, 2023, 09:15:36 PM
A lady cried seriously after losing her money in sports bet gambling. Navigate to the image for more info 👉👉👉

Gambling is not for the weak minded ones but for those who can withstand with the bad motion/feeling when it occurs. Any gambler that thinking to win always is not well prepared for the gambling space. As a Gambler, you have to prepare your mind that the game you are playing might favour you or against you and if the game against you, then you have to wear a thick skin to over come the lose. Gambling is not for butter and bread but for the better and the worst. So any of the above come to your way as a gambler, you take. No man/woman should cry for gambling though it is painful but you don't have to cry. The casino company never cry when you win. She would have known that gambling is not her loss is another person win and her win is another person loss. Casinos want you to loss and you want casinos to loss and that is how gambling game is. Many people don't understand gambling and all what they want is to play and win. And I believed that she didn't read the Ts of the casino and probably she was excited for the game and placed her bet and loss.
This is the first time I am seeing a lady playing gamble in the public domain. Though I have been hearing but not seen. Well she should take heart, the matter how she cried the money will not come back again. What do you say about the Lady? Did she do well in the public? As I said, gambling is not your mate, take precautions.
OMG she really looks desperate in the video, and seems to have undergone nasty losses. I hope she's fine now, and some people took care of her, because it's dangerous to leave someone in this state, and according to the article most comments on her video have been ruthless and didn't share any empathy for her situation and her pain. When you bet on sports it's crucial to only dedicate to your bankroll funds you can afford to lose, to limit your bankroll and to manage it carefully. It's also important to look at the RTP of your bets. And to avoid bets with high margin or to bet fewer money on them, otherwise you will quickly deplete your bankroll.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provable fairness should be mandated by law! ONLY gamble in provably fair casino on: October 06, 2023, 08:32:40 PM
It's been more than 10 years since provable fairness was implemented and popularized thanks to bitcoin gambling.

However, the most popular and otherwise Legally registered casinos that have e-gambling STILL don't implement it.
Most big online casinos that have dice, slots, roulette and other games based on randomness simply have a "certificate" that basically says results will be random Trust Us™. Well, are we supposed to pretend that they don't KNOW provable fairness exists by now? Honestly between the last 10 years all companies capable making custom e-gambling games have become rich. But yet we don't see big casinos caring enough to implement trustless technology.

Under their current schemes, they could be cheating people with rigged games and there wouldn't be even any way to prove this as it all happens virtually... The funny thing is that in many occasions, this happens under government issued licenses. It seems as though even government officials don't care to protect their citizens... When a simple solution exists to irrefutably PROVE the randomness of all games, why would politicians and cronies licensing those games be OK with leaving the door open for online casinos to cheat on their citizens without anyone noticing? Who knows what corruption might be at play here.

It's for these reasons that when I gamble, I only gamble in provably fair casinos. Regardless of whether my government has licensed them or not. This is just one of the occasions that the law doesn't protect anyone other than the 0.1% richest who pay millions for casino licenses.
I agree with you it's a pity that a decade has passed and things haven't really changed about that matter. And to be honest I don't understand why slot providers don't try to implement this technology if they're honest and transparent. Are they afraid to lose players by proposing things too complex for the average Joe? Do they think users will play less quickly and then fewer rounds at the end if they check the outcomes or if they often change their client seed? Or they are afraid to make them more concerned about their PnL and the RTP of the game? I think things could change in the coming years when people will become more familiar with cryptos thanks to the adoption of CBDCs in some countries.
But meanwhile if you want to play almost provably fair games at casinos, the easiest way is to play live table games, especially card games or dice ones. Since they are mixing cards in front of you, they can't rig the games.

Hello gamblers,

Are we allowed to use freebitco.in as a BTC mixing services?

Is there any rule on limits (and other related constrains) about depositing and withdrawing BTC for the purpose of earning daily interest?

(If these are addressed already, kindly link me).
I don't understand why you want to deposit and then withdraw your BTC from the platform. Is it because you don't trust it and you are afraid to leave your funds there or because you want to invest your money elsewhere the same day, after getting your earnings from Freebitcoin?
As it is written onto the earning page, they protect themselves against this kind of abuse by calculating and crediting the daily interests at random time everyday.
If you want to "mix" your coins efficiently it's better to exchange them to another crypto at one platform and then to exchange back in BTC the converted funds onto another platform IMO. On Freebitcoin you can convert your BTC into FUN tokens, it could maybe help you.

Quote
There is no lock-in period to earn interest (you start earning interest right from the first day!) and your balance can be withdrawn any time you wish.
[...]
We calculate the interest on your account balance daily and credit it at a random time every day. If the interest would be credited at a fixed time everyday, people would be able to game the system by depositing before the credit time and then withdrawing after they receive their interest. To avoid this, the daily interest is calculated and credited at a random time everyday.

It is strange for me that man with such sum searching an advice from the unknown members. With such money i don`t see a problem to find a specialist for analyze. I even can`t imagine anybody with such sum searching such information himself. It can be some assistant hired for searching such information or just fake, i don`t know for what purposes.
You are right it's a little bit surprising, but to be honest I have no idea where you could find a specialist of crypto sportbooks to hire. In addition, if you hire one people you will only get one single opinion and experience, so OP is maybe looking for diverse opinions and insights from the community. In addition many people became millionaires in crypto thanks to smart or lucky early investments, scams or hacks, but they don't live like common millionaires because it's not easy at all in most countries to convert millions dollars of cryptos into fiat money. So they use their cryptos to play with them.
