181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 23, 2018, 07:45:32 AM
I have been investing in cryptocurrency for 5 months . I am buying some icos and holding coins. I started with 5000 usd. And sometimes my balance went up to 30k and down to 12k . I feel very uncomfortable when my balance is dropped.
So i want to know is there any strategy to protect your balance before the dump?
Anyone can help please.
Thank you so much.

There is no perfect stratagy to use to know if bitcoin or an altcoin is going to dump unless you have sight in the future Cheesy Make your own analysis, i'm sure that in 5 months you already familiar with the flow of the crypto trading. In time of dump of your coins, the only best way to do is to keep holding it.
182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: February 23, 2018, 05:52:16 AM
I need some help.

I already have experience trading FOREX but until now im not that profitable. The market of forex is very UNPREDICTABLE. technical and fundamental analysis are not really working. Market makers and bank institutions are controlling the market. its centralized and big banks can manipulate the exchange.

Im planning to leave FOREX and switch to CRYTPO trading. Does anyone know who controls the bitcoin price? is it still the government or the whales trader?

If you think that forex for you is unpredictable, then you must be ready because crypto currency trading is more volatile in value and more unpredictable. Crypto trading is very risky but the good thing here in crypto trading is even in a small amount of investment you can still make a lot of profit than the usual forex
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back below 6K on: February 22, 2018, 05:57:03 PM
Hii , I'm afraid if Bitcoin back below 6K again, should I hold till 20K or close right now?

Depends on you, you can make a short trade if you think that bitcoin will go back to 6k $ each. Dont listen to others predictions/speculations, make your own analysis in the current trend of bitcoin. Price of bitcoin will always be volatile, so its just a normal fluctuation in crypto market.

185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made? on: February 21, 2018, 04:07:00 PM
We always hear people posting about their awesome trades and/or gains but very rarely hear about the stupid things that people do. With that in mind, let's hear the biggest brainfarts you've had while trading crypto...

Worst thing that i do in trading is when i buy a thousand of digibyte coins at 400 satoshi each, after nearly a week i didnt see any movement but always going down until i lost 30% of my total value of coins, then i decided to cut my lost. After another week it pump around 1000 satoshi each. Sad if i just hold on Sad
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or real coin which is better to invest in? on: February 20, 2018, 03:51:10 PM
I have observed that most ICOs does not make it to the exchage. Meaning that investors will lose fund.
Is it not better to trade on extablished coins instead of dealing with icos?

ICOs are very risky compared to the established coin but what good in ICO is you can buy a coin at a discounted price or have bonus coins. All you have to do is wait the coin to be listed in an exchange. Just search the coin deeply if it has potential to be the top coin in market for a long term.

188  Economy / Speculation / Re: What caused Bitcoin goes down very hard recently? on: February 18, 2018, 04:15:58 PM
Bitcoin is going down very hard till now after touch ATH last year. Any idea what caused it? And what the impact to other altcoins? Any opinion when bitcoin will be rise up again?

Feel free to answer my questions and thanks for your participation.

The main reason that i see is the price correction. Addition to the FUD and negative news that bitcoin is facing also cause the value to decrease. Some altcoins are only paired to bitcoin in trading, so when the price of bitcoin will go increase or decrease, the altcoin value will also affected.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH on: February 17, 2018, 03:21:38 PM
Breaking 10k $ value is good sign for bitcoin investors. I can see that more investors will come now and give them more confidence because of the recent. Once bitcoin goes up to 15k $ this month, for sure before the end of the year 2018, we can see again an all time high for bitcoin, 20k $ ++
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any tips or suggestions for those who lost many coins? on: February 17, 2018, 01:07:31 PM
I heard that during that last dip of bitcoin ( 7k$ ) and other alts, many bitcoin investor lost so much because of panic selling thinking that they should cut their losses. Some wants to start over again with the money they got but I heard that some became really depressed and are now emotionally unstable. ( Not all ).

Any suggestion/good tips for them? Also, what we should do to handle these kinds of situations?
I am not currently an investor but I am looking to put some amount for bitcoin and hold it.

Know first if what are you entering, not just because other people tell you that in bitcoin you can make money. In crypto currency, there are time for a pump and also there is time for dump, so this is what they called it correction in value. For those investor who lost so much, do not make a mistake again by panic selling if you want to recover from lost.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ellen DeGeneres - on Bitcoin on: February 17, 2018, 11:23:42 AM
This is huge.  Actually, really huge.  Exposure doesn't get much bigger than this...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS2BMxeHsv8

We know how many audience in the most popular talk show ellen degeneres show, this is a free advertisement and exposure for bitcoin. Her some explanations are true because some people are not aware what is bitcoin, they just go with the flow even without having enough knowledge. I dont know if this will give bitcoin a positive or negative impact
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you keep safe BITCOIN? on: February 17, 2018, 05:08:22 AM
suggest some easy ways?

The safest way to keep bitcoin is using a hardware wallet. A ledger or trezor is recommended to use by others. Depends on how you will use your bitcoins, some people use blockchain.info wallet if you always use it in a transaction but if you are just holding it better keep it in a hardware wallet or paper wallet.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: February 16, 2018, 05:49:19 PM
Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

I think both, in 2017 both bitcoin and ethereum value increase a lot. In my wallet i own bitcoin and also ethereum because i believe that they are good for long term investment. Two is better than one right?Smiley Bitcoin and ethereum have both many big time investors and holder.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 16, 2018, 05:04:06 PM
After a long wait Bitcoin is rising up in charts.Do you think Bitcoin will finally hit 20K this month if its price increase rapidly? Roll Eyes

As long as bitcoin will continue increase, i dont care if it takes a lot of time. Its more better than a rapid increase then a big dump afterwards. We are all hoping that bitcoin will finally get back to its peak which is 20k$ ATH. For now lets wait if bitcoin can pass 10k $ and start to increase again Smiley
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I love this Bitcoin crash on: February 16, 2018, 01:20:18 PM
For sure all panic sellers of bitcoin last month are crying and having a regret not to hold because of the recent dump, they make a big mistake. And seems that bitcoin now is going to recover real quick soon. And those true bitcoin investor now is having a profit because they keep on buying at the time of dump.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Are Everywhere...Still Catching Them? on: February 15, 2018, 12:31:04 PM

Airdrops are everywhere every time I am opening my Twitter accounts (yes I got 4 accounts) and it can already be tiresome to participate with all of them because it is difficult to ascertain which of them will have value and which will just remain in the garbage din. I noticed that there are airdrops spread for the purpose of getting referrals to another airdrop...am sure you guys have seen this lately.

Without a good team behind, any project whether using airdrops or not, will just be nothing. A team with a good vision, plans and strategies can pull a coin up in value sooner or later.

Airdrops...airdrops...just a waste of time?

Airdrops nowadays are mostly no value and only few have been listed into an exchange and the rest are just a trash coin. Its just a waste of time but joining airdrop is only free so its up to you if you will continue to join an airdrop to try your luck in getting free money.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BEST EXCHANGE PLATFORM? on: February 15, 2018, 10:08:26 AM
YOBIT, CRYPTOPIA, BINANCE? WHICH ONE?HuhHuhHuh??

I think this topic belongs to trading discussion. Anyway, what coins are you going to trade? Depends on your coins because some coins are only available to a specific exchange. If that is available to binance exchange then that is the best exchanger among the three exchange you mention
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: February 14, 2018, 05:07:04 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.

Like what other people do, i simply hold some of my coins especially bitcoins and sometimes i do trading with my altcoin to get more profit. Sometimes when i need an urgent money, i will convert my crypto into fiat money to use in my daily expenses and emergency purpose.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here comes the CHINESE NEW YEAR! on: February 14, 2018, 03:37:22 PM
So, what would be the effect of Chinese New Year in the market on Feb 6? Any thoughts? Is it big deal?

You got typo, chinese new year is february 16. Anyway as i am seeing the market goes now since last week, its slowly climbing back on top now, already at 9000 $ ++ per bitcoin. I think it was a good signs and good vibes also for us believers that this might be the start of comeback.
