441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a beginner, I want to start trading. What should i do? on: October 08, 2017, 09:31:28 AM
Hello to everyone!
Thanks for reading my thread. Any tips and advice will be appreciated.

I have 0.5BTC and I'm not going to invest them in some risky moola because I think that in 2030 Bitcoin's price will be almost 500.000€/BTC.
I've read that trading with Altcoins can be a good strategy of investing to make more capital and hold.

But I'm completely new in this world.

1) What should I start?
2) Which platform should I use?
3) How can I analyze the Altcoins?
4) Auto or Manual?
5) From 1-10 how much is risks in trading Altcoins?

Thanks for your answer. If you have any other tips, suggestion, its highly appreciated.

Choose a legit trading exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex. Do a self study! There are so many available information here in forum or google about trading and the coins you will trade. Dont trade random shit coins because its very risky (9+) so it will be better if you trade the top 30 coins in coinmarketcap.com

444  Economy / Economics / Re: Dogecoin Petition for Amazon on: October 07, 2017, 05:07:19 PM
First steps to get coins as an accepted payment method at Amazon:

www.change.org/p/jeff-bezos-doge4amazon-accept-dogecoin-as-a-payment-method

This will be nice if petition for dogecoin as payment method will be successful. An alt coin will be recognize in the world and they will also accept some cryptos like ethereum, litecoin and monero. If the amazon will accept it for sure other online seller and platform will also accept alt coin cryptos as a payment method for purchase.
445  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph Customer Service on: October 07, 2017, 10:53:55 AM
Just wondering if there are any guys out there who recently encountered a problem on contacting their customer supports? A day ago I've cashed out just to use it personally. Knowing that the code (I use the cardless ATM option) usually arrives in mere minutes, I immediately drove to the nearest ATM in our area, but lo and behold. I stood there for a good 20 minutes but no code. Tried to resend a new code but still nothing comes in on my phone; no text, no anything, so I decided to call their hotline but no one answers.

Tried to chat them in the app but nothing.

Posted in their FB page (I created an fb account just for that) and still no response.

After standing and waiting there for an hour, finally the code arrived, and their customer support came back to me after I informed them that the problem is fixed.

For a service like them, having a live chat would be necessary, and someone should answer the damn hotline if someone is calling.

Just my two cents and a not so good experience. They've always been A+ for me but apparently their customer support team right now is pretty sloppy. Has anyone experienced the same issue lately?

I also encounter that problem with atm cardless cashout. When i cashout my money from coinsph to cardless. I waited for about 2 days for code and it not come. I tried to reach their costumer support but they are missing in action. Eventually that was saturday and by monday there will be a holiday. After a week they refund my money back to my coinsph and i use the cebuana remittance cashout instead.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 07, 2017, 09:52:35 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?

that will be good for you if you have a regular income in fiat. It will be more profitable if you convert your fiat into bitcoin. But question is where will you get the money if something unexpected happen like in an emergency? If your purpose for converting is to invest your money just remember the golden rules "just invest what you can afford to lose"

448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most used exchanges these days? on: October 07, 2017, 06:56:31 AM
I was around a good time ago and traded at this point, I used to know Poloniex and would trade on it religiously. I don't really know what are the biggest exchanges at the moment and the most trusted ones, I've heard there are some problems that people have voiced with Poloniex and some other exchanges.

Anyone want to share the ones they use with feedback that they have with it?

Thanks

Most of my trade come from bittrex platform. I am very comfortable using this for my trading with the help of blockfolio app to check my altcoins price.
Here is my top picks for trading website
Bittrex.com
Binance.com
Liqui.io
The exchanges from etherdelta is my last pick for this one because i find it hard using their website.
449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: October 07, 2017, 05:56:08 AM
We know that Bittrex and Poloniex are the most sought after exchangers.
But I want to know which one is best to trade? and I want to know why.
Thanks.  Wink

I am using bittrex as my exchanger for my alt coins and i dont find any problem using their platform. They already offer 190+ crypto currency coins.Bittrex exchange only required minimal deposit  unlike other exchanges that need at least 5 or 10 dollar in order to start. Everytime you have a trading they only get a 0.25% commission and its pretty small fee than others.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar (STR) what do you think? on: October 07, 2017, 02:11:17 AM
Stellar coins is always dancing with market price graph. I dont see any reason for stellar to increase a high price, after a bit for sure it will decrease its price again. Just wait for a dump again and go buy some stellar and sell it if goes high a bit afterward. Just dont hold it for a long term profit.

453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY OWNER IS HIDING on: October 06, 2017, 04:37:01 PM
Actually, I've been thinking about this for a long time now. Facts have it that Bitcoin was created by own Satoshi Nakamoto or so and since he did that he has gone underground and has been hidden. Now I'm wondering, I made an invention that is now worth so much money in the world and am still hiding, what could have been the reasons for his action??

Satoshi nakamoto is only the one who invent of bitcoin and there are group that really owned it.In my own opinion satoshi is hiding because he wants a simple life and avoid threat with his life and his family because people think he is so rich because of the bitcoin. Who will wants a miserable life? no one right?
454  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how to send 1000 satoshi payment? on: October 06, 2017, 02:58:58 PM
What's the easiest way to send small 1000 satoshi payment?

There is no easy way to send that because if you only send 1000 satoshi your fee will be much higher than the satoshi that you will send. And also the time of confirmation will be a problem for that transaction. It will be better if you just keep it and use another cryptocurrency like ethereum, litecoin or dogecoin.

457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: October 05, 2017, 10:08:33 AM
I can earn more money with bitcoin, but bitcoin is not so stable but my job is. I earn some money per month so Im fine with that. Im also earning some from Bitcoins thats extra for me.

I would prefer to focus all in Bitcoin, because now it is rising, but i want also not to lose my job.

Having a job with a stable income is much more needed. Dont quit your job as you can have a regular work + your work here in earning bitcoins.

Now I prefer to quit my main job and choose bitcoin, bitcoin has changed my life for the better
I prefer bitcoin as my main job and must be my main salary

Are your earning in bitcoin is more than your salary? We cant always depend on bitcoin as we not know when will bitcoin last.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 dollars into a million on: October 05, 2017, 08:23:19 AM
not all people will be lucky enough to be a millionaire by just investing or buying coins and then wait a couple of years and hope that the coin value will multiply x100 or more. Day by day icos number are increasing and some of them is born and turned to be scam. The poor investor left behind and the owner run away with the money invested.
