141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: March 14, 2018, 05:48:42 PM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

I dont think it will happen to be more strict, many bounty participants to promote the ICO will leads to more exposure of their ICOs to investors. As long as they are doing their work. You can still join bounty campaign as many as you want like social media campaign, telegram campaign and translation campaign.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: March 14, 2018, 05:11:36 AM
Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.

Yes i borrowed before in my best friend to try in investing in bitcoin and ethereum, but its just a small amount by trying if it will grow after a couple of months. After 2 months my bitcoin value has been doubled and i already pay the money that i borrow to my friend. After that he also buy crypto.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment? on: March 10, 2018, 11:26:21 PM
If you tell your friends and family about Bitcoin without giving them any sort of in-depth financial advice and they go ahead and invest, how do you deal with it when the market dips very low and they silently blame you for losing them money.

If you tell them about investing bitcoin but you do not tell them the high volatility of crypto and the high risk involve then it was right for them to blame you. And if that happen, the only thing you can do is to support them and tell them that holding is the best thing to do at time of dip.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best Alt-coin you can suggest to a newbie? on: March 10, 2018, 05:22:52 PM
Hello there,

I've never invested in crypto before, been doing a bit of google search and stuff but the articles I've read seem to be very "PR-ish" and don't feel legit. I was suggested to come to this forum on Reddit. What Crypto do you suggest me to look into investing for the first time?

Thanks in advance!

You better stick with bitcoin since you are only a newbie in crypto investment. Or if you want to invest in an altcoin, you have to make your own research and studies about the coin you will invest. Not all altcoin are worth for investment so you must choose very carefully if you are going to invest.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How effective are bitcoin trading bots? on: March 10, 2018, 04:17:38 PM
How effective are bitcoin trading bots? I read a review on google where a person claimed that he turned 300$ into 50000$ in one year using bitcoin trading bot (i can't remember the name of the bot).

There are trading bot that is legit and not, for the legit bot you have to pay a monthly fee for the subscription and i think its worth it for the profit of the bot will give to you but dont expect a very high profit. In my trading, i dont use bots because it will just ruined the trading market industry.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn $ 15.000 for two days? on: March 10, 2018, 12:15:27 PM
I've always wondered how people make big money without effort. I've heard that airdrops can help me with this, so found several channels with lists of airdrops. How do you think it is worth starting? Are there any pitfalls in this matter? Any advises?

Well its a good source of extra money in an airdrop but legit airdrop now are very rare and some of them are scam. You must be lucky to get a good amount of airdrop. There is no pitfall in airdrop as long as you are not going to invest or not giving your private info like private key or password in their registration form.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Saving for your Children Bitcoin vs Cash? on: March 10, 2018, 10:50:42 AM
Like every parents want to leave something for children for their future.

Which investment is safe?

Bitcoin?
Stocks?
Real Estate?

3 is better than 1, so i will invest to all of them for the future of my childrens and family. I will separate my money to bitcoin, stocks and real estate investment. If something bad happen to bitcoin? i still have real estate investment and stocks and vice versa. Dont put all eggs in one basket.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After 3 months, what do you have? on: March 10, 2018, 06:01:48 AM
Since I joined the crypto market. My gain is zero. I only have experiences and lessons. Does that have been called successful? Huh  Undecided

Since when do you joined? If that is just a month ago, then you can called yourself successful because an experience and lessons is the key to have a good decision, in investing and making profit. If you joined several years ago and you gain nothing, ask yourself because there is something wrong with you.

150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ❗ Attention Binance users ❗ on: March 08, 2018, 04:40:23 PM
So this is why you should never hold coins for long in an exchange. If there is something bad happen in an exchange like phising or the exchange getting attack by hacker, you will be sorry for your coins. I hope this is just a false alarm and the problem be fix asap because i know binance is such a good exchange.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 08, 2018, 01:16:05 PM
I saw in cryptocurrency market every coin value going down, let's talk something now about future cryptocurrency.

I think that its just normal that coins value is going down in the market, its always happening just like the last february that almost all coins goes down. Theres no need to worry, a good thing to do now is buy another coins again and have more patience and wait for another pump coins season Smiley
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Yobit - Crypto-exchange | Experience and imho on: March 07, 2018, 05:49:03 PM
This is one of my most hatest exchange because of so many issues i had face when i use this exchange a year ago. I know im not the only one who also complain about those missing coin deposit and poor support of yobit. I suggest not to use yobit exchange if you dont want your coins to be stolen
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunity to sell for bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 04:40:52 PM
I was wondering, if you had an opportunity to sell your stuff alike cars, pc, homethings and etc., would you sell it for bitcoin (or maybe other altcoin)? The main question is to see, are you ready trade stuff for cryptocurrencies and how do you imagine it?

No! i cant sell my properties for the sake of getting bitcoin or other altcoins. I know my limits in investing or trading, maybe there is also a chance of getting more profit for selling properties, but im also looking into a downside if i lose my investment. Im good with my earned coins here and partial money in my pocket.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I would rather have paper money then Bitcoin on: March 07, 2018, 02:51:01 PM
This is going to come to a surprise to many on here, but at the moment I'd rather have paper (US FIAT) money. It's something that I would be able to actually use in my life with ease, and even though I love crypto and everything I have to be honest about what I think and see.

Plus for the fact that if i was to have bitcoin right now, I'd be paying a very high amount in fees if I wanted to actually end up using this money.

Fiat money is being used by everybody in our everyday life for transaction, bitcoin is an alternative payment method for sending/receiving transactions online and still only few know how to use it. Bitcoin can be use for a long term investment by just holding it in your wallet unlike fiat money which is fix value.
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange accounts on: March 06, 2018, 04:36:59 PM
Hello guys,
I hope you are doing well.

I have a question regarding exchange accounts.

Which one of the top exchanges don't need verification to trade on them?
How about binance, I can see that they allow up to 2 BTC withdrawal every day, without verification; Is it true?
Based on your experience, which exchange do you recommend for trading without verification?

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best Regards.

There are still lots of exchange who does not necessary need to verify your account to trade. Binance and kucoin are those two new promising exchange with high volume trade. Im using them both exchanger and i do not face any kind of problem using this two exchange.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade with alt ? on: March 06, 2018, 09:40:31 AM
Why alt coins are good for trade ? why not bitcoin ?

Because there are some altcoins with good projects and visions that they think will boost up the value of the coin so that they will get some profit. Altcoins are more affordable to buy than bitcoin, so meaning there are big rooms for the value to multiply. But you have to choose the coin you will going to buy very carefully.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best sources of information on: March 06, 2018, 06:06:40 AM
Where do you guys get your info from?  Like Twitter, PBC, coindesk articles, etc.  Always looking for new sources for research Smiley

Im looking to google, blogs, articles, several crypto related youtube channels and social media such as twitter and facebook for my sources of information in crypto currency and especially in this forum. Telegram groups and discord are also my choice but its only for making conversation with others about crypto.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto investing in the losses. How about you? on: March 03, 2018, 11:43:22 PM
Started my investing late dec 2017. Had lots of profit from tron n stellar but lost it all now. So far as of march im down $9000. I deposited my 2 month pay checks into crypto with all of it missing. I been trading rather than holding every since finding new info. But damn so much lost. Credit card down the hole too.

I believe in your guts, 9000$ is already a big lost in but its not time to give up now if you want to recover your loss. I can relate myself to you, when i was a beginner in crypto i also loss about 1k$ because of many mistakes i do. But now i am able to recover since i know how to handle my emotions and being patient all the time.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 03, 2018, 05:28:55 PM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

Do not store coins in an exchange if you are not going to trade it. There is a big chance for your coins to loss once the exchange is been hacked or having a big problem. Only put coins in exchange if you are going to trade it and withdraw it immediately in an external wallet that you hold the private keys once you are done trading.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: March 03, 2018, 04:34:17 PM
I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat.  I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune.  In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition.  From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc.  Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability.  What do you think?  Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?

As far as i know, yes bitcoin is still the best for long term investment. For the past 10 years of crypto currency existence, bitcoin are always on top and the main crypto being use by everybody. Despite of many negative issues and news about bitcoin, bitcoin is still standing and proving those haters that they are wrong.
