181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt coin can I invest? on: November 19, 2018, 05:01:58 AM
I would be looking at some of the established coins that have been hardest hit by the 2018 Bear Market, meaning coins such as NEO, OMG, EOS, ADA, XLM, XMR etc. These coins are likely to rebound strongly when the market begins to recover.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: November 18, 2018, 06:30:44 AM
Clearly, the market has not recovered and is still struggling through an almost year-long Bear market phase. You need to look at the longer-term picture and 1 or 2 up days have not marked the end of the Bear. I suspect we will need to remain patient and am hoping for the green shoots of a recovery during Quarter 1 - 2019.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs now are asking for too much on: November 18, 2018, 06:28:03 AM
Sorry I don't agree with you $10m is not really a huge amount of money to launch a new global business, you don't seem to have much experience of the costs involved in setting things up, they are not running a cafe or a corner shop. These funds need to support them for 12 - 24 months and there is a huge amount of travel involved especially taking part in the Blockchain events.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: November 17, 2018, 07:52:35 AM
Every month is a month for crypto, so what I am guessing you are really asking is will there be a Bull run from October through December? In short NO not this year, need to hold onto what you have right now and make plans for a recovery in 2019.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in a new ICO. on: November 16, 2018, 05:25:10 AM
I have been investing in ICO for around 16 months now and my experience from 2018 has been to leave them well alone. Virtually every ICO has flopped with in terms of reaching their Hardcap targets (some not even making softcap) or with their performance once launching on the exchanges. I do have high hopes for ShareRing (SHR) to deliver a profitable project mainly because they are experienced and seasoned business professionals and have a working product prior to the ICO.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if every country has its own crypto currency on: November 16, 2018, 05:16:19 AM
If that were to be the case then what would the incentive be for anyone from one country owning coins from another country? trade would be mostly flat. This sounds like just replacing every individual FIAT with an individual crypto and in the current day and age spending crypto as a replacement for cash is not yet practical.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 ETH where to invest on: November 15, 2018, 07:25:33 AM
I would stay away from the ICO sector at the moment it just seems like a sure fire way to halve your stakes. My advice would be to invest in a few of the top 50 coins from coinmarketcap and sit back and wait for a full-scale recovery and the next bull phase. With them having been decimated by almost 90% it will be easy to make 2 or 3 times your investment when confidence returns.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: November 14, 2018, 05:47:19 AM
No, it was not the end for Ethereum it was just the bottom of a really severe Bear market. Ethereum is still by far and away the most useful of the current coins being used to fund most ICO projects, as a launch pad for other tokens with the ERC-20 protocols and as a simple exchange of value peer to peer.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the perfect Cryptocurrency? on: November 14, 2018, 05:45:00 AM
I think that the most perfect crypto I have seen to date is ShareRing (SHR) they are a coin that will use blockchain to support a real-world business rather than being a crypto project trying to make it as a business. Their coins will validate on a Leased Proof of Stake model giving everyone access to the returns available from Masternodes. They have a sustainable business and potential for hundreds of thousands of transactions per day which will help the value to grow over time.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has begun to show positive trends on: November 13, 2018, 09:20:05 AM
I thought Ethereum had been absolutely crucified during the 3rd quarter of 2018 dropping down to levels not seen for over 14 months previous. I would think it had a lot to do with ICO projects cashing out to preserve capital and the snowball effect continued all the way down to $156. Hoping to see ETH back over $300 when the market turns and then progress from there.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: November 13, 2018, 09:16:23 AM
Only 6 weeks left of 2018 and we have never fallen below the strong support level of $6,100 for more than a day or so, and I would venture to say we will remain around the current range for the remainder of 2018.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be put to an end? on: November 12, 2018, 05:41:47 AM
No I do not think ICO's should be abolished as per your original question. Why would you deny some fantastic future projects on the basis that are currently a lot? They are not all currency based some of them are simply companies with real products choosing an alternative way of raising funding.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 11, 2018, 06:21:47 AM
Been a shocking year for trying to trade your way to profits as everything really just moving sideways, a little up then a little down and repeating. Better just to sit on what you have and wait things out taking the opportunity to average down when it comes around. I am biding my time and waiting for the next Bull phase rather than sell at losses now.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for selling NEO on: November 11, 2018, 06:10:41 AM
Looking at the OP I would think the only way your strategy would have paid off would have been to put the money into USD or Tether and then reinvest into the altcoins in September as everything else dropped just as badly as NEO. Otherwise, you would have just swapped one underperformer for another and missed out on your GAS payments.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Organized crime in bounties... on: November 10, 2018, 07:05:33 AM
Really? wake up your dreaming!! not worth the effort the rewards are far too low for any self-respecting Boss to waste his time on a few dollars for 2 months work.
Can you quote up who are you waking for that post? Such a cut comment of yours, and of course, all of the bounty hunters are very upset and disappointed on a few dollars only. But it does not mean we need to stop doing bounty hunting, as I can see on yourself ( your account ) that you are continue to wear avatar and signature from a crypto project. That's why the author do this thread to encourage all of us to report those shady works of others, such a dirty people who want to take advantage of others. We need to do an alternative solution on this issue.

I was referring to the OP not yours by the way. I think it is ridiculous to speculate that organised crime is going to be bothered to try and scam a few dollars from bounty campaigns that take 2 - 3 months of collection. The rest of us are picking up tiny amounts from our efforts but my hope is that they will flourish in the next Buill phase.

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee tattoos skycoin, will this create fomo on: November 09, 2018, 04:53:10 AM
John McAfee has Zero credibility in my book, anyone stupid enough to proclaim he will eat his own Member if Bitcoin has not reached $1 million by 2020 so 25 months and counting until JM becomes androgynous then  Grin
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of NEO on: November 08, 2018, 05:09:41 AM
NEO was doing really nicely at the start of the year trading over $100 per coin, then along with the majority of the altcoins was hit with 80 - 90% losses during the Bear market. I am waiting to see if there is a strong recovery in the market in early 2019 which will enable me to regain some lost value on NEO and a bunch of other coins, although I have taken this opportunity to average down with most of my portfolio.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much EOS do you hold? on: November 08, 2018, 04:46:03 AM
I am holding 500 EOS, I had almost a 1,000 at one time I sold half of them at a 300% profit originally then watched it climb to $20 and was ruing my hasty decision. Sold another small batch at $17 so what I have now is all free and clear coins with no cost to me. Lot's of airdrops coming from EOS at the present time so happy to sit on what I have and wait for the market to start to recover next year hopefully.
200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY, how it works? on: November 07, 2018, 09:05:57 AM
I think that your best options for Bounty would be here on Bitcointalk wearing a Signature and participating with that bounty. Often the Signature bounty is the largest share of the bounty program. After that, I would suggest working with content creation either writing and posting articles or if you have the equipment and skills creating video content to promote the project or the ICO.
