181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: April 26, 2018, 02:42:21 PM
It is true that it is really hard to choose which ICO is a good one. With so many projects are being launched, we cannot review them all. It is really time-consuming. There are websites that can help you with that. Type in google search, "ICO hotlist 2018". Many websites you'll see that suggest their best pick ICOs. With that, you can now review them. Review the project that you think is doable in the future and the team behind it. With that, you'll know if the project is really solid.

Only 2 months just passed after you purchase your coins. Cryptocurrency world has a long way journey and you won't see the full development in just a short period of time. This is a good long-term investment. Just be patient. By the end of this year, you'll never regret what you have taken the risk.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 26, 2018, 07:50:52 AM
The government is very concerned about the problem of control over cryptocurrencies. Hardly do they have an established scheme that allows them to knowing your KYC data to track your transactions and movement on your accounts. I hope they don't show up. State control has long choked people and does not give a chance to remain anonymous and earn. Cryptocurrencies are our chance!

KYC is also being used by many ICO but I think it is not a permanent solution. There are many ways whereby people can bypass or cheat the KYC by providing the wrong information. and as far as government concern to control the digital currency, it will simply not gonna happen with KYC or any other method.
Yes maybe it's just a procedure for developers to create an ICO project so they can get permission from the local government or whatever to create an ICO project. Because we know the ICO project has been very unsettling for investors who have been deceived. So it's possible that KYC is just a priority for developers.

That's right. In order for a certain project to launch their ICO, they should pass the legal requirements of the government. KYC is very important to the government so that each investor are being verified. This process is for the AML Law.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: April 26, 2018, 04:49:10 AM
Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!
People know, some of them just can't control it, that's why it's called panic and govs are counting on that. Also not everyone can afford holding BTC, while it's dropping, even though they know it'll increase someday and they're losing the game by doing so, they need their money rn.

Yeah. Some people sell their Bitcoin because they just don't want to lose more or maybe they want to secure their profit and want to buyback again when it dips. They want to go with the flow. Because of the volatility of Bitcoin, it's easy to make a short profit.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: April 25, 2018, 11:37:33 AM
All above mentioned are all true. In fact, they are the solid advantages of Bitcoin. What I like most about Bitcoin is the pure anonymity and decentralized. Meaning to say, no individual, entity, or even the government will ever have control of your bitcoins. They cannot freeze your account or trace your identity. This is what most of us want, freedom of our wealth.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: The market started looking green today. on: April 25, 2018, 05:33:09 AM
I now feel bull run is already coming. Even though it's not like the price last year's 4th quarter, still the growth of almost all of the coins are different from last year's 2nd quarter. I am so glad that cryptocurrency is slowly getting better and almost everybody is now considering to adopt the technology.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: April 19, 2018, 11:37:35 PM
Not only Bitcoin but the whole cryptocurrency market. Because they give us a new way to earn up to millions. I've seen so many people who are millionaires now because of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Thanks to the people who started this revolution.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: April 19, 2018, 10:53:28 PM
That's my problem too if ever I got millions to cash out. The government will definitely know if a certain person cashes out with that huge amount, so better divide it to people you trust. You'll send them money so that they will cash it out for you.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: April 17, 2018, 09:36:57 PM
They just say it because they do not know what Bitcoin is and the true value of Bitcoin. For me, Bitcoin is better than Gold in the long run. Yes, they may both have limited supply. But Bitcoin has more of use in the future than Gold. Because Gold can be replaced by silver, but can never be replaced by any other coins.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: April 17, 2018, 05:15:55 AM
I think people are just too eager to earn, thinking that crypto will make them instant millionaires with a short period of time. Most of them are just beginners who don't know much about crypto yet they invested because they saw that people are earning big time. For me, holding is still the best strategy especially when you are holding potential coins.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: April 17, 2018, 03:42:38 AM

Right now I am starting to feel like this is just a way to make money. Nothing more nothing less. You buy into btc or other coins and in no way are you really supporting the project, besides maybe adding to the order books at the exchanges with some minor effect until whales decided to take over. I sometimes have some sort of dishonest feeling, like the money I make through buying (and seldom) selling is somehow dirty as it comes from people that simply do less research, bail out or simply already had their take.

I started with high feelings of morality, being part of some new future where block chain would be the next internet. Right now it feels like a rat race where you have to grab as much money as possible before others take it before you or from you.

Not that I am ungrateful. I like many projects because of the team behind it that actually want to change the world. But if I look around me, it is mostly those that are in it to make money, a lot of money....and this money has to come from somewhere right (those that lose money)...

What is your take on this? Is this all a phase, part of how this game works?

Yes, this is just another way to earn money. That's the game works here right now. Because Blockchain and Bitcoin have just started and the world still on the acceptance and adoption phase, we are in the speculation process. But then, the objectives of cryptocurrency is very clear. They want to make big changes that will help our world to become a better place.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Initial Coin Offering on: April 11, 2018, 09:53:55 PM
This sounds great! If this is played right, this can possibly bring in real estate investors to investing in crypto because this coin would protect their house renovation/repairing budget from fraudsters and low rate contractors. Thanks for the post, I'll definitely research this further.
Would you want to have platform like Bob’s in your place too? I really wish we also have like this in my country where every contractor, carpenter, plumber, electrician, technicians take advantage of their clients need. Just because clients have no other choices so they take advantage of it.
Yes of course! In my country, it is hard to call a skilled workers in urgent. Usually, most of the carpenters here in my town are incapacitated to repair the house properly. Sometimes there are damage in their work because they are lack of skills, they only know the basic. Not to degrade them but this is really what happens in my town.
In Bob's repair, clients has assurance that the skilled workers have expertise on their work. They can easily manage if there are troubleshoot and aware of the unnecessary damage.
Lol! They are not just unskilled they are also skilled thieves. My personal experience tells me this. They offered to buy the materials needed and they took the money with out coming back. This is because they are not known poeple to us.
I think happened because you trusted them too much. That is also the problem if there is no legal agency or platform like bob’s ho holds personal information of the contractors for the protection of the costumers or clients.

Why did you accept their offer? Without guarantee? Yeah, it seems you trusted them too much without checking their credentials.

I think the reason why there are scenarios like this is that the customer needs the repair badly and can't wait for someone who has the ability. A well-known carpenter may have so much project and they will reject your offer even you want to pay him more. One more thing is that you want a cheaper service fee even though you don't know the contractor. And everything of your concern was already resolved by Bob's Repair.

YES that is what exactly the words I've been looking for to describe how cool the project of bob is an in demand call for repairs that you can be sure because of its past transactions and feedbacks for both parties.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair Powered by Steem [AIRDROP LIVE] [Token Sale April 4th] on: April 11, 2018, 03:13:54 PM
Awesome way to let the people about whole project and idea behind this how it was started in less than 4 minutes video. I appreciate this videao because made my search really easy after watching this I don't feel need of looking for other information to make my mind for investment. A project of two brothers to bring ease in lives of many great cause at the same time.
I also viewed that 4 minutes animated video by Bob's repair. I understood easily the way it works in the video I'd watched. However, the whitepaper gave me a deeper understanding in the Bob's repair plus their are additional information found in their WP.
Yes they just want to eliminate the 3rd party provider and with the help blockchain it's more way secure, efficiency and transparent. The two bro's are doing well on their project. Pretty sure we will reach the hardcap!

Yes, we will! The video was really simple yet informative. It was really created for us to understand well the real concept of Bob's Repair project. The video is also easy to share to those who really don't want to read Whitepaper with many pages. This is really a good teaser. Once you've watched it, we really want to know more about Bob's Repair.

Its the brief explanation of bob's repair whitepaper its not explain there in detail but you will easily understand what bob's repair is and how it operates and influence the people and the market.

A total of 10,089 Ethereum has been sold from the ICO!
better than 9k+ yesterday. this just state that the ICO of bob is always moving.
With this numbers we can tell that they are above 1/3 of hardcap.
Way to go, just remember tomorrow is the day with Dallas.

Bob's Repair is really doing a great sales, theres still lots of time to reach the hardcap, and the Dallas event with be another way to present to more potential investors. Everything is based now on how they will market Bob's repair in the public to gain more investors. Wish Bob's repairs whole team the best and success.

I also think that Bob repair will succeed in the long run because the service industry is becoming in demand now and the years to come, so this can strongly support the field of bob repair giving them big profits and many customers.

There are records that can support this claim that Service industry, In the whitepaper of Bob's repair they have provided there a graph showing the growth of labor workers from 2001-2015 and base on the Bureau of Labor Statistics, that it will still grow by 14% for electricians, 7% for other trades, 13% in plumbers projected until 2024.

Believe me the whole crypto currency will transform the world we see right now from paper works we are heading to all digital bob repair want that to happen and they took the initiative to offer the public a convenient way of providing repairs that will make the customers satisfied from the service that they are paying for.

because of the blockchain technology we can monitor the list of records that secured using cryptography that can eliminate fraud in all companies. just like the bob's repair will do they will bring the records of past contractors, the price of the materials so that consumers will know if the contractors will give them overprice of the service or the materials. this kind of project will bring trust to all contractors.

people and the industry want that kind of service and anyone who wants to engage some contracts do demand transparency so everything can be fair and clean that's, bob's team foresaw this kind of demand from its past history in providing home repair service in the US so they want to have some upgrade with the help of the blockchain it can be possible knowing it have many room for improvements.

Bob’s Repair is the solution to review fraud, hidden costs due to advertising fees, and inflated prices due to lack of pricing transparency.  It simply uses Blockchain Technology to connect contractors directly to consumers which make it easier for them to do business. The transparency is also the key why the said problems were resolved.

the is the catch now!! if only people would see how good the potential of blockchain to cause disruptive change to make the work a lot easier faster and more efficient it will transform our traditional way of doing our business and what bob's repair is doing is exactly like that the team whats to offer service that can give the people what they want in their home repairs whereas they can see the breakdown of cost and feedback of past customers in the contractors they are dealing with.

198  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: April 09, 2018, 04:31:20 AM
I've done that before. I am just a beginner and do not know much about the movement of the crypto market. So when I saw my portfolio and started to lose, I was so afraid that I might get lose all my investment. The hard part of being a newbie is that you don't know when to buy and you end up buying at the high entry point.

Nothing wrong quitting your job. Nothing wrong focusing here in crypto. Nothing wrong doing both jobs at the same time. It's all up to you. As long as don't lose both jobs. Because we need to earn for our daily lives. Smiley
