181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: June 17, 2020, 06:51:15 AM
With the development of the economy, BTC is now gaining more and more attention, and it is not disappointed by the people who chose it. From being questioned at the beginning, to a large number of people investing now, it has become a popular investment product. I first learned that BTC was recommended to me by my friend W (who was the administrator of the Monetary Authority) at that time, and let me also invest, but I thought it was a hype May be cheated (this has become a big pity for me). Later, I started investing in 2013, when I bought 100 BTC and sold it at the price of 16,000 in 2017. Now my friend W has recommended a new cryptocurrency to me. Should I invest?

I want to strongly believe to some extent that, from your first investment in 2013 till now, you must have gathered some experience on investment.  So you can make some research and come out with some quality decision on which coin to invest even if you were introduced to it.  Investing in new projects nowadays is very dangerous though not all of them, but it's only about 3 out of 100 new projects that really make it.  There are numerous developers nowadays who just want to gather some dollars from investors and run away.  This has really jeopardized the advent of the newly genuine projects from attracting investors.  So do some findings about any new projects you want to invest in.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spread hopes, help the fallen to stand on their feet once again on: June 17, 2020, 06:36:23 AM
Sometimes hope can be something very hard to grab on for those who have lost alot in crypto space, I need some good vibe (encouragement) from people who have really lost it all in crypto space and make more later than what they've lost before, share me your sad to happy stories ( from grass to grace ). Who knows? We could be helping those who thoughts it's the end for them.

I know if everyone is giving a chance, there will be one or two experience to share whether horrible or sweet, and this is our day to day activities not even in crypto space alone.  In time like that, we need to be optimistic about it and forge ahead.
I could remember in late 2017 when I invested in Omisego, the worth of my investment then was around $1500. Because I didn't need money I decided to leave it in my wallet for some time, however market dumped and at the end of the day I only got about $200.  I have to give myself hope that I need to learn and move forward.  Whatever the situation might look like, let's learn from it and move forward.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters United we stand on: June 14, 2020, 12:57:54 PM
I think it's time for bounty hunters to start claiming their right on this forum, I'm talking about bounties that wants hundreds to thousands participants on their spreadsheet but plan to pay bounty hunters 5$ each for their 8month work, this is getting more ridiculous every day, IQ cash bounty is over and with the current price per token you will be lucky to earn 10$ to 20$, if no one is ready to stand by me I will stand for myself, what I want is

Fixed bounty allocation or
Limited bounty participants

We can't keep helping new projects for pennies, we should take actions

This is so painful honestly, and it has been been for a while now.  Some bounties pay meager amount while some did not even pay at all for works of several weeks.  I think we need to be highly selective in the kind of bounties we join.  The bitter truth is that, hardly will you find a medium to high paying bounties now, very few.  So it is better to search carefully and find that only one bounty that rewards our efforts than participating in multiples that amount to waste of resources.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 14, 2020, 11:26:58 AM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.

Hmm...it's true that some trusted projects have disappointed a lot.  A friend of mine hold some trusted coins worth $10,000 back then in 2017/2018.  Unfortunately because of the trust he had that those projects have good future, it later turned out otherwise.  He only realized less than $2000 when he finally sold those coins.  Not all long term holdings are bad, some of them have turned some into millionaires.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Extortion Attempt on: June 13, 2020, 12:22:04 PM
Crypto Extortion Attempt

All users please be wary of the following extortion activities being attempted by this individual:
Clayborn Stubson   <kivberyleyl@outlook.com>

uses crypto address - 1LdVsxHTqGuN2vdKMk4YiUDKchR4cmwQ for deposits obtained from his unwitting victims.

He sends you an e-mail with a grouping of image.png snippings in which he claims to have been monitoring your digital activity on your computer, including any Facebook and smartphone communications for a designated lengthy period of time, and he then threatens to expose all activities through various forums, regardless of their nature.

He demands that $2,000 USD in Bitcoin (BTC) be deposited into the detailed account within 24 hours otherwise he will post all information through several different forums and other outlets.

This person has been reported to the FBI Chicago branch office - Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) as well as other Federal agencies.

Please do not use the crypto address provided above for any illegal activities (like hacking it and draining the account) as that would not be nice, although very well-deserved.

Scammers are just full everywhere hoping to take advantage of the ignorant ones.  Couple of weeks ago, I received an mail promising to help me fast track my withdrawing processing on one exchange that is going into extinction.  He asked me to send some amount of Bitcoin to him.  Immediately I knew he was a scammer.  We just have to be more careful because scammers device different means everyday.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Wallet APP that supports any ERC20 TOKENS on: June 13, 2020, 11:57:26 AM
Wallet App that supports ERC-20  are just so numerous, the choice of the one to use actually depend on individual or purpose.  If you're looking for wallet App that supports ERC-20 token alone, then you can opt for imToken, then if it is the App that supports ERC-20 tokens and other tokens, then you can use Trust Wallet, and so on.

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [AIRDROP] $2500 tokens Dfinity on: June 12, 2020, 12:57:41 PM
How will I be stressing myself on top airdrop of $2500-$5000 where participants can be up to 10000. It doesn't make any sense, it will just amount to vain work.  I would prefer sleeping than taking this kind of airdrop.  No hard feelings anyway, just saying my opinion
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending 130$ , with a transaction fee of million ! on: June 12, 2020, 12:42:49 PM
Apparently today at 4 , a millionaire who was holding Millions in his wallet (ETH) just sent out 130$ to an address but yeah with a fee of 2.6 million Dollars !

I know this is not related to Bitcoins therefore I apologize in advance if the topic has to be moved. But what's related to us is this ridiculous transaction fee !

Why do you think this happened?

1. The guy was for sure High or Drunk
2. The guy wanted to make some miners lucky , this time it was a company located in China

https://www.coindesk.com/whale-sent-130-ether-transaction-fee

The guy is still a millionaire and does hold a lot . Does that mean they were trying to support the Mining community by giving out pre-christmas present for them ? Or is it something he did and will realize later .

A generous offer by the same company states that : if it was indeed a mistake they might help the guy in recovering some amount.

What I wanted to talk about is :
Why only this company?
Isn't it fishy , because back something like same happened with them and they did split up 50/50 with the sender .

Is it possible that they are somehow regulating these things ? Has the Mining industry starting involving themselves in scams ? But then again something doesn't add up here .

I was shocked too when I read this in a couple of days ago.  Is the person sleeping or didn't have the time to check the transaction fees because he has a lot in his wallet.  Whichever way it may be, it was a very costly mistake, perhaps if the money is not refundable.  The support team has actually promised to return the money after proper verification, let's see how it goes.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust Wallet Token discussion. on: June 10, 2020, 09:22:15 AM
Trust Wallet is the famous and most downloaded wallet right now. Everybody knows they've already issued their BEP2 based utility token Trust Wallet Token (TWT). They recently distributed tokens from referral campaign. Almost 63.5K holder currently holding their TWT tokens. I've also received my referral earnings.

What your perception on TWT token? What will be the probable value when Binance list TWT token?

UPDATE

Trustwallet TWT token is currently listed on 5 exchanges with 9 market pairs. The following exchanges list the TWT token,
1. MXC
2. Biki
3. Hotbit
4. Bilaxy
5. Hoo.com

See more details here: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/trust-wallet-token#markets

Keep in mind this listing are unofficial. There is no such listing announcement found or given from developers.

I participated in the trust wallet token airdrop and I got 3400TWT. I decided to hold it expecting when it will be listed on Binance exchange.  However I was surprised when I saw the listing on one of the very low rank exchange.  I was wondering how could this have happened, a friend was now telling me it could be self listing, that it is possible for one to list coins on his own having access to contract address especially on some small exchanges.  I don't know if this token will still be listed on Binance as promised.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Watch out for the following on: June 10, 2020, 08:22:01 AM
Newbies like myself be warned, don't make crypto decisions because of the following, they are very misleading and extremely danger to your money

1. Crypto Analysts predictions
2. Hyped projects by billionaires or known people e.g McAfee
3. Going into futures and margin trading when you haven't even mastered normal trading

Seek for answers and you shall find, knowledge is power

There are just many things to learn as a newbie in any business.  Knowledge is very important for a successful stay in anything.  To base decision on hype or some predictions as a newbie may be disastrous.  It's better to seek quality knowledge first and start very small to gather experience, and this forum is a very good place to gather knowledge from experienced forum members.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: June 09, 2020, 02:03:55 PM
Bounty Detective Community is a bounty group that is currently popular because many bounties managed by this group (maybe) their performance is better, so there are many projects that he wants to manage.

Do you think that this bounty group will continue to manage the campaign for the future? Yeah, I think so.

Some bounties that in my opinion are best managed by him.

HACKEN.AI
EARNBET
BASIC FINANCE
IOI
GAIMIN
HEX Distributed
CNBD

Currently there are still many bounties that are ongoing, which means that the management is the best.

I just got to know about bounty detective recently and I really love the quality and popularity of the projects they are managing.  One of the their advantages is that, if you participate in bounties handled by them, then your payment is very sure, they have integrity.  However, there is no one that is perfect.  Bounty detective play host to long term bounties, payment is sure, though takes very long time at time and because they handle many bounties at a time, updating spreadsheet and attending to the complains of bounty participants takes a lot of time.  The crux of the matter is, I have assurance of reward payment participating in their bounties than some others.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Project gets 10,000 KYC on: June 09, 2020, 07:48:38 AM
Hi all , we need 10000 KYC completed users for our project , How can we do that..Huh Give your suggessions

Well, nothing is impossible anyway.  It really depends on the authenticity and the prospects in your project if you will get that amount of KYC docs.  The challenge is that, it will be very hard to get, now when scam projects are just flying around or else there will be a lot of false or fake documents.  But if the project is awesome, and managed by trusted BM and the team, then it's possible people are motivated to do many KYC.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: June 07, 2020, 07:51:23 PM
It is no coincidence that a technology that facilitates a lot of illegal practices is the technology that is have troubles gaining approval from world governments.

I read a recent publication that says, According to CipherTrace: Thefts, scams and other misappropriation of funds from  crypto holders and exchanges have resulted in a $4.3 billion in losses in the year 2019 so far, and this will likely go on until there is sufficient oversight for cryptocurrencies and blockchain related activities because the world givernments cannot relinquish control to the masses in the way that the blockchain wants.

Regulations is needed to attain mass adoption

Truly there are various illegal activities in the crypto space because of its decentralized nature.  This is one of the reasons why probably many countries government are not ready to legalise it.  But nowadays, several efforts are in place to mitigate these activities and that is why crypto is gaining more trust among individuals and governments.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: June 07, 2020, 06:42:24 PM
It's seems many still don't know the importance of social media channels and telegram groups of the coins and tokens they own or promotes

Some hunters and investors lose vital informations like

1. Token swap
2. Smart contract swap
3. Bounty KYC
4. Bounty payout time and date

Many investors and bounty hunters makes this mistakes over and over and later they blame the project team. Just imagine the damages these can create.

Honestly I have lost or missed numerous information about the projects I have promoted sometimes ago because I neglected revisiting their social media.  Recently I was just perusing my wallet to see if I can get some token that has been listed there, then I got one, when I got to the exchange to trade, unfortunately there was no trading for the token again.  I went back to their telegram then I realised the token has been listed more than 7 months ago but the developers later ran away.  That was how I lost the reward I would have gotten if I keep eye on their social media.  It's good to look back on any project we participated in so that we can get some useful information.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto next big step: deflationary tokens on: June 07, 2020, 06:29:42 PM
Hello evryone. I am an older crypto investor. Stayed here in the big growth of privacy coins 4 years ago and later in 2018 aearly with instact transaction coins like xrb -nano_ or xrp. Since there I have passed hours and hours trying to discover th enext big step. And later months and months, I think, discoveres it: deflationary tokens.
This tokens burn a part of the supply every transaction .This do more and more valuable the token with the use. Is like Bnb burning tokens but withouth CZ control.
I discoveres four tokens:
-Stareta and burnt. The original one. I ike both. 3% burn every transaction Problem is that Stareta went up a 2.000.000%. No doubt still will up more.
-Rulekta. Only 100k market cap. 1 of every transaction the token is completely burned. You should buy and sell in parts...or You could lose all.-
-Flama. My favourite one. 200 k market cap becasue curreent market supply is like the half.I like because The team want to join ral use case with Burn token concept.
Avalaible only in uniswap.

Web:
https://flamanet.io/
They have announced lot of different news like aditional token burn, staking, on chain,...
Their telegram is https://t.me/flamatoken
Lets see if it could up like Icx, Neo, xrb years ago.

Though didn't really have much information about what you're talking about, but I know you're trying to explain some things about the choice of your deflationary tokens.  Deflationary tokens were taught to be the new facelift of crypto when they started emerging, but now their purpose were not fulfilled.  Many of them have come and gone, hardly can we see any functioning  one now.  They have had share of their time, they are not making sense anymore.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AQUEST and Enkronos - SCAM. Proof of. on: June 06, 2020, 07:21:27 PM
I participated in Aquest bounty last year, till now I have not received my reward.  A quest is a very big scam. From last year, we have witnessed the emergence of many fake projects that have wasted the resources of both investors and hunters.  We just have to be careful of these scam projects outside there.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful of new ICO on: June 06, 2020, 10:08:32 AM
Scammers did introduce new ICO last year called IMO, I don't want to talk about that but now we will soon see new fund raising from scammers soon, I'm here to warn newbies who are looking to invest in IEO projects, do not participate in any new fund raising solution, the chance if getting scammed is very high, the only legit fund raising solution we have presently is IEO and to make good profits from IEO pls join projects from top exchanges only

Very good point raised.  There are just lots of people now in the crypto space claiming to be solving one problem or the other through blockchain.  Such people organize ICOs in order to rake in some dollars from innocent investors and later take to their heel.  Hardly can you get any reliable project now because unscrupulous elements are too much.  This is making many investor to be damn scared of putting their asset into any new projects no matter how excellent the concept might look like.  We can't be too much careful otherwise we will be victims of these scamming fundraising.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: June 06, 2020, 09:05:54 AM
What is your favorite project these days?

I think Ethereum it's the best project. haha

There will be projects in various fields,
1. Please tell me your favorite project.
2. Recently, let me know what you think is the best project and what the area of the project is.

Anyway I like ETH and DAB for now, I have study the latter for a  while and I can see a bright future in it.  One if the attributes I have seen in DAB is that, it behaves like stable coin especially USDT.  I got some during the bounty and I also invest in DAA2 then.  It's one of my favorite projects for now.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: June 05, 2020, 02:57:03 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering about people's opinions on how safe is Tether.to/USDT? In terms of putting largish amount of money in there ($10k+), what is the risk of the service going out of business, or not honoring withdrawals? I.e. what is the risk of another Mt Gox, Mintpal or Cryptsy incident on here?

I can see that it still says "Beta" on the main page, and that it's a Hong Kong outfit. Not sure what kind of financial regulation/overwatch they have over there when it comes to these things.

I guess other little warning bells are that they don't have an easily accessible support link on their user interface (you can however email support@tether.to), or at least I couldn't easily find it.

Is there a safer way (which is still easy and cheap) to park some USD while BTC is going through it's fluctuations?

Thanks

With my little experience, USDT as one of the reliable stable coins has been used largely by investors because of its stability.  Unlike other coins that can fall extensively in term of price, the fluctuations of USDT price is minimal and bearable.  That's investors store most of their assets in USDT and invest when the market is red.
