I just love watching you guys increase your post count with nonsense. How much do you get paid to do that?
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Project Interzone - Blockchain Social Engine - UPDATE TO 1.5 on: November 01, 2017, 03:52:45 PM
suprnurd, you're involved in this token and also chaincoin.  how did you find both of these?  through mining?  they're both so similar.

I wouldn't say I'm "involved" in this token as much as I've just been "observing" it since it came out. I haven't put any time or effort in to improving this project.

With regards to ChainCoin, I got involved because of all the newbies like myself who got swept up in the buy frenzy back in July - I stuck around to try and do what I could to help the project and in turn help out all the suckers (myself included) who were holding bags. Since that time we have gathered many new supporters, harnessed the voting system of our masternode network, and are presently voting on implementing the updated Dash 12 core so we can have a development budget and move the project forward.

ChainCoin Governance Protocol - Community Vote

The vote began on October 14 and will continue until November 4. The rules, instructions, and proposal link are all on our website at https://www.chaincoin.org/voting/

Quote
The ChainCoin Governance Protocol (CGP) consists of many core changes that will be implemented into the ChainCoin client with the goal of:
  • allowing a portion of the block reward to be dedicated to the development of ChainCoin;
  • allowing community members to submit development proposals that will be funded by the above portion of the block reward;
  • allowing masternode holders the ability to approve the above development proposals by a majority vote.
These core changes are a necessary step in order to provide a sustainable future for ChainCoin and the members of the ChainCoin Community. Furthermore, these changes must be made as soon as possible in order to provide the funding necessary for further development of ChainCoin, since at the moment all development is done solely by the unpaid members of the open-source community.

Based on the current votes I would expect the proposed implementation to move forward so that should be interesting.

Hi,

How to disable darksend ? I want to transfer 5k coins but the wallet says cant be send by darksend !

Enable the coin control features in the settings and then use the Inputs... button on the send tab to select the coins you want to transfer. They may be locked (if so then you can right-click them to unlock them).

There should be a Yobit listing that was already paid for.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody can mining in my nicehash account for a small time please? on: October 31, 2017, 08:20:07 PM
I don't use them so I was only going by what their Seller section shows on payments. If that is the case I would definitely open up a ticket with their support department. Seems bitcoins price goes up all of these shady pools and exchanges get even more greedy. Once you get your money off of them I would avoid using Nicehash in the future, as there are a lot more trustworthy pools to mine at and which don't gouge you with 3-4% fees.

It's rather off-topic so you can PM me if you like but would you mind sharing a list of some of these "trustworthy" pools please?  Grin
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody can mining in my nicehash account for a small time please? on: October 31, 2017, 08:11:53 PM
EDIT: I was thinking more about what I posted so I checked out the Nicehash website as it did seem hard to believe they had such a high withdrawal amount, and the first thing I seen was "Payments from 0.001 Bitcoin". So something doesn't add up with the OPs story.

I've been using Nicehash for many months now and it has been my experience that they do not pay out less than 0.01 BTC.

It's not enough to show ENABLED in the status, since that can easily change to POS_ERROR. You need to check activeseconds are increasing (over an hour or two) to be sure you are online and working.

From the debug console of your local GUI wallet:
Code:
masternode list activeseconds IP.ADD.RE.SS

Thanks suprnurd, I checked and it is ticking along.  No rewards yet after 28 hours.

We have recently had a lot of new masternodes added to the network so expect to wait a little while before you get your first payment. When we had fewer masternodes some people reported delays of 2 weeks between payments - unfortunately the current payment system is very random so I will just wish you best of luck!!
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody can mining in my nicehash account for a small time please? on: October 31, 2017, 05:50:50 PM
From the point of view of mathematics sending tconow for your services will cost more for the OP than the sum which he needs to send you. I wonder if he'll fulfill their commitments? For OP it would be advantageous to run your PC on mining and a few weeks to complete the accumulation of their own. In any case, I wonder how it ends.

I haven't the slightest idea why he suddenly has no mining rig but I do know how much of a pain it is to be stuck with a partial balance that you can't retrieve. I decided to take a chance and if it works out then the two of us get to have a +1 trust on our accounts which is a good payoff IMO vs the risk of losing ~0.02BTC in mining time.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody can mining in my nicehash account for a small time please? on: October 31, 2017, 04:55:17 PM
confirmed! thank you very much!! pm your wallet address, I will send bitcoins after nicehash pay me!  Smiley

I sent you my wallet address, I applied enough hash power that you should get a payment this Friday.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anybody can mining in my nicehash account for a small time please? on: October 31, 2017, 03:35:11 PM
I just need a someone to mining for me in my nicehash account, because my rig miner is broken, and I can't hit BTC0.01. I will pay 120% on all the miner's gains

I will take you up on that offer, I think it would be a good exercise to build trust and if not well I won't be losing that much. Reply back to confirm and then I will switch some of my miners to your address.

but there is not much a difference in between the other MN-Coins...
Chaincoin needs to stick out from the MN-Coin masses. Unfurtunatelly the lead dev left the team and it seems like no one knows whats going on and who the devs are.

Where are you getting your information from?? The lead dev has not left the team and there are several people actively working on the current roadmap objective.

What does it mean to have a masternode status as POS_ERROR?  When I run "masternnode debug" it continues to show successful.  This is on Windows 10 x64 with 0.9.3.2.

It means other nodes are having an issue verifying that your node is indeed online and accepting connections. Check the debug.log file on the node itself and make sure you can connect to the node on port 11994 once it is up and running.

It was running fine, and just happened for no apparent reason.  I didn't get a chance to check the debug.log, but had already cleaned out the chaincoin directory and resynced from scratch before reading your post.  Starting the masternode after that showed ENABLED, so now I'm waiting to see if something comes through.

Thanks for the info.

It's not enough to show ENABLED in the status, since that can easily change to POS_ERROR. You need to check activeseconds are increasing (over an hour or two) to be sure you are online and working.

From the debug console of your local GUI wallet:
Code:

Master Node Average Monthly Rewards
I have been quite fortunate to have two (2) master nodes running for the entire month of August. One of the nodes earned 14CHC and the other one earned 20CHC so my monthly average CHC/node is 17 and my daily average CHC/node is 0.54838710.

I have also been able to track another users’ nodes over the past 19 days and his results are slightly different to mine. Out of his 3 nodes, the first one received 10CHC, the second one received 22CHC, and the third one received only 4, making his daily average CHC/node 0.48387097.

I think it’s important for those of you who are concerned with the cost of running a master node (i.e. paying for a VPS) that you take these averages in to consideration when deciding whether or not to run a master node.

It's almost the end of the month, once we're in October I will report back on my September earnings.

As promised, here are the earnings of my five (5) masternodes which I was fortunate enough to have running for the entire month of September.

Node 1: 29.200025 CHC earned
Node 2: 32.00011 CHC earned
Node 3: 18.4003 CHC earned
Node 4: 16.40014 CHC earned
Node 5: 29.20016 CHC earned

Monthly Average CHC/node: 25.040147 CHC
Daily Average CHC/node: 0.83467157

Since we just had our first block reward increase this month, the numbers don't really tell the full story yet. Once the next block reward increase has occurred then I should be able to compare the payouts month to month until the block reward halving (when we will have to do a new set of calculations).

...and...

I think we'll need to wait until December to have a full month (November) of statistics to report back on in order to get a good idea of what the average payouts look like. I'm only running three masternodes now so my results won't be as detailed as the previous ones.

But if we estimate based on today's info:
  • The ChainCoin algorithm produces ~ 960 blocks per day, @ 8 coins per block which is 7680 coins daily
  • 45% of the reward is now distributed to masternode operators.
  • In one year, all masternodes will earn 1,261,440 coins total.
  • The masternode return is 1,261,440 divided by the current masternode count (2654)
  • With the estimated masternode count (2654) each masternode will receive ~479 coins per annum.
  • This equates to roughly 1.3123287671 CHC per day which is about 39.3698630137 per month.

Keep in mind these numbers are estimates only - due to the random nature of the payout system it is possible to receive more or less than this amount.

Also keep in mind that as of block 1,401,600 (~March 2018) the block reward will halve.

ChainCoin Paper Wallet for Cold Storage

Unfortunately our slack inviter is still not back online so if you're still waiting for an invite I apologize but there is nothing we can do for now! We will let everyone know once we have a backup plan in place. Smiley

I just set up 2 Masternodes and run them from my desktop wallet. They have been running for 5 days straight without receiving any rewards. I am running the latest 90302 version and "chaincoin-cli masternodelist pose IPADDRESS" returns a result of 0. The debug log does show a lot of "MasternodePOS::mnse - MasternodeB ranking is too low" errors. Is there any guide to troubleshoot problems with masternodes? I had faith in Chaincoin when I decided to start running Masternodes, but I am fairly disappointed with the loss in initial investment (bought in at $0.20), and lack of rewards.

what is the output of masternode list activeseconds IPADDRESS (replace IPADDRESS with the 1st ip address and run the command and then replace that ip address with the 2nd ip address and run the command again) for each of your masternodes?

ChainCoin Paper Wallet for Cold Storage

I just finished testing the paper wallet out and it works nice! I was able to send funds to the generated paper wallet address and then import the private key in to the software wallet and transfer my funds out.

Example for reference - 2 transfers to the paper wallet, then the private key was imported and 1 transfer out

Enjoy!

How many coins should we earn monthly with 1 Masternode now, with the changes? Cheers!

Where are devs? Similar behavior like Chaincoin, dev's disappear... also wallet and everything else is copied 1/1

I think the difference this time is that there are a lot of updates on Github, things are getting coded, unlike the real silience from Chaincoin

Yes that furious coding activity on Github...
