Has anyone ever received a random payout of something like .000000001 before? Got my regular payout then later one for .000000001 a couple hours later. Kinda strange.

I got three of them as well. Kind of freaked me out that it was some kind of virus or that someone was trying to find my stash ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Probably complements of the IRS, NSA, or homeland security trying to tag your transactions ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

There is no merged mining - no alt coins attached to the pool in any way. This has the advantage of only having to depend on the bitcoin blockchain and bitcoind without having other old/unsupported or otherwise, blockchain code running on the pool. Orphans are not paid. Payment of orphans by pools is funded by adding a fee to cover them. Seems pointless to me to charge people a fee to cover paying them back ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Good people seem to think getting a load of worthless coins is some kind of bonus. Just joking about paying for orphans, who in the real world world expects that? Best of luck and I'm sending some hash your way. May the luck be with you.

Best of luck with the pool. Will you pay for orphans and merge mine shit coins? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm thinking of switching to P2Pool but don't want to run my own node. I've looked at the node list and some like p2pool.org seem like scams. Can someone suggest a node in the southeast i"m in Charlotte NC? Would be running about 10-15TH depending on how I decide to split it. Thanks
Windpath has his node in VA. http://minefast.coincadence.com. By the way, p2pool.org is not a scam. Windpath owns that domain now and is turning it into an informational site. There is still a node there but unless you feel like donating your hashing power you probably don't want to mine there since it is 100% fee ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) So, Windpath's node at minefast is a zero fee node? I pinged it and the times were decent. I see the 100% fee node is also in Ashburn VA same as minefast. And another question, 6 of my machines are Dragons that don't properly execute the stratum protocol. How would I set the difficulty or are they not compatible with P2P? Thanks

Front end figures haven't confirmed and played out yet. Even if it does it will be corrected and paid accordingly.
This has happened before, even if Slush has to get correct numbers from backend and manually pay - he will.
I hope so, it really pisses me off with as much money as he makes he can't pay so peon to monitor and reply to his thread. Facebook last updated week ago, pure BS especially with the scoring system.

I just checked my support ticket status and they are working on the issue.
How do I submit a ticket? Don't see a place to do it. http://support.bitcoin.czIt keeps saying invalid email or password. Great here comes 30 minutes of pool switching, 13TH leaving now ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

No shit, all my miners are at Slush but not showing up. Reward whacked do I need to do a support ticket?

CK, may I ask at what speed the farm was mining at? And congratulations.

Getting power is not so much of a problem as is cooling. Look at this thread to get an idea for warehouses : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7216.0200 S3s is about 200*400 = 80KW of heat. You're better trying to vent the heat rather than cool the facility. +1 cooling is a fool's errand. Suck that heat out and they'll run with few problems.
|
|
|
Okay, I've added the extractors to our build list. We should have at least 2.5 tonnes of A/C in the warehouse, that should give us a workable temp for the "Miner" room. The "Miner" room is only about 500 square feet.
You would need 187.5 tonnes of AC to cancel the heat the miners create, not 2.5 tonnes. Each ten miners would create 12,000 btu plus about an extra 1000 for the PSU. About 12,000 btu =1 ton. You need to extract the heat not try to cool the room. Good Luck

So far, I've only gotten it to work against ghash pool
I just don't understand how they work on Ghash and no others, sent sidehack login info for bitminter, polmine, and eclipse. Have been told Slush and Ozcoin are no go's.

Can someone share what the reward per TH is averaging per block?
Average of several blocks 0.022194913 per 5.76 so 0.022194913 / 5.76 = .003853283 or there about. Actual hash at pool probably a little less so actual reward might be just a little higher but close. Thanks, was going to move my 12TH last night but didn't due to excessive alcohol intake. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Awesome day might be the best ever

I posted this before but I will again. When difficulty changes, figure out what your expected number of bitcoins should be for that period for the amount you are hashing. Do this for each pool you have miners pointed at. Then at the end of the difficulty period see how close you are to your expectation. Do not try and do this on a daily or weekly basis. It is far simpler to use an entire period. I can tell you what you will find (and I have enough money at risk to REALLY care about this answer). BitMinter and BTCGuild will be the closest to expectation that you will find. There is nothing free in this world, if you believe someone is giving you something for free you likely are still waiting for Josh at BFL to tell you how to invest your money.
EDIT: and I should add that my kids' miners are pointed at only ONE pool. Bitminter caromei, they still have not solved a block, but it will be at bitminter when they do.
Could you please post the formula to calculate what your expected earnings should be at any given difficulty? I've seen in a bunch of times but have never taken the time to write it down.
