What benefits does Zcoin have over Pivx? Pivx is PoS and Zcoin is PoW, correct? What other differences are there? Just saw an announcement that they "became the first Proof of stake crypto to successfully mint and spend a zerocoin transaction" and the price was up > 20% today.  pivx is a pump pos coin. who knows who controls the coins or how much they paid (nothing) theres one difference watch the video posted above zcoin vs zcash. PIVX is like Zcash, no one knows how many coins truly exist... it is like fools gold... I bought PIVX at $0.14 and sold at $1.80... that was in end of march/early april... since it hasnt moved much... PIVX is just a spin off... Zcoin is a new chapter in crypto anonymity.. and fairly ditributed and mineable... o yeah and Chinese... strenght in numbers will come in to play soon enough after MTP is recognised throughout the crypto sphere... just keep filling your xzc bag if you are smart pivx has an auditable supply not that im supporting just helping sort facts |

Hi, the wallet in Github is corrupt. Please fix it, or link the newest version of the QT wallet in a reply.
I think if you fix the wallet binary, people would start to jump on this project.

Bitcoin Plus (XBC) is exploding in price and privacy oriented as well as POS.
This is direct competition to Zcoin...So now you have Zcash, Monero and Bitcoin Plus to dominate...
When are you starting to do some serious marketing to make sure you are not keeping miles behind these coins... at the end of the day only one will be the leading anon crypto... So is Zcoin hungry enough to win? Will you make an effort to get on Poloniex? Any big articles planned in the Economist, Time Magazine?? Maybe an interview on CNBC???

Just start to complete resync blockachain from network or bootstrap.dat. Windows wallet can't do it. It's get this error on some blocks and stuck. Mac OS wallet have no this error and completely resync. I will look into it after we submit our contest prototype (July 3rd). I have been working 100+ hours per week and don't have much time for anything else. if you don't mind can you tell us which team you are? Good luck!! i got no idea why this thread hasnt taken off lol... Possibly the best anon coin on all the market has x2 or more in past month...but nothing here.lols...no chat, no devs updates..nothing..no interest...which is interesting lol..no community...is no gd imo weird considering what this coin could achieve Strange things from the Cryptocurreny world.
This coin is worthing almost 400 bucks / unit and thread is pratically dead.
Same question I have in my mind too. ZEC is one of those that is actively being traded in Polo and yet the thread is not that active here. I'm thinking that there's another thread for ZEC or an official thread instead of this one. ZEC moves quite fast in Polo today from 0.154 BTC up to 0.160 Why TF is this thread dead?
lols was thinking the same...but i know for sure...it wont be for long  with Eth making plans to move to pos...i think most of eth hashing will come to zec if zec not careful they gona lose the hash imo BTC. Good coins for those who wants to buy and sell on short term. |

MTP won't fundamentally change Zcoin's market price. On Bittrex there's currently an excess of sell orders over buy orders of Zcoin of $5 million USD, unless I'm reading it wrong, in which case tell me. Maybe that's partly because miners leave it on the market and don't focus on it and just leave it sitting there, whereas buyers are in and out quickly. Still, that's gotta worry other people besides me.
The sooner we get zcoin incentivised nodes going the better. 500 or 1000 coin stake required. maybe 500 to avoid making smaller investors feel bad. When can you do this Zcoin team?
Well if I had to hazard a guess, the upcoming MTP release has already changed Zcoin's market price. We have doubled since a short while ago? But who knows, it's crypto land where ICOs with only a smattering of untested code can raise millions of dollars in a couple of hours. As for Znodes, our incentivized nodes scheme, this is done right after our wallet optimizations. As to how long, within a few months (including the wallet core upgrade and optimizations) but I don't want to set any hard deadlines. It depends how far we want to implement the Znode scheme. Do we just do the incentivized node structure first without its implementation of its segregated Zerocoin processing or delay it a bit to get the Zerocoin processing in as well. And for the many people asking on Znode coins required? I'll do a copy paste from our Slack convo: The team doesn't know yet either. We won't determine the figure until it's closer to launch. Why? Not for any secret reason. But what if zcoin was somehow worth 1000 dollars Then even if we set a figure now It won't be realistic anymore Znode launch is some months away as per our roadmap So pointless to set it now, once we are clear on a release date and closer to launch Then we can set a figure. Orr if zcoin price crash then too low a figure would be also not good For example if zcoin was worth 0.50 back to my entry , then would u want the cost for a zcoin node to be only 1000 xzc or 500 USD ? No right lol So again, we don't have any figure because right now we want to work out the tech then we can determine the economics. It's much easier dev than mtp and should be a lot faster But we will see  maybe a variable number would be in order |
