Help NIX get added to PolisPay in order to be spendable with MasterCard!
Dear NIX community,

we have a nice opportunity on our hands! In order to get listed on https://polispay.com/, we have to win a Twitter competition! This would save a sizable chunk of the dev fund which can then be used for other means to grow!

Nothing the NIX community can not achieve, we have won such things before!

Please do the following:

1.follow: https://twitter.com/polispayapp

2.follow: https://twitter.com/PolisBlockchain

3.reply to this tweet: https://twitter.com/polispayapp/status/1105559400406634496

4.with: #BringToPolisPay $NIX

That would be great for the project, I'm leaving my voice now
polis pay didn’t work out I guess

VIOR Linux wallet build commands:

Matrix put together a series of commands to assist you in compiling a Linux VIOR wallet.
This is to further assist the community to run VIOR wallets to support the chain till the new VIOR wallet is released in a few months.
I'm running a VIOR wallet on Linux Mint and have over twice the amount of connections than my Windows  wallet.
For some reason my windows machine seems to limit the number of wallet connections.

31  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: SOLOCKPOOL Run on: January 20, 2019, 07:34:07 PM
Hi everybody,

I am organising a Bitcoin SOLOCKPOOL Run, its been quite a long time since the last block, so its time to try and find it.

Anyone can join, Minimum amount is 0.05btc.
We will start our run, in a week time. January 27.
We will use Nicehash service for 48-72 hours and 5-20ph depending on how many people will join.
If we find a block, I will distribute the 12.xx BTC among all the the ones who participated in this Solo Run, based on the amount invested.

SoloCkPool topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0

To join, please send me a pm, I will give you the btc address to join.
Don't forget to send me your BTC Transaction link.
I will delete stupid or negative statements, to keep the topic clean.

Investers:

User         Invested           Status

ailikun       0,1  BTC           paid

Mining status link:

P.S. I have already organised this type of runs, a few years ago.
And I think its more convenient to use nicehash, instead of miningrigrentals this time.
didn’t those solo pools have escrow before
32  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE 251 blocks solved! on: January 20, 2019, 07:32:02 PM
Ok guys, this block is taking forever.
I think its time to go, for a group solo round )
Been a long time since we did something like this.

Ive created a topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099979.new#new
And we will start in a week.

Didn't want to comment on your self-moderated thread, I just think it's a horrible idea.

How do we trust you're not going to take the full block reward, or even the largest chunk of it and lie about the amount, if a block is indeed found?

If a block isn't found how do we know you didn't steal half the group funds?

How do we know that you're indeed pointing them to the solo pool and not making profits off of somewhere else?

Why don't you just coordinate a week where everyone can spend their own funds renting their own rigs in their own accounts rather than send it to you?

So many questions and so many wrong things about your plan that it's extremely risky to trust you with such a thing just because it's so hard to know if you scammed the participants or not.

escrow?

Self moderated threads in bitcoin talk have never ended well. It would appear to others your hiding facts and FUD rather than control them with intelligent responses. Which is the best approach in my humble opinion.  FUD control can be tedious I’m sure, and most intelligent people can see thru it, do their own investigations and come to the right conclusions. I urge you one more time to go back to the unmoderated thread.

Kudos to the PR team of NIX, I don`t have any other coin/project more active in marketing and ads then NIX.
In all available chains..
is just me or is this statement almost as stupid as my ignorance?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NIX - Make Bitcoin, altcoins and tokens anonymous with NIX Platform! on: November 17, 2018, 09:32:16 PM
Because it is not plain Zerocoin.

Its like calling Zcoin, Bitcoin, because they use Bitcoin core. Zcoin is Zcoin because they added Zerocoin to Bitcoin Core.

Well, if you add Commitment Key Packs (completely different protocol) to Zerocoin it becomes something else...

^ This is an explanation for a 10 yo
26/28 posts in this nix thread, ladies and cryptoscammers bitro33's account was made for shilling nix

address-less zc transactions are much more than plain zerocoin; THAT is the ghost protocol

please DYOR
sorry the protocol isnt zerocoin? two way ghosting is new but the operation relies on zerocoin soooo.....

assume you did not read the commitment key packs paper.... if you are saying pedersen commitments is zerocoin, you have no idea what any of this actually is. Pedersen commitments are a type of commitment scheme which is used to create addressless transactions. They use the pedersen commitments cryptography to allow for borderless zerocoin deposits. that itself is a seperate protocol from zerocoin, and can be used for any protocol. commitment key packs are not tied to zerocoin, it can use any type of cryptographic privacy. commitment key packs just creates an addressless transaction layer that in nix's case uses zerocoin to facilitate the transaction. for example, commitment key packs can use zerocash protocol or CT/ring ct, it doesnt matter in that regard. they are seperate protocols. dyor, read the paper, and make sound arguments.
what you are saying is like saying cryptocurrency IS blockchain tech, when actually, cryptocurrency uses blockchain as one of many tools to achieve its goal. Sure crypto uses blockchain, but it can also use hashgraphs and other similar data structures.
ooooohhhh bringing out the newbie accounts, lol to afraid to use your original account thats ok i did my research to the extent needed. I can tell you this is a zerocoin protocol coin which uses the commitment key pack to make addressless tx's. So tell me again how this isnt zerocoin. we need to make zerocoin's in the ghost vault first before we can send addressless tx's ya?

Its not just zerocoin and two way ghosting does not have to wait for any blocks haha

you know nothing about any of this

I would recomend you to be rather quiet. of course you don't need to wait for any block the transaction appears by it self and will be writen maybe on the paper lol  Grin Grin Grin It is zerocoin mint over the mint. you wait "strFailReason = _("there needs to be at least 2 mint coins in the accumulator with 6+ confirmations");"

6 confirmation in blockchain for 1st mint zerocoin + 6 confirmations 2nd mint of minted you know better call it 2 way ghost or what ever it is still zerocoin procedure made by Reuben Yap and Zcoin team Grin Grin Grin
zerocoin was made by academics at some university, Zcoin was the first to implement it. Id say Zcoin is at the top of the zerocoin game, but NIX hopefully can step up to that mark
although it seems stupid that NIX changed zerocoin protocol to ghost protocol i not sure what the reason behind that was?? Kinda makes them seem scammy

it is already implemented, I've tested it and works flawlessly. Super fast
whats implemented? ghosting(otherwise known as zerocoin) or two way ghosting?
