181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to build a career with bitcoin? on: October 26, 2023, 03:38:06 AM
I think bitcoin is a bright future for us.

Yes, bitcoin is a bright future for us but if you only want to rely on investing in bitcoin to generate income then it will not be a good idea.  because there is no investment without risk, especially bitcoin is a high-risk investment.  luckily, bitcoin has increased in price significantly and helped your brothers make a profit, but if it suddenly drops in price, what will happen to you and your brother?  bitcoin doesn't always go up in price, and during those down times, how will you and your brother survive without another source of income?  have you ever thought about that? To me, building a career by investing and trading bitcoin seems like a pretty bad idea.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should have taken this risk earlier. on: October 26, 2023, 03:11:42 AM
I didn't plan to do anything with the money I saved for my education but recently the price of bitcoin has increased by about 10 thousand dollars and seeing this increase I think that I should invest in bitcoin now instead of leaving the money in the bank for these four to five months. Although I think it's a bit late for me to invest. Maybe I should have invested when Bitcoin was 26 thousand dollars then maybe I could have made a good profit at this point but there is no point in regretting what I didn't do Of course I will think about the present now.
This is the same reasons, the same phrase you can hear to all those who are in doubt. Price might go higher until december as history repeats itself in every last quarter of the year.

But you are not late, remember price go $60k last time so buying on $34k is quite good but you need more time to wait.

But how can you guarantee the OP that the price will continue to increase until $40k in December since he said he could only invest for 4 or 5 months before school starts?  not to mention, is it correct to invest bitcoin with money for daily needs, and what will happen to him if bitcoin does not increase to 40k$ but falls to 20k$?  the current price is still worth buying, and it is never too late to invest, but other factors such as idle cash and investment time should also be considered as there is no guarantee in the short term that bitcoin will continue to increase.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: October 25, 2023, 04:05:58 PM

2026 World Cup is around the corner, it might seem to be a long duration but I'm certain both players will reach their peak. Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo chances of playing in the World Cup is slightly 80% and that could possibly happen. Checking their perspective stats in games, they're both doing brilliantly good and have pull a doubt of them meeting up the high demands of team's expectations and ultimate primary goals executions. I'm pretty confident about both players playing again in forthcoming World Cup, they're exceptionally outstanding and always ready to exhibits their very best.

It's very Tru that both player currently are doing exceptionally well in their various league where they currently play but what we are looking at is years from now, the world cup is literally in three years from now so how sure can we be that these players will maintain this frame of form till the next three yes time,  it's very possible they wouldn't be in the same form as they are now by then .

What seems very possible from my point of view is them playing in the various qualifying games for their various countries but actually participating in the world cup is still in doubts except there's a new FIFA policy that allows above 40yrs to play I'm the world cup, because both players would be in their 39th or 49rh years of age by the next world cup games, And if they eventually do expectations in they should be lowered as thy may most likely not meet up with such probably due to age factors which cannot be eliminated.

I hope Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both actually play in the World Cup. Lionel Messi has, of course, won everything in football. Cristiano Ronaldo will surely like the taste of lifting the World Cup. But by the time he plays the next World Cup, he is going to be 42 if I am not wrong.  It will be hard for him to actually perform well. But of course, if Portugal actually does not find any replacement for him which they have not yet, they are going to have to play him and I don't think he will do a bad job. Lionel Messi might retire before the next World Cup. However  I am pretty sure Cristiano Ronaldo is very determined to play the World Cup.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 25, 2023, 03:55:20 PM
Fans will blame him when he makes a mistake and will praise him when he is the hero of his team's victory. What happened to Onana at this time was also experienced by Harry Maguire, the only goal Manchester United got to get their first win was thanks to a goal created by Maguire. These two players were often sneered at by fans in previous matches because they were considered to be the culprits in Manchester United defeat. Today their names have become a hot topic of conversation due to their brilliant actions in helping Manchester United open up the opportunity to qualify for the round of 16.

Harry Maguire is not liked by Manchester United fans. And I've seen Harry Maguire suffer a lot of trolls. There were even rumors that Ten Hag would no longer keep Harry Maguire in Manchester United's squad. But today Harry Maguire's goal gave Manchester United their first win in the Champions League. The team got a narrow 1-0 win today after losing two matches in a row. United fans should really thank Harry Maguire.

I was not satisfied with Manchester United's performance in the home match. United should have played more attacking tactics. Copenhagen's players were confident. They resisted the onslaught until the last minute of the match. Copenhagen could have drawn the match if they had managed to score from a penalty shootout in extra time after 90 minutes.
and now do we deserve to give praise to Maguire and Onana? yeah sure. because actually the bad criticism of Maguire and Onana is just fake for me, even though many people say that Man United bad performance is all because of weak goalkeepers, but everything I say is proven that Onana is a reliable goalkeeper and this bad thing happened because he did not maybe Onana will perform optimally when the defense line is bad and all big team goalkeepers will definitely continue to concede goals if they have a bad defense line but in yesterday match the efforts made by Maguire and Onana paid for all the bad talk from the fans and even though I had doubts about Maguire performance but I realize that he still has a good chance at MU, I just dont give bad criticism like that.
I still remember everyone who said Onana was bad here Cheesy

Honestly, I still do not trust Manchester United to be consistent enough. It is just a matter of time before they start performing badly again. And I am pretty confident saying that as well. In my personal opinion, any single player in Manchester United is not bad, except Harry Maguire. Just because he scored in one match does not mean that I am going to forget about all the bullshit that he did before. He better start defending like Sergio Ramos in his prime to make people forget what he did. About Onana, I will say that I don't see him as an improvement. At least not compared to De Gea.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 25, 2023, 03:09:57 AM
We still don't know that but at least I'm sure Monaco will continue to play well until the end of the season and the transfer window will open and at that time there will also be changes in strength in the teams that are updating their squad. Especially PSG who also want to improve their squad, I'm sure they will provide many surprises in the transfer market next winter.
PSG still has the possibility to dominate in Ligue 1. but Monaco also has a chance if PSG doesn't make immediate improvements this season. and it was Monaco's chance to prevent PSG's dominance.
After nine rounds we have interesting situation in this season with few top clubs are staying out of the top ranks which is surprising specially Lyon at the bottom and Lens in near relegation zone but PSG which is the most powerful club in French League also struggling and have third spot with Monaco at the top and Nice which is only club without any defeat at the second spot most chances this situation will be going for few more weeks or until winter vacation because after this mostly clubs will give their best and try to narrow difference of points which will bring improvement in performance and quality as well which is much needed.

PSG is surely still favorite, but few clubs are giving their best and trying to have something positive which is good sign, but their available sources are not like PSG which will give them better advantage near the end of this season for having better result.

Of course, in my opinion, PSG is favourite as well. Because I just can't think of another team which will actually be able to give good competition to PSG for the title throughout the whole season. I think the competition is going to die out towards the end of the season. And PSG will be the only team to still stand tall. Even with all the problems that they had to face in this season. Monaco and Nice did very well to actually be at the top of the table right now. The one team that has actually surprised me is Brest. But recently it seems like the good performance phase is over for them.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin were a physical currency. on: October 23, 2023, 11:57:42 AM
Are you thinking about this?

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and you simply think, if it was in physical form, would it still be decentralized?  or will it be controlled by the government and create billions of bitcoins if they like it?  you are newbie and I think you need more knowledge about bitcoin and when you gain knowledge your questions will mostly be answered.  forums are a good place to start, but you can also search YouTube for bitcoin videos that can help you visualize and grasp the basics more effectively.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 23, 2023, 11:46:01 AM
I agree with your point of view on this. For an important day like a wedding day or a date, we should give meaningful gifts that are appropriate to the situation, and should not give unrelated things. In OP's case, if his wife knows and is passionate about bitcoin, he can gift bitcoin to her at any time. Giving her bitcoin on her wedding day might make her happy because she understands what it is, but what about the people around her? They don't know anything about bitcoin and came to congratulate the wedding, share the joy with the bride and groom, but they don't understand what's going on, which will make the party no longer interesting.

At the end of the day, it's all about money, bitcoin or gold or any gift is money, but we need to give gifts that suit the situation and context rather than just doing what we want.

OP told that his wife is aware of Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin as a gift, that is basically just money. That isnt very romantic, that is just another creative way to give money. Even though it is popular, but giving money as a present is simplest kind of a present. I would say that is might be similar that person did not bother much thinking what to give. Just like a last minute decision. For Bitcoin to be a present that will be remembered or understood, the person who receives it must be into deeply crypto, and people who surround that person must be also in crypto. Otherwise how would that person share the joy of a present. I bet it was a quest for his wife to explain her parents what exactly OP gave her as a present.

I agree with both of you, if we are talking about romance and to add some excitement to the wedding then bitcoin is an inappropriate gift.  but anyway, this is OP and his wife's wedding, it's their decision and they feel happy with it.  but if it were me, I wouldn't use bitcoins at a wedding or any other occasion, it's more like a boast or boast.  if we want to teach our wife about bitcoin or give her bitcoin, we have plenty of time to do that.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ? Lega Serie A ?? (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024? on: October 22, 2023, 04:23:34 PM

@Lillominato89 I’m surprised that Napoli won and while this will definitely lift up their spirits but I feel that the player’s should remain grounded as it’s a long season ahead and they need to constantly perform if they wish to secure a top 4 spot for themselves. Lastly Victor has single handedly won them many game’s but the poor treatment that they gave him has effected his confidence and now it’s best for both parties that he moves on to a new club.

the championship is long and there can be many pitfalls! therefore Napoli like all the other teams must remain with their feet on the ground! Osimhen will definitely leave but who knows if he will leave next summer or when the contract ends! we'll see.

meanwhile thanks to el sharaawy I closed all bets, Roma made me sweat until the end of the match Grin

Though Napoli was able to win this match in the end, but I have to say the defense could have been better from Napoli. If Verona could have finished better in this match, there could have been problems for this Napoli team.

On the other hand, I have to say Osimhen being injured and not being available for this match has certainly made this team find another player on whom they can actually rely upon. Kvaratskhelia was able to score 2 goals in this match. That is certainly good science for Napoli going forward in this season.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 22, 2023, 12:51:46 PM
Well, it really depends on the person! Everyone has their own choices to make. Some Bitcoin enthusiasts, known as "maxis," hold onto their Bitcoin even during a bull run because they have a long-term vision and commitment to BTC. On the other hand, there are "profit maxis" who buy Bitcoin with the intention of selling at the peak of a bull run and then buying back when the market turns bearish. Personally, I believe it's not necessary to sell all your holdings. Since it's hard to predict the exact top or bottom of the market, it's better to take out your initial investment and a good amount of profit, and let the rest continue to grow. Whatever happens in the future is, well, for the future!

Indeed, it really depends on each investor's strategy and plans.  some people will sell all their bitcoin and try to buy it back when the bear market comes, some people will not sell or only sell a little because they have not reached their set goal.  personally, I would sell everything rather than keep it because I have my own plans, I think it would be unwise to hold on to some during the bull season when we can buy it back cheaply during the bear season.  so selling half or selling all is really up to each person.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 22, 2023, 12:43:30 PM
Many people like to store their coins in different forms. If you ask how a big institution stores the coins, then they might be using their own custodial wallets. But if you are an individual who wants to store these hard earned coins more securely, then hardware wallets are the right option for it. Always avoid online wallets, as here you don’t completely own the coins. If you are holding big amount of coins, then Ledger is the best choice, else Electrum can do the work.
Ledger may not be the best hardware wallet available, they have many worthy competitors.. If the investment amount is not large, then Ledger will be enough, but if the investment becomes very significant, then you should think about more reliable cold wallets. In addition, Ledger has different models, which also needs to be taken into account, but you are right that a hardware wallet will be much safer than storing coins on Electrum or other online wallets.

Ledger may not be the best hardware wallet available, but it is very popular. I think it is necessary to explain the importance of hardware wallet to people before choosing a hardware wallet. I don't know if there are statistics on this subject, but I wonder what percentage of investors use hardware wallets? I've seen estimated values in a few places, but I was curious about the exact number.

Security is everything. It is your responsibility to secure your investment. Therefore, you can make your investment safer by researching hardware wallets and choosing a hardware wallet that is safe and comfortable to use.

Besides Ledger and Trezor which are considered popular hardware wallets, do we have any other hardware wallets?  and which hardware wallet is best?  hardware wallets are not only used to store bitcoin, most can store many different currencies, so I think the number of investors owning hardware wallets will be very large.  but to get the exact number, only the hardware wallet provider can get that exact number.

Hardware wallet is considered the most secure solution because it is an offline storage device but I think if we use airgap device then it is also a good way to store bitcoins.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin EFT income reach BTC 100 thousand dollars? on: October 22, 2023, 12:19:09 PM

Do you think it will really be 100 thousand dollars? What happens if it is?

If you expect bitcoin to reach $100k, I think you need not expect SEC approval of ETFs because as long as the bull season comes, that goal is not too difficult for bitcoin.  I am even optimistic that bitcoin in the next bull season could even touch $200k, $100k is actually a very modest prediction from some investors and the actual ATH could be much higher, IMO.  but it can't be denied that people are Fomo about ETF news, I also think bitcoin could go up if etfs are approved but then there will be a dump.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am 19 years old boy living in South korea. Please give me an advice on: October 21, 2023, 01:28:36 PM
I receive about $100 a month from my dad. I am planning to use them to buy some bitcoin.
Please give me an advice to be successful Bitcoin investor in the future.

If $100 from your father is net money that you can invest, then you can buy Bitcoin gradually every month. But if it has to interfere with your other finances, meaning you will have other needs that might use that money, then you have to manage your finances first. It is important to know the appropriate amount that you can invest gradually. Just be consistent, if your ability is $30, then do it regularly every month, and you will see that your Bitcoin accumulation is quite good in the future.

It's difficult to give advice to the OP because he didn't specify whether the $100 was pocket money or money he used for monthly expenses.  if that is all the money he has to use for his daily needs then he should not invest in bitcoin with that amount.  but if it's pocket money, he can invest it in bitcoin instead of using it to spend on other useless things.  but he needs to know one thing, bitcoin is a long-term investment, not an investment to get rich quickly, so he needs to have full knowledge before investing, don't invest with a get-rich-quick mindset.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can it be real bull or just a temptation. on: October 21, 2023, 12:55:08 PM
It was a great surprised to me this morning seeing the market price increasing above $29k that made me to asked this question, if it's real for bull market to happen in this month of October or is just a temptation that will make people to release their BTC to the market before the massive bull will take place. If the price of BTC can reach this level $29k at this time, show that real bull will take place next month of November till next year ending for investors to use the period to earn more incomes from their investment and to plan well ahead of another bear to come. If this new increase turn to temptation in the crypto market by turning back to dumping again which are some of the things investors don't want to experience in this season because, it will cause Many losses to investors. Do you think this is a real bull that will lead to investors expectation? Or is just a temptation that will make people to rush to the market to sell and regret at the end? What is your opinion.

Although there have been some suggestions that we will have a bull season before the halving because of news related to ETFs, I still believe that history will repeat itself.  I mean, what's happening is just a temporary recovery, a normal market movement, it's not a sign that bull season has arrived.  not to mention looking at the world economic situation, everything is still in an unstable state so I don't think the crypto market will be separated from the fluctuations of the world economy to surprise us.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 21, 2023, 08:51:20 AM
Barcelona likes lose its main weapon. it's caused by lewandowski is the only centra striker owned by barcelona. Missing him meant the club has no weapon in helping the club to scoring as many as possible. Barcelona is still in the crisis right now by missing him.
Lewandowski is the only striker and i was quite surprising to see how barcelona was not even trying to buy new striker previous season. It seems like that financial problem has been preventing barcelona to win the game.

Actually last season they already had an agreement with Athletico Paranaense about Vitor Rouge but indeed this possibility became difficult because some news circulating at this time Barcelona's spending limit was again reduced and made it possible for them to fail to bring Vitor Rouge because surely this would hamper them in the deal in terms of the nominal to be paid in the end.
Lewandowski can still be maximize, it's just that this season he didn't play well and even his performance seemed to decline at the start of this season but with the presence of several players like Joao now his performance is actually starting to improve,   it's just that if in long-term conditions and Barcelona's conditions are still not improving in terms of financial honesty this will be difficult.

Whether Lewandowski is injured or not, in fact Lewandowski is basically old and of course, Barcelona cannot continue to rely on Lewandowski as their main player. So yes, with considerations like that, of course Barcelona should have another pure center-forward besides Lewandowski. But at this moment, I think Barcelona can still play and or maximize Joao Felix in the Barcelona attack line. Because after all, Joao Felix is also not as bad as imagined because basically Joao Felix has great potential too. At least, with Joao Felix in Barcelona attack line it will still make Barcelona's performance remain balanced and stable at this moment.

I did not like when Barcelona brought in Robert Lewandowski for 50 million. I thought they overpaid for this player. And I definitely did not like the idea of them depending on him so much. Because first of all, he is obviously getting old. I believe if they spent the 50 million on a younger player, they would have done much better. They also would have had a longer period of service. Because we can see that Barcelona already cannot depend on Robert Lewandowski alone. The performance of Barcelona has been pretty decent so far. Even though they have not lost even a single match so far, they definitely have dropped points. To stay at the top of the competition. Barcelona will need ruthless attacking lineup.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: October 21, 2023, 03:20:53 AM
On FIFA World Cup Qualifier CONMEBOL zone Argentina have impressive performance, won 4 of 4 matches seems they will easily get placed in World Cup 2026 with Lionel Messi still most important player in their squad.
There are almost no doubts about Argentina because they are still supported by the same squad as when they won the World Cup last year, but it is quite impressive how they are consistent, have not shown any decline, perhaps also because the team they are facing can be said to be below their strength and when they face Uruguay and Brazil in November, it will be a real test, whether they will still be able to win the match, especially when they face Brazil later, even though Brazil will not be defended by Neymar because it is reported that he will need quite a long time to recover from injury but Brazil will still be Argentina's toughest opponent.
And regarding Messi's role, he will still be the focus for Argentina in this qualification and the 2026 World Cup is still a question regarding his participation.
Having won the four matches they've played in the CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Brazil is surely gonna find it difficult to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Out of the 10 countries that make up CONMEBOL, the Argentine national team is the highest ranked team as well as the number 1 ranked team in FIFA rankings.
They Argentine national team is in the form of their life as they're yet to lose a football game since last year's world cup.

Of course, they are going to be in great form. After all, they are the defending champions. and not only that, the Argentina squad great at this moment. They obviously have arguably the best player in the world, Lionel Messi.  But even without him, they have a great squad overall. The Argentina squad is something like the France squad of 2018 World Cup. Almost perfect in every regard and almost unbeatable.

But when we talk about Brazil squad, the squad is not balanced at all. They have all the strikers in the world. But not enough midfielders and defensive players.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best crypto exchange for P2P transactions ? on: October 20, 2023, 02:35:27 PM
Which is the best crypto exchange for P2P transactions ?  I am looking for a good alternative to Binance P2P.

If you already use Binance P2P, one of the best centralized exchanges we have, why would you want to find an alternative?  if you are thinking of looking for another centralized exchange then I think there will be no better solution than Binance.  but if you start to care about privacy then you can use kycnot.me as mentioned by Zaguru12.  It offers a lot of options, you can choose any exchange you like.  in addition, there is a note that the liquidity of decentralized exchanges cannot be greater than the liquidity of centralized exchanges, if you need to trade large amounts of money, you should consider carefully.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: October 20, 2023, 01:31:32 PM
I sense that very soon the pump will start to shame all those folks who feel btc is failed project.

Who are they who still consider btc as a failed project?  BTC will certainly double in value from its current value when the market booms.  Those who think BTC is a failed project will surely regret it.  There are many investors who don't care about BTC price but they care about saving BTC. And they invest in Bitcoin for long term.  Although the market is always unpredictable, there is no reason for anyone to despair of investing in Bitcoin.  Of course Bitcoin will do well in the future.
calling Bitcoin as fail project are obviously those people that stupidly invested in this market knowing only one thing , and that is a place where automatically making money so in the end, blaming crypto for their greediness.
there is no such place like investing with exact making money.
if you don't know how to deal with the risk of cryptocurrency , then never invest here unless you have learn everything in right manner before putting your single cent here.
I think people are too quickly claiming things against Bitcoin. I have trader friends that lately bought Bitcoin and tried to make money over it. When I was discussing with them, they kept claiming Bitcoin is dying, Bitcoin is failing etc. I think short term traders don't understand nature of Bitcoin so when they buy and wait, they are like they MUST make money through it OR it's fail. Average trader isn't aware how long term project Bitcoin is.

Perhaps your friends lack knowledge about bitcoin or they are failing and want to find someone to blame and not admit their mistakes.  I also have a few friends, before investing, they made it very clear that they had great faith in bitcoin.  but when they lose money or the results are not what they expected, they constantly blame and criticize bitcoin.  they failed with their greed and stupid thinking but they are too embarrassed to admit their faults so they will blame anything they can. To me, those are losers and they don't deserve to hold bitcoin.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: October 20, 2023, 01:24:02 PM
From various sequences of problems and many aspects that can be associated, I become doubtful with the price development of Bitcoin which in the event of this war is enlarged, so as usual Bitcoin will experience a price decline, even though we know it is not just bitcoin that will be a victim of this conflict happen.

No matter what's going on—be it bad news or good news—it won't significantly impact Bitcoin as long as it's not in a bull run. We've weathered worse problems in the past, and Bitcoin has maintained a stable price. Even during the height of the pandemic, Bitcoin's price and the market remained surprisingly stable.

You should have confidence in Bitcoin. It has been declared "dead" many times, yet it keeps rising. If it does experience a dip, it's often due to manipulation, and its price will eventually return to stability. Don't let FUD overshadow the current bullish sentiment. Have you been feeling the bullish sentiment lately?

But macro news can affect the bull season, I mean it can cause the bull season to happen later.  furthermore, the effects of war and inflation are completely different from the impact of a pandemic on bitcoin.  during the pandemic, everything became chaotic but the government supported the economy by printing and pumping money, the flow of money into financial markets caused them to increase in price massively, not just bitcoin.  meanwhile, war and inflation are causing a terrible crisis for the economy, causing many difficulties.  so it cannot be said that their impact on bitcoin is the same.

But in the long run, you're right, the bull season may be delayed but it will still come after all the bad stuff is over.

Regarding from Man City star Julian Alvarez targeted by Barcelona as long-term transfer replacement for Robert Lewandowski have interested rumor with Manchester City attacking line rumor targeted by Barcelona for long term transfer for replacing Robert Lewandowski position. Not get regular position with Manchester City after losing compete with Erling Haaland I think best option for Julian Alvarez accepting Barcelona interested for signing him.
Pep will not sell Alvarez, he might not able to compete Haaland, but he could be a substitute player to replace Haaland's position or he will become the next attacking midfielder which used to replace De Bruyne. De Bruyne is already 32 years old, he might able to play at peak performance until 36 years old.

The ups and downs in Alvarez's performance is normal, the most important this is he must keep improving.

The ups and downs in Alvarez's performance are normal, the most important this is he must keep improving. Now I believe that Haaland is still the superstar striker of Manchester City.  There is no fault in trying to prepare a replacement. And I do not think that Alvarez will be able to compete with Haaland. He is still really good. The problem with De Bruyne is that he is pretty old at this point.

So it is going to be hard for him to stay healthy, consistently and also perform really well at the same time. We have already seen him getting injured. So I am a little doubtful about him performing at his peak until he is 36.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to get paid in BTC if you are a weed-shop owner? on: October 19, 2023, 02:53:04 PM
Furthermore, if your employees can do it with bitcoin, they can also do it with fiat. I think it's a problem in recruitment and human resource management and has nothing to do with using bitcoin or QR for customers to pay. QR is a convenient method and is being implemented in most stores in developing countries.
Yeah it can happen in fiat too, so it's not a matter for the currency.

When a the store give their QR code, when you scan it you will see the name or brand you will pay. Let's say it's should be "KFC", but the employee is using their own QR code and after you scan it the name is "Alice". This can be easily noticed by the sender, but if he don't care about that, he will send the money to Alice instead of KFC.

In general, that is not too new and still happens in some stores when human resource management is not really good.  and what I want to say is that it has absolutely nothing to do with using bitcoin as a payment method for our business.  and even if that happens, it's not the customer's fault but ours because we didn't manage our employees well. if an employee intentionally commits fraud, whether it is with fiat currency or bitcoin, they will still do it.
