The live chat they have on the exchange state that the blocks are not downloading when I asked for an ETA
It's great to know they're working on it, at least. I know sometimes it can take a while for the blocks to download because there aren't that many peers. I confirmed with coinscontrol that the wallet is syncing well They informed me that they will start work on the devcoin listing on Monday!

The live chat they have on the exchange state that the blocks are not downloading when I asked for an ETA
I have been corresponding by email with their technical team It is a little slow going since we are in nearly opposite time zones but it is going It is true that there is some problem syncing new wallets but I have provided blocks and receiver files for the exchange and a script to copy them correctly I have high confidence they will get their wallet synced soon and devcoin setup on their exchange Please note they estimated 3 days to weeks to get devcoin listed and operational on the coinscontrol exchange so please be patient

Great news! Does anyone know of any problems with coinscontrol.com? Because the bitcoin network is overloaded, will they accept the equivalent in litecoins? We can transfer litecoins in to coinscontrol wallets and convert to BTC. I converted some litecoins into 0.05 BTC at coinscontrol already. Does anyone want to provide the other half? I paid the fee and submitted the application at coins control I will let you know when it is live

No one normal exchange dont want listing this scam coin?
No need panic plaese, CoinFalcon trading working without problem, Tradesatoshi GRLC wallet on Maintenance (Please check block before putting back online due fork 707 021518) system need some time to conversion to new hardfork. Mining to Garlium wallet - all working fine. i use garlicpool.org - this poll simple and understandably. my 14x1060=30mh/s = about 5,5 grlc per hour. i think it perfect mining result. Tradesatoshi is working fine

Some info on the Monero hard fork: https://getmonero.org/2018/02/11/PoW-change-and-key-reuse.htmlwe strongly believe that it's beneficial to preserve our ASIC resistance. Therefore, we will perform an emergency hard fork to curb any potential threat from ASICs if needed. Furthermore, in order to maintain its goal of decentralization and to provide a deterrent for ASIC development and to protect against unknown or undetectable ASIC development, the Monero team proposes modifying the Cryptonight PoW hash every scheduled fork, twice a year. The modifications will be light, and should not change performance profiles much. The first change is now being tested, and will happen in the coming March fork. Finally, we will continue to research alternative Proof of Work functions that may provide better ASIC resistance than Cryptonight.
Patches will be available for the following software: zone117x's pool, Snipa's pool, Lucas Jones' CPU miner, wolf0's CPU miner, ccminer-cryptonight, sgminer-gm, xmr-stak, xmrig-nvidia, wolf-xmr-miner. I must have missed it but do we know which block will activate the fork

I would advise against c-cex - after going "on holiday" for a month leaving users unable to access their coins they seem to have done a Yoshit: ignoring tickets, abandoning their BCT thread & multiple reports of missing deposits/withdrawals - check out their thread, it's nasty. It looks like Tradesatoshi also has a bad reputation. I'll update the thread once we get more feedback from our ongoing emails

Bot nets secure the network, whether you agree or not. Secure your systems if you don't like them? I lock my doors because I don't want anyone walking in and taking my shit. But but locks are expensive and need keys and stuff! Life sucks, get a helmet. If there's an easy way to steal with minimal chance of repercussions, someone will always do it. They are not stealing the block reward, they are stealing the hashes from those who don't care enough to prevent it. No worse than mining at school or work (or Russian nuclear plant ), or stealing the electricity for your mining farm or grow-op. botnets are the problem and not the botnet mining we should be making an effort to increase awareness of the device vulnerabilities wherever possible and not trying to change the algorithm to make it better for our own mining efforts personally I would rather know that botnets are securing Monero instead of conducting a DDOS attack (and yes I will grant you the premise that they might be doing both) a higher hash rate is better for the network
