ik ben heel het bitcoin verhaal zat

helemaal? het is natuurlijk vervelend als het je een echtscheiding kost bijna, maar verder is het toch een innovatief betalingssysteem wat de wereld zal veranderen, of niet dan?

Presumably some other random $bullshitcoin
LOL, you guys don't know anything about bitcoin, do you?
Haha that is one of the funniest things posted in a long time about me, thanks.

I'm laughing so hard right now, I have tears in my eyes.

remember when the block reward was 1000 btc? Cheesy
187  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [PREORDER] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: September 20, 2013, 06:19:00 AM
Thx for implementing multiple coin support including Litecoin and Namecoin directly in standard firmware!

yeah would be great, how would this work, i guess it is not possible to put wallets of different coins on the same trezor?

188  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~56,000Gh] Semi-private mining pool on: September 19, 2013, 05:09:58 AM
in the overview tab my hashrate and workers have dropped to 0, but i've been mining non-stop, and still am mining, workers show alive on worker tab, is this some glitch that happened during the server upgrade?

i think you've added MPL twice

[MPL] Maples    - 30 (3.5%)
[MPL] Maples    - 26 (3%)

getting double votes now?

190  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Avalon Technical Support Thread on: September 17, 2013, 01:21:58 AM
We have tried setting the miner count to 32 as well, as I understand disconnecting a module I just disconnect the power from the module and disconnect the data ribbon from the fpga? Ive tried this before to no avail.

How would one go about ordering a fpga from them? I searched their products and only found 4 items.

On a side note..
What does a yellow/red led usually mean?

some issue with the PSU?
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Bounty] Primecoin Standalone CPU Miner! Current: 2.5BTC on: July 17, 2013, 01:35:15 AM
Hello! I'm offering up 2.5BTC of my own money to the first person who releases a standalone CPU miner for primecoin that performs as well if not better than the primecoin implementation already in the client.

[...]

i dont know if it performs same or better..
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Bounty] Primecoin Standalone CPU Miner! Current: 2.5BTC on: July 17, 2013, 01:25:27 AM
I add 1 BTC to this bounty
'pledge' = 1 BTC

Hehe - I was thinking - shutdown, reboot

Тут не думать, а перезапускать сервер нужно!
Эта фигня происходит после каждой смены сложности, только длится по-разному...

冷靜下來的人。有越來越強調它是沒有意義的。

194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PPC] Bounty Project Discussion on: July 09, 2013, 06:55:22 PM
of course, but someone needs to hold the funds before the bounty can be paid out right, when the developer delivers he gets the funds
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PPC] Bounty Project Discussion on: July 09, 2013, 08:01:20 AM
It would be a good idea for the OP to generate dedecated adresses to the bounties so people can easier donate directly and he handles the coins.

It's also kinda hard to figure out how much bounty is for an retailer atm and just because someone says he's going to plege means nothing if you don't know him.

would be very useful, if there are donation addresses we can see how much is donated, but does require trust, escrow?

Also I want to start a bounty just like Vorksholk:

I'll put up one Bitcoin in bounty for a CPU-miner (standalone) that will run on both windows and linux and outperform the built-in miner.

so everybody can chip in

edit: I don't really care for optimized client, I just want it for pool mining

I was wondering if the prime95 client can be used for pool mining
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2013, 08:40:58 PM
@Philogus

Yes I know there is 1 block / minute on the network. I was interested in, if it would be possible to calculate the average time to find a block, with X primespersec, for single miners, not for the complete network

I see.  I think that it would constantly change because the total network hashrate is constantly changing. However, we could calculate a formula that would give you your average time to find a block for one instant in time given your current primespersec. The formula would look something like this:

T = K(N/L)

T= the average time (in minutes) to find a block on our computer system for a given instant in time.
K = some constant.
N = the total network hashrate for a given instant in time.
L = your local hashrate for a given instant in time.

As more people mine for longer periods of time, the value of K should become apparent.

I see, so N would be something like the difficulty I guess

is it possible to calculate what the average time it takes to find a block is?
Just a rough calculation, it looks like about 1 per minute.

dohh, of course I mean for every miner, not for the network
