Got the 100 CBX, so Trade 001 (Killiz/IMZ) complete

But anyway, relax. I personally am looking to launch an empire. We're working with $20 worth of coin to streamline the system, and establish trust. (Have registered at the exchange. Just waiting for my registration-confirmation emai. Woo hoo!)

I think building on P2P trade is definitely a way forward.

With people losing trust in exchanges, building a solid P2P trade network throughout the community not only keeps trade flowing, but also steers buyers and sellers away from the centralisation of exchanges.

True decentralised trading. Fun too. Can also be stressful if your send button turns against you.

100 CBX for .074? I accept, to get the ball rolling.

Does anyone else have trouble registering at Banx.io? It just won't register me. The Cryptopia split: at this second: about 690-565.

Post your Btc address, and I will send first.

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

Sorry IMZ I had to go to sleep.

Still an average of .074 http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cryptogenic-bullion/#markets

181n9nss6WFRbkAAtCdBpj4gvN32EdtNax

I was having trouble with BANX from time to time while using google chrome , BANX seems to run smoother using Firefox.

P.S If I was certain the CBX address was still active in your sig I would of sent already  Smiley

EDIT: Seems other users of Banx.io were experiencing problems, looks like the problem is fixed now.

Guys! There is someone willing to part with large amounts of CBX at Cryptopia, for some odd reason, at very low prices... You can go get your inexpensive CBX there, for an amazing bargain, and better take advantage of PoSP. P2P trades are very cool but let's get those lowball CBX off the market first.

If I had the bitcoin Von I would've snaffled them up myself by now.

Dawn here in Western Australia. Reading as we speak.

Go, Elambert! Will register at the P2P exchange forthwith.

Will figure out the Banx.io, so I can figure the averages.

@Killiz: .074 sent to 181n9nss6WFRbkAAtCdBpj4gvN32EdtNax

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

On the road home IMZ, will update with tx id when I get in.

IMZ for some reason my vault won't send to that address in your sig.

At first I thought it was my client, so I reinstalled. Same problem. No message or anything just send button doesn't work. Just made a new address of my own and it sends between my addresses so it's not my client.

Edit: I've just asked in our IRC channel if one of the guys will try sending 1 CBX to your address to see if they have the same problem.

Will send the bitcoin back if this isn't resolved soon.

Edit 2: Will allow me to send to exchange but not your address Huh

dunno what happened there but that took some doing haha, just wasn't going to have it.

Anyway its sent, I can sleep easy tonight  Cheesy

Hey guys,
I have created a new board on the CBX forum for p2p trading. Feel free to use it.

That's great to see some P2P crypto exchange.
If you need an Escrow for it feel free to contact me Smiley

Thanks Alex, I trust IMZ enough on this one, don't know about him about me  Smiley but it's good to know you are willing to escrow on future trades.

By the way IMZ, I have left for work, will be back home 1:30am GMT or whatever that translates to Aussie time.

Please discuss the living daylights out of this:

P2P here:

one: let’s say a ‘solid’ price is the price at which you can buy, say, 10 CBX. That is, we ignore the bots ‘dust’ bids.

Two: say the buy-sell split is 690-565 [0.000690-0.000565]. Well, let’s think like wholesalers, and offer a somewhat better split – say, 680-570.

Three: let’s sell in ‘packets’ of 100 CBX (to begin. Bigger later).

Four: we patiently develop trust among ourselves here on the thread and elsewhere. (Bitcoin Charlie and IMZ, for example, were P2P-trading a year or more ago.)

Such trust can be the fulcrum of other projects.*

Five: one may post either just to buy, just to sell, buy and sell.

Six: so an offer might look like this:

Split: 680-570

I will sell 100 CBX to B.C. for .068 Btc.
I will buy 100 CBX from B.C. for .057 Btc

Mark

*IndiaMikeZulu ran its first P2P experiment in November, 2013. We’ve run five experimental exchanges altogether: some successful; some unsuccessful; had a run-in with a sociopath one time; have learned an amazing amount.
Have always ‘extended trust’ – I am always happy to send, say, 0.05 Btc first to any established community member. We could create an escrow later if that would help.
In two-and-a-half years of P2P, I’ve lost $70 – sadly, to an Australian. The positive benefits have been enormous.

Yea IMZ I'm with ya. Splits are wide open though across the board ATM so I will go for the average.

I will sell 100 CBX for .074 Btc or any amount up to 100 at the price of 0.00074 for the next hour.

I will be willing to participate in P2P trading of CBX for bitcoin.

I will sell for the average price across the exchanges provided by coinmarketcap http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cryptogenic-bullion/#markets

All proceeds will be used on the exchanges for support buy orders.

Please PM me if interested.

The Paper Dollar $$$$. The number 1 truly anonymous currency used in the world today.

If it is drugs, terrorism, trafficking or any other unlawful act you want to use a currency for, I would suggest the Dollar.

Everyone else is using it, untraced, for many years, perfectly.

A very interesting thing is occurring presently resultant to a few stars aligning.

1. Cryptsy is down and out for the foreseeable future and with it are 114,000+ CBX (11.75% of existing supply) held and now trapped there. It is reasonable to assume that a substantial portion of CBX owners who were looking to sell, had the majority if not all of their CBX holdings sitting at Cryptsy for that purpose. So basically those CBX owners with "weak hands" have been removed from the market and the already scarce supply of CBX available has been dramatically reduced even further.

2. Implementation of PoSP has not only created an eye-catching, unique point of differentiation and innovation for CBX, but more importantly is an evolutionary step ahead of what other cryptocurrencies are doing while fulfilling the strayed from promises of Satoshi's Bitcoin. PoSP has amplified the desirability of owning CBX for its function as a store of wealth with interest earnings potential far exceeding its inflationary rate. This results in less CBX for sale as savvy owners realize they can contribute to a secure and efficient network and get compensated for their service. As their Vault grows, so do their chances for earning more PoSP so the decentralization movement of CBX out of exchanges and cold storage and into personal Vaults continues to snowball.

3. There is little to no CBX available for sale. The 3 exchanges that presently trade CBX have about 1 BTC worth of CBX for sale before the 0.001 threshold with really no substantial quantities looking ahead in the order books.

A lot of upward pressure is brewing in a bit of a perfect storm.

Interesting indeed!

Also, that takes all top 4 addresses out of play for PoSP, and maybe altogether if they are lost or forgotten about. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!rich <<<<<(copy/paste for direct link, BCT not activating full link).
Look farther down the list and you can see quite a few addresses with large funds, unmoved for quite some time. Over 2 years for some. Maybe lost, maybe forgotten? Take these out of the equation and it brings the total active supply way lower than the actual total cap.
If we take this into account with elamberts points we can assume a very thin sell market in the future, along with an increasing buy pressure.

Next step is for everyone to start spreading the word.

I will be pushing to be added to more major exchanges shortly, and this will spread CBX thinner still once we are added to these.

Edit Top 5 on this list as wallet 5 has 3 sub addresses https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!wallets
That's another 31,866 CBX out of play Smiley
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: V2.3 UPDATE w/ PoSP | CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Est. 2013 on: January 16, 2016, 12:54:21 PM
Now that CBX is the best cryptocurrency.
Should the price rises towering.
For now everyone buys CBX in his corner, trying to have them as cheaply as possible.
What is normal but it does not favor the climbing prices.
It would create a site "Cryptobullion invest" on which all those interested in the CBX deposit bitcoins on an address.
1 month time for 80% of the sum collected is used to buy cbx directly into the seller's order book which will result in a live prices up to 20% are placed in the order book buyer to prevent prices not as fast they climb back down.
In the end the CBX will be shared with the percentage of bitcoins filed.
This project is not very complicated to carry out and to pull CBX up.
it is interesting for those who already have a number of cbx.
I can handle it by cons I have no credit, no one knows me.
Should be it a trusted administrator who manages the bitcoin address.
I hope that the translation is not too bad
End of 2016 1CBX = 1$

This is a good idea. I had a similar one a while back but can't remember where I posted it.
Only problem is, we may end up buying and selling to ourselves. We need new investment. The best way forward would be more awareness, i.e getting the word around about CBX.

If members on here were to add the site in their signature and use the CBX logo like I have, it is advertisement every time you post elsewhere on the forum. This would be a good start.

Edit: End 2016 CBX $1000

I believe CryptoBullion CBX to be one of the very few coins to survive the next few years and come out on top as one of the most important cryptocurrencies to use and hold. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=951753.0

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Killiz

When will CBX be listed on Bittrex or Poloniex?  That seems critical now that Cryptsy is biting the dust.

You are absolutely right. I think the main focus over the last few months has been the development of PoSP, and everyone on the development team, and also us in the community have been caught up in the anticipation of the hard fork.
Although it is inevitably the exchange that decides to list a coin, it is up to the community to initially push for its addition.
I will put together some contact info for major exchanges and start rallying the community for support.

Thanks hybridsole

Killiz

hi, , i just got home from work
i'm trying to send some coins to my vault from BANX      it asks for my pin # , i do that and then a red sign shows up and says
"error withdrawals disabled"
so, hey.....what the hell ?    Grin

but i thought this was better than cryptsy.........................................

frustrated

I've encountered that error a few times at Banx. Won't let u buy, sell or chat either. It usually only lasts briefly...

Site was also offline earlier today. Probably just some site maintenance going on.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PoSP is LIVE! | CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Est. 2013 on: January 05, 2016, 01:32:38 AM
I have about 6.8k CBX (in 4 chunks) in my wallet. I didn't mine any PoSP block since 1st January. Tell me please what I do wrong?
Wallet (2.1.1) is unlocked, 14 connections, block height is matching with block explorer.

Maybe I should divide my coins to more chunks?

I had a similar problem in the beginning when I hadn't staked anything in the first 13 hours or so. After moving coins around, I finally started PoSPing a couple of hours later. I don't know if this is by design or not (it's possible that older coins still work towards PoS instead of PoSP), and I surely don't swear by it, but it worked for me and some other CBXer.

That's right, this other CBXer  Cheesy had the same problem.
Some of my addresses and subaddresses weren't staking so I tried sending the funds to a new address. 1 hour later problem was fixed.

I posted a guide on page 56 of this thread, it might be worth reading sections 'Checking your addresses and inputs' and 'Consolidating inputs'

Great work Killiz, thank you!

I have added a link to the guides section of the CBX forum to the OP here at BitcoinTalk and also to the website.

Thanks, hope it helps those that are experiencing problems.

Sometimes when I leave my CryptoBullion vault wallet to stake overnight it intermittently crashes. Why is this? Should I try to re-download the blockchain?

Same-same!

This may fix the issue on some systems.

Checking your memory(RAM) usage for the client

Sometimes high physical memory usage can cause a Vault to crash while open for staking. This can be because you don't have enough physical memory (RAM) installed on your system, or because the Vault is using an increased amount to stake.
To check to see if the problem applies to your Vault, first make sure your Vault is closed, then press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Delete (on Windows) and open the Task Manager and select the processes tab.
Now open your Vault, but keep it locked. Check to see if your memory usage for the Vault stays stable. It should be around 0.4 - 0.6 GB usage, but quite stable with no significant change.
Now to check to see if staking your CBX is causing the problem, simply unlock your Vault and check the memory usage.
Staking CBX is quite memory intensive so a rise will be expected. However over long periods of staking, usage can build up to a point which your system cannot handle and the Vault crashes.

Checking Your Addresses and Inputs

Sometimes a high number of staking addresses and 'inputs' can cause a massive increase in memory usage when staking.
To check your 'inputs' first you must enable Bullion control to access this information.
In your client click on 'Settings' then 'Options' and select 'Display'.
You now need to enable 'Display Bullion control features' then click 'apply' then 'ok'.

To view your inputs click on 'Send Bullion'. You will now have the extra Bullion control features options.
Click on 'Inputs' and you will see a list of your staking addresses. The easiest way to see your inputs is to select 'List mode'. You can also click the arrow to the left of each address in 'Tree mode' to see the inputs for each address.
These inputs within each address are the actual amounts that will individually compete for a proof of stake block on the network. So if you have a large list of inputs, these will all be trying to stake a block at the same time, and potentially using up quite a large chunk of your systems Physical memory.

Consolidating Inputs

Sometimes an easy fix for high memory usage is to consolidate your inputs into one larger input or a few significantly larger inputs. The easiest way to do this is to create a 'new address' within the 'Receive Bullion' tab, and simply send your full balance to it. 'Bear in mind that doing this will reset your coin age back to zero for 'every input' and you will have to wait another hour before being eligible for staking!'
If you are a little more skilled, and want to spend the time, you can check the boxes next to each input to send specific inputs to one of your addresses, this can be done to clean up any small or negligible amounts that probably wouldn't find a block anyway if left alone.

Be careful when sending funds to yourself, always double check that the address you are sending to is your own!!
