181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 08, 2024, 06:53:47 PM
I'm skeptical about Mbappe joining Real Madrid. Every transfer window, a huge club wants him, yet he's still at PSG. Santi Aouna is known for his accuracy, yet football moves are always risky. PSG may be using "will he, won't he" to pressure Mbappe to commit or improve. Yes, Fabrizio Romano is the transfer confirmation oracle, but until he says, 'Here we go,' I'm skeptical. For any player, Real Madrid is alluring, but Mbappe's doing well at PSG. Why leave that unless it's an irresistible offer?

Mbappe's contract expires in the summer of 2024 and so far there seems to be no indication that he will actually extend it in Paris. He has a player option for a one-year extension which he could exercise at any time. If he wanted to stay in Paris, he would have done so already. Therefore, everything points to a leave, also because he finally wants to win a major club title and that is more likely in Madrid than at PSG. What's more, he would also be able to get a significantly higher salary if he left on a free transfer.
The rumors circulating about the difficulties in this transfer saga are not from Mbappe, but the difficulties lie with his own agent who is also Mbappe's mother.
So far there has been no meeting point between the agent and Real Madrid representatives. I don't know if it was because of salary issues or the bonuses given when Mbappe officially joined.
We all know that Mbappe's goal is Real Madrid, but the key to negotiations is completely held by his mother. This made things difficult for Perez because the transaction could not be carried out without the agent's agreement.
Madrid asked for a deadline in the middle of January, hopefully there will be a common ground soon so that Madrid will have other plans if Mbappe fails to join.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 08, 2024, 06:40:37 PM
Real Madrid are big guns in Europe and they’re also great and top when it comes to their league. It’s quite surprising how they’ve managed to still remain top and unbeaten without having a striker. It shows how good Ancelloti is in managing this boys, he really helped in bringing out their best this currently and currently they're performing beyond expectations,  Madrid would go far in all competitions this season.

That’s a quality of a good team headed by a quality coach and that makes them a threat both in Europe and in the Spanish League. Don Carlo knows how best to rotate this team and get the best from all the players. For their Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday, I’ll be giving Real Madrid the upper hands against City Rivals, Athletico Madrid. Because ReAl is better in almost everything and Althletico isn’t really much of a match to them.

I looked at the line-up against and I was really surprised by the players Ancelotti chose for that match. This means that they don't field several goal-scoring players but they are able to win the match. Arandina is not a top club but I think Don Carlo is quite smart in setting strategy and rotating players. But still without a pure striker but being able to dominate the league really makes me appreciate what Ancelotti is doing. Although I have doubts about the Champions League because we know that the level of matches there is much more competitive.
Against Arandina yesterday it shouldn't be a problem for Don Carlo, that's why he rotated his second line of players & several Castilla players.
However, this match will be different, because what they are facing are city rivals Atletico Madrid. We know that the tension in the second match is always high. Don Carlo must be smart in rotating players because if not, they will lose several more key players.
Moreover, the current CB position is very worrying because there are only Nacho and Rudiger who really have experience, the rest are filled by the Castilla academy. But in this match of course I will favor Real Madrid to win, no matter what the score is.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 08, 2024, 06:26:19 PM
Just a few months at Union Berlin doesn't seem to have made Leonardo Bonucci happy and he even had an argument with previous coach Urs Fischer because he didn't get proper playing minutes. Even though Union Berlin has now changed to a new coach, Nenad Bjelica doesn't make him a priority and continues to fill the bench.

There are new rumors circulating that seeing Leonardo Bonucci's discomfort in Germany, the Turkish team, Fenerbahce, is interested in recruiting him and I don't think it's a bad offer if Leonardo Bonucci still wants to play and get decent minutes outside Europe's top league. The decision will still have to wait another week to determine his choice and I think he will have to leave considering that he is no longer as competitive as when he was younger.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1744084502706618863
At the age of 36, it is indeed difficult to compete in the starting eleven of major league clubs. It's true that he should play at Fenerbahce or the Saudi Arabian League, which is more suitable for him.
But unfortunately so far there has been no offer from Saudi Arabia. Those confirmed to have interest in Bonucci are Fenerbahce. Even though the actual ability is still very decent, maybe it can last for 1-2 seasons.
On the other hand, Union Berlin also seems to have made a mistake in recruiting him, because he has played very few minutes. And Union Berlin is now in 15th position in the Bundesliga standings.
A loss because they cannot utilize Bonucci's wealth of experience to improve their performance.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 08, 2024, 05:48:32 PM
Last season's defending champions are nowhere to be found, yes that would be Sevilla who had to return home early from the Champions League without being able to participate in the Europa League. They are very famous in the European League, because they are recorded as champions here very often. Last season they also proved that they are a club that can compete in the European League and beat AS Roma in the final. But unfortunately they are now not here to spread threats to other clubs.
This season Sevilla are very worrying, they are not like the Sevilla I saw before. They are struggling to perform well in the matches they play. In La Liga they are now 16th, which doesn't speak well for a club that has won Europa League titles before.

Sevilla have been very bad in this half of the season. Of the 19 matches they lost 9 times, and only won 3 times, the rest ended in a draw.
I don't think Ramos' presence had a big impact, but the opposite happened. Even though the composition of their players is quite good.
Honestly, I think Sevilla are the kings of the European league, because they are the defending champions who always have a chance to win.
But I hope their performance improves because the second half of the season has just started.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there long-term profitable sports bettors? on: January 08, 2024, 04:48:05 PM
It's clear there are definitely players like that, even though there aren't many. Many factors influence it, especially if he has a close relationship with the dealer.
We cannot deny this because he will definitely bet consistently to win. A small player like me will definitely find it difficult to do that.
If you are an outsider, it will seem impossible to win the match. But the chance of winning in the long term will always be there, even if the percentage is only small.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gamblers do retired betting gambles on: January 07, 2024, 10:45:10 PM
When to stop or continue gambling cannot be determined by age. Sometimes elderly people still like to gamble because they think it will keep their brain functioning well and avoid dementia. I'm still not 100% sure whether gambling activities have a correlation with maintaining the brain function of elderly people in good condition in old age. They also don't have the ambition to win at gambling, but just want to have fun and fill the free time. Fortunately, nowadays you don't need to go to special gambling places to gamble, because online gambling now has so many platforms. I quite often find groups of elderly people gambling in small coffee shops in inland villages with their friends. Each other played gambling on their smartphones while joking and relaxing.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most logical and profitable game on: January 07, 2024, 10:00:46 PM
Of course sports betting and live casino have a more reasonable probability of winning. You are dealing with players too, not just the dealer.
Instead of playing slot machines where in my opinion the chance of winning is only 10-15%, the rest depends on your luck.
However, of all the things that are easiest to play are slots, we only need to place a bet then spin. There is no need to learn to read probabilities or difficult numbers like sports betting.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 07, 2024, 09:44:06 PM
Juventus were lucky to have won their game. It would have been worse considering the way they played and their position on the table.
Juventus was truly lucky to win tonight because the match was already a draw at 90th minutes until Dusan Vlahovic scored the winning goal and first minute of the extra time. This winning was very important for Juventus if they have to keep their title hopes alive because it reduces the gap between them and the top team Inter to two points.

Juventus' luck was ridiculous, they could barely get 3 points with the lowest ranking team Salernitana. Even though in the previous match Juventus managed to score 6 goals.
But Salernitana also needs to be appreciated for his game because he was almost able to hold Juventus to a draw. Salernitana also seems to have learned from their mistakes in the previous match.
Although in the end in injury time Vlahovic could be a savior for Juventus to shorten the gap with leaders Inter Milan.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 07, 2024, 09:26:04 PM
Quite some surprise results in the FA cup from the Premier League teams, they almost all of them have not won and we are at additional time now when the result are 1-1 for West Ham and 2-2 for Nottingham Forest.I know that most teams try their second formation when they are playing against lower division but that is unacceptable to not win against teams like Blackpool which is suffering a league down than Nottingham Forest. The same for West Ham,a team who won the Europa Conference League is not winning either against weaker teams playing in lower divisions.Luckily next week Premier League action will be back.

On average, when playing against a lower division club, EPL clubs will rotate using second tier players. Obviously this aims to minimize the fitness condition of their core players.
But they have to remember that the lower division teams will play more spartan and insist because they feel proud to be able to face an EPL club.
West Ham and Nottingham Forest are examples, they have to struggle to keep up with the games of these small clubs. Even though statistically it is clear that they are very favored to be able to win easily and score lots of goals.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 07, 2024, 04:05:06 PM
This seems to happen to many people, the way they think when gambling is different from the way they view everyday life.
Of course the factors are very varied, it could be the desire to win big at gambling. Therefore he will go all out and not use logic well so it looks like his alterego is working.

It is reported that Timo Werner will soon join Spurs and he will undergo a medical test to prepare himself as Spurs' new recruit this January. Timo Werner will soon sign a loan contract from Leipzig after he undergoes the medical test and this will be his second time returning to the EPL after previously wearing the Chelsea jersey several seasons ago.

Timo Werner certainly can't wait to be able to compete again in the most competitive league and considering that he rarely gets playing minutes at Leipzig, he has to prove at Spurs that he is still very worthy of being a mainstay on the front line. Timo Werner will also start training with the Spurs squad next week and soon we will see him make his debut wearing the Spurs jersey under the tutelage of coach Ange.

To be honest, it was surprising because observers saw that Werner's performance had begun to decline at Leipzig. However, Tottenham saw the opportunity to make him a temporary alternative for Son's position. Plus the loan value is relatively cheap for a player like Werner with his experience in the EPL while wearing a Chelsea uniform. What is in focus is whether he still has the same performance when he was still playing in the EPL or whether it will be a bad loan for Tottenham. Moreover, now Tottenham is in the top 5 position, which of course wants to continue to maintain its position in the top standings to compete with the top of the standings.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 07, 2024, 10:57:38 AM
I'm not sure people want to come to a clinic just to treat their gambling addiction. If gambling is one of the things that makes him happy, then he will do it continuously. Until the point where he runs out of money to play, he will stop.
I have quite a lot of friends who used to like gambling and could be said to be addicts. Now the majority of them have also stopped themselves because the main reason is that they have run out of money to play. But when they get a salary from their work, it will be used to gamble again until it runs out & stops.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 06, 2024, 11:03:18 PM
Timo Werner is back in the premier league by joining Tottenham Hotspurs on loan with the option to buy from RB Leipzig. His last stint with Chelsea was subpar and he hasn't got it going since, as seen in his stint with RB Leipzig where he scored 11 goals in 35 appearances.  Spurs are now fully focussed to sign Radu Dragusin from Genoa as they are in need of a few Center Backs and Radu fits the bill.
Actually, Werner's performance has declined a lot as you said. But for now, Tottenham needs another alternative striker to fill Son's vacant position while competing for the Asian Cup. Moreover, what are Tottenham hoping for in the winter market, on average they rarely get good strikers in the winter transfer market because most of them are still under contract until the end of the season. However, borrowing options are still very possible. However, the good thing is that Werner already understands the ins and outs of the Premier league, so it doesn't take long to quickly adapt. Of course, it will be even more exciting if Werner can appear in the match against Chelsea, and at the same time he can prove that he is still very worthy to compete in the Premier league.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: January 05, 2024, 10:20:56 PM
The real strongest candidates to win the Asian Cup are definitely Japan and Korea.
The squad is complete and many play in Europe. for South Korea there is Son Heung Min super star and top score totenham hotspur. Hwang He Chan is Wolverhampon's striker and is temporarily the top scorer in Wolverhamton's team.

I think that between the two, Japan has the biggest chance.
In friendly matches his performance was crazy, slaughtering all the opposing teams with a landslide score of over 3 goals.
Including them beating Germany with a convincing score of 4-1. This is good capital for them to become candidates to win the 2023 Asia Cup.
Coupled with the composition of their players who generally play in the top European leagues, only 5 of their players play in the local league. This shows that they have the best preparation for the Asian Cup.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 05, 2024, 08:38:11 PM
There are four teams in the Lalliga this season that are in a very active competition with each other, those teams have gotten a pattern of play which makes it easier for them to win other smaller teams when they meet them, but they only struggle with each other when they go head to head, and the team that is much stronger will eventually win.Madrid,Girona, Barcelona and Athletico have been the four best teams in the Lalliga, and they are the teams that will qualify for the top four and the Champions league next season.I think with what I have seen so far,Girona can go on to win the league, while Madrid will come out second this time.
How can you conclude that Girona can win La Liga, while Real Madrid and Girona's points are both 48 points. To become La Liga champions you need 90 points.
Of these five teams, Real Madrid, Girona, Barcelona, Bilbao and Atletico Madrid both have a chance of doing that. The second season has started, these five teams are already in good performance.

So it's too early to say that Girona will win La Liga, in terms of performance you might see that Girona has great potential.
But remember, Real Madrid and Barcelona have a mentality that is many times more established than Girona when it comes to winning the title.
So let's see at the end of the season, will Girona be able to get past that or vice versa. Wink
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2024, 07:53:27 PM
I keep asking Juventus board to give Massimiliano Allegri more time, things will run smoothly in Turin in couples months, he's a genius and have good credits when it comes to managing the team. I'm now starting to enjoy Juventus matches because they've been able to tighten their stellar performance to become consistent and not volatile as previous. Juventus humiliates Sportiva Salernitana with 6-1 and eliminated them from Coppa Italia competition. Juventus will face Sportiva Salernitana again this weekend, we expects the previous scores and poor performance from Salernitana not to repeat itself.
Juventus succeeding in beating Salernitana is not something complicated, of course with a score of 6 - 1 is the most reasonable score for Juventus to beat the match in the Copa Italia yesterday, I am also happy to see Juventus' game this season and I hope they don't get sanctions again in this season, learning from last season's mistakes which really cost Juventus because of the deduction of points.

The meeting between the two will be in the series A match in the next few days. Juventus will face Salernitana again, at least we have seen the results of yesterday's match, although maybe Salernitana will also make it difficult for Juventus to score goals because they also learned from yesterday's failure, I'm sure Juventus will not win a landslide like yesterday but they have to get the full three points to continue to keep up with Inter Milan at the top of the standings. Allegri will definitely put pressure on his team to play better from time to time.
From yesterday's defeat, Salernitana will of course try to provide a stronger opponent in the upcoming match. Moreover, they are the bottom of the standings.
Getting a draw will have a very good influence on Salernitana and will make Juventus' point with the top of the standings even further away.
Yes, we will see whether Juventus can do it perfectly like yesterday, or they will make it difficult for Salernitana.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 05, 2024, 07:35:15 PM
Ronaldo will win the top scorer trophy this title, I have no doubts about that. He is taking all the penalties and that alone could get him close to that trophy as one third of his goals is scored by penalty. But I don't know whether people really care when Ronaldo is the top scorer in the Saudi Professional League. I admire him for the records he has set in the Champions League, that's the reason I look up to him and have respect for him. I don't care whether he scores 20 goals or 40 goals in the SPL.
We don't know who will be the top scorer. Ronaldo is leading the top scorer now, but we don't know whether he will consistently in scoring goals until the end of the season. We don't forget that Mitrovic also compete for the top scorer status. Mitrovic already scored 17 goals, it is only 3 goals difference from Ronaldo's goals. I think Mitrovic is also the biggest candidate to win the top scorer status.

People will always care about anything Ronaldo does. If he becomes the top scorer and leads Al Nassr to win the trophy, people will be very enthusiastic about the achievement got by Ronaldo. Ronaldo has many fans around the world, the fans will always care with Ronaldo's achievement in any competition of football. He may score more than 30 goals this season.

No matter how many goals Cristiano scores and becomes top scorer, it won't change anything except the individual title for him.
To be able to win the Arab League trophy, of course, requires team collectiveness. That's what Al Hilal has done.
To be honest, Al Nassr should prioritize team cohesion and chemistry, rather than just relying on the individual Cristiano.
I hope Cristiano is able to make his teammates have the same vision because he is the captain.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 05, 2024, 06:53:57 PM

Well, when he says that then he knows what he is talking about. I think Ancelotti is aware about how long it will takes for his injured players to come back to training and to the fields and he knows that he has other temporary options. Additionally getting another defender, means more money to spend for a player to stay in the benches. I think Ancelotti needs to focus more on an attacker and maybe midfield for the long term. For short terms, he might get a defender with a short loan contract rather than signing him a couple of years one?
Ancelotti is an experienced coach and he understands that there is no point in him considering any short-term contracts for the players, since he is building a fundamental team for many years. And the fact that he expressed a desire to stay in the team and extended his contract until 2026 shows how much he enjoys working here. Moreover, I read that he says that he would like to stay in Real Madrid after 2026, and in this case you understand how much he can plan, how global his vision for the team is. He doesn't look one year ahead and is therefore only interested in long-term contracts for players and the team.
I think bringing in players on loan or short-term contracts at least until this season ends is one option that can be done, the article to find players intended for the long term will be more difficult because it needs to be careful in seeing the potential of the player. I also heard he wanted Varane to be part of Real Madrid again to cover the defensive shortcomings. And if you look at Varane's current age it is more appropriate for him to get a short-term contract or at least be borrowed from Manchester United.
Real Madrid are currently transitioning to regenerate their players and for now it is going quite well. By combining senior players and young players it is a very wise decision taken by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid rarely buys players in the winter transfer market. Most likely they will only pursue short-term borrowing options.
Because next season all their injured core players will return. The decider is at the end of the season who they have to buy, and who they sell.
For now, Madrid is more comfortable using their juniors in Castilla. The Castilla captain has just been promoted to the Real Madrid main squad to fill the CB position.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 05, 2024, 05:25:37 PM
I’m looking at how Tottenham will fare in the absence of Son when they host Manchester United next weekend. I haven’t seen any Tottenham game without Son because he’s always been present for them and he’s a top player who turns up in almost every game for them. I think it’ll be a big loss to them.
They’ll host Burnley in the FA Cup third round tonight, and it is the first of potentially six matches where Son could be missing while away with South Korea at the Asian Cup.
Son has scored 12 times this season, and I’m sure that they will also miss his influence off the pitch with vice-captains Cristian Romero and James Maddison both still injured. At the same time, while they lose Son, Sarr and Bissouma will join their African countries for their nation cups game.

I don’t think they’ll have a chance against this Manchester United side with the number of these absentees. They beat Manchester United in the first leg at home and I don’t think Manchester United will want to lose another game to Tottenham. I tip Manchester United to win this one.

In terms of player composition, Tottenham may lose to Man United, but remember, Postecoglou always works hard for every match even in the absence of several key players.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Man United often makes mistakes against underdog teams until they end up losing.
Moreover, Tottenham have always won the last 3 matches, this gives a good spirit to the team in the upcoming matches. Apart from that, they also want to compete for a position in the top 5 standings.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 04, 2024, 07:55:20 PM
Well, even though Arsenal have had some bad results recently, that doesn't mean that Arsenal have lost the title race this season. Because there is still a lot of time left. There are still at least 18 matches this season that Mikel Arteta and his troops, namely the Arsenal squad, must really take advantage of this season to reach the top of the standings. Currently Arsenal has the same number of points as Manchester City but has a 5 point difference with Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. Well this won't be easy for Arsenal. But they still have a chance.

Unlike last season, Arsenal doesn't have only Manchester City to fight for the league, they also have Liverpool and Aston Villa.
Aston Villa might be the least strongest of them all, but they have shown this season that it has what it takes to be among the title contenders.
Manchester City is ahead of Arsenal in 3rd position, 2 points behind Aston Villa, and 5 points behind Liverpool. Manchester City has a game in hand and a win in that game would take them to second position, just 2 points behind Liverpool while Liverpool would lose their highest goal scorer to his national team for the AFCON competition. While Manchester City trio of De Bruyne, Doku and Halland would be available.

Man City has the highest chance of fighting for the number 1 position because their core players will return like De Bruyne.
What we know is Haaland & De Bruyne are two terrible combinations for other teams.

However, Aston Villa can also take advantage of this condition after beating Arsenal, their mentality has increased drastically to be ready to win the next matches.
Meanwhile, standings leader Liverpool seems to still be very stable in performance. But Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City will be very busy because they are also playing in the Champions League.
So let's see as far as the dynamics that occur in the Premiere League next week, are there any interesting surprises to discuss here.
