I think it started from the draw result against Manchester United. Their display isn't effective anymore, and they found it hard to build attacks under the press of the opponents. If the way they play doesn't change immediately, I wont surprise if they would be fighting to finish top four.

Manchester city have been so stable, their consistency is convincing with the rotating players doesnt affect their gameplay and effectiveness. They have every condition to be the most favorite to win the league. On the other hand, Arsenal is having setback with the lost to Aston Villa at home. Arsenal's fixtures are also toughest among the three contenders, because the have to play against 3 historical rivals. All objective situations show that Manchester City have a big chance to be the champion of English Premier League this season.

The situation in Bayern team seems to make the players wanting to fresh challenge. I won't surprise if few players will make a move to another club if Tuchel stay at Bayern next season. Musiala is the talented young player and the most valuable asset right now for Bayern. I don't Bayern will let him go easily, Musiala himself won't go anywhere easily without a big reason.

If we talk about club's prestige, it's only Madrid that can persuade Musiala right now, because Bayern is already a big club with big european heritage. Only Money can persuade him to choose Manchester City over Bayern. For Bayern to make sure Musiala stay, They need to convince him with a better project in the future. This may include a fresh coach who suits his ability and style of play.  

We may say the Leverkusen vs Roma game as the real final after the elimination of Liverpool. The remarkable consistency of Leverkusen and the improvement of Roma under the new coach make it a tough game. It's quite bizarre to see that no Premier League clubs progresses to semi-finals despite having three teams in quarter finals. I think it has something to do with the fierce competition in the league title race, even Liverpool failed to progress in Europa League. Maybe they feel mentally fatigue, because the title race makes them having to push their limits.

They need to secure Ligue 1 trophy as soon as possible to have full focus on their biggest ambition of winning the Champions League. Dortmund may seem struggle in their league, but they are so different in Champions League. Dortmund survived for a tough group stage, showed their resilience and determination in the knock out stage. I think both teams have equal chance to reach the final.

One big valuable for PSG is that they have Luis Enrique as their manager who is an experienced coach in Champions League. Observing their game against Barcelona, PSG need to improve their performance. It's clear to see that they were actually not better team than Barca. I;m doubtful about their ability to beat Dortmund if they don't improve their performance.

Even though it's still possible, the chance for Barcelona to win the league is quite small. They have to win all of the remaining games including against Real Madrid to make their hope stay alive. If they don't win against Madrid, the chance will be completely over, and Madrid will be practically win the league. Slight advantage for Barca is that they can now focus on the league after being eliminated from Champions League, while Madrid will have to split their focus on the Champions League semi-final.

Despite having small chance, Barcelona should just fighting till the end with the hope of things will go in their favor. They should have mindset that the small chance can be gain, therefore they have to maintain their performance to keep the chance alive. This mentality is important for their squad as a lesson for their improvement in the future.

Leverkusen is proving their worth to be the favorite with staying unbeaten so far. The elimination of Liverpool makes their chance to win Europa League is quite open with high morale by winning Bundesliga soon. Their ability to maintain the performance keep them stay in the game in any circumstance makes them ready to face any team in the semi-final of Europa League.

If the can win Bundesliga sooner, it will be better for their focus on chasing their european trophy. Facing Roma in Europa League semi-final will be their toughest challenge in the competition this season. The have to be at their best without underestimating Roma that is on-fire currently. This will be the battle of two young coaches with the same ambition. Regardless who will reach the final, This two coaches will have bright career in the future with their respective clubs.

In the second leg, Barcelona will have to face the determination of PSG, because PSG put Champions League as their main ambition. One thing that make me doubting Barcelona go through comfortably is that their defense is still not the best. PSG will utilize the ability of Mbappe to penetrate the defense intensively.

Playing at home is an advantage for Barca, but it also can be a decisive situation if Barca is overconfident to play too open. Barca need to play safe ball-possession to prevent PSG having chances to have penetrating through-pass for Mbappe. Xavi needs to anticipate what Enrique try to do to split Barca's midfield and defense.

It will never be easy to win a trophy, but if Leverkusen can win Bundesliga early, they will face Europa League games with less pressure. I think this situation will make Leverkusen the most favorite team to lift the Europa League trophy. Liverpool will have very small chance to progress to semi-final, because Atalanta is not a weak team. Leading 3 goals will make Atalanta easier to protect their way to semi-final, because Liverpool still have Premier League to fight for.

Even though Leverpool surprisingly progress to semi-final, I would still put Leverkusen as favorite to win the trophy, because the stake will be different with Leverkusen lifting Bundesliga early. In decisive moment like this, being focus is very important. With Leverkusen winning the league early, they will be the team with the most focus on Europa League.

Arsenal being lost in the fierce title race is another surprise in Premier League. Aston Villa is a strong team this season that have ambition and chance to finish in top four position, Arsenal being lost at their own home is still a big surprise. This result makes football people in question about the mentality of Arsenal in decisive situation.

The losses of Liverpool and Arsenal make people much eager to put Manchester City as favorite to wi the league. The consistency of Manchester City in decisive moments proves that this advantageous situation is not luck for them. Having experience and strong mentality is always a big advantageous factor to win a competition. Manchester City need only to maintain their consistency till the end of the season for them to lift the Premier League trophy.

Realistically Real Madrid need a striker. If Mbappe will play as striker for Madrid, It would be no problem at all, but if Mbappe will play as Left Forward, Vinicius will be in a question. It sounds better for Inter to win Serie A with the winning against AC Milan, because of the sense of rivalry. Guardiola knows exactly what mindset needs to be applied in this situation. They have experience to go on with winning mentality when the title race approaching the end. We will see that they will have winning streak till the last game. Guardiola won't let his players make unaffordable mistake that can cost the the league title.

What makes Manchester City being a better team in this title race is that their players used to experience the intense of title race pressure. The know how to makes their weaker opponents to feel inferior on the pitch. This is why I think they have smallest chance to have slip-up compared to their two rivals. I think Liverpool and Arsenal carry more pressure than Manchester City do at this point.

Chelsea have a great financial resource, but they don't seem to have a good human resource. The failure in the last two season shows that they planning and recruitment. I don't think spending a big amount of money to sign many players is a good planning. Chelsea have less than 5 players who have played for the club more than 3 season. This type of recruitment is too rush and harsh.

This reality of Chelsea's situation is not ideal to build a strong team. Instead, this makes Pochettino hard to execute his plan to a achieve high target. I believe that he has not been sacked because the club didn't put high expectation on him considering the team is too new and young that is hard for any manager in the world to build a strong team in a short time. I think signing new players shouldn't be a new rush, they just need to improve the current players to a certain standard before they evaluate which area they need to strengthen.
