Just watched another episode of Naked & Afraid. These people went for something like two weeks without any food! You also see the poor people in other parts of the world (like Africa) go for long periods of starvation and are thin as humanly possible. How long have YOU personally gone without eating anything. I have gone for 4 days. Although I wasn't technically "starving", you can definitely feel your self getting weak and run down.

Well if I could do both that would be cool as well.. But ultimately the movie.
I can't say much about format because I have VideoLan as my main media player but it wont work on my smart TV. So i guess i need a way to make it where was can be watched on there as well.... PLEX and a $50 roku box works perfect. |

I use to use all the normal rippers/encoders (dvdclone,dvddecryter, DVD shrink, handbrake, Ect) but found it was easier just to download the torrent files. (Especially for blueray DVDs.)
I then have plex server setup on my PC. I can stream any movie to my Ipad, Roku/tv, or android phone.
This setup above works great unless you are trying to preserve the menu structure of the DVD. Then I use western digital live box and copy the ripped DVD in its entirety.
Btw, I have about a 1000 movies (quite a few "movie only" blueray rips) and I am only using up about 1.5 TB. 48TB is a lot of space!

Assuming you are not using a TOR client, anybody with access to the router logs used to hop to bitcointalk.org could find out where you are located.
This includes:
Your ISP
Routers used to hop to final destination
Admin of bitcointalk.org
NSA
And...
Any tracking virus or adware.
Google is one that heavily tracks you and your surfing habits so they can use it for the ads programs.

Oh shut the fuck up. You have no idea how security works. The journalist wrote a tear-grabbing article to seem edgy. End-device AV isn't a catch-all solution, but it's a layer of security. "45% of what's out there". That's an absolute fucking shit number. Say there's 100 new viruses, brand fucking new. It catches 45 / 100 on day 1. Then day 2 it catches another 10 more (as definitions are updated). By the end of week 1, all 100 viruses are in the signature database. The only way the virus can remain undetected is polymorphic code and self-modification. In the end, heuristic scans can detect that sort of behavior. Of course, you read an article on pcworld, so you must know everything about security and the entire security field. Right? Honestly, this entire fucking thread gave me cancer. Seriously, it's not that fucking complicated to download and install an AV product. Wow...somebody hasn't got laid in a very loooong time! Your sexual frustrations are showing in your posts. Anyhow, although I agree with some of your post, reality is antivirus programs are weak at best and give users a false sense of security. There is know way for them to know and detect everything being released day after day. They pretty much can only detect what they "know about" in their already discovered database. This gap is where people are vulnerable. So unless you are sand boxing your new installs and not running in admin mode you are at a potential risk. I am not stupid so I do run antivirus on my PC, but it's days as a useful utility are numbered. People need to take additional precautions and not solely rely on their AV suite. Btw...I run NO antivirus protection on my Ipad.(lol)...and it is jailbroken. |
