i got coolermaster 460 watt psu.
can this support one Cube ?
just wanna confirm.
thanks

how many amps has it on the 12V?

there is only one 6 pin connector,so i need use this video card power cord.
and below is the detail of psu, thanks a lot.

This power supply will not work.  Wattage is "barely" enough for one cube and the 12v rails are only 18a.  Minimum needed is 30....and I recommend 35+. ( I have had 30a psu not even work.)

Lol at OP post.  Probably should be moved to speculation.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how do people get amazon gift cards ??? on: January 09, 2014, 05:12:53 AM
Gyft.com...you can buy up to a $2,000 gift card with btc. I've bought target gift cards before. Super easy.

Gyft cards have only a 3% saving.  OP was wondering how some are 20-30% cheaper.
464  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter Cube - Additional Overclocking on: January 09, 2014, 12:54:27 AM
Sidehack,

What causes the cubes to no longer go into "high" mode?  I have 4 different cubes that clocked high for about 2 weeks.  Now none of them will overclock.  In fact, when I turn on "high" mode they seem to slow down.  I have them in a 30 degree garage (so cooling is not an issue) and I have them on two 1000w 80 Plus Gold power supplies.  I know one or two cards do not like to be over clocked because they "X" out in high mode.  I have tightened all heat sinks and moved cards around trying to get better combinations.  Any ideas?

Price on these is based in BTC not USD guys.. won't be a price decrease because of the exchange change so stop asking.

Of course there will be a price adjustment.  Btc has gone up $300 over the last week.  These machines are now essentially $900 (worth of bitcoins) more expensive.  Not to mention difficulty also impacts the price one is willing to pay for them.  I assure you the manufacturer is converting the bitcoins into their local currency to pay their workers and suppliers and shipping companies.

Update price inline with BTC spike and I'm in.
467  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 31, 2013, 06:00:25 PM

I have other computers but they are all running windows 64 bit. I was told that I can't run the cube with bfgminer on a 64 bit system.  As for friends and family, that is not an option.

Are there any other proxy servers than the one at Slush's Pool?

You can try the proxy listed on the first post.  It is easier to set up and less difficult then bfgminer.

Regarding ghash.io, I am not familiar if there is a setting.  Some pools do not allow adjustment.
468  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 31, 2013, 09:07:58 AM
What proxy you using and what pool? (i see your earlier posts now) It looks like the pool your using doesn't have the difficulty set correct.  For example, you want to set it to 32 (per cube) on btcguild.

--edit--
Also look at what mchu168 suggested.

Did you follow the advice in this thread?  Did you tighten all the heat sink screws and reseat the cards?  What is your screen showing?  The insides do not need to be outside the case or by an open window.  Give us a little more info and maybe someone can help you.
470  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ON HOLD] Group Buy #26 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 31, 2013, 04:30:19 AM

First off I got my 3 hubs today thank you.  You have been a very good seller to me no complaints and the 4 cubes I purchased all work I sold all 4 and mad a few bucks. Posted a trust for the hubs.

My thoughts all 4 cubes failed to work on 3 different  hi end seasonic psu's  . I happen to know that many corsair psu's are clones built by seasonic and that they are exactly the same.  So I would tell very one to not use Seasonic Platinum psu. or sea sonic gold and the corsair that are rebranded versions .  btw this is about 12 models of psu.   I had a cheaper model work fine from fsp it was an 800 watt model.  It allowed all 4 cubes to work.  I also had a problem with fans I put in a noctua hind 25 dollar fan and all 4 units buzzed when powered done.  I switch to 10 dollar silverstones and the power issues stopped.  so  these units are tricky.  If you have a good one please give us the make and model of your PSU.

the fan below moves enough air for low clocking and is quieter

this psu was good
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/833/pg1/fsp-everest-80plus-800w-psu-introduction.html

This one works excellent.  Can run 3 cubes on high (and small CPU) at once.  It is 80 plus gold rated (energy efficient) and I have seen them on Ebay for about $110. Comes with nice modular connectors. Whisper quite and runs cool.
I have two of them.

Someone in the same forum is Selling same product in .85 with Free shipping is it possible you ship your product for us?

Some Prices were as low as .75 BTC but I don't know if the price fluctuation of BTC is effecting the cube price variation.  Either way, there is no way to get a ROI at current prices. I like the cubes and hope later on we see a price reduction or an upgraded faster model.
473  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 29, 2013, 06:53:51 PM
You can make your cubes wireless with any wireless bridge.  There are posts talking about it earlier in the thread.  I recommend a wrt54g router with DD-WRT installed.  You can get them for less than $20 on Ebay.

474  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] batch #37 .85 btc per CUBE 30Gh/s - 38Gh/s on: December 29, 2013, 06:40:07 PM
re-opened.  I expect cubes to arrive Tuesday 12/31/2013.

the weight of 1 cube is 7 pounds for shipping.  1 label per cube. 8x8x8 box.

Price still 1BTC or has it been reduced?

price is .85 btc per cube

Hard to justify at these prices now when comparing these to the antminer and other hardware being released.  Do you know if Ascicminer will be reducing the pricing or if they plan on releasing a faster "V2" model?
475  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 29, 2013, 06:32:39 PM
since my Raspberry is already connected wireless to the internet is their a way to just get a ethernet splitter plug the splitter into my pi and connect my cubes via ethernet to the ethernet splitter on the pi and afterwards point the cubes to my pi's IP?

Are you talking about a switch or hub??

What is up with http://tigercoin.miners-point.com

Their pool ACTS like it's working. Assigning work, accepting blocks, rejecting an occasional one here and there. But they haven't hit a single block in the last 10 hours. That does not seem right at all. I know there is luck involved, but they should have hit something. Last block they hit was 163196. CoinEX is at 164086.

Anyone know how to get a hold of the pool operator to advise them?

I sent them a message through their support link on the website hours ago. No reply yet. Sad

I feel sorry for all the users who have left their rigs mining there.  Lot of wasted hashes...

Hey guys,

I have one of these cubes and I'm not sure how to actually get it to run with the clock set to high. It runs fine in low, but the second I set it to high I get all xxxx across all boards and all chips. I asked SSB who suggested I post in this thread for any tips. I have done the reseat/reboot/tighten down heat syncs etc. can anyone make some helpful suggestions who has seen this problem?

I just received a cube that doing the same thing.  I am going to pull it apart and retighten all the heat sinks and re-seat the boards.  If that doesn't work I will try one card at a time till I find the bad card(s).  I am also still waiting for another PS so it may be a day or two till I get around to it.
479  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 27, 2013, 02:53:35 AM
Anybody had an issue with fuses going bad? I had one melt on cube this morning. I took it apart, cleaned everything out, and then re-assembled it. Everything is working fine now.

I had two separate fuses melt/blow ( 2 separate cubes) after running 24 hours.  Replaced them and have not had any more issues.  Might just be cheap fuses they were shipped with.  Someone also pointed out the PS may not be putting out enough volts so more current is being pulled so you can check the voltage with a volt meter.  I am now running three machines on one PS and haven't had any issues for 2 weeks.

2. Can I mine alt currencies with this cube? anyone know how to? please guide.

You can mine any sha256 coin.  Setup is no different.  Just configure for whatever pool/coin you want to mine just like BTC.
