1801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Account Deletion on: October 11, 2022, 03:49:07 PM
And it says that admin can[2] delete accounts too, but i wonder if theymos really do it.
I haven't seen this throughout my forum journey for the last few years, at least I can't remember if I have seen a single time. However, theymos may consider if there's a good reason behind asking for the deletion of an account. If someone can convince theymos that deletion is necessary, I think theymos would do it.

You have shared a link where it says account can be deleted. It's an option available on smf but bitcointalk doesn't. Maybe theymos forgot to remove the message.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2022, 01:40:24 PM
My betting prowess is limp so far, but I'm going to take 1 pick against Real Madrid (Shakhtar didn't lose too badly actually)
Can't disagree with this. There's a good chance that Shakhtar may win the game. Haven't checked the odd yet. If I'm correct, Madrid lost a game against Shakhtar last season (or 20/21). I think it will be a draw tonight though I'm confused whether I will go for draw or Madrid to win. I have to take some risk now since I'm on 26th on the superbri list.

And yes, can you and bullrun please pick 4-4 draws in your games to keep things interesting?
Lol. Things have gone out of having a competition for the first place for me.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bangladesh has blocked 331 online casinos on: October 11, 2022, 01:26:00 PM
because online gambling sites in Bangladesh can still be accessed and used using a VPN
Using VPN is prohibited in many casinos including the famous ones. Very few casinos allow access through VPN. I haven't seen a lot of them. Besides, the average knowledge level of Bangladeshi people about internet is very poor and I doubt they would be able to gamble using VPN.
I'm personally not worried but it's very much possible for BTRC to know who are accessing gambling platforms.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Bangladesh has blocked 331 online casinos on: October 10, 2022, 01:24:06 PM
Recently, BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission) has blocked 331 online casino sites in the name of preventing gambling and money laundering. There were a few sites blocked from long ago including crypto casino stake.com though we could access the mirror version of stake through stake.games
Hate to see this to be honest when we have politicians who are almost openly laundering money.

1805  Other / Meta / Re: MODs, where art thou? on: October 10, 2022, 09:19:08 AM
Just few months before he started plagiarizing he was talking about it in his self-congratulatory post, meaning he knew what he was doing and what were the consequences of his action but he went with it anyway. Imho, in his case signature ban could be enough, but not to go without consequences like he did.
Did he plagiarize after the post you quoted? That means it was not an unintentional mistake. I don't think there should be any form of exception in such case. Mistakes are common, people barely read the forum rules. But if someone knowingly plagiarize, mod must ban them IMO. Exception should be for people with mistakes only.
1806  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Up to 57% Rakeback Wager - free on: October 10, 2022, 05:17:44 AM
The maximum withdrawal amount is not defined and will be reviewed from case to case, however, in the event of a large withdrawal request, we may elect to process no more than 20 BTC per week until the amount is fully settled.
Have you mentioned this anywhere to your website? If not yet, you must add this rules anywhere in your terms and conditions so that you don't have to face an issue later. I'm saying this from my experience here. There are some people who always look for tiny issue to ruin your reputation here. Better you mention everything on your site before facing an issue.
1807  Other / Meta / Re: MODs, where art thou? on: October 09, 2022, 04:25:02 PM

To get someone banned, The plagiarized post must be available on the forum. Moderators do not consider Post Scraping links like Loyce.club or Ninjastic. This is not my statement. One of the Mods said that, but I cannot find the Post now.
First time I hear about this and honestly doesn't make much sense to me. Can you please (or anyone else) find the source of that claim?

I knew I will get this question. So, I immediately started searching for the post. It takes 50 Minutes to find this post. Here it is,

Based on their own experience, global moderators do not consider links to posts from Ninjastic.space, as well as Loyce.club, as evidence. Posts that are used as evidence of any violation of the rules by users should be on the forum on a mandatory basis.
This makes sense why wouldn't mods trust such an archiving links. It is possible that TryNinja and/or LoyceV can manipulate the content in their website since they have access to their website, though we know any of them would never do that. But still, mods have their responsibility to ensure everything. Maybe that's why they don't take action based on such proofs.
1808  Other / Meta / Re: MODs, where art thou? on: October 09, 2022, 02:32:48 PM
I’m not advocating for this user to get banned. I’m just curious if a low ranking member also does the same, would the user be given a pass as well?
I have not yet gone through the case and don't know the update but for sure, there should be exceptions always based on users' contributions toward the forum. Someone may make a mistake when they share a piece of news but getting banned for that doesn't make any sense in my opinion. Regarding low-ranking members? It should be the same. There are also users who didn't get the pass despite being a senior members or higher. I really hope it makes sense to you. There are cases where signature banned has been given and I believe this should be practiced more.
1809  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Preev is down, Im happy to announce the official launch of Pnnv.com on: October 09, 2022, 03:32:20 AM
Can you please change the title now preev is not anymore down, it has been up for a few days if I'm correct? It sounds misleading/unethical, to be honest with you. You are spending a lot of time, and money on the project and the result is great as far as I can see from the screenshot. Your project is an independent one now, it's of course good to remove the name of preev from your project.

@Little Mouse first txn was yours?
Not sure if first but this one is mine- ac72507c72d4bd3f6a0f71b4f6276a5cdef2a7dfd54513716e9eb0da79159dc1
I had forgotten to update it here due to some activities IRL.
I think you should send PM to all the people who have shown interest to join the people. I was lucky enough to see this thread while browsing this board.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night on: October 08, 2022, 12:39:45 PM
So yeah now my dad has some Bitcoin in his Binance account.

Great and now let him know that "not your keys, not your coins." and share how he can have a non custodial wallet to store his bitcoins. I think that would be great. Not sure if you are about the series article on this issue written by o_e_l_e_o

1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T-20 CWC Prediction Pool 2022 on: October 08, 2022, 10:34:19 AM
Did you mean 1.5 mBTC or 0.00015 BTC. I think it was a mistake though I haven't read the other discussion thread in recent times. I was about to send 0.00015 BTC lol. Please fix it accordingly and confirm and let me be the first to pay the fee (have anyone? I haven't checked address balance yet).
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoCritique.com ⭐⭐⭐|⭐⭐ Unbiased & Outspoken Crypto Casino Guide on: October 08, 2022, 04:02:11 AM
Did Casino Critique team members changed recently and added new members or not?
I think I saw someone reported other forum members during campaign for collecting funds, and they quit their positions.
Maybe you should write some explanation about this.
Yes, team members have been changed a little. A few members have left because they were not able to maintain the time they have to spend on CasinoCritique. They have been replaced by others because we need some active content writers to accomplish the set goal as fast as possible.
Everyone in CasinoCritique has joined by knowing that we will not be paid if we don't get funding. Presale/IBCO has been passed too. However, a few members were inactive since the beginning and you can't achieve the goal with such inactive members, no disrespect to them as we all have our own life, and own decisions.
1814  Other / Meta / Re: Why there is NO meme category in this forum? on: October 08, 2022, 03:30:17 AM
I can't remember in which crypto forum (altcointalk may or something like that) I have seen a few hundred of boards lol and the feeling when I browsed the forum was horrible. I didn't anymore go to that forum. Do you want to have the same forum? With all these boards, the forum will be much crowding that a lot of people will have horrible feelings while visiting the forum. Right now, there are only a few boards necessary. LN board is one of them and I think that should be the priority.
1815  Other / Meta / Re: Do you want a BitcoinCleanup factoid? on: October 07, 2022, 09:45:16 AM
Why not?
I have a little read on the project. I liked the idea though I didn't go through the whole details. I have voted yes. If there are factoid ads open, it should promote the good project along with some historical posts, satoshi's posts.
1816  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgent loan request on: October 07, 2022, 03:51:03 AM
Just out of curiosity, what happens if you get removed from the Trustdice campaign before the loan is repaid? I'm sure whomever decides to loan you would have the same question.

No, you shouldn't be curious. I have a reputation to protect (believe that if you want) unless yunno the better. I can't waste a whole year growing an account just to ruin it for some neg tags as a defaulter.
In my country, in a rural area, small loans are given by many small organizations, banks, etc. When they give a loan, they always consider whether the borrower has any source of income to pay back the loan. They provide loans who have a job in most cases.
You have shared Signature Campaign income to pay back the loan. yahoo62278 was pointing out that if you get removed from the signature campaign, how would you pay back the loan? This is a very simple point of view from all the lenders of course.
1817  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk sending unsolicited e-mails (spam)? on: October 06, 2022, 02:10:51 PM
OP, this is very unlikely to happen in bitcointalk. I doubt theymos would ever sell the email addresses database. That would be ridiculous. Unless the forum database got hacked, I'm sure that theymos will never sell them to any service. You would be glad to know that theymos recently even stopped on forum ads too. Forum has more than enough funds to survive for a long time unless BTC price gets dropped significantly.

If bitcointalk staff are reading this, be honourable and don't delete this message - don't ban my account trying to hide it
Theymos practices "freedom of speech " as much as possible. You won't be banned, man.

Does it contain a crypto-related premium name, like bitcoin@mozmail or something? I know there are several bulk email name generator software , and that's what some email database sellers use for advertising services.
Have you read what NeuroticFish said? It's because Op has shared their email publicly while thinking that they had hidden the email address.
1818  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - crypto casino - Up to 57% Rakeback Wager - free on: October 06, 2022, 01:34:14 PM
Welcome here. just had a quick look and I'm impressed with the design. Maybe we are going to have another great casino. haven't created an account yet but I will check it out tonight and join. Can you please confirm whether you require KYC or not? I just read you are 100% crypto casino.

Edit- Just found the terms and conditions- https://metaspins.com/info/terms-and-conditions
1819  Economy / Securities / Re: [IBCO - Whitelist] ⚽🎰 Casino Critique⭐ FREE Chip for BCT Members ❤️‍🔥 on: October 06, 2022, 05:43:09 AM
Sorry, The Pharmacist if my tone didn't sound okay to you but I didn't mean something which you would find hard to interpret. Language barrier is a problem for a lot of people including me. Maybe that's where I and some other messed. I have no doubt about your proficiency in English, if I had I would veto when Chief decided to ask your help for proof reading.

Right now you have very limited outside funding (0.005BTC), but you said that if there's no escrow, there's going to be no outside funding.
Then it is very much likely that we will be returning the fund in the same address from where it has been sent.
1820  Economy / Lending / Re: If someone can get loan Without Collateral? on: October 05, 2022, 02:30:57 PM
Yes, but it's only for trusted users of the forum, not for everyone. You are not likely to get a loan without collateral(valid collateral only) unless someone is going to trust you for no reason.

Darkstar_ provides no collateral loan and so does shasan and others but as I said only for trusted users of the fprum. You can check Darkstar_ thread to see who gets a loan without collateral- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3243635.0
