1801  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: April 30, 2016, 02:35:01 PM
here in our country most people who uses bitcoin are girls/women, but the only problem on them is , they love to join on ponzis/hyip and in the end , they cry all day long, i have the chance to teach them about trading i will.but no one believes me.

people are really crazy to trust scams like ponzi schemes or hyipes.

it really makes me mad when they start crying after they lose money.
1802  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: April 30, 2016, 02:25:58 PM
I am new in this but just starting with Xapo which is not bad at all because its very simple to use and without fees its really good things which admire me
I am agree with you. ut there are somethings that not good at all. Like the login system, that's very anoying since we must wait for 30 seconds for skip the "popup".

yeah their website is a little annoying but this doesn't meant hey are scam or not legit.

1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: April 17, 2016, 01:36:41 PM
Seeing all these threads about martingale and various gambling systems. All I want to tell you is:

Gambling systems have been around for as long as gambling has. Yet no system has ever been proven to work.

Betting systems, are just gimmicks: Martingale, Parole, cancellation betting system etc. - everything in the end is as good as flat betting.

Couldnt agree more sir,there is no profitable way to gamble and no strategy there is to win in gambling,gambling is just base on luck.

that is right but these methods are not without their own benefits either.

they are a good way for sticking to some rules in gambling which is good to prevent loss.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 17, 2016, 01:28:20 PM
i think the best way is build a casino and let people gamble on your casino and you can enjoy your earning from your casino, even if you want gamble, you can just go to your casino.
You do not need to be rich to build an online casino. If you do not have coding skills you can hire somebody in a cheap country (India or Pakistan) through freelancer.com or many other websites. With a few bitcoins you can have a unique working casino. Add a lot more as a bank roll and you can start growing your business.

with only a couple of bitcoins you can not have a successful casino because there is a lot of expenses at first:
coding
hosting + domain
advertising and promotion
paying the winners
,....
1807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moneypot or Betdice on: April 17, 2016, 01:24:35 PM
if you want to choose between the two i would go with Moneypot because it is more popular than the other and also it has more games associated with it which makes more room.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: April 17, 2016, 01:19:52 PM
Eth drop because btc ggaining

Profit taking happening

https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/btc
Today eth is rising again. The roller coaster from the past months is over.
If it stays more stable it may have a real future. If it goes down hard it will be forgotten in 6 months.
another pumped is happening again price is going back to .021 btc would it be stable or what? I personally think that there's another pumper who's doing it hahaha. good luck just keep your hands empty with eth and goes back to btc.

when it gets pumped it would only mean more bitcoin in our pockets when we dump on the top, which is a very good deal because bitcoin price is rising.
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 17, 2016, 01:16:53 PM
eth quite simply cant maintain current price levels , thats why the price has dropped so much the past week. Even the current price is artificially high in my opinion. With an unlimited supply how can anyone expect the price to stay anywhere near what its been up to? Eth is supposed to be priced under a dollar per coin. Thats just how it is.

Sorry you're wrong. The supply is limited. Total ETH supply will be around 100 mil. Or only 5x bitcoin's supply. And right now 1 ETH is only 1/50 of BTC price. So theoretically ETH should be worth at least $80.

What determines that the market cap of the bitcoin and the Ethereumine should be the same? They  are different.

Yes, Ethereum should be worth at least 2x Bitcoin. So the more realistic value of 1 ETH is $160.

Rofl; Ethereum is produced at a significantly faster rate than Bitcoin, this means its value has to increase in order for its BTC exchange rate to hold.  ETH 2x BTC; How delusional are you?

haha, Eth already has 5 times more coins than bitcoin so in order to be worth 2x bitcoin price it has to have 10 times more demand which is never gonna happen.
1810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: April 16, 2016, 01:22:13 PM
i would love to see this happening in two years but i am afraid for reaching 3000-4000 USD bitcoin needs a lot more investors and a lot more adoption. but $1000-1500 is more realistic at this point.
1811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go to US$800+ on: April 16, 2016, 01:18:26 PM
yeah, why not.
$800 is only less than twice the curreny amount and also it is still >$300 less than the last ATH so i guessit is possible.
1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 16, 2016, 01:15:08 PM
Gambling addiction is much worse than drug addiction I think but worse if you are both addicted to both. If addiction cannot be controlled it might result to two certain things in life. You get rich or go bankrupt, but most of the time you go bankrupt. Cry

all addiction is bad, alcohol addiction will lead into violence, drug addiction will cause severe damage to your body, but according to a wise man, gamble addiction is the worst,  if you are alcohol or drugs addicted you have a limit in a day how much you can spend your money, but with gambling you can easily spend your whole fortune

nah, i still think alcohol addiction and substance abuse are the worst form of addiction, becase in these two you are both harming yourself physically in addition to financially.
but gambling is only financial problem!
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: April 16, 2016, 01:05:27 PM
Sometimes I think theoretically it is profitable. Take a dice game. How many times in a row you might have reds with 50% winning chance? At first I thought not more than 7 times. Played with that strategy, was winning some, but lost in the end having 12 reds. Then I thought well it couldn't be more than 12 reds. Played with that strategy, was winning some, but lost in the end having 16 reds. ... After that I stopped. )

i think that is how everybody leaves martingale method and also leaves playing dice behind.
i have had the same thing happening to me, you think the losing streak is not going to be big but when you see all those reds you realise you were wrong, i had 18 reds in a row before i quit for good.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: April 16, 2016, 12:59:09 PM
Recently Eibar played a poor state and Real Sociedad player very well recently
I think Real sociedad is more worth winning. I bet win for Real this time.

Eventhough in table fixture their rank is not so different, but Real Sociedad just beat Barca last times so their morale will be very high, and then eibar just suffered a huge lost from madrid, i think this match will go to real sociedad, i think you make a good choice

And the odds for Real Sociedad ML is so good though, i think i will pick Real Sociedad ML and over 2.5 goals. I thought Real Sociedad odds is small, but the odds are big.

yeah, i guess i will make the same bet also.

and it is only because of the good odds and also because i have a good feeling about it.
1815  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary Member?? on: April 16, 2016, 12:56:16 PM
i remember reading somewhere that activity goes down when a member is not active for some time, does rank stay or drop with activity points?
where you read that activity drops when a member is not active?
Not sure but it was a post about satoshi not being active anymore he will be a newbie one day.

He can not drop to newbie because his userclass is founder or i am wrong?

yeah that is another rankins system for them, but as for losing activity there is nothing mentioned in this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0 so i doubt if it is true, it must be arumour Wink

also satoshi's activity has been 364 forever and he has been inactive for 6 years https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To remember WHY Litecoin is a good investment on: April 16, 2016, 12:49:36 PM
To remember why Litecoin is the BEST and unmatched !!!!

1 -> China LOVES litecoin;
2 -> Litecoin is a China's Bitcoin
3 -> Never underestimate the Litecoin, just as China itself, the litecoin is a sleeping dragon;
4 -> If China wants to skyrocket LTC, they'll do LTC skyrocket, and BTC's too;
5 -> If Bitcoin skyrockets to 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 dollars, Litecoin will follow;
6 -> If bitcoin skyrockets, people will MASSIVE trade bitcoins for litecoins (BTC to LTC), because when the bitcoin rises in price, Litecoin rises several more times and the profit will be phenomenal.

Other altcoins, pre-mined, etc? monero, stellar, Ethereum (Auroracoin 2.0) -> easy way to make quick money and we've seen this story before.

i couldn't agree more with this.

people keep saying litecoin has nothing to offer and is the copy of bitcoin, i totally agree but it doesn't change any of these facts which are mentioned here and thus making LTC a good coin for a trader like me.

do you watch a lot of scifi movies?
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: April 16, 2016, 12:39:30 PM

There is only 1 thing to do.
Store them safely on a trezor or another offline device. This way you won't get 'robbed'
That is the best option indeed if you have lots of coins or a atleast in two figures.If you have only one or two coins like me,then go for paper wallet as trezor would be expensive

Trezor is really a great way to keep your bitcoins from unwanted withdrawals that might happen in an internet based wallet,my idle coins just sits on my wallet gaining value over time.

IMO you'd only need Trezor if you're holding like in the hundreds. Laminated paper wallets should serve the purpose otherwise.

i agree, i believe that buying trezor is for those who have thousands of dollars invested in bitcoin and want something cool to put their coins inside and it is a waste of money for the rest of us
