941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: February 23, 2017, 04:29:05 AM
My new the worst moment in gambling is yesterday when I losted 0.5 btc on roulette because I was so stupid ,i comed from 0.1 to 0.5 btc and i was going all in on red beccause it was valentine couple days ago so i was thinking that they will give me my red but black comed pff.
it is your greed problem. 0.5 BTC is huge amount almost $500+. Seriously you don't have control in your play. I will not bet 0.05 BTC in a single bet, but you made 0.5 BTC bet you are great. I don't have that many guts to play. But this is a very bad move for you. You will lose some more money in gambling. So control your mind and don't play all in ever.
I Agree , that move is a very wrong betting style ,Anyone who can see you betting all in will say you are in greed of winnings .
0.5 to go all in is a big lose ,But the point is if you learn from it ,if not better to stop gambling if you can't control yourself but if you can much better if you win again you are surely happy having even a small amount won .
A piece of advice Don't/Never Go All In .
Going all in wouldnt really be advisable but there are people do really like to see or know fast results which they cant afford to play on longer times and they do want to play all in but we all know chances of lossing is very high and those amounts will surely gone if your not lucky enough.

we are talking about gambling here and sometimes going all in is a part of the feeling you want to get out of gambling. some people like the risk and nothing else that is why they take bigger risks. and that means betting all you have in your bankroll.

and besides betting all your bankroll can also mean winning a lot since you are making a big bet. imagine if you bet 1BTC and with one click you win 1BTC isn't that wonderful? but that is only true if you accept the loss too.
942  Economy / Speculation / Re: Millionaires Massively investing in Bitcoin To Make It Mainstream on: February 23, 2017, 04:18:35 AM
Where did u get that from? is that just your thoughts or did u read it somewhere? If that's true than that would be great, tht could lead to more wealthy people investing into bitcoin in the near future.

I am one of them.

then sign a message from a key containing at least 1000BTC and share it here.

and to your main topic i have to say you are making wrong assumptions, millionaires aren't going to invest in bitcoin to increase its price. bitcoin price is going up with or without millionaires investing in it.

it is like saying Apple shares has gone up because millionaires invested in it when it was less than $1
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions confirmation time. on: February 23, 2017, 04:13:30 AM
https://blockchain.info/en/unconfirmed-transactions
fast confirmations are getting very expensive.

but it's "normal". every time bitcoin start to pump, people start to do way more transactions and that happens.

i seriously doubt that there is anything normal at all about a 92,000 unconfirmed transaction. a normal growth would have been 20 to 30K tops. this number is unreal and a spam attack for sure.
944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of BTC - up about 150% in the past 12 months. Reasons? on: February 21, 2017, 04:50:05 AM
the only reason for price rise is always adoption and nothing else. and more adoption leads to more demand and that simply rises the price based on supply and demand relationship.

all the rest of the factors such as capital flight!, ETF, and other weird things you hear in other topics, if they lead to more adoption that means they are contributing to rise by adding more people.

although halving means is the only thing that is contributing to less new supply so less sell pressure by miners hence price rise.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: February 21, 2017, 04:41:37 AM
In dice and roulette, experience will not help you anyhow to win...

well, i believe you still need some sort of experience in those games too.
of course it is obvious that you need lots of experience in the other types of gambling that are skill based such as the poker game and also the sports betting but even in dice if it is your very first time you won't be able to make a strategy, know how to make better plans, etc. not that it changes the final losing result in the long run but experience can increase the length of that long run.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you play Dice can you feel your heart in your throat? on: February 21, 2017, 04:32:11 AM
I don't know man every time I play dice or any game that you can lose fast or win fast just with a few clicks I can feel my heart tapping on my throat
loool, how about you?

that is the nature of gambling games, you are filled with thrill and excitement and that is what makes them addictive. but if you are getting way too excited that means you are either this way by nature or you are making big bets, in that case you have to decrease the size of your bets to reduce the risk and have more calm betting experience.
and if you don't then you will either quit gambling soon or lose a big amount of money and then leave it.
947  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 21, 2017, 04:23:31 AM
running a faucet is "Always" a bad idea and is a pain in the ass. because it is not only one thing that is hard but everything about this thing is hard.
for example the first thing is to find advertising networks that both pay good and don't restrict your account because it is a facuet.
the other thing is fighting the bots and the adblocks which everyone these days are using and will prevent you from making money.
and the third one is getting traffic and people to be stupid enough to waste their time on a faucet for earning dust.
948  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin Costs 2000$ on: February 21, 2017, 04:17:04 AM
What do we need to do to make 1 Bitcoin cost 2000$?
Do we need to invest and hold?
Do we need to make Bitcoin businesses?
Do we need to write more articles about Bitcoin for top news websites?
Do we need ask top 1 Youtube Blogger "PewDiePie" to promote Bitcoin?
Do we need to do it all?

What cause Bitcoin price to increase?
The more demand we have the bigger the price?
So we just need more people buying Bitcoin instead of selling?

well, all of these are very helpful solutions to get the word out there so that more people find out about bitcoin. but we can just buy and hold to wait for the price to go up.
although as a regulare user i think if you can only tell the people around you about bitcoin you already acheive a lot.
running a business, etc are good but not for regular users.

and in short the only cause for bitcoin price that can stick around is more adoption. all the hype,... rises won't last longer than 2 weeks.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollars And Euros Removed How We Determine The Value Of Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2017, 04:11:11 AM
Right now we determine the value of bitcoin by dollars, euros and other currencies, but if we remove all the currencies and use only Bitcoin how we can know what is the value of Bitcoin?
Do we need to use MBTC then?

they are never going to be removed because they are fiat and millions of people are using them and will continue using them.

but if it is removed we are back to stone ages and we would have to measure the value based on other objects. like how many animal skin does 1 bitcoin buy Cheesy
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Op-ed: Impossible to de-Chinalize Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 04:11:33 AM
actually it seems like it was perfectly possible to do that. China did de-Chinalize themselves. we no longer can see the same volume coming from China and then with the latest restrictions the volume on exchanges went to practically zero and everyone is not OTC trading.

i hope at least one good thing comes out of this when we stop seeing so many China FUD.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 20, 2017, 04:05:16 AM
Supertition has always been a part of gambling and i can't say i have Supertition but i certainly feel like it sometimes.
this comes from the fact that gambling is a random thing and you can never predict anthing about it, that is why people try to associate it with extratrestrial events and things that they don't know. and because of this randomness, sometimes they win and thing their beief in a Supertition was correct and they keep doing it more.
but if you think about it more you can see there is no Supertition in our logical world.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: February 20, 2017, 03:58:28 AM
You forgot probably the most important features of bitcoin, first bitcoin is decentralized and you are your own bank and no one can grab your coins without your permission, unless you are hacked of course.

Yes, this is one of the main advantages of Bitcoin. But there are many other important points. For instance what Bitcoin is not subject to inflation. It is also very important
Yes, there are numerous things about bitcoin to choose it. But like many common people, I am also preferring the no authority nature of bitcoins as I was not finding better stay with Paypal. The investment option must be another reasons why I am into bitcoins and why I am saving it for my future.

Yes, If you have savings why not put a portion in bitcoin. It doesn't do you any good in your bank account.

the keyword that everyone should pay attention to is "a portion of" and that should be the most important thing when it comes to investing. and that portion should be something that you can afford to lose and also at the same time should be an amount that you can buy a decent amount and make a decent profit when price goes up.
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Estimated price of 1 bitcoin in 6 months?? on: February 20, 2017, 03:53:15 AM
2017 should be a very good year for Bitcoin. We started pretty good for now, and we can easily touch $1300 in a month or two. At the end of the year, 1,7-1,8 is very possible. That's a 35-40% bump within a half year.

i agree, we have got so many good news coming for bitcoin too. with Trump's bitcoin freindly financial team i am sure we will see a lot of things too. and besides the 40% rise is nothing for bitcoin, we always see at least 100% rises for it in a year and if this year lives up to the expectation and then the ETF is approved i can expect $2000+ by the end of the year.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 03:47:49 AM
Biggest companies accepted Bitcoin already, now Bitcoin will spread, more small businesses will accept Bitcoin.

Who have bought already?

P.S
Also Dell and Tesla accepting Bitcoin:

https://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/campaigns/bitcoin-marketing

it is always good to hear about new businesses accepting bitcoin but Mercedes Benz accepting bitcoin is a small one in my opinion because it is not a day to day thing and most people don't want to spend that much bitcoin anyways.

and Dell has been accepting bitcoin for a very long time. it is not a new thing.
955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Proton Mail vs Gmail? on: February 19, 2017, 09:31:11 AM
protonmail is based on the opensource. but in fact to develop a mail platform we need a variety of important elements, such as security. today gmail certainly has the most advanced security features compared to other mail platforms.

how do you even say that?
have you checked the security of google email service versus other email provides such as protonmail and came to that conclusion?

because in my experience when it comes to open source projects and security the more people that are working on the project and the more open the project is, it becomes easier to find out bugs and make it safer rather than a closed source thing that only a certain number of people no matter how experienced are working on it.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: February 19, 2017, 09:19:00 AM
I consider trading, along with any kind of investing/speculating, as forms of gambling. If there is a chance or possibility - even a 0.001% chance - that you could lose some or all your money, then to me it's gambling. Even if you are the number one best trader in the universe and know all the analysis and secret information there is to know, it is no guarantee that you won't lose, whether in the short term or long term.

Not to say people can't profit and earn through trading of course, just saying it's a form of gambling, imo.

you are just word playing and you don't know the meaning of gambling.
you can call a "glass water" a "shoe" but that does't make the glass a shoe!

calling investment, or trading as gambling doesn't make it true. gambling is something that you have no idea about the risks and they are always high. for example when you roll a dice or bet on whether a team is going to win a match, you have no idea what can happen and can never predict. and losing means losing all.
but when you trade or invest the risk can be calculated and avoided if there is any risk.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 19, 2017, 09:09:50 AM
i will always cash out any winning profit that i can make from gambling. because i have very bad bunch of experiences making me wish i never made those mstakes, every time i won something and didn't cash out i ended up losing both the profit and even more from my bankroll trying to win it back.
i promised myslef never again.
958  Economy / Speculation / Re: 11th March, SEC approve or not bitcoin in ETF on: February 19, 2017, 09:03:16 AM
Hi everyone,

I have read that the 11th March is the deadline for the SEC ( Security and Exchange Commission ) to approve... or not Bitcoin in ETF ( Exchange Trade Fund ). What does that exactly mean for Bitcoin? Will there be a boom in prices if it is approved? Will there be a drop if it is rejected? Or nothing?

Thanks for your opinions. I am looking forward to invest many bitcoins but i would actually see whenever it has the best price before a next boom.

if you want to invest in bitcoin, the only thing tha you need to know about bitcoin is that its price is rising and it is going to rise because there will always be an increasing amount of demand for bitcoin and the supply is not rising with the same rate and it has a cap.
the ETF you are talking about will cause this demand to rise at a higher rate which means a faster price rise for bitcoin specially in short term.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Trends: a big rise in interest in bitcoin specially in Africa on: February 19, 2017, 08:56:58 AM
I wonder what prompted this sudden interest from Nigeria especially?
Is Nigeria's currency somewhat unstable at the moment or are the scammers there just discovering Bitcoin all of a sudden?

Nigeria is an oil economy and they have been struggling a bit since the oil price collapsed from the $100 level in 2014. Though of course they are in better shape than Russia or Venezuela.

The Nigerian economy is in deep recession, and Russia is faring much better. In 2016, the Nigerian economy shrunk by 1.54% (worse than the predictions), while the Russian economy shrunk by just 0.2% (much better than the expectations).

but nothing you said in these comments are the reason from inreased interest towards bitcoin in African countries. the economy and all these other things can always affect the fact that people seek other investments to make more money but they are more interested in bitcoin because of all the rises that bitcoin had in the past years.
people around the world are all interested in bitcoin. you can't see it on google trends sometimes because they search for it in their own language.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: February 18, 2017, 03:58:57 AM
Probably live gambling in the casino. Mostly for entertainment purposes.

i don't think there is anybody around these parts that doesn't like live gambling in a real casino. we all love to be bale to do it, and it is indeed entertaining.

but not all of us get to do it. because some countries don't even allow gambling so obviously they do not have any live casino.
some one places only have good casinos in other cities so you will have to travel to another city, spend a day or so to be able to gamble there.
in both cases we are left with online gambling.
