861  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price is the Moon landing? on: March 12, 2017, 03:49:10 AM
With all this talk of Bitcoin going to the moon, i was wondering what people think will be the moon landing price?  I think at $10,000 we have landed.  Need to get my moon boots ready.  Grin

moon is usually a big rise and doesn't have to be a specific number. usually when price goes up for example a 10-20% and people get a big profit in a short time they start saying it was moon.
but the real highest price in my opinion doesn't exist. as long as bitcoin is growing and getting adopted the price can go up even past 10,000
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 11, 2017, 04:46:46 AM
I have favorite numbers, that is some kind of superstition. I always choose them when I bet, or I count to that numbers. I'm not some freak about it, I have my limits. I like to listen good music and I dont like big lights, but that is more about ambient and comfort, all thou its a part of superstition, how can we gamble and win if we don't feel comfortable. Except that and favorite numbers I'm very good and reasonable person.

don't worry everybody has some level of superstition like this, even those claminig they don't have it, you can see they are always more willing to do certain things that others like choose a certain number because it seems to be more winning number!
i think it is safe to say that these types of stuff is also a part of human nature like being greedy.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What type of sports you love in sports betting and why? on: March 11, 2017, 04:40:26 AM
I bet on steam games like LoL or Dota 2, this season they have the Kiev Major which is really pumping me up. I bet on these games because I am a player too and it is really fun and exciting watching your team wins, it is also a way to get some moves from the professional players.

i have never tried LOL but i am a big fac of DOta2 and i have been betting on the games even before i found out about bitcoin. i was doing it either on gosugames with their ironwood branches and after they added item betting and other places. and when i started with bitcoin i did it with bitcoin too. and i really get why people say you have to like the games to be able to win more and enjoy sports betting.
864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin done? on: March 11, 2017, 04:34:46 AM
please take a look at the history for once in your life!

bitcoin wasn't created to be used in ETFs and by investors through third parties. it was meant to be used directly and p2p without anyone in the middle.
also in the past 8 years bitcoin hasn't been rising because of ETF, i bet you only found out about it less than 3 weeks ago.
and because of these bitcoin will continue going strong the same as before after we get over this weak hands shakeout.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the transaction fee will kill bitcoin? on: March 11, 2017, 04:29:43 AM
Right now on my wallet, I want to transfer money from my Android wallet to my cold storage wallet. The fee is so high, that it's not worth to initiate the transfer, everyone says bitcoin has the lower fee to transfer value over service like the Western Union.

I am very disappointed with the fee, what is your view about the transaction fee? Do you think that that will be the beginning of the end for bitcoin?

no it won't kill bitcoin but it will change it, and that change won't be for the better.
bitcoin will stop being a digital cash and will become something that you only buy if you have lots of money to make more money from the fluctuation of price and nothing else.
this also means we have to forget about mass adoption.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF Rejected on: March 11, 2017, 04:22:50 AM
oh man i was wishing to wake up to a nice price rise this morning, but i woke up to an ETF rejected and price being the same as it was before. haha.
back to work everybody, useless ETF is no more.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I exchange one BTC for one month of labor? on: March 10, 2017, 04:16:40 AM
one problem with bitocoin only salary is that you need to spend money to stay alive! like buying groceries and paying the bills and stuff. and for all of these things you need fiat.

so you either have to keep exchanging bitcoin for fiat and buy with it or you have to go through a third party that offers some kind of card you can use and end up paying higher fees.

another problem is the price. lets say you got paid at 8000 yuan and 5 days later you wanted to buy something and price was at 7800 CNY what will be the plan!
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: March 10, 2017, 04:08:04 AM
Small investment only made small profit if you have put faith on spesific site which I'm consider unworth for your time and bitcoin.
Small investment only for people who want to test out site's profit summary before invest bigger amount, IMO
If you want to made big profit, you need made a big investment ( dare to take the risk or nothing at all ! )

Small investments can work because in gambling winning chances are low so you don't have to face a big loss in case of loosing a bet, the more you invest the more you lost. Though investing small amounts gives small profit but it's good for a gambler if he don't want to loose big amount.

what you are saying is correct but it is off-topic here.
you need to read the first post and the topic first to understand what people are talking about first them comment on it!!

here it is investing in casino's bank roll not investing in gambling. and when you gamble with your money, it is right the small amount is better. but when you investin a casino then in case of loss you only lose a percentage of your money not all of it because you are a part of the bankroll.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are dice sites reliable? on: March 10, 2017, 04:01:50 AM
Most dice sites offer the "third party verification" feature.

Provably fair was created mainly to ensure that dice sites are reliable!

That's true, but I'd still stick to more established and reputable casinos. Provably fair doesn't guarantee you will be allowed to win and cash out.
It's easy to implement provably fair function and then take people's winnings and close the site down.

Yes... Only provably fair isn't enough as proof of a reliable casino. The casino can be provably fair and scam everybody when gamblers try to cashout or any moment saying the site was hacked or any other thing like this...

I just play at reliable sites, those trusted sites here on Bitcointalk forum. New casinos and unknown casinos can be good, but I prefer to play at the old and trusted casinos.

i prefer to playing gambling with the old and trusted casinos like you because i think its fine if we trying to play gambling with new site, but for me, its because i want to trying that new site and see the chance for me to win the games. beside that, the new site need to give a proof if their site is really good for gamblers to play in that site and maybe they can give a bonus for the member to attract people to played. i think all the gambling site is provably fair but its depend on what games we've played and how big our luck in that games.

well we need to give new sites a chance too. you can't just stick to the old ones just there are old. for example the site you are advertising in your signature is a new dice site which started very interesting.
i am not saying to switch completely or blindly trust them, my favorite dice is bitsler but i always try new ones too, maybe i find some good features, some good giveaways,... i like to have many options and choose freely.
870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Article explains how BATs rule change on 3.7.17 indicates ETF approval on: March 10, 2017, 03:57:21 AM
I hope it gets approved so we can move on to more pressing matters.

yeah, me too. this is being dragged on for too long and when price rises or even stays stable people aren't distracted anymore.

and besides i believe this can lead to a lot more adoption because in case of approval bitcoin (indirectly) will be officially reliable investment. regular people wouldn't just ignore bitcoin because it is digital money.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Blockchain.info is in a good position despite the rising fees on: March 10, 2017, 03:50:31 AM
when i started using bitcoin i did it because it was a stand alone decentralized currency that i didn't need anyone to use. this means i build the wallet myself, make the transactions myself and broadcast them myself, and i could even mine them myself long time ago.
apart from mining if we want to start using third parties i think i am just going to use my bank instead. it doesn't have fees in my country. and just keep bitcoin as investment.
872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders are pigs on markets on: March 09, 2017, 04:14:52 AM
well there is always two sides in a trade, one loses and the other one wins it doesn't have to be in equal numbers, it can be majority losing and minority winning. but it happens and it is how the rest of the world works too, you can not blame anyone.
i was losing money once, but i learned from my mistakes and slowly tried my best to join the winning side and i always try to stay on the winning side and everybody else can too.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: March 09, 2017, 04:08:00 AM
Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to start a topic but I really want some answers and it's connected to gambling in a way. I'm thinking about picking a casino and investing in it, so that I can have some small income every month (if everything goes okay). What I wanted to ask is if that is possible to see the information about casinos' income per day or month for now or is it private information nobod really gives that easily? And do you think investing in casino is a good idea, by the way? Thank you.
Your asking a very personal information about their income, and if ever there is chance that they will give you a profit fix monthly, for sure there is a condition between you and the casino owner. It could be you need to invest to their casino as a partnership to them. And investing in casino if this a good way, this will depend on you of how the gambler give it an interpretation.

wut!!! how is tha a personal question!
when you invest or want to invest in a business, no matter what it is, you are allowed to ask all these questions about how much they earn, what they have and how they are earning it. they are asking for your hard earned money so your are entitled to ask as many questions as you want to make sure that business is going to make you money and it is safe enough to trust with your money in first place.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: March 09, 2017, 03:58:22 AM
But if we consider gambling just a luck game (98% luck game), any strategy will lead us to the bankrrupcy, no?

Martingale or any other method you use to bet, sooner or later you will lose your balance, on long term it's impossible to beat the house. Sometimes one or another gambler claims to win on long term, but I'm not really sure about this.
The fact is you cannot measure your luck and you cannot even determine when it will stay when you feel you are lucky, when luck comes to us we should know that it's only temporary and that is why sometimes we win if we are discipline too. Martingale is a from of bankroll management and like any other forms, it will not help you to win but your ability to select games and predict it right most of the time will.

you don't need to measure your luck to be able to win. you just need to be lucky and have luck on your side.
and in martingale system you can never have luck on your side because you are playing against the house with a house edge and that means the edge is giving your luck to the house instead and makes them win specially in the long run.
875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy, Sell, or just watch on: March 09, 2017, 03:53:12 AM
the answer is obvious : buy

and i'll tell you why. all these things you are seeing these days are temporary. it may take a while till they are over but they will be over eventually and when they are over price will surge up and break $1300 and that is the least price.

so buying now means profit, buying lower means more profit, missing the chance of buying at these prices means kicking yourself why you didn't
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 09, 2017, 03:48:11 AM
bitcoin is money so it doesn't even make sense to call saving it for fun! i buy it with fiat money and also work for earninng it and then save it up for the future only. nothing else really matters.
and when i say future it means at least 5 to 10 years
877  Economy / Economics / Re: China and price on: March 08, 2017, 05:00:25 AM
I am sure that the Chinese miners have a great impact on Bitcoin. The price is related to the complexity of Bitcoin mining, and extract him most in China

i also believe this, because without miners there is no bitcoin, and to make miners keep running you need to give them the profit, which mean that bitcoin must have a certain profit to help their investment that is growing and that is securing the network, but the today value imho, is also related to bitcoin growing in the world and better adoption not only mining

Yea they have a really great impact but they will not have anymore because bitcoin is more and more popular in Europe and there are many projects with bitcoin with which Europe will have bigger affect to bitcoin then China.I know this because I know some really important businessmanns and I am also one of them.

i don't know if you are joking or not but you really don't need to be someone to know that China is not big and no other country can control bitcoin. it is just because they have a lot of hash rate and their share of the mining hashrate has been shrinking for a while because other places like Georgia is coming into mining scene with lots of hashrate.
878  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's with the price dropping? on: March 08, 2017, 04:50:31 AM
it is all about drama once again like the other times before. one miner said something about one of these block size proposals and now everyone is spreading FUD and becoming experts in everything while whales dumping to manipulate weak hands into selling them their coins Cheesy
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: March 08, 2017, 04:32:33 AM
-snipped-
i think gambling is more risky to rich people as they have a lot of money to lose, while the poor people have very limited amount money to invest in gambling and therefor their risk of losing money is also less as compare to rich people.

actually it is not. what you are missing is what a rich people means. someone who is already rich has lots of money and even if he loses a big amount of money in a casino one day, there is always more money in his bank account he has just lost his pocket money but that amount looks big to you and me Smiley
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for dice from faucet on: March 08, 2017, 04:10:40 AM
i haven't done much of a faucet play with strategy, but i have done so much faucet claims. and since it is too small a amount to do anything with, i usually choose a big multiplier so that i can make a big amount in case i win. it is usually with a low chance of winning such as 5-10% to win.
and one win is enough to get rich Smiley
