1821  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest a cryto spoortsbookmakers with a free btc giveaway on: September 06, 2022, 08:01:14 PM
If I’m not mistaken, Freebitco.in was started in faucet industry and they just have gambling games in there faucet to attract all there faucet user to gamble there earned Bitcoin.
I confirm. I remember when I first heard of bitcoin, few years ago, the only way to get some of it here was through faucets. I used many of them and freebitcoin.in was one of the best and most generous faucets back then.
But, to be honest, right now faucets are a waste of time. You can check the list of casinos which give free sats in pmalek's thread (mentioned before) but you will realize that they are not worth your effort nor your time. Even if they give you enough money to test their casino, they will have restrictions to prevent you from withdrawing (min deposit, wagering requirement...)
1822  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: September 06, 2022, 05:56:31 PM
Good work team to see that your Ethereum network is working as many casinos are closing down Ethereum network withdrawal and deposit services because of the Ethereum merge coming up soon.
It's not their ethereum network, they use superpay as payment processor so the issue could be from their side.
Not really sure why bk8 suspended eth deposits/withdrawals but most crypto services did it because of high transactions fees not because of the upcoming hard fork. No customer is willing to use the ethereum network because of its unbearable fees.

As for chat rooms, I personally don't really like it, because this feature will only become chats full of promotional spam. I saw it in the live chat at the BK8 live casino.
Personally, I like that feature as it ads more life to the platform. Regarding the spam issue, I believe few active chat admins or a good bot can easily handle it.
1823  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 06, 2022, 04:29:50 PM
^^
True! Gambling is meant/designed to be a mean of entertainment. People spend money on gambling to have fun with a small chance to get back their money or even make a profit which adds more fun.
If you feel unconftorbale when you gamble (ex. anxiety, stress, remorse...) then you are in it for the wrong reason like thinking it's a fast way to make money or because you are gambling more than you can afford to lose. In both cases, you should stop right away.
1824  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🧿🧿🧿Deposit 10$ Get 200 $ YAS.BET Online Sports, Live Casino,Betting 🧿🧿🧿 on: September 06, 2022, 03:17:56 PM

I hope you will not take this personally, but I think it is inappropriate to mention or talk about a casino in the announcement thread if another casino. What you said about them is true and we all know that and I know you mentioned them to make a point. Whoever visit this thread is only interested to read about yas.bet if they want to know more about another casino then they can go to their Ann thread or the scam accusation board.
I'm in no position to dictate to you what to say or write, it's just my opinion so, again, don't take it personally.
1825  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: September 05, 2022, 11:58:52 PM
If someone had break the algorithm and be able to sync with the result of the slots, then he can deliberately increase and decrease his bet to minimize losses and maximize winnings.  One example, if a player know that the next spin will trigger a bonus round and the bonus round will pay, then he can adjust his bet to maximum allowable and take the winnings.
Although mist slot games are closed source, I don't believe the algorithm or the formula used to determine the results is that complicated or hard to figure out. Some slot games even explain publicly how game results are being generated in the info page. So, this is not really a problem because this information alone can't be usdd by the player to predict the results of the game. What you need to know is the random number for that particular session
1826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way to keep cold storage wallet, but connect it to internet rarely to send. on: September 05, 2022, 11:26:31 PM
The issue I have with buying an air-gapped device is I remember reading where people purchased these things and they came to them pre-hacked already and they lost their bitcoins.
If by air-gapped device you mean a hardware wallet then the best thing to do to avoid being scammed is to never buy used devices an only buy from the official website of the company or from one of their authorized resellers.
But if you mean a pc or phone then you can't say it's air-gapped unless you format it by yourself and install a fresh and clean OS on it. You never know if the old owner has used it to access the internet before or not.
1827  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] 🤑🤑🤑 on: September 05, 2022, 09:49:13 PM
The author of this thread is very active on answering concerns here and he always online.
You are right. When I saw the broken image, I checked OP's profile to see if he is still active and, indeed, he was online just few hours before that. That's why I tryed to notify him because I knew he will read my post.

Quote
I think    everyone visiting this thread usually don’t check much the OP and and go to the last thread to make post or read an update. It’s odd that the image is broken long time ago while the representative didn’t notice it even though he keeps checking on this thread.
Unfortunately, the same apply to all the threads on the gambling section. The majority of members open the last page and don't read previous replies. This is why you will see them repeating the same thing again and again or asking questions that have been answered before.
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] 🤑🤑🤑 on: September 05, 2022, 03:01:56 PM
OP, the image in the announcement post does not show up. It's showing the "bitcointalk.org image proxy invalid image" message.
The image is hosted on tinyimg.io which has been closed since July.
I checked the posts made since that date in this thread in case someone else has brought this issue to your attention, but surprisingly, it seems no one has noticed it!
Please, upload the image into another website.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play online/offline without your wife or family knowing it? on: September 04, 2022, 11:57:25 PM
The only reason I could think of why someone would be so worried of his wife/family knowing about his gambling activities is either because he is addicted or because he gambles with money he is supposed to spend on his family (depriving them from some necessities).
Instead of looking for ways to keep your gambling activities a secret, you should have the courage to talk to your wife about it. If she is a reasonable person then she will not object as long as you are gambling just for fun and do not spend more than you should.
1830  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: September 04, 2022, 11:28:03 PM
^^
What vulnerability are you referring to? Bitlucy was a scam casino and a big disappointment to this community but it didn't have any vulnerability, at least none that I heard of.
If you are talking about the no-deposit bonus they used to give to new users and got abused by cheaters, then that wasn't a vulnerability. The casino didn't care how many users claim the bonus as he had no intention to pay them anyway.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: September 04, 2022, 07:58:05 PM
Using a VPN to access a casino is not a problem in itself and no casino will ban your account just for that unless it's clearly stated in their ToS that using VPNs is prohibited. The real problem is actually why they are being used. Unfortunately, the majority do not use VPNs for privacy reasons but to circumvent geo restrictions which is a kind of cheating.
Another thing gamblers aren't aware of is that even if your country isn't listed in the list of restricted countries, you're still not allowed to use the casino's services if gambling is prohibited in your country (and the consequences if you get caught are worse).
1832  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | FIRST EVER 0% Commission Dice Duels! 🚀🎲🔥 on: September 04, 2022, 05:43:37 PM
By imposing those requirements they ensure that cheaters and those who only claim bonuses and never make real deposits will be excluded and won't be able to abuse the promotion. At the same time, they reward their active and loyal customers.
Dropping bonuses without the deposit requirement from time to time will help to attract new customers and give them a chance to try out the casino before making a deposit.
What I like most is that the required amount to deposit and the wagered amount to claim the bonuses aren't to hard to achieve even for small players without having to change their gambling habits.
1833  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: September 04, 2022, 04:20:25 PM
I am not familiar with any of the casino sites you have listed on your site and rated well. So I see no value in your rating site in this forum . I think this forum is a good resource for finding good casinos so I don't follow any other sites.
You may have missed it, but OP already addressed this in this reply which you can find in the first page:
You are all missing the point.

Why would I present you with casinos that already spammed the shit out of this forum?
It's clear from his reply that he intentionally didn't add the popular casinos on this forum to his list and I have explained the reasons in my previous reply.
Not sure how trustworthy the casinos he is promoting are but am almost certain they'll have strict kyc policy as they are primarily fiat casinos.
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap Bitcoin tx fees! on: September 04, 2022, 02:28:11 PM
Anyone else love how cheap Bitcoin tx fees get during bear markets?

I just sent my first transaction in a while and it cost all of 38 cents (1921 sats).
This is not how to determine if fees are cheap or not. We can't know if this is the cheapest fee you could have paid just by knowing the total fee in dollar or sats. We need to know the size of the transaction or the fee rate (sat/vByte).
In your example, 38 cents or 1921 sats can be seen as high fee if we are talking, for example, about a segwit transaction with 1 input and 1 or 2 outputs.
But, you are right. Right now, 1 sat/vByte is more than enough for your transaction to get included in the very next block. This is the perfect time for inputs consolidation.
1835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: September 04, 2022, 01:59:40 PM
Would anyone play on a new casino that have been exploited? I'm sure their current customers will rushing to cash out their money out on that casino.
Any casino or online website can get hacked. Whether and how this is going to affect their business doesn't depend on the hack itself but rather how they are going to react to the situation and their way of handling it.
If they will maintain the communication with their customers and be as transparent as possible when explaining what happened ans what they are going to do to prevent it from happening again and most importantly if they have enough funds to reimburse the victims, then it's unlikely they will lose their loyal customers.
Take binance as example. They got hacked not long ago and millions of dollars were stolen from their hot wallets but this didn't affect them. Actually, they become stronger than any time before.
1836  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 03, 2022, 11:49:53 PM
Happy you finally received your money ligz and kudos to rollbit support team for resolving this dispute so quickly.
You still lucky to get the money even if you violated the rules.
I don't think he violated any of their rules! I read their T&C and, as per my understanding, having more than one account per household is not prohibited as long as they don't belong to the same person (which is not the case here).
1837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bit555 - Crypto Casino! Find More Unique Games! on: September 03, 2022, 11:05:24 PM
^^
This is indeed the right thing to do. There are no guarantees it will help to resolve this particular issue, but at least it will serve as a warning for other members.
Am saying this because it doesn't seem like they care much about their reputation here. They have been inactive for more than two months and didn't bother to update the OP which is still showing "Coming soon!" while the casino is up and running.
1838  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: September 03, 2022, 09:18:47 PM
OP is quite smart actually. It's obvious that he create the website and promoted it here to get referrals. So, he intentionally avoided adding casinos we (forum members) are familiar with and that are being promoted on this forum as he knows most of us already have accounts on those casinos. So, there is no point in adding them to his list.
He knows he will get more active referrals if promotes casinos that we didn't hear of before.
However, there is still a chance that his website will get some traffic from outside of this forum and will have visitors who never heard of bitcointalk or the casinos promoted here. So, adding reputable casinos that have been suggested in previous replies to his list might be a good idea.
1839  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: استخدام المنصات للتخزين on: September 02, 2022, 11:50:58 PM

1840  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: استخدام المنصات للتخزين on: September 01, 2022, 11:11:36 PM
