I didn't have much time to go through this week's matchups in detail, so i have very basic picks off the top of my head, let's see what happens.
The last time we had an international break there were quite a few surprises, we might get more of these i'm afraid.
Going against Liverpool and their ever-expanding injury list, i also have Alaves winning at home (why...i really don't know  Cheesy)
Anyway, good luck everyone!

AS Monaco - Paris Saint-Germain
Newcastle United - Chelsea
FC Schalke 04 - VfL Wolfsburg
Queens Park Rangers - Watford draw
Villarreal - Real Madrid draw
Tottenham - Manchester City
Eintracht Frankfurt - RB Leipzig draw
Hertha BSC - Borussia Dortmund
Manchester United - West Bromwich Albion
Atlético Madrid - Barcelona
Inter - Torino
Leeds United - Arsenal draw
Liverpool - Leicester City
Napoli - Milan draw
Deportivo Alavés - Valencia

Cardinals gave that one away, so many dumb penalties throughout the entire game.

-the field goal for Seattle at the end first half was a gift, thanks to ARI player getting injured and stopping the clock SEA +3pts
-safety for holding (that was right after a grounding penalty on Murray) SEA +2pts
-the most ridiculous one was the taunting penalty, instead of a long FG attempt, SEA got a first down, and two plays later a TD SEA +4pts

and there you have it 9pts out of nothing.

Seahawks looked a little bit better with Hyde, they should be getting Carson soon, without a running game (play-action out of it) they are extremely predictable.

I was able to get the UNDER, had another betbuilder bet hit, and one just short, needed Murray to score a rush TD, it's not like they didn't run a play for him at 2nd and 2, but why did he choose to go outside on the play is beyond me, the middle was wide open...anyway, decent start of the week, let's hope we don't get rekt on Sunday again.  Cheesy

We have a new fella who joined us this week and he will be in charge of doing some really unique, stats-based markets that offer really good odds!
Ill introduce you to him in the next day or so, but his first trial run is on the NFL Tonight.. check out this!

BET: Seahawks win & BTTS over 28.5 pts - 6.00

Stat-wise your guy's pick makes a lot of sense, we have two high-scoring teams who can't play defense, and the Seahawks are at home.
The things i don't like and why i wouldn't take it (i guess buwaytress will be the only to celebrate tomorrow if it hits  Tongue) :

-short week for both teams
-weather report for this game says that there will be showers and some moderate wind with pretty low temperatures around and under 40°F (not ideal)
-Tyler Lockett is nursing a knee injury, he will play, but how much and how well is a huge question mark (for reference he had 200 rec yards and 3 TDs in the first game between these two).
-Seattle's defense is historically bad, allowing 448.3 yards to opponents per game Shocked, with Hopkins, Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald, and Murray's running abilities i'm leaning towards the Cards in this one.

If i had to bet on this game (i was 0/5 on my prop bets in week 10 Grin), i'd go for Murray's rushing yards, D-Hop and Metcalf for TDs, and maybe throw a lost fumble bet in the mix due to the weather. Anyway, good luck to those who took it!!!

Nice to see NFL specials like this one, i hope we get some more of these Sunday or in near the future.

And yeah, the warriors will be at the bottom of the league again...
To say they are bottom of the west because klay is out is wrong.  Steph and Draymond on their game will have them competing.  I'm not a fan of Golden state but to say they can't beat the likes of Portland or suns , etc is crazy.  Ya'll shouldn't doubt steph

I agree, they have Wiggins as well, Wiseman is gonna be an excellent rookie imo, Ky Bowman and Eric Paschall had some great moments last year, i expect them to play even better this year. What i'm hearing is that the Warriors are close to signing Kelly Oubre Jr. ( he is no Klay but he is a solid player) Warriors should be given cap space for a disabled player exception that's around $10mil if i'm not mistaken. They will have a decent enough roster to be in playoff contention, bottom of the table...hell no!

Awful news for basketball fans and the GSW in particular, Klay is out for the season.

When i heard about it yesterday, i was hoping it could be a calf injury or something not as serious but yeah, it's the achilles on his right leg, and he will be out for a while.

He just recovered from a torn ACL on his left leg and now this...

Alright, 2020 (virtual) NBA Draft is still on, the top three picks are as follows:

1. Timberwolves - Anthony Edwards
2. Warriors - James Wiseman
3. Hornets - LaMelo Ball

These were the top three prospects coming into the draft and there were no surprises.
I think Anthony Edwards will be a good fit for the T'Wolves and their young core - Towns, Russell and Culver.
Can't say the same for Charlotte as they already have Terry Rozier and Devonte' Graham, one too many PGs here but you gotta draft the best available player and it was LaMelo.

Wizards have a nice pick @9 imo drafting Deni Avdija.
An excellent young prospect coming from the EuroLeague, i've watched a few Maccabi Tel Aviv matches with him and can say that he has great upside, athletic 6'9 forward with great iq/vision.

I'm also happy to see Cole Anthony (Greg Anthony's kid) drafted by Orlando @15.
He was among the top prospects coming from high school but he had a setback in his first-year with UNC injuring his knee. Can't wait to see him play in the NBA, he is my favorite player off this year's draft.

Other promo deals over the Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday period will be released on this coming Monday.
We will have great offers spanning the majority of next week! All will be revealed from Monday the 23rd of November.

Thanks for the reply Steve, looking forward to next week then, i'm sure everyone else is too.

I remember taking my laptop to a restaurant every hour to connect to their WiFi and check if I got the reward

Hehe, that's crazy...well you gotta do what you gotta do, good luck this year!  Tongue

The new Multi-Magic is up, we have 'Gladbach, Juventus, Lazio, Real Sociedad to win @8.10 combined odds.

At first glance it looks okay, Cadiz are doing great this year but have a poor home record with just 2 points, Sociedad atop of LaLiga.
Immobile is expected to return for Lazio after testing negative for covid today, which should be a huge boost for the Biancocelesti vs. the worst team in Serie A imo (Crotone).
Juventus vs. Cagliari, one-sided affair, Juve should take the easy W here.
Gladbach are hosting Augsburg, the visitors have only one win in their last 5, historically speaking (the last 5 years when playing @Borussia-Park) the home team has 5 wins and just one draw.

Oh by the way, Sportsbet.io's Betslip Sharing feature should be available for everyone now! Check it out!

"an all time Löw" for the bundesteam Cheesy

It would have been even better if it was something more meaningful than the Nations League, but still...quite embarrassing result for a team like Germany.

I had a little something going on for this game, didn't expect to be that easy, but i will take it, Ferran Torres absolutely killing it tonight!

Murray to Hopkins hail mary though, sheesh!  Shocked

So close... Brown did have a good game, just not as good as you were hoping. I have to say, its "good" to see him back in action (despite all his drama and the roadblocks created by his personality). He's gonna be a great asset for TB so long as he can stop himself from doing anything too stupid off field.

I didn't watch the game, but too bad he didn't get that TD that i needed. Brady was looking for him, 8 targets today, that's not bad, second after Mike Evans.

Rest of my prop bets also lost (some were close others not so much), i'm left with this 6 acca picking the favorites to win, and need Baltimore to win! They get back Ingram, so please let me have this one... Grin

No leaderboard at all is really annoying, but at least one guy with 8 (or even more) seems likely.

So the leaderboard is still not updated? I don't think that's happened before, being so late, maybe the guys from the office took the weekend off?  Roll Eyes Tongue

Who has the most correct picks from this thread? If i'm not mistaken arallmuus is with 11 (perfect 5/5 today), anything over 10 is impressive and gives you a chance to win.

Let's see though...can the forum clutch another win?

Edit : Holy, what a turn around in the last 10 minutes from 0-1 to 2-1 Austria making it happen. Multi magic cashing in two in a row. Cool

Congrats to you and buwaytress (and everyone else of course), tomahawk9 skipped this one, unless he secretly played it and didn't tell us?  Tongue

I'm not gonna lie i started cussing around here @0-1, i thought this was the easiest of the four, it was Bundesliga vs. Championship/League One matchup for christ sake, it shouldn't be that close to begin with, N.Ireland were also missing two key players. Anyway, i'm glad that it hit, Steve with the hot hand...can't miss!  Grin

1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 15, 2020, 05:21:40 PM
^Buccaneers have missing players at OL, Brady's protection vs Saints was pretty crap, don't think it will be any better today.
I also read that they had their flight delayed for 7 hours but it's hard to pick against the them in this one, odds are nice though so gl!

my prop bet for this game: Bucs ml + Brown Anytime score+ Brady 2+ pass TD total odds 3.78

a few other bets that i have going today:

D.Jones 20+ rush yards + 1+ fumble lost total odds 2.20 (yes i will be watching the nfc least, rooting for Giants to win)
D.Adams Anytime Score + A.Jones Anytime Score + A.Jones 55+ rush yards total odds 2.90
T.Lockett 50+ rec yards + Wilson 2+ pass TDs total odds 2.30 (i don't know if Seahawks can win with that swiss cheese defense, but Lockett is primed to have a good game)
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 15, 2020, 04:24:28 PM
My 4 team acca, Moldova Clean Sheet NO + Bosnia Clean Sheet NO + Iceland Clean Sheet NO + Armenia Clean Sheet NO total odds 1.78

yeah i know it's super frigid but i don't like any of the games we have today, and don't feel like donating money to the bookies either.

If i had to take a regular bet, id probably go for Austria -1.5 handicap, Northern Ireland had very disappointing midweek Euro play-off final vs. Slovakia losing in ET, i'm not sure they will be mentally ready for this one and besides Austria has better players/quality imo.
1835  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 15, 2020, 03:53:16 PM
...the multi magic is still on thanks to the almighty North Macedonia who got it done, 2:1 win vs. Estonia at home.

I thought they might be hungover after the win on Thursday which qualify them for their first Euro, no Pandev no problem today.

All eyes on Albania and their match with Kazakhstan, it's a must win if they want to have a chance at winning their group. Fingers crossed.

Like buwaytress, i'm sick of backing Flamengo to win hence a draw, but this is probably the game they get back on track and win 5-0, typical.

Flamengo RJ 1:1 Atletico GO

We did it hahaha, after a million unsuccessful tries i finally managed to guess the right outcome, Flamengo match results have been so elusive, can't get one right, but not this time. That's four straight games for them without a win...but who cares.  Cheesy

Now on a more serious note, 10 games in and SB hasn't updated the leaderboard, can't really tell who is at the top and with how many.

Looking at the picks made in this thread leea-1334 and arallmuus both have 7 correct predictions, 7 out of 10 is pretty decent, should be good for either top spot or 1 game behind.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 13, 2020, 08:22:24 PM
UEFA Nations League + Campeonato Brasileiro yuuuuuuuck, worst possible combo, i'd rather have 15 Overwatch matches to choose and pick from...
Like buwaytress i'm sick of backing Flamengo to win hence a draw, but this is probably the game they get back on track and win 5-0, typical.
Ha, nobody has Russia in their tickets, that's interesting, are they missing players / playing with their U16 squad? Group leaders with 8pts playing against a team that desperately needs points, they should make use of those counter-attacks (open spaces) and win, noo?

Let the boring weekend begin, at least there are some League One/Two matches to actually bet on tomorrow.

Colombia - Uruguay
Chile - Peru draw
Brazil - Venezuela
Santos - Internacional
Sweden - Croatia
Germany - Ukraine
Portugal - France
Switzerland - Spain
Palmeiras - Fluminense
Flamengo - Atlético Goianiense draw
Turkey - Russia
Netherlands - Bosnia & Herzegovina
Denmark - Iceland
Italy - Poland
Belgium - England draw

I reckon this proves that the Colts defense is really one of the best in the NFL this year. I have read many punters doubting it in the beginning of the season.

They are first in opponent yards per game, third in opponent points per game, and you got their special teams step up last night with blocked punt TD to basically win the game. Not bad but against a team like the Ravens they couldn't generate any offense, completely shut down, and with T. Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal being their primary wide outs i think it's going to be tough in the playoffs.

<...>but i went with C.Davis 35+ receiving yards + Z.Pascal 25+ receiving yards.

Quote
Nov. 18: 2020 NBA Draft
Nov. 20: Start of free agency
Dec. 1: Start date to begin training camps for 2020-21 season
Dec. 22: Opening night for 2020-21 season
source: ^ NBA timeline, key dates

Pretty condensed schedule the NBA has put up before the start of the season.
NCAA March Madness was canceled this spring and that's gonna make teams and GMs job at drafting young prospects a lot tougher.
Free agency starts just two days after the draft and teams would have around 10 days to make trades and sign free agents before training camps.
That's an absurdly short period of time, and i expect this to be a frenzy one with some shocking trades based on the rumors that we are all hearing right now.

In other words, can't wait for the new season to start!  Cool

Holy cow, enough with the Jets talk already, literally the most debated team around here and that's wrong on so many levels.

Hopefully my luck on prop bets turns for the better and get a second win here. Grin

Good luck with your pick, i wouldn't mind if Tannehill throws a few passes towards my guy C.Davis tonight.

AFC South is meh division, these two play each other again later this month, if i have to chose i'd probably go with Titans to win even though they dropped two of the last three games.
I watched Colts on Sunday, they couldn't put anything on offense, Rivers was bad, 25/43 1 interception and zero TDs.
Under also looks good in my eyes (49.5) but i went with C.Davis 35+ receiving yards + Z.Pascal 25+ receiving yards.

One last thing, can we all agree that's the best interception you have ever seen?  Grin
