1821  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've been confused in BTC on: August 25, 2022, 03:09:37 AM
I am very disappointed with the state of Bitcoin in the current market. Because last week its price was 24000 dollars but now it shows 21 thousand dollars. I want to know from you, is the price of Bitcoin likely to fall further?
No one knows for sure thus what we can do is to wait. If you invest in crypto, it takes a lot of patience because you cant expect the market to move the way you wanted it to be.

Many investors here already used to this kind of movement hence they're not asking a similar questions.

So learn to wait and be positive to refrain yourself committing wrong decision because of your worries.
1822  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: August 25, 2022, 02:45:32 AM
So is always good to invest in once self, than working under someone, which you won't have time for yourself,
Just an advise
Well, thats true. It feels great to be your own boss than working under your boss. You wont be pressure and you're free to do anything for your own good.

Anyway education is a stepping stone for us to achieve our dreams but it doesnt mean you dont have a chance if you're uneducated. Its just that, for a degree holder people, they have an advantage to get a good paying job. In other words they can save more for capital if they want to start their own business. But if you're wise and determine, there's always a way because nowadays you can educate yourself through courses that can find on the internet.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund? on: August 24, 2022, 05:39:16 AM
Hey guys, just wanna ask, what do you think is the best crypto portfolio for a $30k fund?
Your capital is huge enough to start your investing journey. What do you prefer old or new coins? I suggest for you to DYOR to gain idea about crypto because its best to have our own knowledge on what we're getting into. Bitcoin and ETH are some of the worthy coins to invest in, because they're already established and trusted by many investors. But dont rely alone in suggestions of users here, as I have said its best to have your own knowledge about it.

1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would you prefer your casino reward? on: August 24, 2022, 04:13:05 AM
Quick question, on your first visit to a casino to play slots, you were offered a bonus reward as incentive for visiting, if you are given the option to either receive your rewards in form of free spins for you to try out your luck and maybe win more, or direct cash reward, which will you choose?

I prefer to receive a direct cash reward. Free spins cant guarantee a profit in return since slots are luck based games.
Chances to gain something will depend if you're lucky.

While in cash reward, I can choose what games I prefer to play, the one which I think I can be lucky.
1826  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 23, 2022, 03:00:37 AM

From 20k custom limits (for 3 years ito) to unlimited cash out. Nagulat lang ako kasi di ko inexpect na ibabalik nila sa dati ang account limits ko,. Plan ko na rin sana hindi gamitin ang coins pero dahil sa nangyari i consider ko pa rin sila pag nag cash out.

But its really amazing that some people can afford to bet a huge amount even without assurance to win. Imagine the value of whale's bet for average gambler can be considered a jackpot already. Oh well, they're lucky to live as well-off and gambling is a kind of entertainment for them to kill time.
Gambling was never meant to make money in the first place so there is nothing wrong to those whale gamblers that spend huge amount of money like it's nothing because it won't hurt them financially even if they lose it.

You should not be jealous to them and don't treat gambling as a way to increase your income or else you will just end up ruining your life.
I think not at all times, some whales are likely in it as well. It's like expanding your portfolio, we may think they are just in it for the leisure but we may never know considering how huge the industry is now, and the competition to get more crypto these days is getting crazy. It's getting fast and fast, was likely they're into a FOMO state too.
Thats true. Maybe some of these whales are playing for leisure but it doesnt mean they dont have this goal to hit a huge win too.

The difference is, it is likely not a problem for whales to lose big time since they're rich, unlike to some average gamblers (who keep on playing to win) because it can really hurt their financial status.

Nevertheless its really wise to not rely on gambling as a money making activity because its risky.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 23, 2022, 12:18:35 AM
Option A : Do you play one slot for a long time, until you hit the feature or until you win something big?
Option A for me. Im the type who just stay in 1 slot even I dont win. Im sticking to the particular slot because of my previous winnings on that same slot. Thus I became attach to be loyal on that game and see if I can be lucky once again. Its weird for others but thats my reason why. Once I started playing the slot, I will stick to it until I spend all my money that set for gambling.
1829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bear market over? on: August 22, 2022, 05:26:30 AM
We cant really say but as we can see the market is not moving upward consistently. If there's an increase it is often followed by a correction, its just shows that bear market is not over. However unexpected things can happen, so we'll never know.

Thus its better to go with flow. If you have capital to fill your bags then do it now. Who knows bullrun might occur again unexpectedly, you dont want to missed the chance to buy before that right?

1830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: August 22, 2022, 03:32:53 AM
Long-term investment doesn't  mean a coin should be hodl for a very long time. When investing a coin for Long-term,  when the market becomes very bullish its nice to take up profit,  and if the market goes low again then buy and hodl till it is due for profit.
If the concept is like that, then it is clear that it is not an investment in the long term and it is also more likely to be called a short term trade because it always considers the profit in any amount. But investors who like investing in the long term will not be happy to sell their assets only for a profit of 5 - 6% of their capital, because they want to get bigger profits by risking time through their patience.
Indeed. Its a short term investment if you're going to take advantage everytime there's a price increase then buy back in dip.

Long term hodler takes years before selling, because they have set target price before deciding to sell and obviously its not for small gains. However its not a bad idea to take profit at times. It is just depending for every investors if they're already happy and contented to the profit that they see.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 22, 2022, 01:14:55 AM
most people have more appreciation for GGG, I don't know if maybe he as a person has more charisma, something they like and want to see him succeed,
Maybe one of the reason why many people are rooting for GGG  is the fact that in this fight he doesnt have a win yet. Thus fans are looking forward for him to take down Canelo especially his previous fights (before this) are a victory for him, its like he redeem himself after his loss.

but in boxing not everything is numbers and statistics, it's the real part, real life, and really even though both boxers have failed along their paths, it will be interesting to see this fight.
Thats true. This will be a great fight that we've been waiting for years.

Do you guys able to withdraw without your level 2 verification? Hoping someone would clarify. Thank you.
Yes and the withdrawal is instant. Just recently, I withdraw the prize from the art contest. But before that, I take time playing few of my favorite games.

Edit: I have no choice but to do the KYC, but why is it that the withdrawal is still disabled? LOL
Im not level 2 verified but still able to withdraw. Did you ask the support for the reason?
1833  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 21, 2022, 05:38:23 AM
But, people who are rich would be bothered, there would be people trying to login, try to hack, try to bother them with pm's and phishing links and many other things. That's why it's not a smart idea to share who you are when you are a rich person. I hope to god that I would have that type of problem one day Cheesy. I rather be rich and scared then poor and relax Cheesy.
Some big time gamblers prefer to keep their username hidden and play silently.

But its really amazing that some people can afford to bet a huge amount even without assurance to win. Imagine the value of whale's bet for average gambler can be considered a jackpot already. Oh well, they're lucky to live as well-off and gambling is a kind of entertainment for them to kill time.
1834  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 21, 2022, 04:50:18 AM
This bonus must for those who are playing regularly/actively. I do not receive the bonus too and I believe it is because my inactivity in duelbits so I think we should be more actively wagering in duelbits if we do not want to miss such bonus.  Wink Most email I received from duelbits recently is about contest and other promotions as I received earlier today about $100,000 Cash Drop Bonus by Wazdan.
Same here. Im not so active playing on Duelbits.
It might be the reason why I never receive an email from them about bonus, its more on promotions.
Well thats understandable and I think its their way to keep their loyal gamblers for playing on their site.
I think I need to be more active again so I wont missed this kind of bonus.  Smiley
1835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 21, 2022, 04:02:24 AM
What makes quasiaquam's case a bit complicated and makes Roobet decision not to help understandable is that the chain to which the coins were sent is not supported by their payment system. Attempting to recover the coins will result in exposing their wallets private keys which is too risky.
In any case, only one of the admins (or whoever has access to the wallets private keys) can help here.
I agree, only Roobet can resolve this problem since the address is correct but sent in wrong chain. There's a way but it depends on the team because it is risky on their part. Sending using different chain can happen if you're not careful.

Anyway its an interesting case and probably an awareness for us to always double check our transation if all the details are correct given that it is irreversible.
1836  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: August 21, 2022, 03:31:27 AM
I'm just wondering about this gambling platform, the number of shreds of evidence that it's just a scam, and many people are fooled why it still exists in this industry, even here on the bitcointalk forum. And there are still other community members here who continue to campaign despite everything that they have also been given red trusts on their accounts. It should disappear from this forum forever, is there a way? as if this gambling site will not be the next victim?
Because scams are not moderated here thus mods cant take an action to get rid of this scam. However, we have a trust system that can help for us to know if the platform/user you're dealing with can be trusted and thats our responsibility if we're still going to play in 1xbit despite of the warnings. And I think many of us here are already aware of their reputation unless a user is a newbie and lazy to do a research on a casino that he chose to play in.
1837  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitdice delaying everything they can to kyc and withdraw on: August 21, 2022, 01:43:58 AM
It looks like Bitdice is out of the fund to pay players for their withdrawals.  Probably they are collecting funds from players who lose in the Casino and slowly paying people in line waitiing for their withdrawal to process.  @OP I think Bitdice is willing to pay but probably the fund is not available and they are patching the withdrawals with players' losses.  Just have patience since they had processed some of your withdrawals and promised to pay it in maximum 2 days.  If they failed to do so, you can do what yahoo adviced you.  Create a scam accusation in this board

It seems that slowly the OP is being paid what he is owed, however if what you are saying is true and what we're seeing is that the casino doesn't really have the funds to pay their customers then this is very unprofessional, and sooner or later the casino will find itself facing huge trouble because it is obvious that they are not administrating their funds as they should, and one of their customers could make a big win which could push the casino near the point of bankruptcy.
Thats what im thinking, if lionheart78 is right then what if there's a player who happens to win huge? (as you've said) its hard to rely on the income from players in order to cover the prize of player whose able to win a decent amount.

If the casino has no funds anymore to settle the winnings then why they continue to operate? Honestly op's winnings are not that much compared to other winnings that we know. But as we can see, in such amount they already have problem paying the player, although its good that they are trying to resolve the issue.
1838  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰 PuertoCasino.com 🚢🏴‍☠️- Play Casino Games with Bitcoins!🎰 on: August 21, 2022, 12:49:49 AM
There is no new website, not even a new domain name for the website. This platform has been operating with the same domain name since its launch, and there is no explanation for these phrases that its representative uses, but he seeks to attract attention either by mentioning that it is a new site (I don't know how long this can last) or by reminding that withdrawals can be made 24 hours which is evident.
It seems they're trying to attract the gamblers by bumping the thread and announcing they have a new site. I thought this casino is new but it turned out it was launch 3 years ago, I visit the site and I cant see anything that can convince me to play, its quite common.

If they don't have a ToS or any thing like that then it would be wise to be extremely careful when dealing with them.
Also, don't forget that this is a three years old thread that just got bumped,  so don't get lured into whatever they offer.
Indeed. They dont even have T&C on their site so can we understand their rules. No kyc but who knows?

1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what Bitcoin has done for you on: August 19, 2022, 08:15:36 AM
Bitcoin made me realize that saving in Bitcoin is much better than saving your money in banks.

Bitcoin let us manage our own finances without having worries that your account might get freeze or restricted. Plus the convenient way of sending money wherever you are. More than that is the opportunity to earn when you invest. I've said this before, in Bitcoin I experience to earn huge that I never experience in any of the job I had. Thats why im happy to become part of community who are lucky to engage themselves in Bitcoin.
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: August 19, 2022, 01:18:17 AM
Ethereum was dumped down to 950$ in latest Bear market and now it's trading 2x from that price. My question is , what is best price to buy ? Buy now or wait to down 600$?
The best time to buy is when the price is cheaper. But do you think the price can still go lower to $600? If you believe it can happen then you can wait since thats your ideal price. However its uncertain, thus it would be best for you to analyze the situation and see if there's a basis to assume it can go lower to the price that you're expecting to happen before buying ETH.
