1841  Other / Politics & Society / the social Bitcoin on: December 03, 2013, 04:41:22 PM
Let us assume that our "Utopia " from Bitcoin as the dominant currency becomes reality .

Most here say Bitcoin is liberal. Is it really liberal ? The majority decides (51%), so it is democratic. Would it be liberal, the richest would decide .

Now, if Bitcoin is predominant currency that will unfortunately have changed little in the world. The Rothschilds and the likes are out of the game , yet we would probably have a situation again where at the end 5% of the people own 95% of the Bitcoins .

Now only theoreticly , without considering the technical feasibility:
What if now the majority decides that every individual can have only one Bitcoinwallet ? Now what if the majority further decides that each wallet can only contain a certain number of Bitcoins , and all the wallets exceeding this maximum, automaticly distribute the surplus evenly to all wallets?

The majority would benefit , so why should the majority not decide for it?

This is just a hypothesis which ignores any technical consideration.

(i know this is probably a very unpopular post for liberals; try to be kind please)

Thoughts?
1842  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Metatrader 4 Forex Platform... on: December 01, 2013, 08:11:17 PM
acutally i´m just testing metatrader4 with btc-e.

is there a feature to automatically calculate which price is needed for a trade to be profitable (i.e. order price + fees = minimum sell price)? maybe including a chart line?

[price]*1,0025 for a long

Das einzige was einem aus der Charttechnik weiterhilft: the Trend is your Friend!

Buy and Hold is die Divise.

Maybe I'll try this in Demo mode for a while.

wait some months. the ideia behind it is very good, but it is not working yet. I could atach my logfile where my inumerous attemps to close my position are loged
1845  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: November 29, 2013, 02:41:14 PM
Pro-tip: remove your funds and go to another exchange. Tears will flow when this one blows up.
Any suggestions for a good exchange without ID verification? What about bitfinex or crypto-trade?
crypto-trade is good one I have few exchanges with them and all very quick and good I like this one
Thanks!
Anybody having issues with bitfinex or crypto-trade? Which one do you prefer?

Bitfinex has a lot of problems with the system (check the thread), altough people around it are very trustworthy

i want to know limit/stop orders made using metatrader are on server side or just on client side ??

also if you get the "off quotes" error like me, your stoploss wont help anyways
1848  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: November 28, 2013, 04:30:29 PM
i opened a suport ticket because i wasn't able to close position in MT4 for half an hour and lost about $500.
now I open the ticked and it was "status: closed"; without a response.
is this a joke?

I'm about to enter the war with you guys. Waiting for a response yet (I reopened ticket)

Closing tickets without response is normal procedure at BTC-e

well than I must leave cryptos at all.....I want leveraged trading. Bitfinex has good suport but system has many flaws. Kraken has 0 volume

1856  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: November 25, 2013, 11:17:56 AM
I have deposited $500 by wire transfer and it landed on my btc-e account within 24 hours, which was very nice.
I have bought some BTC and wanted to withdraw BTC but then it says Money hold. 702 hours left

*Depositing money through the wire transfer. The time of the hold is from 1 month. It can be removed by providing your IDs through the ticket.

That's ok.

What actually made me think is that two days ago the minimum deposit was $500, but after they received it, today the minimum deposit (min sum allowed) is $2,000
It looks like "hey, the first transfer went ok, send us the next now... with more money".

Any comments on this?

i deposited US$6200++  9 days ago, until now it still not shown on my account balance, now their support team are ignoring me.

think twice if you are going to wire more money to them

Edit:
Problem resolved.

$2000 here and same thing happened to me! Sorry to hear about the $6200++ potentially lost. After not believing my own eyes I HAD to dive into WHO OWNS BTC-E and found out A LOT of nasty things!

http://whois.domaintools.com/btc-e.com

Check it out!

I blame Kim Dotcom.. and myself for not looking into the matter further and basing my previous A+ history with them as justification for they are trustworthy!

You live, you learn! But I will not give up in holding those responsible accountable for that money.

sorry, but I don't understand.....New Zealand sounds better than Russia or not?
