Well if it is a scam, they will loose a lot.

We have a team of guys, who will label this site as a "scam" on several forums. So everytime time a possible new customer "google" this site, he will get negative links all over the place. That would effectively shut down new business to this site.

Most scammers, use "noobie" accounts to launch projects like this, so a negative trust on his/her account mean nothing.

Another option is to use the "hacking bounty" approach. {Hack the site to #$% and it seize opperation.}

There are many ways to stop this kind of thing.

I am getting fed up with this, because it's wasted time and energy and counter productive.

If you go through all that trouble, to setup a site, in the hope of people signing up and then dissapearing with their money, you should be hunted down and stopped.

I will discuss this on other platforms and we would get to the bottom of this.

yea, obviously he knows that we would destroy his site...he will pay

Question: How long should we wait before we brand this guy a scammer?

don't know, but today is too early

He is actually advertising http://CoinPiler.com

First he was advertising http://kingsazeeb.com/protools/optin/show/84 in the sig code.

Then, when he asked everyone to change the code, it became http://getbitcoinsdaily.com/optin/84.

His user ID is having the link http://passivebitcoin.com, which is a parked domain.

Which one will u destroy ?

can we contact CoinPiller?

can somebody explain that campains that pay per activity?
afaik one can only earn 14 activity points every 2 weeks

They par for your current activity, not the increase of activity.

If you post about one message per day you can consider them paying for all of your existing posts, not only posts done during last week.

It pays you based on how many activity points you have. Wink

thanks

what teams are you guys talking about?

Hey Mate,

You have an option of including your referral link in your signature code, i guess OP talks about how to do it. Apparently, a $40 bonus is paid per referral, but i am guessing that it is paid only to a referral who actually purchases their package for $100.

Cheers!

thanks, will do that later

858  Economy / Economics / Re: How do no fee exchanges make money on: August 25, 2014, 12:01:18 PM
It's impossible for an exchange to profit without implementing service fees to the users who use their service. Maybe there are fees, though not transaction fees that we are used to. Withdrawal fees must be present in there. I doubt that it will be feasible for them to continue such a service, unless there are some things going on in the background that most of know nothing about. :O

BTC-China has 0 fees like for a year or so

how they make money then? voting?, alscene is dead voting is pretty much useless now
I really don't think they can make money. They also are not a charity and do not accept donations. I think that most reasonable people can draw the conclusion that they are doing something that they should not be doing as it makes no sense for them to charge 0 fees and still be able to stay in business.

Whatsapp charge 0 fee to capture market share first. These exchanges are probably doing the same.
I don't think whatsapp is actually charging "0" to their users as they are pushing advertisements which they are receiving revenue from. The exchanges are not doing this. To say that something like whatsapp is "free" is really misleading.

Whatsapp will start charging fee next year I believe. Now that they have network effect and people are basically stucked with all their contacts using it, they will need to pay fee to continue using it.

they will lose 90% of the users. there are many free alts, like the 20x better Skype
859  Economy / Economics / Re: How do no fee exchanges make money on: August 25, 2014, 03:28:05 AM
most reasonable people can draw the conclusion that they are doing something that they should not be doing

only that this doesn't exist in free market.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brock Pierce launches "Realcoin" a dollar-backed coin that competes with Bitcoin on: August 24, 2014, 04:54:24 PM
community is stupid not to understand that it would be good for BTC to be able to send a "hedgeBTC".

we could trade BTC/Realcoin instead of BTC/USD

Community is not stupid, its people like you don't understand that BTC want to leave the fiat and monetary currency standards.
it's people like you that don't understand that THIS is the way out of fiat
