1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: March 28, 2024, 06:09:51 PM
because it actually is freaking hard. An extreme level of concentration, self-control, and patience is necessary.
most will be better off just holding.

just in case a client missed it: Evolve Market is shutting down.
Also, if you ever had an MT4 account with them, you might want to check there since those assets are separate from their normal web pages for some reason. I found coins there I had forgotten about.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize banned crypto it seams? on: December 11, 2023, 11:49:23 AM

I wonder how they could even operate for the rest of the year. there must have been a later revision
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize banned crypto it seams? on: December 07, 2023, 03:53:40 PM
Probably related to this[1]? I can imagine they temporarily ban businesses from doing crypto transactions because they want to prepare for a better monitoring system, and then resume it after the framework is ready. It is also possible that they ask for other requirements if the business wants to continue dealing with crypto, but the specific broker you mentioned above doesn't want to do it.

I found this, too

check official FSC announcements.

hard to find those

These kind of intervention isnt something new anymore. One platform/company could accept crypto then one day in an instant when their license issuer or simply the ones
who do regulated would be telling this and that then they dont really have no choice but to follow or else then we do know on whats next.

We had hoped that things had evolved by now. Nothing changed it seems
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize banned crypto it seams? on: December 07, 2023, 01:02:34 AM
My search about this news did not bring any quality information why FSC want to ban the company from receiving deposits and withdrawals

mine neither, which is strange. other brokers would be affected if they are regulated by them, but there is no real info available.
maybe it's just an excuse from FXChoice?
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended Forex Brokers Accepting Crypto Deposits and Withdrawals on: December 07, 2023, 12:00:44 AM
We lost FxChoice, arguably the best crypto-friendly forex broker, due to intervention by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize. Very disappointing.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize banned crypto it seams? on: December 06, 2023, 11:57:44 PM
FxChoice forex broker has stopped accepting crypto due to FSC regulations, but there seems to be no relevant information on the internet. This may affect other forex brokers as well. Does anyone have more information on this?
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading Forex with Bitcoin deposit/withdraw on: August 28, 2023, 12:29:36 PM
Indeed, there are several benefits to using Bitcoin in Forex trading, with global acceptance being a significant advantage. Bitcoin's widespread recognition and adoption make it an appealing choice for traders seeking to diversify their portfolios and participate in the growing crypto market. The global acceptance of Bitcoin contributes to its liquidity and availability across different trading platforms, providing traders with more opportunities and flexibility in their Forex trading activities.
The reality is before entering in the crypto world I was known with forex trading, And to see forex trading and cryptocurrency trading both have different features and good sides.
Especially if we talk about forex trading, it is much ahead in terms of liquidity, market stability, obtainability, etc., and also cryptocurrency trading creates privacy and security, low transaction fees, separate investment areas, etc., so the bridging of the two is actually Good news for both. By doing this, crypto traders can also avoid forex trading and in this case the liquidity of forex trading will increase as well as the global recognition of cryptocurrency will increase.
Forex brokers, in my opinion, are more vulnerable than Binance or Okex. I tried forex for the first time previously because I attended a conference at the time and they recommended utilizing that broker because they were a representative for it. Following that, many of us made deposits with that broker, but there was a hacking incident. We lost our fund, with some of us losing $100,000. That is why I feel like forex brokers are negative for my security, but I didn't suggest you don't use forex; there are still many legitimate brokers out there.
You cant really make out some generalization just because of the incident that you had experienced because if you do find yourself on joining about seminars on to those forex companies which it would really be just that normal that you would really be making out some huge deposits, knowing that there are more known brokers which are legit and long time running. When it comes to forex and some of them accepting
Crypto or Bitcoin only. Im making use of Tradersway but for pure Forex then i do go with XM.

the first is actually in my recomended list. it's mainly in the list because it combines a rather good reputation with a particular focus on privacy.
the second one has some bad ratings in the internet, like here: https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/8757/octafx-review

12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: July 03, 2023, 10:29:23 AM
You are right on that point, most of those influencers are not actually gamblers, they are just used and paid by gambling or casino owners because of their millions of followers and their ability to influence most people to gamble their followers
Personally, I consider anyone who promotes a service that he is not interested in or he didn't try it himself a cheater. He is deceiving his followers. How can you guarantee the quality of the service if you didn't test it or don't even know what it's all about!

I have to ask: Do you use and have tested the service you are promoting in your sig?

14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: June 28, 2023, 09:47:13 AM
I just had a look at bleacherreport. why is this even in the list if it is about sports?
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 27, 2023, 10:21:58 AM
it is pretty clear what gambling is: you put YOUR money on the outcome of a totaly random event.
now that is pretty strict, since it does exclude things like poker, sport betting and so on, since there you put money on probabilities.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 26, 2023, 10:09:16 AM
It's not free. someone pays for it
You are making zero sense here. People who post contests in the games and rounds section like me pay for them out of our own volition. The winners are receiving the prizes free of charge as long as the contests are legit.

The winners are clearly getting a free lunch which implies that your statements are wrong. Think!

as I said, someone pays. not sure why you do it, but you recieve something back. merits can have value for example. I think I know the goal here.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 25, 2023, 09:05:07 PM
there is no free lunch

Oh, really? What kind of universe you are visiting us from?

Here people are getting free stuff all the time. Check out the "Games and Rounds" section. If some of them manage to make their life worse because of that, it's sad and regrettable, but it's their problem, not everyone's.

Overall it's a hostile attitude to life: seeing a berry and thinking that it's necessarily poisonous. I mean, don't eat it right away, research first, but don't think everyone and nature itself wants to screw you. Smiley

It's not free. someone pays for it
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 23, 2023, 09:20:27 PM
there is no free lunch
I wouldn't call that free if you are spending time, evaluating the results, researching, and analyzing teams to make predictions, the only thing is that you are not spending any money on the predictions but they are still predictions and you will spend time on it, so when you are working for something, that shouldn't be called free, as they say, time is money, so when you are not spending money but spending time, you are not getting the reward for free.

The app mentioned in the OP is most likely to be a fantasy sports platform where you can make predictions and stuff to get points, and if you make it to the top of the leaderboard, you get rewarded either with money or something else that is valuable. That isn't gambling but it is something you work for.

Time is money, indeed,
but you can spend tons of time without producing any value.
They seem to offer some kind of value to you without requesting any value from you. This doesn't exist.
You think Google is free, for example? It is not, my man. We pay for it because we pay for the merchandising embedded into the products.
