Here are some pics from the conference BQT went to this week!

Which one is you? Joey Tribbiani from Friends?  Grin

Regardless of who you are I want to thank you for actually doing your job on this campaign. You're pretty much one of the only new campaign managers that is doing what they should and vetting users beforehand. If everyone did this then the forum wouldn't be in such the state it is. Keep up the good work.

Bump.

Watching this.
Out of interest, what classifies as a right outcome and close score? Will also have to take a look at this Superbru thing but you can count me as a possible participant.

A right outcome is if you guess the correct winner or the draw. Scoring for close picks can be found here: https://www.superbru.com/premierleague_predictor/how_to_play.php#tab=scoring

Another users who's almost certainly just been told by someone they can earn here and they literally have no fucking clue what to do. He'll be on a signature soon and be getting paid for this crap.

Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering?

Because bitcoin is a money laundering tool that is truly perfect and good for use. Especially in the investment sector it will make you profit.

DDoS ruins lives.

Probably a ddos.

Cool. Glad they got there ok.
1849  Other / Meta / Re: Minimum rank to vote on polls? on: August 26, 2018, 09:32:44 AM
I PMd theymos about the possibility of implementing or allowing it (even if it's just a one off). The poll would be useless if they're allowed to vote.
1850  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: August 26, 2018, 08:18:40 AM
I think you should start giving bonuses out to the users who get the most merit  Wink Tongue

magneto, did you really need to merit this? Merit shoudn't be used as a 'thanks' button, especially merely for this.
1851  Other / Meta / Re: I need help from Cyrus or theymos on: August 25, 2018, 03:34:11 PM
I don't know. I've suggested they do.

I wonder how long you offered them this? And did you offer your candidacy?
If you take it seriously, then in one day you could solve all the issues that have accumulated for the entire time. It's strange that the responsible moderators do not do this.

Yes. I've made many suggestions over the years including adding more mods and admins to meet demand. I offered as such publicly only recently: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4893744.msg44447202#msg44447202 (read the first post to see all the suggestions I've made over the years).

If I was going to be made an admin though it would have likely happened by now, but somebody needs to be doing things like account restorations and adding more merit sources etc plus all the other admin duties. If there's nobody on staff that can be trusted or is qualified to do it then theymos needs to hire someone which he did mention the possibility of a while back, but merely mentioning the possibility isn't enough. People really shouldn't have to be waiting a year to get their accounts back.
1852  Economy / Reputation / Re: 20 Senior members are waiting DT for red trust abusing bounties + 100smallerACC on: August 25, 2018, 02:49:40 PM
    bump

Given you are not slapping these UID's with Red Paint TM why exactly do you expect others to do it for you?

    For 3 reasons:

    • 99% of people don't cares about not DT trusted feedbacks
    • some managers do not cares about the trust at all, even the DT Red trust on their campaing so my feedback will be useless (we are talking about Bounty cheaters)
    • like in a trial, I Like the idea of accusation and judgment will be coming from different people (sorry for my English this verbal form is probably wrong).
How do you think you get on DT? Nobody is going is going to put you on there if you don't leave any feedbacks.
Just seen this thread from this post:

I received a PM today with a typical excuse:

    Hello sir,
I'm representing my friends to appeal about our accounts that you give negative trust due to this post.
    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4650049.0
I wish to inform you that those accounts not belong to a single person, we are making a community to perform bounty campaign.
Does working on bounty campaign with our own individual account against the rules?
About the those wallet that are connected to each other, we used it to safe the fee of transaction.
Some of our team today (the other member are working at home, at the moment):

here is our website : http://kidoelkempoel.com/index.html
Please kindly reconsider, and please remove the negative trust on our account.
    Thank you.
I hear the explanation of what I bolded above a lot.  Transaction fees are pretty damn low, so there's really no reason why funds should be pooled--and given that blockchain transactions are the only good way to prove accounts are connected, people shouldn't be doing this.

Can't believe they actually sent a picture of this.
So many levels of wrong:

more than 1000 views and silence ...
     Angry Angry Angry

They just don't seem to be restoring accounts at all right now so unless they start anytime soon you're sadly just wasting your time with this.
1855  Other / Meta / Re: I need help from Cyrus or theymos on: August 25, 2018, 02:19:44 PM
Already a lot of time has passed, but administrators have not paid attention to my problem yet!
Are there any other people who can write about this?

Sadly not. All you can keep doing is bumping this thread and PMing them but it's likely futile until they actually start restoring accounts.

Do you mean that they do not do this at all now, do they not restore accounts and other members of the forum?

    It seems that way.

So why does the administration not appoint a person responsible for this work?

    I don't know. I've suggested they do.

A lot of people suffer from the actions of scammers and are waiting for the help of the administration.

I know. It's unacceptable but there's sadly nothing more I can do.

1857  Economy / Reputation / Re: [ANN] everytime you don't like what someone says, doesn't mean it's QS on: August 22, 2018, 08:15:43 PM
But there actually was a time when QS would just hop onto a new account just to hassle people. Her seems to have mostly moved on from that now. Even he likely got bored of it. Kinda futile either way when everyone knows it's him.
1858  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: August 22, 2018, 04:36:15 PM
    where is the Internet?

when we use the word "air" to describe the internet, or where our data are stored, is it truly in the air? I mean we go to sleep knowing our email, our records are on air, and we pull it out anytime we want, are we sure it is not saved somewhere where someone is in control of them without our knowledge? what do you think about this?
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: August 22, 2018, 07:45:31 AM
The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

    Some guidelines:

    1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.
    2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
    3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.
    4. No referral code spam
    5. No NSFW content

but what if our project is really promising?

The rules still apply whether your project is 'really promising' or not. What exactly are you not not ok with here? You want to be able to shout and swear about it or what?
    1860  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHERE CAN I GET THE MERIT? on: August 21, 2018, 08:45:56 PM
You get merit from number 2. I thought everyone knew that?
Nope, maybe other members knew it but I really don't have any idea what it means. What does it means anyway? I'm really curious to find it out before I go to sleep pretty late in the evening (actually it's morning 1:55 am).

Well as you probably know there is 'one' and 'two'. One is mostly nothing but two can get you merit but only if you do 'one' twice which is two, but you need to do it fast like 11 (not eleven) with one second in between. That can get you one merit (but not always). It's pretty straight forward to be honest and I'm surprised a Senior Member doesn't know this by now, but nothing surprises me here any more.
