It's probably either just an old board that was archived or some sort of Russian trashcan as tranthidung  said.
1002  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum lagging today? on: October 22, 2020, 05:36:20 PM
It's been fine for me but maybe the forum is under a bit more traffic than usual with bitcoin going over £10k and the Paypal announcement.
1003  Other / Meta / Re: Where is my merits? on: October 22, 2020, 04:50:46 PM
You've already managed to get seven somehow so it can't be that hard. I'd just start again with a new account if I was you seeing as you have several negative feedbacks. Just learn from your mistakes this time.
1004  Other / Meta / Re: I want post me personal site on: October 20, 2020, 05:02:45 PM
You want help about where to post it? Depends what it is. If it involves bitcoin then maybe post it in service announcements or tell us more information here so we can help you.

I think he's soliciting a web developer.

I am looking for a scrypts php programmer to work together with another programmer in the termination of a domain, with demonstrable experience in programming, I pay well in crypto and fiat for transferences know, credit card and more, I have about a few weeks of work or a month depends how fast and good it is and also I have work after the domain programming as a chat controller or maintenance of the site for the whole year.

Thanks!

If that's the case then it goes in Services as long he's paying in bitcoin, though it can also go in Altcoin marketplace where it is now if he pays in alts also.

1006  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: October 19, 2020, 10:52:06 AM
I'd still prefer to have a buy-in - even if 5 of us are playing. I'm way more focused and interested in a pool if I actually have some of my own money in it - no matter the fact it's not a lot.

Probably just a personal thing, if the majority prefers no buy-ins, I'm ok with that as well. But over a course of the season, 25£ is really not a lot of money.

Huge shout-out to buywatress, cheers mate!

I'm sure most of us are ok with £25. I'll still wait a month or so before I collect money in. I think ten people have signed up so far. I sent an message on superbru to everyone who joined the old pool so maybe we'll get some bites from that as well.
1007  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: October 19, 2020, 10:39:25 AM
I'll send the link shortly to people but for everyone else you can join superbru now and put your picks in already. buywatress offered to sponsor the pool again at 0.015 so there's a little boost to the pot. If we don't get many sign ups maybe we could just play for that or something.
1008  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: October 17, 2020, 07:27:34 PM
I assume so, but I haven't created our pool yet. As long as your scores are in then it's fine though.
1009  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: October 17, 2020, 01:48:24 PM
The champions league starts next week so if anyone wants to play please state so. If you might be interested you can sign up to superbru as its free and put your scores in now and if you decide to join the pool at any point your scores transfer over. I'll give people a month to pay so you can join the pool now and that should be plenty of time to get the money together.
1010  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How should post 'quality' be defined? on: October 16, 2020, 02:03:35 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0

What counts as an unsubstantial or unconstructive post? There is obviously no set definition to what constitutes unconstructive posting as it is entirely subjective and is ultimately down to Staff opinion on what posts are constructive or not, but generally it is quite easy to spot a spammer posting only for payment. Spam can come in many forms, but a typical spammer's posts will often follow some sort of pattern which will be immediately obvious upon inspection and will usually consist of one or two sentences of rehashed opinion posted as fast as possible with the minimal amount of effort being put in. A quality/constructive poster will generally have no pattern to their posting history and will have posts ranging from one word to one sentence to several paragraphs and everything in between and this is what you should be aiming for. If you find yourself in a position where you are forcing yourself to reply to a thread due to your signature campaign then that's a pretty good indication that you're likely making unsubstantial posts.

Helpful suggestions:

• Firstly, just put some actual thought into your posts. Actually read the thread and the replies already posted. Often-times people will just read the title of the thread and post without fully understanding the topic or issue and make either irrelevant posts or say the same thing that has been said numerous times before.

• If somebody asks a specific question and it gets answered adequately within the first post or two nobody needs to read another ten replies saying the same thing just reworded slightly. If you cannot offer any additional info or clarify/correct something then you probably don't need to post it.

• If you struggle with English it's probably best to try stick to your Local boards. Your English does not need to be anywhere near perfect and you will not be penalised for this but if people generally can't understand what you're saying then it will likely be considered unsubstantial or spam.

• Short replies are not always bad and long ones are not always good. Sometimes all that is required is a simple one word yes or no response, but stretching out an answer just to appear constructive usually has the opposite effect.

1011  Other / Meta / Re: 25 Messages deleted in one bulk. Why is that. Not sure what I did wrong!!!! on: October 16, 2020, 09:09:56 AM
There's no reports on you in the queue so someone didn't report them. Maybe contact the sub board mod of the board they were removed from.

Keep spreading the word. Need to get people signed up and get their picks in on superbru. Worry about paying later on.

I'm in as well, time to kick big_daddy's ass this year!

Buy-in amount is ok for me, just be careful of false signups if you're collecting money late. I'm sure you'll find a way to deal with it though if something like that occurs.

Well they'll be removed if they don't pay.

you can count me in as well
by the why, maybe it is not the right topic, but happened with Watford shirts in Premier league competition, did not catch that up, maybe it is my mistake

I'll let you know when they update me about it but they said they're working on it.
1013  Other / Meta / Re: I ask for help about the ban shef198911 on: October 15, 2020, 05:15:55 PM
I've never done it but I assume it's the same or very similar to bitcoin so just Google or youtube how to do it or ask in the Alt Coin section if you're stuck.
1014  Other / Meta / Re: I ask for help about the ban shef198911 on: October 15, 2020, 05:00:08 PM
mkei is asked to make a subscription message, but I have no btc address anywhere in my profile and on the forum so that I can confirm it, and the lostup to the account is completely closed, how do I make a signature? or just make a signature with your btc address without confirmation on the forum?

It needs to be from an address posted on the forum. If you sent one via PMs then that could also be used.

Edit: you've posted an eth address here which could be used:

Count me in, as always Cheesy
I agree that 25 pounds is optimal signup fee. I think we can get at least 20-25 players in the pool.

That might be difficult. Not that long before the tournament and we always get a couple of drop outs. Just keep the CL threads active and hopefully we'll get some bites before the start. If anyone knows others who might be interested then let them know.
1016  Other / Meta / Re: I ask for help about the ban shef198911 on: October 14, 2020, 03:37:16 PM
Can you look in your drafts and see and maybe post the message here. I'm wondering did you maybe quote one of the messages? Most of the accounts that have been hacked recently have been ones that were inactive for a couple of years, but maybe you had a weak password or something.
1017  Other / Meta / Re: I ask for help about the ban shef198911 on: October 14, 2020, 03:01:32 PM
It seems you might have been banned for posting the eth pill malware. The post is removed so I can't see it but did this happen? You can look in your drafts to see. It was posted in this thread: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) which I think is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0

1018  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2020 Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread £25 in bitcoin to join on: October 14, 2020, 01:50:23 PM
let the games begin, count me in.
I have some positive memories from 2019/20 season, maybe I can be better this time.  Cheesy

OP, have you contacted anyone as a potential sponsor? Or we waiting for initiative from himself?

Nope. Hhampuz said he will ask roobet a while back but mentioned that they didn't seem too keen before. Think buwaytress offered to sponsor the pool again but I'll have to get an update from him. If someone doesn't make an offer within 24 hours or so I might start a week-long auction or something.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 14, 2020, 01:33:40 PM
As a Barca fan, I actually prefer for CR7 to be fit and healthy in time for our clash. He always brought out the best in Messi and this time he's meeting a much weakened Barcelona, but I personally think our team rises to the occassion when Messi is extra fired up, and for sure the presence of Ronaldo will do that:)

Who doesn't want to see Ronaldo play? Him vs Messi is always good to see.

By the way, if anyone wants to to join the upcoming Champion's League pool you can do so here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282018.msg55378160#msg55378160

It will cost around £25 in bitcoin and all the money taken in will be split between the top five users at the end of the competition. Due to starting it late I won't be collecting in money until a month or so from now so get signed up asap and worry about paying later.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool Discussion thread on: October 14, 2020, 01:30:23 PM
Sorry about the delay. Sign up thread has just gone live: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282018.msg55378160#msg55378160

It will be around £25 to join but as examplens said above I won't collect the money in until a month or so from now so we can maximise getting users signed up.
