That picture is scaring me.
I wish there was a Bitcoin atm near my house so I can buy some btc. Hopefully in a few years.

I like free distributed coin but the distribution should be transparent, the developer never let us know how many people are connected at every point in time, unlike MCL dev, you will actually know the number of people who are to share the hourly distribution from the faucet.
It's IP related, only 1 client per IP and VPN's can't be used. How does the client detect if you are using a VPN? If it works the same way as MiracleCoin then VPN's won't work as far as I know Yes but how? I guess this is a question for the dev to answer.

Why the above fact is good:
Because then the coin becomes a lot more scarce, therefore more expensive.
Sorry, but that is untrue! The amount of coins generated is still the same, no matter what the miner is. It becomes more concentrated in the hands of few, not more scarce! And concentration does not increase the value, but also makes it more prone to pump&dump schemes. So no, those are not good reasons to have GPU miners. The good reason to have a GPU miner is, as Mr. Spread already said, that SOMEONE ALREADY HAS ONE and is keeping all the coins to himself! So making a free GPU miner that everyone can use will ease this concentration, at least for now. I meant that people with cpu's stop getting a lot of coins because it is harder to mine. I guess you're right. With Bitcoin it seems that at the end/start of ever month the miners dump their coins to pay the bills. But that's what makes it secure. If one person can easily get more than 50% of the hashrate then something needs to be done.

I just had a massive blackout. I lost 3 hours of payouts! Oh well...

It's simple just divide 200,000 by the payout you receive and you'll have the number of opened wallets That means we have 19,000 people connected to this right now So the payout is currently 10? Because 200000 / 19000 = 10. If the current payout is 1190 then 200000/1190 = 168. So we have 168 people connected right now,

Jumped in. Hope the dev is more activ as the dev of miracle.
Right. Miraclecoin was good. But lack of presence of dev completly destroy the value and coin itself. Miraclecoin dev always tell the community that he will work on the coin only in free-time,only in week-end etc etc. But nowadays market is no more following this trend, even if you got the best altcoin ever. Dev have to post often, frequent, and discuss with community, early adopter, and future investor,to gain trust and faith by the investors. This is what killed miraclecoin. The non-post for days of the dev,and his non-presence on the forum. How much is the hourly payout of miraclecoin right now? Or did distribution finish? The cool thing about this coin is that you can abbreviate it to Fyou coin. For the scam "developers".

What a shame. I'm (supposed to be) in 10th grade too. I made my own coin by editing the source and changing the Merkel root and stuff but I got stuck in compiling the windows wallets. Looks like you got past me. Oh well.

Oh wow cool! Got into Miracle late, glad I found this one early on Thanks @Shadow_Runner for the nodes, wouldn't have been able to sync without them So what was the last payout like? Also is that a pic of Liam Neeson?? Awesome! EDIT- Forgot to say, love the wallet!! The last payout was 1257. Seven* coins more than the payout before! Hopefully by later tonight (its 7:25pm here) the payout goes up to 2k. I'm going to leave my laptop on all the time these 3 weeks so I can get a lot of coins. I love coins that give people with no mining hardware a chance to earn some btc. *because putting 7 there makes it look like a decimal

Why making a GPU miner is good:It will cost people a lot more power to generate a block, this will then boost the price because the price normally depends on the amount of electricity required to mine a block. Why making a GPU miner is bad:The average joe with a laptop won't be able to mine a block unless they are extremely lucky. Why the above fact is good:Because then the coin becomes a lot more scarce, therefore more expensive. See! A GPU miner is good! Btw, once the GPU miner comes out, I would recommend you hold your coins until the price rises by at least x10.

Found this, works great. Received my first payout with 1324.5 coins.

In case anyone wants to try it Nope, it doesn't work. It detects your ip (I assume).

Alright! Time to get some coins!

Hey guys, what's the payout now? I hope it is still high when I get home. In 3 hours.

I'm in, but at school. I guess I missed being a really early adopter!

|

This is great! I think i'll use this. Btw it's very quiet...

|

Mr Spread, how's the GPU miner going? Is it going to be released really soon?
|
|
|
Yes, several. I recognize this one. As a kid I used to catch them and fed them lettuce leaves. They had a pretty voracious appetite. You fed lettuce to maggots? Interesting. With those huge teeth, you would think they wanted meat! You guys have it all wrong!! He was talking about this little guy!
