1862  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Ελληνικά) / [ANN]BETEX P2P Binary Options—ΣΥΓΚΕΝΤΡΩΘΗΚΕ $1ΕΚΑΤΟΜ+ on: March 31, 2018, 08:20:27 AM

Για την Betex

MVP

1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sky is falling, what is everyone doing... on: March 31, 2018, 05:32:42 AM
The cryptos won't collapse, imagine this period as a chance to buy more coins cheap. I think that the most 'big' investors do the same, and benefit of people who sell their coins at low prices. If your investment is made of money you afford to lose, don't sell. I'm sure that very soon all the coins you have mentioned are going to double their prices. If you need them, to pay your rent or mortgage, you have a dilemma.

It looks like the crypto market is in a free fall.  Btc around 7k, eth under $400, ltc around $100, alt coins are generally down significantly.  So what is everyone doing?  Go all in and buy more?  Sell and get out while you can?  Hodl and trust the process?
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there still future for digital currency? on: March 31, 2018, 05:18:36 AM
Digital currency is the future. This is for sure. What we don't know yet is, if one of the current cryptos will prevail. I hope it will. Imagine the benefits for a country or government, 0 cost for typing paper money or coins. Today's cryptomarket is unstable but a digital currency supported by a country could have a stable value.
What I am writing is, for a centralized (supported by a government currency). I don't like it much. I hope that BTC or another decentralized alt is going to prevail.

As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. Ive seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Its opposite as of now, almost below expected. Is this the end for the digital currency?
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: lets work out a portfolio on: March 30, 2018, 07:39:35 AM
Ethereum has the price it had in November 2017. I think it is a good choice for investment, and it won't collapse as many people think, because of the tokens that it supports. Personally, I would wait to buy at $350. The Litecoin, you've mentioned is a great coin, but I'm skeptical because of the last bad news of Litepay. Litepay didn't come and the company that would make it real, it is for sale. Scam? Who knows.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be Careful Of The Traps/Scam In The Smart Contract Ethereum on: March 30, 2018, 06:53:55 AM
in my opinion, you shouldn't share with us the private key of the account. I suggest you delete it as long as few people have seen it (in his post). It would be better to post or email it to the official web page of Ethereum or Twitter. Someone has set a trap. There must be a program checking constantly the Ethereum balance of the account and sending this amount to a second address. send this post to the scam section of the forum, without the private key.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin? on: March 29, 2018, 07:55:56 AM
If you check the market prices, you'll see that both coins, bitcoin, and ethereum, have low prices. No one knows if they continue to fall in the coming weeks or months Due to regulations, bad rumors and other reasons, we are facing a big correction in all alts. This is not the end of the crypto world. Bitcoin is the most known crypto and after the implementation of Lightning in the coming months it will regain higher prices again. By the way, I believe it is a good opportunity to invest in both coins, but don't spend more money that you can afford to lose.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is market going to bounce back before September? on: March 29, 2018, 06:48:21 AM
If you're afraid that what you read will come true, it would be better to sell your investment in cryptos and keep your fiat. The crypto world is for those who have money to lose and don't afraid it. The market is so volatile with the prices moving up and down that none is able to predict prices six months before. What I can suggest you is to join a bounty and work for it. You'll be able to make some money without being afraid to lose your fiat.

Looking at fresh news surfacing every week about some negative progress in cryptocurrency. The news we have lately:

1) Goldman Sachs saying BTC will dip to south of $5000

2) G20 possibly looking at cryptocurrency regulation.

3) Japan & HK regulating cryptos

4) Overall Alts being REKT at lowest prices since last September

I ask a question to myself, Will the market bounce back until September this year ?

Lets have a healthy discussion
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you profit from airdrop? whats your biggest airdrop of all time ? on: March 28, 2018, 06:43:48 PM
After spending a lot of time every day on airdrops what I got, after two months was 11 coins with three of them worth from 0,11 to 7,91 dollars. That's it. The rest 8 worth zero and about 3 - 4 hundred never arrived. Trying to sell these coins I've found out that the fees I had to pay in order to sell them was, probably, more than the profit, if I could find a buyer. What I have to say is that it doesn't worth. If someone else gained more than me he was very lucky.

1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your Bitcoin 10% over the current market rate? on: March 27, 2018, 07:58:17 AM
You can do it by using an exchange. There are exchanges where you have BTC/USD or BTC/EUR pairs. There is no reason to send them to your PayPal account, I don't know how much the PayPal fee is. If you don't trust the exchange to keep your fiat there, you can deposit your money into your bank account, and move them to the exchange whenever you want to buy again the crypto.
Beside this, I think PayPal doesn't accept buying cryptos anymore.

If you had the opportunity, would you do it?
For example, you buy 1 Bitcoin for 8000$ and sell it for 8800$ but the money goes to your Paypal account?
And you could do it over and over again?
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LitePay a New Litecoin Payment App to Be Launch Within 2 Weeks on: March 27, 2018, 07:48:51 AM
I think they just wanted to make money, buy low and sell high. They pumped the price.

To the Entire LTC Community,

We wanted to inform you that a couple of days ago, the Litecoin Foundation was contacted by Kenneth Asare, CEO of LitePay, informing us that he has ceased all operations and is preparing to sell the company.

Prior to that, the foundation had approached Kenneth regarding his less than transparent nature with the company and to express our, and the community’s, concerns regarding his recent Reddit AMA.  It was at this time that Kenneth asked the foundation for more funds to continue operations.   The foundation refused any further funding as he was unable to provide a satisfactory picture of where the money had been spent and refused to go into exact details about the company and show objective evidence to back up his statements.

We are greatly disheartened that this saga has ended in this way and we apologize for not doing enough due diligence that could have uncovered some of these issues earlier.  We are currently working hard to tighten our due diligence practices and ensure that this does not happen again.

Litecoin was doing perfectly fine before the promise of LitePay and will continue to do so.  The ecosystem is far bigger than one company and is continually growing with support from many others with market ready products joining the space and fulfilling their promises to make it easier for the world to use Litecoin.

In the end, this is a valuable lesson for us to have learned. Litecoin and our community is as strong as it has ever been and we look forward to many great things to come. Thank you for your continuous support!

– The Litecoin Foundation
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: <$500 ETH. What do you do? on: March 27, 2018, 07:44:15 AM
Whatever you buy these days it is, in my opinion, a very good opportunity. Right now, all the cryptos, Bitcoin, and the alts have very low prices. Even if the prices move lower, eventually you will make a profit. The prices won't be so low forever. Eth will go to the 1k + price soon, and even higher. What we don't know is the price that Ethereum can reach. It has the potential for sure, to surpass Bitcoin.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your experience with paying with btc/crypto in real life? on: March 26, 2018, 09:47:38 AM
In the town, I'm living there is no one accepting cryptos. Just an accountant who accepts Bitcoin, but I don't need an accountant. So my experience is zero. I've made some transactions myself to see how to use a wallet, and that's it. I'm planning next month to travel to a city, where they accept cryptos and there are 2 or 3 ATMs selling and buying them. This one will be my 1st experience and I hope not the last one.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC and other regulators etc. who cares? on: March 26, 2018, 09:22:05 AM
I have to agree with your words. I don't believe anymore that the majority in this forum (or in any other forum or exchange) is dreaming of a decentralized future free of control from banks and institutions. This was the dream of Satoshi and of few developers in the early days of Bitcoin. If you read the threads you'll see that 95%+ wants quick gain and turn them back to fiat. Although it is not bad to desire profit, I think I'm still a dreamer, dreaming of a better world.

Being based in Switzerland we participate in a lot of conversation about the future of crypto and regulation. Every time I raise the topic of regulation (e.g. security tokens vs. utility tokens, legality of ICOs)  this with the crypto community not many people in the community (e.g. on bitcointalk or reddit) seem to care.

Is the crypto community here purely interested in gains from trading, regardless of regulation? Are only bankers, lawyers and business consultants interested in setting the rules, controls and regulation?

Just curious to hear your views and opinions about the future of regulation and in case you read this, perhaps you could recommend other discussion groups for this type of conversations.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW fees issue - cheapest way (Trezor)? (noob) on: March 25, 2018, 11:30:04 AM
You have to buy some Ethereum. You can send some fiat money (dollar, euro, etc) in an exchange and then send Eth to these addresses with the tokens. I don't think, there is another way. If you don't have money, find a bounty paying in bitcoin, wait for the payment and exchange it to Ethereum. There are not many bounties paying in bitcoin at the moment, but it worth trying to find one. I can't find any other way, good luck.

Ok so I got Trezor and witdrew some erc20 tokens to MEW via Trezor. I used a different address each time becase I didn't know there were going to be ETH fees for sending tokens from my wallet, I thought there will be token fees. In fact I found instructions the encourage different addresses - well played! Now I need some ETH for each address and I am going crazy because of exchange withdrawal fees just to get ETH. What is the cheapest way to solve this?
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful of ETH from all altcoins. on: March 25, 2018, 10:57:40 AM
Ethereum is a great coin indeed, but I'm worried about those ICOs that could collapse. What would happen if 2 - 3 or more ICOs would fail, wouldn't this cause a tsunami to the other ICOs? Then the price of Ethereum would go down and eventually affect other crypto's price too. The smart contract is a great invention indeed, but good things and evil ones go together. Unfortunately, there is no an investment without a small risk.

1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH crashing long term?? on: March 23, 2018, 09:38:19 AM
I don't think so. Ethereum won't crash with so many ICO running. The ether needed to buy / sell the tokens is enough to support the price. The problem would be if a number of the ICOs would crash. That would cause a tsunami, that could affect the rest ICOs and probably other coins too. Right now we have a new correction after so many regulations of the past weeks and the news that G20 will discuss the crypto problem.
