1861  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 24, 2021, 03:49:29 PM
This has been an issue for quite a long time in my country. The funniest part of it all is that even back then the unemployment rate was less than what we have now, but people back then still complained about it and now it has gotten worse. If people back in those days were to see how much things has gotten worse this time around, in terms of unemployment, they would even be grateful of their own time.

This time around in my country people who are yet to graduate are advised to learn skills that would help them to be self employed after they have graduated from school. Because, the government will not be able to provide jobs for everyone, so it’s best to learn other skills that can help you to create your own business and be self employed, rather than waiting for the government to give you job, which may never work out. People who were hired before you are even yet to retire, and as more people graduate every year the rate of people who are searching for jobs increases.
1862  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Digital currencies will make monetary policy more difficult on: December 24, 2021, 11:42:18 AM
When a crisis arrives, central banks usually say that they will do whatever it takes to solve it, which usually means ridiculous amounts of money being printed a large amount of debt being bought. The traditional banking system "multiplies" the effect as a result of the fiduciary system (you can lend more than you have).

With the new digital central currencies such as yuan, euro, dollar,... anyone could potentially hold an account on a central bank skipping the intermediaries. I think that this will have a negative effect on the ability to cope with further crisis by monetary policies. The risk should not be ignored.
I am yet to fully understand what this central bank digital currency is all about and how it is going to work. OK I do understand that it is going to be paired with the Fiat currency, which means that both of them are going to have the same value, but what I’m Yet to understand is whether these central bank digital currencies are going to be a different currency/assets on their own that can be printed by the government at anytime and different from the fiat, or they would just be linked to the current Fiat that we are making use of now, meaning that every time one Fiat is printed, it is also represented in a digital form.

Although I don’t really see the need for these central bank digital currencies, because we already have means for doing transactions online, so it’s totally unnecessary, we have bank apps and we have PayPal, so what’s the need?
1863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: December 23, 2021, 09:20:09 PM
I saw an opportunity to make a profit by arbitrage trading. The price difference in some exchanges seems like it could make a profit. I'm just thinking, not sure. does it could really make any difference because if any transaction takes more time then any trader will lose the initial money.
Right now in my nation there is a "good" chance to do arbitrage. Our fiat currency turned into dollars or back from banks is different than our stablecoin in binance, which means if I turn my fiat into dollars from my bank, send that dollars to binance, turn that back into my fiat, and repeat this cycle forever there is a lot of money to be made. You know what the real problem is? I can't send dollars from my bank account to binance, if I was capable of doing that, then I would be in so much profit right now.

Sometimes arbitrage possibility is there because you can't arbitrage it, there is no options available for you to do it and that means you will get to see it as a chance only because nobody can do it, since it is not something I can do, it is also not something anyone else can do and the gap grows bigger and bigger and we are just force to watch it.
1864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc price sideways not what the traders want on: December 22, 2021, 09:45:06 PM
I dont see the point or the favoritism of traders on a sideways or consolidation market knowing that there are no volatility or movement in price then i dont see for it to be that good looking since you couldnt really find any entry whether you do buy or sell because you would be having a hard time on telling on where the price
could possibly heads up.

I dont really prefer this kind of condition and i do rather see those high fluctuations yet you could really make out some positions and take
risk on making trades and get those considerable profits if you do succeed.
Honestly long term traders do not care about high volatility because it doesn't change much, they care about their entry point and they care about whenever they exit, many long term people who got in VERY early into bitcoin got out, they do not care if it is higher now.

Imagine you got in with 10k dollars back when it was just 100 dollars, you bought 100 bitcoins, now you sell and you have 5 million dollars, I am not entirely sure if people would care their 10k becoming 5 or 6 or 7 million. Sure that's a big change but they are already quite happy so that extra one million may not change so much. Which means there are some people who do not care if it goes sideways or highly volatile, for us, it's the same.
1865  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 21, 2021, 04:04:39 PM
Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming. January is usually a long month that carries along a lot of expenses, make plans and preparations now for tomorrow, spend wisely today.
You are right. I have seen a lot of people that are taking out money to spend for the festive season, seriously I have no such plans at all. For sure there would be little merriment, but not the type that would require me to break the bank and make huge expenses, nah I can’t do that. I’m conscious of what I am doing and how I am spending this period. Anything that I am doing is just going to be small expenses that won’t cost much.

I already have my savings locked up, and I am making plans on which coins to invest in before the new year starts. Although I have a few already in my wallet and they are doing fine, just like the Terra Luna that has been increasing for a long time.
1866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: December 19, 2021, 08:48:17 PM
in 2022 we are expecting the bitcoin price to make more new all-time highs. if we look back at this year 2021 we witnessed the bitcoin price making several new all-time highs and we hope to see more in the future because the bitcoin bull market is not yet over. if the bitcoin price can manage to do at least 4x before the end of 2022 we will see bitcoin price at $200,000+ which is going to be a very good year for bitcoin if that happened indeed!
I am not sure about 4x at all, I am not saying that it can't do that, of course it could reach 200k and even more because there is technically no limit to what bitcoin could become, and 200k is not really that impossible, it is a simple 4x and in bitcoin world that is not a lot.

I am only saying, bitcoin first needs to reach 100k and that seems like a tough challenge all by itself, I am not sure how easy that will be, maybe we will need a full on year to just pass 100k and stay above that, which is the hardest part. We could always do 200k+ and more after 2022 ends, we just need to calm down and hope for the best and break the ATH we have right now and stay above 100k by the time new year ends.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better to invest your funds in if the alt season starts? on: December 19, 2021, 08:07:19 PM
Let's imagine for a second that the alt season began in early 2022. What to do and in which market segment to invest your funds? NFT P2E or DeFi, or is it better to invest in tokens of promising blockchains like NEAR AVAX MATIC DOT ATOM?
Right now my main focus is promising blockchain tokens and some good DeFi. I am not really interested in NFT, I have not fully understood what all these NFT tokens are all about, almost everyone is creating NFT and putting it online and you can’t even know what’s going to be worth the investment or not, in fact the way it has worked in general never really interested me.

So, I just focus on the ones that I like and fully understand, which is Blockchain tokens and DeFi. Even in the case of DeFi, I am always very careful and I have selected only very few that I am confident with. In this cryptocurrency market, before you invest in anything you have to be sure about what you are investing, if not, just stay clear from it. I have seen some people complaining about how bad their portfolio has been after they invested in the wrong coins.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfer Ethereum anonymously on: December 19, 2021, 06:31:19 PM
When we talk about cryptos the majority of the people still think that you're completely anonymous when you do your transactions, this is only partially true, because transactions are anonymous but traceable too, and even an unskilled ""hacker"" could track you down and expose your identity.

So, having said that, does anybody know how to transfer ETH anonymously?...maybe someone could suggest a program, platform that could allow that?
So let’s look at this way: if you’re making use of non-custodial wallet and you received your cryptocurrency through a peer-to-peer trading, and when you want to sell it, you also sold it through peer-to-peer exchange, then you’re likely going to stay anonymous.

Even though your address will be visible on the blockchain and the amount of transactions being done, no one would actually know your identity. I think it’s only possible to get your true identity when you’re registered on a centralized exchange where you have done a KYC, that way you will be traced to the exchange and your identity exposed. And I believe that there are Ethereum mixers that can help to hide your identity while using ETH.
1869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: December 19, 2021, 05:54:45 PM
The most
important thing is that our emotions must be controlled, sometimes have good technical skills without controlling emotions, it can make us
fail to make a profit.

Sure our emotions can mislead us in different ways. For example it can mislead us in :

1. Multiple market entering even when we know it is not the best way to trade, we still enter into it making us to chase the market.

2. It gives us wrong analysis and judgement of the market after we do a proper analysis, we may change thinking that the analysis is wrong.
If you plan up properly then you can trade at multiple markets simultaneously because it's not a big thing for experienced traders. I'm not seeing a big role of emotions in trading in multiple markets but it must need perfect plans which includes accurate signals.

If you trade with the influence of emotions then your accurate signals also might get you losses because you might be taking decisions out of your emotions and not as per your pre-determined plans. Changing your view about your signal while you are not emotionally stable might lead to big collapse of everything because signals are our basics for profitable trading and when you are not good at basics then you cannot continue your trading and you might need to rebuild everything from the beginning.
1870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 19, 2021, 01:54:02 PM
Then I slowly learned a lot from trading. In the beginning, if I went to trade, I would almost always face a loss Now that I have gained some knowledge about trading, I do not face any loss.
Are you sure that you're not facing any loss anymore? That sounds good and means that you're really good at trading right now. Because of what I know, even the best traders are still getting loss with their trades. But if you say so that you're not getting any loss anymore as you trade then that means that you're good.
I am sure that no trader could avoid losses completely; even we are too strong at technical analysis, we may face losses which may be an unrealized one but considering the market fluctuation, I bet no one could escape from losses at crypto trading.

The possible way to avoid losses must be, converting your trading positions into long term holding and then waiting for weeks to years for recovery. But, this way, you are not into trading anymore as you turn an investor. This is the reason, long term holders are not losing anything.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN DO YOU BUY BITCOIN? on: December 19, 2021, 08:16:32 AM
in my case I buy bitcoin based on technical analysis such as:

i expect the price to hit a strong support like $44000 and i expect to see reversal and buy, in case the price breaks the $44000 then i would expect the price to drop to $41500 to $42000 and have reversal and i would buy. I don't buy randomly just because the price always goes up, I don't
Yes technical analysis in making choices in a market like this can be really helpful. I also make use of technical analysis and I’m not the type that will just decide to buy at anytime. Although I do switch up my strategy or the way that I invest in the market.

Sometimes I can decide to invest just at once, and that’s when I feel this technical analysis is most important to me, because I would like to get in at the right time. Then, there are times I would decide to go with dollar cost averaging, which is the method whereby I will have to just keep investing a particular amount every day or week, and as time goes on the amount will increase in my wallet, at this point I don’t really worry much about making use of analysis, but I just keep going, although the first time I might like to do the analysis to know whether the market is down for my starting point, and whether I should go with it or not.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 18, 2021, 09:48:10 PM
The next round is approaching and we could watch an enjoyable match in four days I think. Monaco are going to be having a home match against Rennes. There is no very clear favourite side in this match as both teams can defeat the other one. But Rennes are in a better condition than Monaco as they are 5 points ahead of Monaco and they are at the third place now. Monaco were doing good until the PSG match and they lost that match. Rennes also lost their last match to Nice by 2-1 home. It can be a really competitive match that both teams are scoring in.
Rennes are at their best, I think they can compete against AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II, If Rennes wins their match against AS Monaco, they will immediately be in second place in Ligue 1. Whereas if AS Monaco loses this match, they will downgrade.
With the current home form of Monaco it's not easy for Rennes to win against them, but there is some chance they can take one point which is also not easy as Monaco is also having some good time in last few matches which is bringing them above in league table, and they are already having some good time in Europa League which is helping them for having some better performance in remaining season.

Marseille is also having some good time, and they can retain their spot after having match against Reims which is easy one for them, and they already have one match in hand which is called off at Lyon so in my view it's not easy for Rennes to touch second rank in league table which is also having very strong grip of current holder Marseille.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 18, 2021, 09:01:09 PM
England too much over confidence on the strength of there team lead to such drastic performance in first two tests. On the other hand Australia didn't showed any sign of degradation in performance despite the fact there skipper had to resign just before the Ashes. Australia are truly professional, as there team never depends on few players.
England was never good and no one was feeling good about them just some hype was created by few media reports which was ended after first test result and now second test result is going to be giving them complete silent because all realizes it's just dumb team which can perform some better at home against weak sides.

And playing against Australia, India and New Zealand is completely different thing, so they fail here very badly now mostly peoples feeling this ashes is going to end with result of 5 - 0 which is not wrong because with current players and form it's surely written of the wall. Just some good rain can give them good relief from this, otherwise they are going to be completely outclass by all one off best team in current cricket game in this format.
1874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the market going to dump like that 2018? on: December 18, 2021, 08:26:31 PM
The market has been declining day by day for some time now which has become a matter of concern for investors. Many investors think this is the right time to invest. However, the market does not look like 2018.
If you follow for years then this kind of fluctuations are more common for bitcoin market and it seems market is looking for any positive news to arrive which may happen like how Elon Musk pumps dogecoins.

At the same time we cannot ignore the role of whales who are trying to manipulate market direction to grab cheaper bitcoins. Still I agree with you that market is definitely not looking like 2018 but at the same time it is not trading like how it was trading by the times of 2017 December month.  So, there are lot of possibilities for having another round of bull run which might be taking bitcoin into $100k ATH.
1875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 18, 2021, 07:20:41 PM
People's answer are varies means they have a bad luck on several exchanges but others are not, so it's depends on the luck and the condition at the problem's time.
I am not seeing any luck factor is playing a role on avoiding problems with exchanges here. When you are careful and you are choosing our exchange of the lots of due diligence and recommendation then you can easily avoid problems. I usually go registering new exchanges only when they are having support through bitcointalk or it needs to be recommended by my friends or colleagues.

Usually I do not believe into any recommendation made through social media especially telegram. Always listening to the trusted community will help for sure.
1876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin full integration in payment systems on: December 18, 2021, 06:33:44 PM
So many companies are gradually adopting Bitcoin into their payment system and this has led to the development of various software that will work to connect to the Bitcoin network (blockchain) but this development have encounter various challenges which prompt me to seek to know when can a company be fully integrated in it Bitcoin payment.
I am yet to get what you mean by the question you have asked TV integrating Bitcoin into your platform or website is now really a process that takes a long time, So I don’t get what you mean by when a company will be fully integrated with Bitcoin. There are lots of applications or tools that you can use to integrate Bitcoin payment into your website, one that I know very well is the block chain merchants app that allows you to integrate this feature into your website, so that you will be able to receive payment in Bitcoin from your customers.

This is not even a process that takes a long time, once you install the app you will see that it is quite very easy to do, and once you have set it up it is done. You would then be able to receive payment through this application easily from your customers.
1877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: December 18, 2021, 03:25:03 PM
According to JP Morgan BTC has affected Gold market and increase in popularity of Cryptocurrencies will impact Gold market.
What you guys think about that?
I do think that the bitcoin market is going to take a huge share away from the gold market. A lot of the big investors in the gold market are likely going to start shifting to Bitcoin now that it has become a trend. And I don’t think that there is anyone, especially the big institutions, that would like to miss this kind of opportunity. Most of them are now investing their money in Bitcoin.

Every time, since the start of this year, we have been seeing news of big institutions investing money in Bitcoin, and there are even a lot of them that we are yet to know about. But that doesn’t mean that gold is not still a good investment, gold is still going to continue being a good investment for a lot of people, but Bitcoin might surpass it in the future.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: December 17, 2021, 09:42:54 PM
Barnsley vs West Brom is one match played today in EFL Championship and West Brom is looking like big favorite, but I would be careful betting on them.
Odds are low for away match and they have bad H2H history with Barnsley winning only two times from last six matches.
If we add that West Brom is missing few players for this match this makes me stay away from this match even more.
Barnsley is a team that had seven draws this season and most matches they played with under 2.5 goals, and West Brom is not much better so this will be my bet.

My bet: Under 2.5 goals
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/england/championship/barnsley-v-west-bromwich-albion-61aba3d891e8143b5f6ea099
A very good decision in current circumstances because even West Brom having time, but they fail with very good ball possession and many solid attacks, nothing giving them a goal for having 2 crucial points from this relegation zone team now match is ended with the result of goalless draw with you already won your bet.

Now we already have 5 postponed matches due to covid-19, and it's not going to stop with too many matches already postponed, and some serious breakout happened here in England. We need to be very careful and Authorities need to bring some more stick rules for having some better results they already fail with their soft policies and having some poor management which is not having big trouble around this soccer community.
1879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better to invest your funds in if the alt season starts? on: December 17, 2021, 09:09:11 PM
Let's imagine for a second that the alt season began in early 2022. What to do and in which market segment to invest your funds? NFT P2E or DeFi, or is it better to invest in tokens of promising blockchains like NEAR AVAX MATIC DOT ATOM?
Many people are seeing all these new coins as a way to get out, and some of the not so new ones that got a hype recently as well. Like ADA, SOL, MATIC these are not "brand new" coins by now, they are "old" in a sense that what we call new is usually under 3 months or at most 6 months old, and the youngest one of those is 2 years old. This is why either a brand new one, or one that got fame very recently all end up being popular with people.

I believe that I could invest into "old" ones and still make a ton of money during the hyped period. Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bnb, tron, stellar, atom and all of that have been around for a while and I am pretty sure that it would make me profit if I invested into them.
1880  Economy / Economics / Re: Further adoption of Blockchain | Estonia's case on: December 17, 2021, 04:03:39 PM
Yes, I believe that we would all like to see improvement in a lot of areas where that is needed. The reason why we should be adopting all these technologies is to make Life easier for us. Just look at how things work these days, before you would have to have gone to the bank and stand in the queue waiting for your turn to make a transaction to someone who is in a different location or make a deposit to your bank account, but this time around all these things has been digitalized and you can just stay anywhere and make a deposit to your account or send money to anyone.

Since, Bitcoin was created it has made all these things to also be a lot more easier and faster, now you can send money quickly to a far distance without having to rely on the bank or anything, you can just do it at the comfort of your home by just making use of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency of your choice. So in other areas where all these technologies are necessary, to ease the way things are being done, I believe that it should be adopted.
