1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: February 24, 2023, 05:25:12 PM
BAYC and CryptoPunks have been around for some time already, and I think they deserve the hype they've got and the popularity they've gained over time. But you are right though, I feel a lot of NFT collections are overvalued while some which are much better than them have got not as much value as they deserve.

Gaming NFTs will surely take the market by surprise in these coming couple of years as blockchain-games get a boost. There are a lot of GameFi projects currently being launched that have a lot of potential to explode in a year or so and their in-game NFTs will surely be valuable if the projects become successful.
But crypto market value isn't based on "deserving" the marketcap. People would value different things and i am sure there's enough people for every coin out there saying that they don't deserve their marketcap as high as it is. For a long time now i have accepted that adoption doesn't mean that best tech would win.

It's weird how much i still have defended NFTs in this forum even though i personally don't even understand the value of physical collectables. Maybe that's why it isn't as big leap to me.
I do not think that it's the same, I think it's a bit different for coins and tokens and NFT's, they are all a bit different. First of all, NFT's like that are existing and "deserving" of their marketcap in the sense that it is wide and popular, when something gets hyped by a huge community, you see it go up.

There aren't that many projects which have a bigger community than these, and lower marketcap, all the ones that are bigger, are also bigger in marketcap as well. Sure you can find some people who support even the worst coins, but not a lot of people, because if it was a lot of people, then the marketcap would have been bigger for them as well.
1082  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite sportsbook and why? on: February 23, 2023, 09:38:30 PM
currently I am loyal to several sportsbooks that make me comfortable with all the categories you write about.
my first favorite sportsbooks are Stake.com, Livecasino, Duelbits, Rollbit and Roobet.

of the five sportbooks that I mentioned above are several older sportbooks that I really trust in terms of reputation, trust and lots of promotional bonuses given to loyal customers.
maybe some people here only mention one of their favorite sportsbooks but I have more than one that really makes me loyal to believe in the 5 platforms that I mentioned above.
Most of us here do started with stake ever since they was still a casino and later on add a sports betting catalog. Then there's a couple of gambling sites that emerge on the forum and stay consistent in terms of marketing (sig campaign).

This could be the main reason on why we got confident on trying and sticking on to them than those casinos who rarely does it. Having an active sig campaign is a sign that the casino has a lot of budget and it's true because if we check their ann threads we can see that their forum representative always updates us with a brand new and exciting promotions. Having a one good gambling site is already enough IMO and having 5 is tough one. It seems to me that you are rich to afford all of them, hmm..?
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GeckoAI - new AI project. Crypto analysis and prediction of new growth on: February 23, 2023, 08:24:24 PM
The website needs a lot of work, things are not organized and although the UI isn't so bad, it could be improved. And as said by o48o, almost every hyperlink on the website takes you to the Telegram chat. I understand that the project is still under development but I believe if that was the case, you should have published it when everything was set.

There are no docs, no whitepaper, limited information about the roadmap no dates, etc. Also, do you have any link to prove the partnerships mentioned on the website?
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people really having the wrong concept of savings? on: February 22, 2023, 07:02:45 PM
I don't believe that people have a wrong concept of savings in general, but they can obviously have different perspectives and their own plans with savings. Considering that, someone with a different purpose will think that the other one is wrong if they have a totally different mindset, but at the end of the day, the concept of savings for everyone is only to keep some money somewhere safe for future use, now the use cases of that can differ of course.

For me, I save for multiple purposes, based on what I want to do in the future. I also save some money that I don't plan on using anywhere but just if something comes up unexpectedly which shouldn't put me in a situation where I feel pressurized.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: February 21, 2023, 09:41:24 PM
Since we all know that dogecoin is getting backed by Elon Musk and people also want him to accept payment in dogecoin for his Tesla cars. And since his single tweet can give a boost to the price of dogecoin, what do you think?

Does Elon really take doge to the moon?

The majority of people are believing that Elon will do something and Dogecoin will hit $1 by this year. What do you think guys? Will tesla accept dogecoin as a payment? And the chances are high that other merchants do accept dogecoin as a payment.
I wish I knew that so that I could buy a whole bunch of doge and hold them and wait for Elon Musk to Tweet about it. I wonder how could a coin have significant value if it's value solely depends on an individual influencer and other than his attention nothing else can make it have a better value.

Though I know that doge already has a pretty large community of users and holders but it doesn't really have any specific use case that I know of. I personally would never invest in a token for the sole reason that a celebrity might pump it sometime in future and that may give me some gains over my investment.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future of bitcoin without powerful nations? on: February 21, 2023, 09:23:20 PM
I wouldn't say that china, USA and "Africa" has the same approach to it. First of all China tries to ban it as much as they can, that's true, but USA doesn't, they allow crypto investments and even crypto companies, hell coinbase is a stock market listed company at this moment, you don't get more allowed than that. On the other hand, Africa is a continent, not a nation and each nation in Africa has a different approach to it so we can't just say it like it's one thing, some like it, some don't.

So as you can see, the world is not approaching it all at once with the same view, there will be some nations who support it, and there will be some nations who are against it.
1087  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♛ Alpha.Casino | Crypto| Web3 | Provably fair | Crash |Dice | Casino |👑 🎰🎲 on: February 21, 2023, 08:58:04 PM
Now there are a lot of decentralized online casinos, but it seems to me that all these platforms have one problem, which is a low bankroll and the resulting restriction in the amount of bets, again, betting in such a casino you cannot guarantee receiving funds in case of a win. There will always be explanations that the withdrawal is carried out manually due to problems with dishonest players, so the decentralization in the web3 casino is quite conditional.
This issue happen on unknown casino or new one that is the reason why its so risky to try them our since the risk of not getting out winnings and deposit is there. To avoid such incident choose to play on big casino since they have huge money to cover up the expenses and winnings of their lucky winners. We don't know yet if there's actual good lift up on casino once they upgrade to web3 since most provably scammers will also adopt and find opportunity with this.
There must be a way to check the casinos' bankroll or implement the proof of fund system like what the exchanges are doing so that gamblers will have no doubts to continue gambling once they saw that the casino still have enough funds to pay their players.

Each casino must also have their own betting limit so there is no way that a player can win a lot, resulting for the casino to not pay their winnings. Having a web3 can gain some good impression because web3 is still a new technology and it had some benefits. It allows gamblers to play immediately without needing to sign up anymore. Crypto transfers have also become easier and faster.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: February 21, 2023, 06:32:05 AM
I think nearly all of the newer projects coming out from here on in will likely fail long-term. Some of the older ones (like 2021) that survive will have a rebound. Doodles, CoolCats, World of Women and Gutter Cats come to mind. Also some of the other (original) women-led collections will likely do well again, but less likely the new ones. I won't name names but you can DYOR to find some of these firsts.

While I do think BAYC and CryptoPunks remain overvalued, I still think they'll hold their 50-100 ETH valuations in the coming years. Maybe just not increase against Ethereum that much.

Personally though I'm still a big fan of MoonCats, mainly as it's one of the original 2017 collections. It's only been trading for 18 months though so has a long way to go.
BAYC and CryptoPunks have been around for some time already, and I think they deserve the hype they've got and the popularity they've gained over time. But you are right though, I feel a lot of NFT collections are overvalued while some which are much better than them have got not as much value as they deserve.

1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: February 20, 2023, 10:24:20 PM
According to my opinion, we should stay away from short term trading altogether if we don't have too much experience in trading. Don't just for a little short-term profit at the expense of greater risk, it's better to keep holding and buying more bitcoins every time we have the budget. There is no need to wait for bitcoin to drop to buy as there is no guarantee that bitcoin will fall, and as long as bitcoin has not broken past the old ATH, it is still a good price to buy bitcoin in the long term.
If you trade with minimal capital and then decide to trade short term there will be no guarantee of satisfactory results. Let alone choosing Bitcoin as an option, I personally would not do it except for the long term where the benefits will be more pronounced.

Some people may be good at scalping and indeed their skills are quite capable. But again in long term trading, Bitcoin remains the preferred choice even for experienced traders.
There is no fun nor enough profits in scalping with a very small capital. Even if you get 10 to 20% profit everyday, that wouldn't be enough for the time you will spend watching charts and analyzing different markets and coins. So if someone wants to do short term trading or scalping, they will definitely need to start with a capital that is high enough to generate good profits.

For HODLers, no capital is small as long as they got diamond hands. Starting with a small amount and adding on to it over time is the best strategy one can have to accumulate more and more Bitcoins.
1090  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️♥️♣️ CoinSlotty.com - Welcome Bonus, Free Spins, VPN Friendly, KYC from 2 BTC on: February 20, 2023, 10:19:49 PM
All the casino created on the profit base concept,as we know not all the people will earn good money from it.For example,it of 10 slot game.Their will be only one winner, the winner also get the 60 percentage of the bet amount of the entire bet.So in each bet the casino owner or website developers get equal or more then 40 percentage in all bet.So for a month it’s nearly huge money for sure. The sad one is people not inverse the entire money in single casino or new casino. So all the casino need of good marketing team to reach the people. It’s essential one for the gambling site to concentrate on the marketing like Campaign in forum.
Every single business in the world is a profit based business, no matter how big or small, they are do it for profit, don't they? But, this 60-40% thing is a bit confusing for me. I don't think that the house, of a casino, takes 40% of the bet amount even if the player wins. I've played on several platforms myself, and as long as I remember, I used to get 2x, if not, maybe a little less than that cutting the service fee, but 40%? Doesn't sound true to me.

Casinos do let their profit through players losing bets and also from service fees and etc., and that profit is enough for them to cover all the expenses plus everything else they need like marketing funds and promotional funds etc.
1091  Economy / Gambling / Re: PromoTout.com New Gambling & Sports Betting Tutorials & Promotions Site on: February 20, 2023, 09:59:14 PM
Hey everyone. I recently started a new site that posts gambling and sportsbetting guides, articles & promotions. Would you mind taking a quick look and letting me know what you think so far?

We’re at promotout.com

If you have any other ideas for how we can grow please let me know!
Your website requires content, a lot of it, in order to stand out. And you will need to do some research and writing (if you do that yourself, otherwise ask your writer to do it) about topics that are getting a lot of hype at the moment. There are many new casinos and games released recently and a lot releasing in near future. You can focus on them, and also, try a bit harder in promoting it.

Writing techniques and content representation will determine the amount of revisits from unique visitors to your site. So focus on that by keeping it one of the primary objects of your articles and publications.
1092  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: February 20, 2023, 09:28:59 PM
I have been associated with trading platforms for a long time. I have earned a lot of money in my life by trading. I lost a lot of money from my life by trading again. But till date I could not learn anything well from this trading platform. Some times even after doing a lot of analysis I have to fall into losses. But to those who think trading platform is very easy, I want to say that trading platform is not as easy as you think. Trading definitely requires good experience. People with zero experience never get success from trading platform. They may succeed in one or two trades for some time. This increases their greed to a great extent and they get deeply involved in the trading platform and invest huge amounts of money in the trading platform and at one time they lose everything.
It's utter foolishness to invest all your time only watching charts or doing analysis without having the fundamental knowledge required, and it's even more foolish to invest big chunks of money in something that you are not entirely familiar with and can't even manage the risks associated with your investment.

People who spend all their time on trading but aren't knowledgeable enough need to spend some time learning first of all. And once they acquire the knowledge and experience required, they can start investing and manage the risks along with profits and losses they might face in the process. Trading is not a one sided game where you always win, of course there are losses as well, so it all depends on your strategies if what the overall outcome of your trading will be.
1093  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: February 20, 2023, 09:00:59 PM
It is possible to solve this problem, but we need to make something additional. And using website we just login and start gambling.
There is no one right decision for all of us. Someone gamble only in one casino and he need just one app. The other afraid of catching virus using website. The ideal app would be an app, that works like website only for gambling, but i can`t even imagine how it would works.
But, a virus can still be catch even on the app on our mobile phones and I think they are more lethal because you are installing the app on your system but we shall not worry as there are still anti virus which can detect them. I think the app that you are talking about is not really an app but it was like a bookmark only.

A true app is more richer than that. It doesn't display like the actual website but it was modified or optimized already to give the phone users a much better experience. If you are curious how it works, then why won't you try it on your own? Who knows maybe you will like it and will switch on it? The same with happened with me.
1094  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: February 20, 2023, 03:01:22 PM
I was following this OwL site and OWLDAO gambling token but why they have locked their thread ?

🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect

Is everything OK regarding their site and token?
Looking at the livebet on their gambling site it still looks like there are active players playing there but as for tokens only Coinmarketcap can give an idea of its performance on the exchange and it remains a token with low trading volume and if I'm not mistaken even now it's much lower compared to that previous time was and will always be a constraint for tokens not listed on major CEXs
We can also scroll at the bottom of their gambling site and as we can see the bets there are still moving, which means there are still people who wagers there. Their forum representative already explain the reason on why they locked their thread. I don't see they are closing soon but they only lock their thread maybe to avoid unwanted spams or off topic replies.

There you go @OP, I hope we already shed you some light. You can still choose to gamble on this casino if you want to but if we were you we will avoid investing on their token as it seems it is going down the drain. The bull run is starting and many coins now are recovering but we don't see that happening on their own token.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My List of Altcoins - Discussion and Predictions on: February 19, 2023, 09:41:40 PM
I think you should know and make some note, It's only speculation.

There is no guarantee, even there has some release new tech or feature are gonna to guarantee the price are gonna to be increase. I read from your "SHIBA" speculation, seem like you are sure the price are gonna to be increase after release shibarium.
--
Second, "MEME" coin it's just like gambling. You're investment list by putting these, are trying to follow the trend and the chance fail still high as well. Off-course all the decision is by you, but in my opinion, it's just like gambling.
Its wrong assumption to predict sure uptrend market on a meme coin like Shiba inu who's the price is unpredictable abd high volatility and easily pumped and dumped at any point, so speculation in the coin market is almost and effort that will amount to a waste of time and effort.
-If you invest in Shiba inu or dogecoin you must know that you are just no different from a gmabler who risks losing all his money on a bet.
-Meme coins can't be trusted and their holding is a big risk.
meme coin/token is a very dangerous asset if held long-term, So it's better to sell immediately when you have a big profit or when the altcoin season arrives. I have some meme tokens that I hold, I really have a big intention to sell them all but right now the price is really bad.
Meme coins, in general, depend on social hype that increases buying pressure and hence a significant but temporary rise in the value. But as history says, that only happens once or maybe hardly ever twice in some cases. For Shiba, that already happened when those who got in earlier made hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit while those who invested when it was at the highest lost almost more than a third-half of their invested capital.

So I doubt if Shiba can be revived again and give a chance to those who had lost a great value of their investment during it's rise to at least get a little compensation for their patience if they are still holding on to it.
1096  Economy / Economics / Re: Keanu Reeves says Principle behind Cryptocurrency is Amazing on: February 19, 2023, 09:12:10 PM
If by celebrities, you mean those acting only in movies, then I guess we won't find a lot of them having much knowledge about the technology. But if we look at other sectors such as sports like football, basketball, boxing etc. then we can find that a lot of them are already involved with cryptocurrencies. Such as Cristiano Ronaldo partnering up with Binance to launch his NFT collection, and there are plenty of such examples.

For celebrities from Hollywood specifically, I think it will still take some time before they are totally aware of the technology and maybe learn a little bit about it too when it is way too popular among them.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC women's T20 World cup 2023 Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2023, 08:34:04 PM
In my opinion the one who will make it to the finals is the South African Women, because when it comes to resistance and stamina they are strong based on my observation.

And probably the one they can compete with in the finals is the country of England. This is just my opinion, but let's see what will happen in the end of course.
I think though they may contribute towards the results but stamina and resistance are not the only things required to become successful in cricket or any sports. South Africa haven't really been on top of the game. They're not even number two in Group B, lost 2 out of their 3 matches played.

From what I can see from the Standings, I think Australia is the strongest contender for the finals at this point with 4 in 4 wins and a net run rate of +2.

But, I guess it's still too early to decide since there are still a lot of matches remaining from both sides.
1098  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: February 19, 2023, 06:40:31 PM
if you don't want to withdraw money without KYC you should play decentralized casino because it's safe and without KYC but if you play centralized casino you should follow the rules of the game as they also have rules you have to follow, I'm also not interested in giving KYC then from that I always avoid it let alone withdraw big money of course I will be asked to submit KYC
Some people found themselves in this unwanted KYC position because the gambling website failed to state the fact about KYC verification where every new user can easily read and know what they are going into, I believe they are doing this intentionally, they knew some people will stay away from their website because of KYC verification, but after they win some money they have to abide to get their money withdrawn, users will have no choice but to pass the KYC to get their money out.
There are some things which the casino can't spoonfeed so we are the ones that should look for those things. KYC details are usually located on the terms and condition page and TAC are visible before we click on that sign up button.

It's already up to you if you will read it or not but don't just blame the casino after, if you didn't and then the details are already put on there. I think some casino ann threads here in the forum, will clearly state if they require KYC or not. You can just read them instead if you don't like scanning their TAC page. Asking to their customer support or forum representative is also another alternative that you can do.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here into passive investing (of their time)? on: February 18, 2023, 10:44:03 PM
It's actually quite difficult to find an actual and ongoing passive income source these days. Almost all the investments require you to put in some work, whether on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Some require less time while some a bit more, but maintenance is required for sure.

I myself have not yet been able to find something that I can rely on, which I invest some time on and then it generates passive income for me, though I have some ideas but they can only work in other regions. For example, vending machines can be good source of passive income in the US. I know it can have its downsides and it does require some maintenance and etc., but overall, it's an option if someone can do it.
1100  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: February 18, 2023, 09:32:54 PM
The odds for premier league looks to be pleasing me to wager on Arsenal. Not saying that they will win, but they are at the same points with one game in hand which means that they could be still the leaders soon enough. So that means sportsbet.io believes that Arsenal will lose more points than City for the upcoming period, which is not unlikely, most people think that way as well and I understand it.

However, I wouldn't say that Arsenal has a very low chance neither, a few good games, a few bad ones from City and suddenly they are the leading candidate again, but this time around they would be even closer to the end and would be rather hard to lose that.
