1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Projects Scamming Bounty Hunters on: November 17, 2019, 08:56:50 AM
A lot of projects are scamming Bounty Hunters and taking Bounty hunters for a ride. What can we do to stop this?
Stop joining bounties. As simple as that.

Bounty campaigns run because the bounty hunters want them to run.
As harsh as that may sound, that is the bitter truth. Although not all bounty campaign ends up badly. It would take a lot of effort to find a legit one that would succeed and will not turn out to be a scam. I remember back in the old days when doing bounty campaigns is still profitable 'cause most projects succeed. Nowadays, you'll either end up holding a bunch of useless no-value tokens or be dragged to the bottom with the project you are promoting. Sure, we can suggest to OP and all bounty hunters do to hard assessments, make a thorough research about it but let's be honest here, most bounty hunters will not do that since it's so time-consuming. Most would jump in and join without any hesitation especially when promised with hefty rewards.

This is certainly true. It happened to me multiple times already. There once was a time na nag-search ako ng isang brand and model ng sasakyan through google. No intention of buying, just searching to check its looks and specs and the next thing I knew, these sponsored Facebook ads about cars have suddenly appeared within my Facebook newsfeed. When I searched on google about gaming rigs, then sponsored Facebook ads shows advertisements from various PC/Laptop companies. LOL. I guess google itself is selling your data to major social media companies such as Facebook.

Maybe one other alternative with TOR is Brave Browser?
They do have an option to run a private window with TOR; which basically hides your browsing from your ISP or employer, and hides your IP address from the sites you visit.
With it you can also search on DuckDuckGo to avoid trackers.

Keep thinking positive for the HDX project, because everything is still running and the team is still active in the community, that means they are still active in maintaining the HDX project,
It's not about being active in their community but being transparent.
There's a questionable transfer of their HDX tokens and no one on their team is making official statements about it.
Add to the fact that their telegram administrator's answers vary would mean none of those people really knows what's going on.

no need to doubt we will just see what will be done next
These aren't doubts, it's just a simple question that needs to be answered.

It provides a complete payment solution for individuals or businesses / e-commerce. Unlike other cryptocurrencies, the value of EZpay Coin - EZpay remains unchanged. Instant Transactions & Zero Transaction Fees will play a major role in disseminating it among individuals as well as businesses
I take it the wallet is still in development? I can't find any info about it on the website or even just a demo.

we will lock 90,000,000,000 EZpay in cold wallets stored carefully at the company's headquarters.
Which is where exactly? I've searched your website and found nothing about the people behind this project.
You need to be transparent and have these details on the website so people would trust you and possibly use your platform especially when you require users to undergo KYC process.
You're using .hk on your domain, perhaps you guys are based on Hongkong?
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for cooperation with translators into English from around the world on: November 15, 2019, 05:12:47 PM
And why have you decided that we are looking for people who provide one-time translation or other services?
I didn't. Read again.

We have written in the ad that we are looking for members of our project team (who are fluent in English) for a long-term cooperation. A permanent member of the team and a third-party freelancer providing highly specialized one-time services are different people for different types of cooperation.
It doesn't matter if you're asking for someone to be part of your team or not,
the fact is you're only willing to pay with your currently no-value tokens and no one in their right mind would take part on something (especially a startup) without getting anything in return.
You need to understand that, the way people here see it, your tokens currently have no value. Zero.
Sure you can promise that the token will be immediately listed on an exchange but there no assurance for anybody even the investors that you guys would even fulfill such commitment.
In the end, those are just empty words.

We do not need pieces of advice and opinions of strangers.
Then why post on a forum where people are free to comment and post whatever they like?
If you can't take any advice and opinion, then you guys are bound to fail.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HIN] Housinet – The future of property management is here. on: November 15, 2019, 11:51:22 AM
As you saw on our roadmap, product development hasn’t started yet (Q2 2020). The company is going through the ICO to raise capital and start development.

What whoeier is asking is a minimum viable product (MVP), a product wherein you could show off to your potential investors.
Most projects that are doing ICO's have that even before the presale since it helps them satisfy early investors and also receive valuable feedback for future product development. You'll have a hard time convincing someone to put in their money into your project without an MVP to present them with. So, consider building one before running an ICO.
1867  Economy / Goods / Re: Org Shirt... Asking for Suggestions... on: November 15, 2019, 09:56:09 AM
Maybe add something like QR Code for the user's bitcoin address maybe. Since its crypto, there's probably someone who will scan it and sent you a tip for a cup of coffee. Just my personal opinion.
Someone on our local board suggested something similar and here's what we've come up with.  Cheesy
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]HDX - The Most Valuable EXCH Token! Digital Asset EXCH Star 2019 on: November 15, 2019, 08:03:48 AM
Hydax promised to donate Grin's first year transaction fee to its development team!

The whole year? Wow. That's quite generous of HYDAX.
Currently, someone else has already donated generously towards Grin project. 50 BTCtc [Transaction Details]. No surprise there since Grin itself is a great project.
HYDAX donating its transaction fees towards it will surely help uplift the project even more. Kudos to the team.
But, on another matter, you guys still haven't made an official statement about those HDX token movements and transfers. I wonder why.  Roll Eyes

But there was a transaction happening yesterday for 100.000 HDX token based on their smart contract: https://etherscan.io/token/0x0a3d6e21b5a5ad5661f8db593e6da95b71e959d2
Does that mean they are running a private sale right now instead of IEO or public sale?
There are so many admins on the Telegram channel, and their answers are varied. Someone says there will be no IEO but someone says there will.

I was about to ask this as well.
It's not just 100K HDX Tokens, 24 days ago, 6,661,225 HDX Tokens was also moved unto a different wallet.
None of these numbers were mentioned on the token distribution. Maybe the 100k was for the bounty campaign? Who knows.
The team should clarify if for which purposes these tokens are transferred and if they've been running a private sale already.
Their own followers can't really rely on answers from the main telegram group since as Javi said, their telegram admin's answers vary.
The team should make an official statement about all this.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for cooperation with translators into English from around the world on: November 15, 2019, 12:45:40 AM
"There will be no problems with the exchange of our stable tokens"

Alone this sentence above shows that this project is not legitim; just avoid these kind of scams;  I already worked with some legit blockchain projects and all were paying with bitcoin + ethereum and if you show better performance they gift you extra with their tokens.
If you call someone a scammer and do not show any evidence of fraud, it means that you are a liar and a slanderer.

That's just a user's opinion on these types of deals, and you can't blame them for speculating such things towards your project.
As you can see, most of the people's sentiments here about you guys paying in your tokens in exchange for translation services isn't well received and never will be.
Only those are very desperate and looking to have an additional list of project on their portfolio would accept what you're offering; and with that, you'll only get low-quality translations (most probably google translated ones).
If you're serious about making your project succeed, I suggest you guys re-evaluate your approach and start thinking about paying either in BTCitcoin or Ethereum for the services you're looking for.
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser Crypto Rewards Program on: November 14, 2019, 06:03:29 PM
Is there any rules which stated that we can't send tip to our own account? there is no AFAIK, so that is my benchmark to say we can send tip to our own content.
Not sure. I'm quite new to this (which is why I'm asking); but, it does sound so greedy when a user does that.

And I think it is mandatory to have a content on youtobe channel or blog in order to get add income from other people
You don't get my previous question.
I asked if having a publisher account mandatory or required to be able to earn through ads.
I just tried using the brave browser without having any content on my youtube channel, I also made a publisher account and linked my social media channels (Twitter/Reddit which aren't promoting my referral links as well) and the result is that I am able to earn a few BAT tokens just by clicking pop-up ads in the browser itself.

There's no need to make content and upload it on youtube if you're satisfied with just earning through the ads. It is not mandatory.
But of course, if someone as greedy as you would want to earn more, then they can do so, even tip their own content just as you suggested.

Here we go again with these bland announcement threads.
Is this the website? https://litecoindiamond.info/
You forgot to list it so I had to google it just to be able to check it out.
No team info, no proper use case of the token, just bragging about the features of the token which we all know are only possible because it's built within the Ethereum network.
It makes me wonder why these types of projects are still around poping out of nowhere when it is clear they are not fooling anybody anymore.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: November 14, 2019, 12:38:02 PM
the information on the official website of social media there is no update since 7 October
I think the very reason there's no update on their social media channels is the lack of social media manager itself. Not sure if the team is currently looking for one though.
If you want to get updated, I suggest you visit their main telegram group instead, here: https://t.me/curiocarQA

whether there has been news about the addition of other markets[/b]
If you've read several posts above you, you'll see several discussions about possible listing on other exchanges.
But then again, there's no official announcement about it either. Maybe the team will release one soon.

1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser Crypto Rewards Program on: November 14, 2019, 05:00:43 AM
But one thing that should be pay attention, you must have a content such as on youtube channel or your blog to accept BAT from other people (but you can also send the reward to your content)

Which is mean, from the utilization of brave browser per months you will get $5 (depend on your region) but it is not automatically you can send them you your uphold wallet, but you need to send them first to your content and  if you have sent you will see the token on your uphold wallet. And I guess that applies too even if you choose ads to earn the token.

Wait, what? Now I'm confused. So, it's mandatory to have a youtube channel or a blog, then create an article or a video and then send the BAT Tokens it to myself?
Isn't tipping BAT Tokens suppose to be sent to "other" content creators, and not your on your own?

I didn't made an withdrawal yet because of the low amount of BAT in my wallet but since Brave asked to backup the wallet this means you can withdrawal your coins. The trick is that you will need to verify your account with Uphold before making a withdrawal, meaning you'll need to pass their KYC (full KYC) ID verification and all the stuff.
I see. Now it makes sense. So, passing the KYC process on Uphold lets you be able to withdraw the accumulated BAT Tokens right? Thanks for clarifying.
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 13, 2019, 06:03:25 PM
Try trading. More profitable than all other business, you don't suffer any bounty manager's affectation, or look for a friend to suggest a referal code. You need to do is collect information thoroughly and apply them on charts. There is no delay in payment or anything else.
Unless of course the exchange your trading with suddenly disappears, then you're screwed.  Grin

Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?
As for OP question, one way to earn/generate crypto is just simply by viewing ads. Brave browser offers BAT tokens in exchange for viewing ads within their browser. Content creators and publishers also get a chance to earn BAT tokens by sharing their referral links on their social media channels.
See their website here: https://brave.com/
You can also offer various services, not only in gaming but also in the technical field such as helping startups build their platform, designing websites; even social media management is a thing in crypto-world now. Some startup companies offer payments in cryptocurrencies rather than the traditional fiat.

The official New Capital website is https://win.win/

The details of the team are laid well out in there.
I didn't deem necessary to add the details of the team in this is ANN, related solely to the Exchange, because there are other threads about New Capital depicting the team and their other projects in detail.
Thanks for the response, this clears it out now.

This was the first time I've heard of New Capital and the exchange looks decent, nothing special about
Note: The ultimate goal of New Capital is to build a true DEX based on NEM catapult.

The trading platform that you see right now is temporary. It's a temp and common centralized exchange.
The CEX has been created by the team as an answer to an exit scam of the exchange where the base coin TWINS was listed, called Bitsane.
It worked pretty well for about 6 months before Bitsane's dev suddenly quit.
The CEX is in place so that members (everyone is welcome) can trade in a safe manner, without bots harassment.

Yep. I remember Bitsane, the exchange that literally turned insane. I remember that it was even one of the approved exchanges of ripple.
That's unfortunate that you guys got caught up with their exit scam.
So, if this current CEX is just temporary, when will it be changed to DEX?

1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser Crypto Rewards Program on: November 12, 2019, 06:33:05 PM
I've read some discussion about this browser on our local board a while ago. I even downloaded it and used it a couple of times, but haven't really gone through the process of creating accounts on Uphold and Publisher yet. I'm kinda hesitant with their mandatory KYC process. Is that really necessary to be able to earn BAT tokens? or can I maybe just skip that part? If I understand correctly Publisher accounts are only needed for content creators right? So, if I just want to earn through the ads, I don't have to register an account on that platform?

I'm not sure about the binary tree can you explain please?
Can I manage the tree by myself? I mean is it possible to choose where my referals are going?

Our referral program is finaly life! Check it out and start building your binary tree right now!

I think you mean, live. Just a little typo there.  Grin

Binary system. If I recall correctly, this type of affiliate structure is somewhat kinda like MLM, right?
Isn't this the type of marketing strategy that is also branded as a pyramid scheme?
BTW why is there a "Limited" tag on Trading fees cashback? Does that mean, it'll only be available a few months after the exchange officially started?
Also, I'm not sure if somebody has already asked this but, is passing the KYC mandatory on this exchange?
Sorry for the multiple questions, just wanted to clear things out. I'd be glad if you could answer these appropriately. Thanks.  Cheesy

This was the first time I've heard of New Capital and the exchange looks decent, nothing special about.
What bugs me is that you guys are requiring the projects wanting to get listed to be fully transparent, they must have public info about their team (which is great), but ironically, I can't find any details about your own team, the people behind New Capital. I've searched your website and found nothing about it. (Maybe I've missed it?)
Could you enlighten us with these needed details? 'Cause if you want people here to start using your exchange, you need to be transparent as well.
If possible, lay out all the details on the ann thread so people won't have to search for it although out the web.

The selection criteria are as follows:
- Project must be POS/Masternodes (environment friendly)
- Team behind the project must be public, known faces and profiles.
