Personally, I think there should be a easy-quick sync option. Specially tk save mobile data (for those who are not near wifi) There is: it's called "API" instead of "From Blockchain". I think that's the default, so I'm not sure which one you're using. I imagine "API" is like Electrum, while "From Blockchain" is more like Bitcoin Wallet. Yes, it is default. I used API and Tor off. It was very slow to complete the first sync. Now it is fast to sync when I open the wallet

Talvez as outras criptomoedas.

So I happened to find a seed phrase for an old wallet used to receive the five free coins from the faucet in 2010. Unfortunately I have no clue about which wallet it is. The seed phrase is only 8 words of 7 characters, and is not BIP39. After whole lot of googling I encountered this wordlist, and all the words appear there http://rabbit.eng.miami.edu/dics/amerlen/length07.txt Several of the words are not even proper english words, but do appear on that list and nowhere else relevant. The wordlist has 108824 words, and the words in phrase seem to be spread over the whole range. Will pay 10% for tip leading to access. 2010? I'm afraid that whenever wallet you were using at the time, has already shutdown.
Something is wrong here. There were no deterministic wallets in 2010. as far as i know, you only had a bunch of private keys back in 2010. There wasn`t even electrum yet.

We know that bitcoin is not a coin, we just named it as a coin. instead bitcoin is a digital public ledger which is not edited or manipulated by anyone. so why it has a smallest unit of 1 satoshi, why not less than 1 satoshi like this "0.0000000000001 BTC"? if it's a ledger then why it has a limit? we can write anything we want in a paper ledger then why in bitcoin's case it's different?
I have created this tools which allows you to visualize all bitcoin unit formats and interact with them You can already see milisatoshi unit in lightning network ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.talkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F09%2F11%2F6a7og.png&t=663&c=IjULxEIkCaa_Bw) https://bitcoindata.science/bitcoin-units-converter.html

Do you have thousands of transactions by any chance? and are you using ZEC (I know they have an issue with it syncing)? Otherwise, I know the syncing is a bit slow (maybe a minute or two compared to other wallets) and I have experienced it before, but 10 minutes and you're still at 18%?! That's way too much.
No thousands, but a few dozens (less than a hundred) Old wallet from 2017, all bitcoin address formats (before bch fork). So I have 4 bitcoin wallets and all of them are syncing independently (legacy , segwit, native segwit and taproot). I also have ethereum from the same time. Wallet didn't sync yet (I minimized it, and it didn't work in background). I will keep it open for a while... less than 30%.. Maybe it will be slow just the first time. Personally, I think there should be a easy-quick sync option. Specially tk save mobile data (for those who are not near wifi)

syncing the wallet takes a lot longer and consumes quite a bit of data. To emphasize this: if you're going to use Unstoppable Wallet, this is really something to keep in mind. It's on track now to consume more than 10 GB/month in bandwidth, and that's with only 4 coins in the wallet! I'm wondering now: does it download and check full Bitcoin blocks? It kinda makes sense for privacy, but I didn't realize it would be that much. If I'd use mobile data only, this alone would burn through my bundle. I just downloaded Unstoppable and imported my coinomi seed. It is Taking too long to sync (more than 10minutes and still 18%). I am not using Tor. The wallet also has a heavy UI, too many useless tais like markets, news... I found how to hide some in the options. Overall good wallet, but I think it could more simple and straightforward, like electrum

I need a good multicurrency wallet, and a good bitcoin wallet in the same app.
coinomi supported all the best altcoins, and it was an amazing bitcoin wallet. It supported coin control, sign messages, all address formats and so on.
Coinomi haven't gotten update in a while but all it's features still works well, it hasn't been abandoned. Stick with it, until it stops working altogether. The problem is that it won't receive updates on new vulnerabilities that might be found. There is a risk using outdated software, which is not worth

Good morning,
I have a problem with my wallet with addresses not wanting to display the real amount...
Is the address balance you see in your wallet the same value you see in a block explorer? Such mempool.space

It's so unfortunate that arbitrage trading is now gaining more relevance in the crypto industry, to the extent that people have started including it as a way to earn in the industry, which is supposed not to be so.
I completely agree here because it's quite sad to see arbitrage trading being pushed on so many occasions. Mostly due to (YouTube) traders itself making money from "recommending" their "good" trading strateies (we should ask if these strategies are really that profitable, why are the YouTubers not trading themselves but advertising their strategies instead) but not limited to (YouTube) traders but also many trading sites because high frequency trading is a good revenue source for trading sites. Arbitrage trading is often advertised as low-risk trading but when considering fees, uncertainties etc., arbitrage trading is really very risky. Being careful and staying away from arbitrage trading is definitely a good idea. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I agree that arbitrage trading is somehow risky, but I think it is kind of important for the ecosystem. So the price of different exchanges are nearly the same. When I discovered bitcoin, in 2017, BTC price was about 15% higher in Brazil. If a Brazilian had a bank account which any other exchange in Europe/USA could accept, it was possible to buy BTC cheaper and sell it with 15% more in Brazil. However, all costs were high and in the end I was able to get about 5-8% only (at most) I did it a few times. It was not illegal, AFAIK. Nowadays the price is exactly the same, but I believe those people buying bitcoin in USA/Europe and selling them in Brazil where important, to increase the volume of BTC in local exchanges.

I think you should reconsider including Proton mail (and its Alias pm.me, Proton.me, etc) as risk emails.
Those emails are used a lot by bitcoin users, as they have increased privacy.
I wasn't able to create an account yet.
Could you kindly check once more? If the issue persists, you might want to try using proton.me. Little Mouse from Bitcointalk has already verified its functionality and successfully created an account using that service. It just worked now with Proton.me Thank you!!

And so on. If 10% of the 1 million plus people that downloaded coinomi put in $1 they would have generated $100000 for development & upkeep. Not a lot but enough to possibly keep it going better then it has.
Coinomi had some revenue. They used to have integrated swaps such as Changelly and other third party services. They probably received some money from they. Some coins payed to be listed, and so on. Personally I have a dozen little things that I would like to work on. But since they do consume time and generate $0 money they are the last thing on the list to get done so they never get done. If I could even envision a way to generate a little money I could justify pulling some $ out of pocket to pay someone in the hopes that it might make money. But since I KNOW the potential profit is $0 they are free time things....
Sometimes doing for free to learn is very good as well. But those $0 projects might even surprise you. I recently got a sponsor in my domain. It is a small money, but certainly I now have a great incentive to continue development
