1881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 16, 2015, 12:37:00 AM
I bilieve i will earn 1 BTC in a year by using my account.
My rank will grow and i will joiin signature campaigns.
and im sure it''s less than 1 year you have collected 1 BTC

Not really a sig campaign pays 0.04/week , multiplied by  52 = 2.08 BTC

But you need Full Member or above
8.5 months to become sr member and participate in sig with a great rate and payment

Surely you people would be better off getting a job in a supermarket than wasting your time on here with signature campaigns?

Then buying btc with your wages if you wanted to.

1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2015, 12:24:16 AM
The only, truly safe, "investment" is signature campaigns.  I guess you are technically working for them.  Huh  Other than that other options are providing escrow or investing in projects you believe in.  There is also day trading, cloud mining, and investing in an online casino.  The possibilities are sorta listed in order of what I feel are safeish.

Signature Campaign in a true sense is not an investment It is just you are posting a comment and you are get paid for it and the payouts are not that high so you cannot say signature campaign as an investment option.

I agree, signature campaigns are not an investment, more earn peanuts as you post to make the company running the campaign money.

1889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is/was the No.1 Scammer on Bitcointalk? on: June 15, 2015, 11:51:51 PM
Woodcollector is the most recent one and got a lot of hate for what he did, his idea was pretty unique too, he made cheap wood carvings and claimed they were hand calved so he could con people out of a lot of money for it.

Yeah I cant quite work that one out? Blazedout and others paid a lot of money for carvings apparently and he's no fool so not sure exactly what happened there. Perhaps he was in on the treasure hunt again not sure what happened to that either.

I spend quite a lot of time on here but obviously not enough...

1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 15, 2015, 11:26:38 PM
the best 'investment' is to put your coins in physical cold storage and wait for them to go up ..

You were typing that same time as me lol, +1 what you say Smiley.
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 15, 2015, 11:25:36 PM
Depends what you mean by investment options.

I'd say that physical loaded coins are at this moment in time Casascius or Lealana are the most well known although there are other makes available. At least you know they cant be lost if an exchange gets hacked or goes bust and you can just tuck them away somewhere for a rainy day hopefully for in a few years time when they're worth considerably more than they are now.

And with the most loaded coins, because there were only so many made they will only go up in value over time as some are redeemed.

1895  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB - Casascius loaded coins on: June 15, 2015, 04:28:58 PM
Have purchased more coins than I planned on...

Would still be interested in either a 5, 10, or 25 btc coin (or combination of these).  Please PM me if you're looking to sell any of these.

Thanks all!

Found an old hard drive by any chance? Cheesy.
1896  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Choosing a PSU on: June 15, 2015, 04:13:07 PM
Hi, take a look at Dogies PSU guide with specs: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486121.0

I mentioned the Corsair modular PSU's which I have used to power S1's & S3's and they worked fine. I haven't had an S5 though.

I think you'd probably need the RM1000 from Corsair to power an S5 adequately and safely because they require 4 x pci-e connectors ( 2 for each board ).

Alternatively look at the other brands or server PSU's that people have mentioned.
1897  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitcoin Shop acquiring used Spondoolies on: June 14, 2015, 02:01:57 AM
Most of you are aware about our plans to merge with Spondoolies, in addition we are currently acquiring used Spondoolies machines specifically larger farms 50TH and up. If you have larger farms of Spondoolies, let us know we'd love to make you an offer.

Its not April 1st Grin

I still dont know why brand new registered accounts are allowed to post in the marketpace sections as 99% of them are scams...
1898  Economy / Goods / Re: 2 iPhone 6's up for grabs on: June 14, 2015, 12:35:41 AM
Just for any Google searches a potential victim does for www.thebtcescrow.com -

www.thebtcescrow.com The BTC Escrow Review - SCAM Site, False Escrow, Avoid. Website only registered 1 day ago and claims to have completed 10,000+ escrow transactions and have 57 employees at a surely false address listed to be in London.

Also- there is not even any way of setting up escrow for a legitimate transaction on there...
I clicked "Create Escrow" after typing '1' into the "Bitcoin Amount" field and it gives you a Bitcoin address to deposit to and a 'tracking number', and says to notify them once you have received your item. There are no fields to enter details about the transaction, no payment address for the seller's Bitcoin to be transferred to after the buyer receives the item, etc.

Nice one I agree, also for google searches: thebtcescrow.com site is a scam do not use it.
