1881  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: July 23, 2023, 07:10:14 AM
Your lifestyles is totally dependent on your spending habits ans it is not necessary that Rich spends more and poor spends less , some rich people are very cautious spenders rather than that they try to invest their money in some profitable project .
Sometimes poor and average income groups are more carers spenders they waste money on so called fun and drinking which results in loosing everything they had .

I agree, it's honestly more on the mindset. I know a lot of rich people who would rather focus on investing and keeping their money flowing, while there are those average to below average (poor) financial status people who are spending too much that their loans are piling up. Lifestyle is up to the mindset and attitude of an individual.
1882  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore this Classic Business Law or Follow Your Instincts? on: July 23, 2023, 06:33:36 AM
In doing a business of course, we must know how to do the business, even though we already know that doing business in that case will definitely be profitable but we don't know how so never to join first, then first look for seniors and ask how to invest in the business if we already understand then we spend capital to invest, Because not all investments will always be profitable and some can also get losses if we don't know how to do something needed, so if I listen more to the thoughts of others who are experienced and rarely follow instincts.

It is true that taking advice from those with relative experience will surely help in establishing a business and ensuring that it will do good and profitable. However, I also believe that there are instances that we can use our instincts. Sometimes there are situations that requires for us to read the situation and follow what we feel. For example, it taking advice, it is better if we at least touch on our instinct if we can trust the person that is giving an advice to us or not since following something with a negative feeling will surely result to an unsatisfying feeling.
1883  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: July 23, 2023, 05:49:42 AM
Owing a housing property is what I will go for than staying in a rented apartment. Am choosing housing property over a rented apartment because when old age comes and am no longer working, I will have a place to call home in all that.

It is better to take up loans from banks to have a housing property of my own. Let it be that my salary is been deducted in percentage for bank loans for years than staying in a rented apartment that will not end up being mine in old age. That doesn't make sense to me.

At the end of the day it's what really matters -- to have a house that we can call our own and to ensure that we have a place to stay when we get too old to work. Moreover, renting a place will be a problem once you stop working and the income of money is not as steady as it used to be as it will be more of problem as to where you will be getting the money to pay for rent. Hence, for the long term benefit I'll surely go for owning my own property despite how long it will take me to pay for it, at least in the end it will be mine.
1884  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 23, 2023, 04:57:04 AM
I take loans in the hopes of building a good credit score and account standing on some banks. In this way, if I ever decide to start another business, I won't have to break an arm and leg in order to take out some loans to finance my business. It's also very helpful to have a good credit score since you will gain access to some perks that your bank offers and not everyone gets. Bottomline is, take some loans that you need, pay regularly and never miss a payment. Being responsible is just the key to not get problems related to loans.

I think that's the positive side of taking loans, it's developing a good loan credit in case we need to make big transactions to a bank. Moreover, there really isn't that big of a negative consequence in loaning unless you decide to be irresponsible and not do your payments. It's a transaction and therefore both parties are accountable to each of their parts in order to ensure that a good relationship (between the lender and borrower) stays.
1885  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: July 23, 2023, 03:54:40 AM
We should know that things are becoming hard this days and we need to know how to do things and make our business works so that we are not going to end up making the biggest mistake of not getting what we really wants. We need to get something doing or a very good job so that we can earn very and take care of our bills so it won't going to affect to us.

Unfortunately, as much as I agree with you, it's not as easy as it sounds. Getting a job these days is getting harder even to those who have good work experience and educational background. Moreover, if we don't learn how to handle our money and assets properly then having a good job wouldn't be much as it will only be enough to pay for our bills and foods. The problem with that is we wouldn't be able to save for future needs, like emergency funds.
1886  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Twitter Stock Experience the same Rise? on: July 23, 2023, 03:18:42 AM
Elon is running Twitter into the ground. He is not capable of properly managing a social media platform. People who are politically aligned with Musk benefit from getting higher visibility on their tweets. Also a ton of spam, scam and troll accounts are getting boosted merely by purchasing a blue checkmark. People don't want to join a site that is biased and elevating junk content. Musk chased away advertisers and admitted that Twitter is losing money. I don't really see how they will be able to make their product more valuable.

Exactly. The way Twitter is now, it wouldn't be long before it dies. Even today most celebrities, public figures and businesses are using Instagram to connect to their target audience. Twitter, which used to be a big thing for fandoms and communities, has truly lost its appeal, specially when Musk decided to make such obnoxious changes that only benefited him and not the users.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: July 23, 2023, 02:51:48 AM
But 3 accounts with VIP I think I would not know what to play, how to play, and what I would have to do every day, I think those days would be really fun, some players who have it must be used to being at that level.
It's hard to do and control yourself with so many VIP accounts for gambling.

It's not my experience but in the past, I and my friend knew one man who is a middle man between sports bookmakers and retail gamblers. He bet too but his advice is he never bets more than three matches each day. Win or lose, he quit and enjoy rest of his life in that day. Next day, he can enjoy other bets and of course no more than three matches.

He told us that it's hard to control yourself if you are in a win streak or a lose streak, so to avoid it he sets a max number of bet each day. He is very disciplined with his rules and does not break them.

It lies on the discipline of the gambler. Having 3 different VIP accounts doesn't mean anything if you don't have money anyway. And if you don't have that much money to begin with, I don't think you'll ever reach the point of having a hard time choosing which casino works best for you. You'll be locked in on just playing and nothing else.

Most gamblers would surely take it slow and not spend that much if they can avoid it.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think selling your property is better than taking loan? on: July 23, 2023, 02:27:01 AM
Well, I think the title of your thread is a bit ambiguous here, when I first read it before I read the main post, I thought what OP mean by property is like Housing Property, but it turns out to be some stuff properties.

I think it depends on the situation and stuff that would be sold, some people are actually in a lot of debt, that their last resort is selling their stuff. But again I think selling stuff, and moreover something that is still used regularly is only last resort, I would prefer loan some money.

I also got confused by OP's question, I initially thought they were referring to land properties which are usually sold for financial purposes. However, when I realized that they were referring to items, it was easy to answer that it would be taking loans for me. Selling secondhand items are hard and can be so cheap right now so it wouldn't really be that worth it.
1889  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 23, 2023, 01:38:38 AM
Most of people who are successful in life and holds good networth have followed their passion. Now we follow them and gets inspired, but we don't have the courage to follow our passion. For many people it is the family situation that never lets them to follow their passion, because they need to earn and uplift the family. Following the passion will make you high, but it needs time. Some have all the facilities, but they have the fear in their mind. To come out of it is not an easy thing.

Whether you follow your passion or make yourself to have an on the go choice there must be proper identification. You need to find yourself good in something. When we weren't able to identify it following passion or on the go doesn't lead to success.

Unfortunately this is the sad truth. Despite knowing that there is a chance to earn money by following our passion, most of us tend to still not do it because of our responsibilities (specially to our families). We need to earn money as quick as possible in order to cater to our family's immediate needs. Hence, despite wanting to venture to the possibilities of what our passion may lead us to, we settle for what can bring us quick financial aid.
1890  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 22, 2023, 07:18:19 PM
[...]
If Betnomi pays me my money, I will gladly give you $150 (although my records show that you were not credited $50).

Quote

Btw ... today Sorsis told me that he will answer in the thread soon (I asked him about when the platform will work).

This is a very good news for me. From my experience, I can only say good things about Betnomi, and I can't even imagine an "exit scam" like some people in this thread suggesting. I believe they are honest people and they value their reputation. They may have some difficulties at the moment, but no way it's intentional. I wish Betnomi to overcome all their troubles and be back online and well soon.

You can't blame the people here if they think Betnomi did an exit scam. It all starts with withdrawals not pushing through, the support staff not replying, and literally a non-functional website. Also, no announcements prior to all these were made, hence people jumping to speculation about what could have happened. The patterns can also be seen on other exit scams from gambling platforms in the past, and that's where people are basing their initial judgment.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gain more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2023, 05:43:50 PM
In school, we have economics subject so investments are being tackled there sometimes but I don't think gambling are being taught in school as gambling have gained a bad reputation due to what it can cause to a person if they are a little weak mentally and emotionally. Investing is not hard but it's kind a boring so people usually go for gambling. Gambling is still a separate activity so both should not be compared to each other.
Gambling is still taboo for many country, so the school tend to not teach about gambling. Most of the time, they only forbid to not gamble and explain the points why we shouldn't gamble. Although their explanations are correct, but they forget if there young children are full of curiosity. The best way to teach someone is explain the advantage and disadvantage, give them a choice to choose, but don't forget to say about the worst case in gambling.

Giving the youth the freedom to choose really is the way to go. The more you keep them uninformed into something, the more they go out their own way to seek the answers themselves. Same case with gambling and other activities that ends up being addictive to most people. Let them know what gambling is, how it's bad and how it's good, and they themselves will distance from it or come closer and in time, realize the results of their choice.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $1,080 Billion powerball lotto winner in the USA on: July 22, 2023, 04:38:32 PM
Seriously wrong line of thinking at the very start let alone anything else, I can't believe that people even start thinking about that this would be something alright. I have hard time managing money I will just pass along, let alone use someone else's money. Due to my old job 10 years ago, I would have to carry thousands and thousands of dollars from one place to another, not really a big road, just like 500 meters, that's it.

I would still have cold sweats when I faced that and it's really not a good thing to my heart, I would stress so much, finally quit it and living a much relax life right now, health issues still happens but at least no stress. Now you can understand why I would find this type of thing too risky and wouldn't do it.

Yours is a different scenario, though. You are handling someone else's money on their behalf, whereas those winners handle their own. They think that their money wouldn't run out, while in reality it drains much faster because they are focusing much on their wants and not really their needs. They tend to splurge and buy everything that they think they need and not get the assistance of a financial adviser. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to handle that much money too, and would rather have it kept in the bank and just get me something that I need. Or in a lottery win, just get it in installments and live comfortably and humbly.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 22, 2023, 03:48:18 PM
Actually the solution to anticipating something that is not wanted in gambling is very simple, one only needs to see gambling as entertainment, don't think too much about betting in it but think that this is an act that only produces entertainment and doesn't think too much about the stake.
it will relate to the original intention of the gambler when playing at the casino. if you know for the first time that gambling is a game for fun, it will be good for self-control. but if we know gambling at the beginning as a game we can win. then his ambition is to seek victory. and that is hard to control when a gambler starts to get addicted.

Not everyone seeking wins or victories will get hooked to it. Even if it means that they are going to get something out of it, if you're not entirely dedicated to it, you'll brush it off like it's nothing. Most of those who are obsessed with winning and become addicts are those who doesn't have much and wants to get easy money. Even then, only a few gets addicted big time, a select few that really destroys their lives.

In the end, it's the person, not the game.
They need to plan it very well dahil lumalawak na ang sakop ng crypto.

Totoo and isa pa since lumalaki na nga ang crypto siguradong gagawa sila ng way para yung taxes (which kailangan din naman talaga para sa economy ng Pilipinas) ay applicable na sa crypto system. Pero tama ka rin na matatagalan pa yan lalo na ngayon na di pa naman ganun ka establish ang technology ng Pilipinas para matrace ang bawat transactions, ang dami ngang illegal trades na nangyayare online na hirap na hirap ang mga officials hanapin at ayusin, it will really take a lot of time.
1895  Local / Pilipinas / Re: T-Shirt Business For Bitcoin Adoption Profitable Ba on: July 22, 2023, 10:49:47 AM
1896  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: July 22, 2023, 10:20:32 AM
When talking of financial stability is something that can never be satisfied and quantified as a being we are we always strive to increase in our financial status regardless of how much we have made and how much keeps flowing and yet still carving for a better tomorrow. That is why today the richest man in Africa today never get satisfied with what he had rather keeps creating more opportunities to increase in his finance, at this we never say they are okay with they earned or what they got from their companies.

It is true that for some people, no matter how much they have in their possession, they continue striving for more and more. However, I believe, this trait is also  natural aspect  of some people who are never satisfied with their current achievement, this drive for expansion and growth is also seen in many successful entrepreneurs

In my opinion attaining the purpose of life is beyond materialistic success, enjoying family life by spending quality time, travelling all around the world and contributing for the welfare of society are equally important for a meaningful life.

The thing about this however is that to achieve all of these, we need to have the financial capacity to do so. Right now, in order to even do most of the things that will ensure enjoyment and quality time with family we need to spend some of our money (no matter how small that is, we know it will make a change in our pockets). Moreover, let's all be real here, enjoying life is hard without financial stability as most of what we do and need to enjoy life relies on how much we have in our pockets and savings account.
1897  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 22, 2023, 09:34:31 AM
As for me, from my experience, I can't deny that it is difficult to manage a business, because you will really spend time, physical effort, and when it comes to capital, even if the investment is small, if you know how to circulate money in the business, you will definitely be able to grow it. .

And the most difficult thing is that establishing a customer page is actually not easy, and once you can establish the customer and maintain the quality service and quality of the goods of the business, for sure the regular customers will come to your business first.

If your product does not find a niche, it will be difficult for it to prosper. The customer is the reason for the business. Having them is one thing, sustaining and satisfying them is another.
Every business owner should have a good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). It will make a huge difference in your business.

OP, I opened the link you attached and discovered that you didn't do much work than lift and rearrange an already written article.

I noticed that as well, OP should've just shared the written article.

But, yes you're right. The customers will be the biggest foundation of an business. No matter how good the product or service is if the customer feedback is negative due to other factors like attitude of the staff, the cleaniliness of the establishment and so on.
1898  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: July 22, 2023, 08:35:38 AM
I was reading about this in many news websites, I was actually thinking that its exeggerated/fake news but it even hits bitcointalk, I guess its true now? I think this can deeply effect future of financial markets because BRICS countries are very very populated and their economies are very big. Their specific currency could become world's third important currency in future maybe passing Pound. But I don't think it will cause massive dedollarization soon. Financial relations are all executed through American Dollars for decades.

It will absolutely take a long time for that to happen. The system will have to adjust for it as it will be a long process and change. However, it will mostly not affect the bitcoin system as widely as others may say, after all this change is mostly a political talk and will focus on that for awhile.
1899  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think selling your property is better than taking loan? on: July 22, 2023, 07:58:05 AM
It depends on what kind of specific property you are referring to. Moreover, it depends on how badly you need the money. If it's just a small amount then I'll most likely go for loans since properties such as lands can go higher as time passes. However, if you really need a big sum of money then go for selling property.
1900  Economy / Economics / Re: The whales stirred. What should we expect? on: July 22, 2023, 07:12:19 AM
The whales stirred. What should we expect?

Judging by the information coming in, a lot of ancient "crypto whale" wallets that have not created any movement with Bitcoin, for many years, have recently "come to life". Recently, assets have started to be transferred from these wallets to the exchanges. The withdrawal to the exchanges, kind of hints that these amounts are being withdrawn to sell Bitcoin. Question to the esteemed public ! What is this ?
- the end of the short era of cryptocurrencies ? Owners are actively moving into fiat
- the end of the Bitcoin era ? Are they selling it to change cryptoasset for storage ? And what is this crypto asset?
- regulators have "gotten their way", cryptocurrency is losing support and interest ?
- your version ?

No, I don't think it will end the bitcoin era and cryptocurrencies era but rather shift the money towards asset class like stocks, pressure metals and real estate. If you're here long enough you'll notice that this kind of stuff happens regularly so it shouldn't be much of a concern.
