Not a vital issue, but on this wallet: 1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP

I am seeing my machine "i7-920" with a dead ended connection.... It hasn't been on since Tuesday....  I know you've seen this issue before just giving a heads up since it didn't go away after a few days.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 850+ BTC on: September 07, 2016, 10:53:30 PM
BTW, i been keeping track of my payouts on the SHA256 pool for a few days and its right on the money..
mining bitcoin id be making 0.007404 and here i am making 0.01198145 a day.. not too bad..

so im guessing whatever coin we were mining that wasnt paying us, got purged when you took the dead coins out of the pool few days ago.

Good to hear.

When I get back from Arizona in a week, I'll dust off an S7 and test it out again to see how stable it is now as well.

My miners can not connect to your pool since hours.
They use the correct ports and no changes were made.
What is up?
Pity, I have to use another pool unitil you have fixed the problem...

Read main site:

Pool is ignoring my diff settings again, at least in libry and lira2v2. All was working perfectly till yesterday evening (GMT). Any change has been done in the pool??? I don't know if could be related with my scrypt, but it worked perfectly till yerterday...

JK's nVidia zPool Miner Batch V1.06
Berron modified
,x13=13.8
,qubit=25.4
,quark=31.7
,blakecoin=5.80
,x15=12.0
,x14=13.7
,sib=4.47

Feel free to copy it if you want, credits for JK, I have only adapted a bit to my computer to avoid some minor problems. Values are from a Gigabyte GTX960 with no overclocking.
Interesting =)  Glad it seems to have a good effect.

I am curious as to what you are using ccminer.conf to contain?

Presently I am having no issues with manual diff settings.  If its a diff the stratum will not accept (fraction, etc): It defaults to var/auto diff.  LBRY seemed to connect and mine fine, and I have had a solid connection to X11evo with appropriate hashrates.

Did you by chance happen to normalize ALL of the values? (including the ones I left commented)  If so ill make a post/link on my batch post.

Also I suggest looking at V0.1.0 through the link in my sig.  Closer to what you are doing, and the new format if interested =)

My comment on the whole "incorrect estimates" part: (gloves coming off)

I don't see anyone blaming Crackfoo for the problem, But I am blaming him for not taking the issue seriously.
I've seen absolutely no interest from him to either investigate it or fix it. I even offered to help but no response.

Users deserve an explanation. Are estimates incorrect or is someone skimming? The fact that the deficit is so consistent
around 20% is also suspicious of a systemic problem. It is likely not a coincidence it's an order of magnitude bigger than the
fee. Are we paying 20% fees due to a misplaced decimal point?

But that's the thing.  He has stated he knows nothing about it as per the reply above me.... and asks for help in identifying the issue from someone whom understands the code....  He has made this statement many many times.  Its pretty concise and clear.

How else would YOU handle it if it were you in his shoes? (why not help and take those steps then?)

Do you think a 20% surplus in wallets from a decimal point error would go unnoticed by him and thus point towards the perceived problem?

You are assuming things and jumping to conclusions based on non-static information and estimates...... all on a codebase that is new and relatively unused.

The only values you can hold him to are the "Balance" amount.  not "total balance", not the graphs, not the estimates....

*edit*   And by no means is this a personal attack on anyone.... I am just trying to clarify that what steps can be taken have;  and people with the knowledge are needed to help trace down whats happening.... because crackfoo isn't at fault and has gone above and beyond what most others have IMHO.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 830+ BTC on: September 04, 2016, 01:50:05 AM
My comment on the whole "incorrect estimates" part: (gloves coming off)

The day I started noticing the odd payout changed when exchanges happened were when the pool was updated to less payments/day, when reject % was finally displayed and graphed (I never did for the first half+ of a year), and I believe a pool code update but I really can't be sure if it was mentioned at that time or not.   It was literally a one week span that I noticed a handful of things sticking out all at once..

In either case:

1)  Profitability was equal or greater to before it was seen/noticed
2)  Everything being complained about is a "calculate-to-display" type issue from all information that I gather

You guys need to stop blaming the pool operator for SOMEONE ELSE'S code that he is running.   If its a problem with the wallets, negligence or server hardware issues, that's one thing....   But this is now getting absurd.

You guys need to stop comparing this pool to others because zPool is the ONLY real pool running this pool code from what I gather.  Just because the web-frontend may look the same or similar to others;  doesn't mean the pool code "backend" is the same.

If you are going to non-constructively complain about things like this constantly;  you need to get your butt away from here and feed it to someone who may want to deal with it.    I myself have poured through some of the source code... and understand why you would be naive enough to dismiss the comment to review the code yourself to try and help fix the problem.....   but simply ignoring the PROPER ROUTE TO FIXING THE PROBLEM is not going to get you special attention and going to piss some people like myself off whom have to read this bickering constantly when the answer has been plainly provided many times.

If crackfoo had written the pool code (yaamp)... you could actually hold him to the standard of fixing the "20%" ghost.

I suggest on the main page in big bold letters that: "all values are estimates until added to your 'Balance' line".    This will leave no room for confusion I would think.... unless people don't read it.

I actually appreciate the graphs/etc.  Let's me have a hint to look back and see stats for the blocks mined.

I may write myself a program to take the pool's share percentage and calculate that into what algo to mine;

When I switch my miners to 100% an algo that is profitable but I get 15%+ share on a low number of miners;  I seem to get crazy wicked profit spikes.

I want an app that will take advantage of this.

Sitting on XRE for the last 24 hours has been very nice...  Seeing 10%-25%+

Decided to tether my cellphone and test the batch today.   Works like a champ.   Video card selection and all.  Makes it nice to have one instance/miner connection per device.  More consistent hashrates/shares IMHO.  I think ill start running it that way from now on.

I am thinking of finding a simple way to have the batch do this automatically....  but logistically speaking using dos commands:  it's a nightmare to do.  (dynamic check/verify/logic is hard to accomplish with DOS commands).

Some people not understanding the simple concept of estimates.... Sheesh....

I'm ok.... Thanks for the sentiment Wink. Been dealing with digestive issues the last 20 years.... Internal bleeding on the regular...   Scary and not fun, but something I have to live with for now.

I ain't dying yet Wink. Too much mining and profits to do.... Lol

Any feedback on the new version of the batch anyone?

The Lite batch is for-sure a "will work", i'm just curious about 1.07b.....

Still short of funds to turn on internet at home, so I can't test.   Being sick in bed and paying med bills isn't fun sometimes =)   At least I have my cellphone XD
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 800+ BTC on: August 28, 2016, 04:31:20 PM
I dont mine BTC, i mine specific coin, and payouts going by this coin.

10-12% total iam loosing on them way to balance, if i got share 70 coins means in my wallet must happen 70 coins not a fucking 62

Again, nothing was said about what _algo_ you are mining and what _coin_ you get paid out in.

What you are seeing is exactly what I stated in my comment above this one...... With a slight amount of research you would see this too.

I suggest you do a little research on why your payouts aren't what you expected.  There are many reasons to fall short of an estimate of your earnings.

Remember, all pricing displayed is based on rates when that action took place (pending, confirmed, exchange, etc).

LBRY blocks loose ~1/4 value by the time they are sold on exchange.  And that's 0.001+btc deviance on average.  Which is normal considering the inflating amount of coin reward per block.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 800+ BTC on: August 28, 2016, 02:07:53 PM
Thats a fucking scampool lol, mined coins balance was 57.000 sat, after it went unpaid balance 42,000 satoshi.

Mega scam pool, guys go mine on Suprnova, or Multipool.Us
value when mined and value sold for on exchange are two DIFFERENT values.  Do not mistake them.
1893  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: August 27, 2016, 10:20:35 PM
So they're moving backwards, 14, 12.9, 11.8, 8.6 TH/s. Will they take PayPal for this? :-)

yeah it is why I just purchased more gpu's

LOL yeah the math is brutal.

I have cheap power at the solar array

I have expensive power in my house

so called summer rates

with 18 cent price in my house between extra ac and the summer rate hike.  I earn 850 usd in eth coin after power 500 usd in a month.

So I paid off 8 gpus maybe nine gpus since april.

Asic mined BTC is in trouble.  GPU mined ETH convert to BTC makes far more economic sense then buying an asic miner.

Bitmaintech's biggest competitor is the GPU pc.

Well Put.  I think I may be personally done with ASIC's...

Only if they are free or trade... I wont take them anymore.   My friend is lucky that I am still hosting his S7 at my house where I get free power.   After 6 mo of solo minig with no luck, its been on altcoin or nicehash mining, and has only netted ~340USD in its lifetime.   He was one of the unlucky people to buy a used one when bitmain started dropping their prices like a rock.... he paid $2100 when I could buy a brand new unit for just under $700....   Tis the only reason I still keep it online for him;  also given the fact its a 50% split from free power.

are you all really paying that good for cpuing mining argon2  according to pool picker:

Argon2
ZPOOL
0.01121198
BTC/MHs

I parked one of MY PC here to find out:)..if it does il boot up two more pc one is a 4 core and one is a 8 core , they are turned off most of the time used mostly for gaming for when i feel like running two or three accounts in wow .

My 20 core machine gets about 0.17% share.....  so... remember with your 8 core machine, you are seeing only a few kh/s.......    1/100 to 1/1000 of a Mh....

Batch V1.07b is posted.

Fail-safe batch V0.1.0 posted for those of you whom have issues with the batch starting many instances of ccminer at once.

Of course, algos I am not currently running are commented out and removed from the password string.

See the link in my signature for the new batch files.

I am interested in feedback on the new method for selecting specific GPU(s) for mining in the batch and any issues you guys may have.

I've been rather poor paying medical bills etc, and thus have let the internet lapse at my house for a few weeks and haven't had time/ability to really do a hardcore test of 1.0.7b thus the beta designation.    But quadruple checking the code, and running the batch with timed-out network connections is an 80% test.

All the new web addressing is covered and up to the new specs in both versions I posted today.

Happy saturday!   I get to fix more audio equipment (working on my 3rd mixer in two days now) and do a few shows in SF this weekend.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 800+ BTC on: August 25, 2016, 03:12:12 AM
Wow... looks like it was a bad time to let my internet lapse at home for the last week.... and its still not paid yet.

So;  For people going crazy about shares and "expected credit":  If you are mining for just a min and a block is found;  there's still X amount of shares accumulated before you even started mining for that block.  This in itself should dissuade you from switching pools unless its for long periods.
The forked coins... yeah... it happens.   Fact of life.  Happens to every pool.  Fact of life.   Not the pools fault at all.

Crackfoo:
I am finalizing a copy of my batch that implements the new web addressing....   But I made that modification at the same time as the mod for selecting individual devices per-instance of the batch; and things broke a little.   I may just have to do a quick sub-revision of my last released version just for the new URL settings....

I will also release a "fool-proof" batch for people having issues with mine (the typical loop of individual algos one at a time).

I hope to get this done within the next two days or so....  so keep your eyes peeled people.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 760+ BTC on: August 19, 2016, 12:14:50 AM
Question guys....

between X11, X13, X15, X17, Qubit and Quark

-- which one is the best and most profitable to mine if I have a dedicated miner for it?

Depending on card Id probably lean towards X17.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 760+ BTC on: August 18, 2016, 09:31:25 PM
After several blocks of LBRY....

I have found the reason for the drop when exchange happens is because the reward per block increases over time.  Its not a good holding coin... literally a mine and dump it seems.   Not sure how that's profitable, but it is for us that way.

By the time the block matures the value of those coins seems always to get adjusted by just about 25% (-1/4).   Which still isn't bad.

When pool hashrate is under 3Gh, pool luck is exponential.  I have gone ~ -0.014-18 in my trial period so far vs. mining straight lyra2....   but the days we have higher hashrates;  and get 1-3 blocks a day, it pays over 2X lyra2.

One of the curses of a high diff long confirm coin =)

Anyone else seeing close to the same results?
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 760+ BTC on: August 17, 2016, 10:14:48 PM
my s7s are still mining and finding blocks.. im sure its just a web problem.

Not a web problem for me.

Miner sits waiting for shares from an alive pool.  Never gets a chance to drop to secondary because the primary is still responding in some way.

Switched to nicehash, mining solid and fine.    Definitely something going on server side....
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 760+ BTC on: August 17, 2016, 09:38:54 PM
I ended up pointing to another pool also. Even after futzing with the minimum difficulty, I was getting pool disconnects once a minute or so.

I'll wait until it's safe to get back in the pool.

Check out the sha256 hash rate on zpool, it's ice-cold 0 now.

Same.  S7 connects but no shares/hash.   Probably a server problem that crackfoo needs to solve when hes back from vacation... he can't be maintaining the site 24/7  He does have a RL Wink
