1881  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 13, 2023, 04:17:10 AM
There's no person around the world doesn't want  to be rich but most of those successful people will say anyone could be rich it is just that we have found what type or niche that we can be rich  also one of the reasons why people dont get rich is that they are lazy and scared of taking risk and want just to stay in comfort zone. Poor people like us is really struggling day to day which we dont have any extra money to spend on investment or like putting up business but if we are jud going to hardwork and dont surrender wealth will be coming to us along the way
1882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: March 13, 2023, 02:53:40 AM
Even small exercise can boost productiveness over the day, just not the hard one. This is mostly what I've heard, and it is also good for health, but I am having a hard time getting up early as my work schedule is at night. But what I do is stretch a little bit before starting my work, which I really don't do before I start to trade as I overlap trading and my work. But I noticed that I don't get easily sleepy, and I think my mind got a boost.
1883  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 13, 2023, 01:42:55 AM
It depends on the person because on me when i have plans to get drunk and have a party or hangout with my friends i don't usually get trades (sometime checking only my open trade) because i want to have some fun because it useless for me if you are getting hangouts with your friends but always check your phone. Also i do refrain doing this because for sure i cant control my emotions over a trade. It is like dont drive if you are drunk is same with dont trade when you are drunk as it cause you a lot (losses)
1884  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 11, 2023, 02:46:22 PM
Costs will always arise for many reasons, but if we have an accurate plan then we can avoid unexpected costs, from the start we have to record all monthly, weekly and daily expenses, apart from that very strict control is of course an important thing to be able to avoid unexpected costs.

What if there was an emergency like you got sick and you need to see doctor and buy meds how would you budget that? even in strict in your budget you cant still prevent that. But if you are talking like there are new restaurant near lets eat on that then it would be bad expenses and it belong to wants. That is why it is better to have emergency funds or savings which for incase of emergency you can use it and it cant affect your budget.
1885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 11, 2023, 12:49:07 PM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.

Well, trading is very risky and plus when a kid trades it becomes more riskier but if a kid wants to "only" learn how to trade then we can give them a try and some guidance. Don't make them try to learn to trade and end up becoming an addiction because don't have the knowledge and depend on his luck. You can wait until he a little grow up because 4 years is not that long.

How it become more riskier? I mean a child just trading as they got curious about it. Also, I am not sure they got addicted to it because at first, trading is not interactive, unlike gambling, so it is more risky for them to get addicted unless they keep winning and earning money, which increases the possibility of addiction. I don't see any risk for them as long as they know what they are doing. I mean, in trading, it takes knowledge, and even at first, before you start, you need to do a lot of research.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of holding Bitcoin in time of crisis on: March 11, 2023, 09:30:14 AM
That would be a dream come true. But people often see Bitcoin as an investment tool (not a currency), so don't count on BTC becoming the global unit of account anytime soon. It will always remain an alternative to Fiat because of the way it was designed.
...

Of course it will take lot of time, and of course people still not often consider BTC as a currency. But "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". People will use bitcoin as a currency when it become a comfortable option, when its volatility will go down and when in mostly every bakery around you'll have an option of paying for a small bun and small cup of coffee with BTC fast, cheap and secure. So it is a matter of time and further technology development.

But once bitcoin becomes stable, will people continue to use it? Honestly, from what I see, 99% of people invest in bitcoin for profit, and very few people care about its technology. So if bitcoin is stable, I doubt they will continue to use it. I believe that you and I, and everyone in the market today are interested in the bitcoin price every day.

That is also a big question that difficult to answer even myself i was into bitcoin because its value and the profit from it . if the price stabilize for sure those people who stayed used it for their daily needs like sending and receiving transactions as they dont care whats the price on it though it doesn't mean that only 1% will stay there are still couple of people using it with its main purpose.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 11, 2023, 08:30:11 AM
Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
If you get redirected to their login page that means you're required to log in first before seeing the all of the details about the promo. There are some casinos that do this on purpose and sometimes would only offer promos for specific countries. When it comes to the terms and conditions they are usually mentioned all in one place or below the promo page.

Most of those banners I've seen were for those who are new users, meaning they will need to sign up to get those promotions because for existing users, they mostly have a page alone with the promotions or can easily get redirected to it like raffles or new games. The problem with these promotions is that you need to achieve specific goals, like betting a certain amount to get qualified, which means sometimes you need to spend more money.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 11, 2023, 07:40:14 AM
Money and education which one of these is advisable to achieve?
They constantly say education is the key to success but in my country today many graduates don't have a job, and most of them are still fed by their parents, and that's not the way it's supposed to be.
And again they also said money is potency and fondness. Yes, money is power even if you are not a graduate or you haven't been to college before and you have the money you can even employ a graduate to work for you.
Presently now in my wonderful fatherland NIGERIA 🇳🇬 I can see the power of money.
Please any advice?
I think - both are equally important.
But first have money and they get admission in a good institution - work side by side and earn. You will be the king in the university when you will have a good bank balance.

But without money you cant get education right? but if we are looking into adult perspective it would be money first as we know we are already finish our education on it and we need money to feed our selves and buy our needs but when we are still young we really need to prioritize education first as we need to have bright future. But overall it should be education because you can earn money by having good job which gives you enough salary to live.
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let them make the choice of bitcoin on: March 11, 2023, 06:32:53 AM
Bitcoin is too risky, so it's not really wise to give investment advice to anyone. I don't want to be blamed or called a scammer, so I never tell anyone to invest in bitcoin. I never wanted to talk about bitcoin investing with anyone, even my younger brother. Because he is not ready to accept losses.

I am also scared being called scammer because i gave advice to someone. Though it is okay to to tel someone about bitcoin explaining them and know the how to use it since that is really the purpose of bitcoin. But if you are giving advice about investing to it to those people that you didn't know well the possibility of calling you scammer or blaming you that they've lose they money because of you is pretty high so it is really best not to give financial advice only explaining what bitcoin is
1890  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: March 11, 2023, 05:34:06 AM
We have to leave the bad habit of taking a loan because debt will waste our time and opportunities to do other things, especially now that it's too easy to take loans so it tempts anyone, in my country it's very easy to take a loan from a smartphone application, only with a smartphone and sim card which contains at least 20 friends or family and then they will confirm that we will receive the loan amount immediately.

If you don't need to take a loan for emergencies, then it is good for you. We do have our own perspectives, even mine. If ever I have a chance not to take a lot, I will not be taking it because it is very hard to pay it back and you are struggling at that time, but I don't have a choice because I need money for emergencies and also because there are other things that I need to pay. That is why I only take a loan for emergencies, not wants.
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ponzi Schemes - People are confused. on: March 11, 2023, 04:27:42 AM
This is very important because there are newbies and other people thinking about it because they only know that when it comes to bitcoin, it is a scam because they only think that a ponzi scheme is the same as bitcoin. Mostly, this was the thought 5 years ago, and even recently, I've seen a lot of media showing this and only interviewing those people who had zero knowledge of bitcoin. That is why if there are friends or someone I know who talks about getting scammed in bitcoin, I always talk to them and explain it to them.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 11, 2023, 03:27:48 AM
It's pretty weird, though, if you change your internet connection. I mean, when you play in your house, you are using wifi, but when you go outside, you either connect to other wifi or use data, which means your IP will change, so there would be a lot of people getting banned on this. If the casino is legit, there is another reason for it: multiple accounts. As you know, this is one of the most prohibited things to do, and if it is stated in their terms and conditions that they will confiscate the balance, then we have no choice.
1893  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 11, 2023, 02:18:34 AM
It has a possibility in the future, but for now, it's a no because cryptocurrency was not made to replace our current system; it was made for us to transact. Though the possibility of going cashless in the future is very possible, there is a chance that it will be derived from cryptocurrency. But for now, let's focus more on using it as well as getting profit from it since if this well happens in the future, then we would be happy, but for sure, this will take more time.
1894  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 10, 2023, 05:20:02 PM
of course it will help, maybe in the end it is our actions and steps that determine our success, but a lot of education and training can help us in the beginning to take that step.
mostly success entrepreneur is have more experience and learning a lot about it.

It is a stepping stone to achieving your goals, meaning your path would be easy to compare without one. I don't have a degree, and my first job was in government, which was a job order or contractual, but if ever I do have a degree and the training required, I have the possibility of having a position on it. So you have an edge, but that doesn't mean that it is really necessary; it is still the result of your hard work since without it, you will still not land those jobs or achieve your goals.
1895  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: March 10, 2023, 02:18:40 PM
Actually now the straight answer can not be given because even in my country is not all place I can afford to live but still the cost of living in my country is affordable. My main reason is that petrol per litre up to now it not up $1 and am seeing someone is saying their own is above $2, in times of food even though we are all shouting about the price that is getting higher, a bag of rice now is about $50 before it not up to this amount that what is causing shouting. For rent of apartments depend on the location you want to live and also depend on your financial status, the least you can get is around $50-$60 this depends on my location. I am living in a small town.

A bag of rice is $50? that was overpriced! Well there are things that overprice here in our country also that is onion which is  $11 per kilo which is very huge but I do see now that it is dropping but those basic foods like rice are still the same on us around $37 which still pretty expensive comparing before but again it is still high. If the petrol drop price I am hoping that foods prices also drop too as all of the people here are struggling except those rich ones
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience on Bitcoin on: March 10, 2023, 01:22:02 PM
For sure almost all of us heard about bitcoin and thought that it is valued less and haven't thought that the price will skyrocket right now. Even myself way back in 2016 if ever I knew that this will be the price. But again if we live with our regrets and just keep thinking about it then there is nothing gonna happen to us that is why others are now accumulating bitcoin buying sats when they have extra money because they now see the future of bitcoin.
1897  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 10, 2023, 12:21:44 PM
There are already board on it but it is not about on that but for me, it is not necessary because you can create a thread on it but I do get your point that you need to sort of vouch theymos or other moderators on it which impossible to do as they won't be getting their name into it. Also, there are a couple of threads here but for specific only reviews on casinos which is also helpful. Also, casino is another type of business and it involves money which you can see a lot of owner throwing a lot of money for promotions.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Win So Far at Fortune.st Casino on: March 10, 2023, 10:36:53 AM
That's huge! That is really the dream of every gambler to win huge amount, i hope that the gamble who won those price is that he is very happy and able to manage it well for sure his financial problems if there is any will be solved by this. I am just curious if where this gambler right now if he is in the forum and just watching this thread lol. Also for OP it was great advertisement creating a thread about this showing off about someone to win to attract gamblers
1899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 10, 2023, 09:24:54 AM
If learning then there is no problem even if he tries the actual one because there is no age limit for learning trading, the problem is how he can deposit or even withdraw money because it needs KYC. There are trading simulators or demo accounts to try to trade for the minor but if he will try to be the real one he needs to be 18 years old unless he will use the identity of his parents. Though in legalities I haven't seen any restriction of age in trading unlike in gambling that there are really notice about it
1900  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 10, 2023, 08:29:20 AM
You are a good friend since you are still there for him even in bad times! Try to help him as much as possible since he really needs it. I've experienced this before twice, and those real friends of mine are helping me a lot. There are no solutions for him. He needs to find work so that he can support his family. For sure, doors will open for him if he just keeps looking. Also, that is the greatest lesson in my life: we should save in case of emergency, like those ones that will last you six months even if you don't work. I'm starting to save right now, but I also make investments from time to time to secure my future and that of my family.
