I've got one and it's still brand new / unworn. Might sell it on ebay if I can get a decent price for it but I think that article is exaggerating a bit. They only seem to be a handful of shirts sold on ebay and for around what they're worth. Shame it has lostprophets on the back. Still, suppose I could wear it ironically .

I had an idea whilst waiting at the drive thru of McDonalds. I thought, wouldn't it be cool if I could just scan a qr code and pay for my crappy burger?
Hopefully in the future we'll see all sorts of businesses and services accepting and implementing Bitcoin.
The fries would be cold and chewy by the time the transaction cleared definitely need to get the transaction confirmation issue improved somehow ... the utility would increase massively One transaction should be good enough, and if the payment was unsuccessful they can just chalk it up as a loss. They lose money from fake money and credit card reversals anyway, so I don't see the problem.

Then shouldn't the effective prohibition of bitcoin in China exert some kind of upward price pressure as well?
It's only pulling the value down because of idiots panic selling. Restricting something will make them more valuable and rare in the long run. China hasn't even banned them either. And drugs are so expensive because of the cost in safely and secretly distributing them is the most dangerous and costly aspect.

You could use the multi-signature transaction (M-of-N) of the armory wallet. Split you wallet into three parts. You keep one, and give two to two other people you trust (parent / partner etc). If you die you only need two of the parts of the three to get access to your funds. https://bitcoinarmory.com/about/faqs/

I think it's pronounced as shitecoin. Rhymes with bytecoin, but could be wrong.

But the reason My Female Friends are not into it is because they argue why change money to BTC then back to money to buy what they want. And that is also my problem, we need to spread BTC and get more merchants on board. And no I don't want to buy a sex toy online. I just want some real stuff I need.
That time will come. That's why it's a good idea to make as much BTC as you can now before they hit the mainstream, they you'll have a nice amount of money to play with. Excellent point. I have a few photographer friendz that love the idea lf getting laid in bitcoins.
lol.

Have I done something wrong since I haven't received payment yet? Count me in Current posts: 142 BTC: 169vLADXC9AyXDsw3LXvXQK98FciLJmPPh You seem to have only made 3 posts since you claimed on the 5th. I believe you can carry them over to this months round. I thought I got paid for my initial posts, 142, and the next month would only count the new posts I made? Nope. You only get paid for the posts you make since you sign up. Please read the initial post Stunna made in this thread: Once again PrimeDice is buying your signature space! The amount you will be paid is dependent on the amount of posts you make during the monthly time period. You will be paid per post made during the period not based off your existing posts! You must make at least 50 to be paid. Instructions2. Make posts and at the end of the month I will add up the amount you made. Please do not spam, attempt to make constructive posts that add to conversation. 3. On the 17th if you've reached the minimum requirement of 50 posts, send me a PM letting me know how many constructive posts you made, please deduct any non-constructive posts from this number, otherwise I will have to do so myself.

I'm getting more annoyed at all the Dogecoin threads in the newbie section.
Report them Is it a reportable offence? I remember one of the staff posting a while ago that non-bitcoin threads should be reported. The only place they are allowed is "Alternative Cryptocurrencies". They're doing my head in. It's just "to the moon" shit and "such profit" constantly. Look: To the moon!!! └(°ᴥ°)┘: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=377718.0Joke gets old pretty fast. Yeah, was funny for a few days, now not so much. Every other thread in the newb section is all about Doge. You aren't supposed to post Alt Coin stuff in the newbie section, no. Every so often someone will ask a specific question about a coin in particular, and that is normally fine, however general alt coin threads aren't supposed to be in the newbie section. Bitcoin is complicated enough without new members having to wrap their heads around the other 500 alt coins that pop up daily.
But, the primary reason for Alt Coins not being allowed in the Newbie Section, is that this is a Bitcoin forum, there is an Altcoin section for Altcoin discussion (crowded or not) so alt coin threads are generally not supposed to be anywhere besides the Alt Coin section, or preferably on their own forum.
I think the official Doge support is in the alt currency section on this forum, so that's why we get a load of stupid newbs just trying to get out of newb jail by spouting their cliched doge nonsense so they can just post their crap in there.

Do you know how far can they deliver and i was wondering also what speed theses drones can reach?
Don't know about their speed, maybe try googling it. I don't think these will become a reality at all.

Given that it is within the power of the Chinese Gov, to ban or at least ban all Chinese companies from dealing in Bitcoin, why have they not simply banned it?
How could they ban it and under what grounds? Even if they did 'ban' it, it's not going to stop people from using it.

I'm sure dogecoin will fall down when it has reached it peak. Same with litecoin as bitcoin.
It does fall down at its peak. See this video:

Have you asked or checked on their forum: http://doges.org/Or you could just wait four hours to get out of newbie jail here.

Incase this hasn't been figured out yet I just saw a musician (Zedd) post a picture on facebook of his Miley ornaments(same ones) on his tree and they are in fact a piece of paper on top of the ball.
Haha, well that sucks, but little 3d Miley's would’ve been novel.

THE LAST THING I WOULD DO IS JOIN A WEDDING CONVOY, LIKELY MOVING AT HIGH SPEEDS WITH HIGH-QUALITY VEHICLES THAT MAY HAVE BEEN RENTED FOR THIS SPECIAL OCCASION (after all, how many people drive in Yemen?) THE PRESENCE OF A CONVOY THAT FITS THESE CRITERIA IS STRIKINGLY SIMILAR TO WHAT THE U.S. WOULD CONSIDER STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR TRANSPORTING AN HVT (high-value target).
Or the American government can stop being cowards and throwing stones from afar. You can't go around blowing shit up without any solid intel. Oh look there's a convoy of cars, better blow it up is not a tactic; it's murder and a war-crime. What business do America even have in Yemen? They're not at war with them. Some of the answers on this are disgusting: http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/05/23/q-a-answering-readers-queries-on-drones/?_r=1The drones themselves are fairly accurate. In other words, they hit what they are trying to hit. But a drone strike is only as good as the intelligence supporting it. If the intelligence leading to a drone strike is bad, then there is a greater chance that a drone strike will kill civilians, or kill someone who posed no threat to the United States. There have also been cases of the C.I.A. and Pentagon carrying out drone strikes on individuals after being fed intelligence by that person’s rivals.
The actual procedures are classified, so it is very difficult to know exactly what takes place before a drone strike is carried out. One particularly controversial aspect of the program is the use of “signature strikes” — when the C.I.A. carries out the strike not based on intelligence about a specific individual but on “patterns of activity” of people at a compound or suspected training camp. . —MARK MAZZETTI

instead of printing off a paper wallet is it possible to instead write down an address' keypair/ would I be able to restore from just this combination?
Writing them down may actually be safer, but as others have said, make sure you get the keys right. You could also take a picture of them etc.

Well Gen Tarkin obviously it is your personnel opinion that bitcoin has a prosperous future but in my personnel opinion it is hard to predict about brightness of bitcoin in future. Although many companies have begun to accept bitcoins due to its high popularity while many other companies are considering to use it but if countries like china start banning it then you would see how many companies retreat suddenly.
China hasn't banned it, it's just stopped deposits from happening on exchanges. Governments can put restrictions on it, but it's futile trying to ban it outright as it wont happen - people will still use it even with risk of punishment.

There's a high likelihood that "Satoshi Nakamoto" is a group of people and the pseudonym doesn't belong to one single person.
Plus - if he was ever going to come out from under his bed - it wouldn't be to sign a message to you.
What makes it a high likelihood? I know it's possible that it isn't just one person, but haven't seen any high evidence for it. Multiple news outlets have done research and all of the potential "Satoshi Nakamoto(s)" were groups of people. It'd be too difficult for one person to create this - proficiency in networking, programming, security, economics, etc... And if one person did do it, it would take years. It seems more likely "Satoshi Nakamoto" is a pseudonym for multiple people. Which news outlets? He might've been working on Bitcoin for years before he released it. I'd think it'd be harder to keep ahold of all Satoshi's coins if it was a group of people as opposed to one. Good point. All those old wallets with thousands of coins would be mighty tempting right now. If it was a group, you're just multiplying the number of people who would become greedy and want their share or to cash out.
