1901  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 28, 2022, 11:31:37 PM
With the Russian invasion of Ukraine, almost all sectors & big businesses in Russia have been hit with huge Sanctions against them both from the United States, the United Kingdom and other internationally related bodies. Sanctions have hit the Russian central bank, other small russian banks, big business and companies in Russia from airlines to manufacturing have been affected as well and many assets private and government owned has been frozen.

-Do you think Russia can survive, and how can they survive the harsh economic realities that they are about to experience? Are the sanctions sufficient to push Putin into a decision to stop the invasion?

Of course they can survive, they will just be in a much poorer position than when they began this useless war. Not only has Putin proved that his army is utterly incompetent and badly managed throughout, he has crippled the Russian economy for many decades to come. Even if the sanctions were slowly removed, his unpredictable nature and rash economic decisions have shown that it is a terrible place for foreign investment. There is money to be made, but there are a lot safer places that can generate equally high returns. The average Russian will become a lot poorer, not only in money but freedom of speech and travel opportunities, while the richest Russians are also going to face a backlash of unprecedented proportions for the poorly thought out attack by their leader.
We would really be seeing these effects anytime soon as this war would be over and you re right that this would be leaving out that bad impression that this country is really bad to make out some business and also in

other aspects which it would really be making more looks bad just because on what they've done recently. This would badly hurt their economy, they are already feeling it now gradually because of sanctions
but the real story begins when this war is over. Would he regret on what he had done?
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Assumptions of People who don't know about bitcoin... Ki on: March 28, 2022, 10:41:19 PM
Quote
1) Bitcoin is a bubble : This is the most common thing the community has said against it from the past and it could burst anytime but they are proved wrong each time. The prices increase they say it will burst out and when they falls they say it's crash but in reality they don't know anything about it.It is a currency and like any other asset can go up and down in value so what do you expect from it? But in reality btc is needle that is bursting fiat bubbles.
This is mostly what I've to hear from the people around before but today, upon asking them, you can hear different stories some will say "it was a profitable investment and any got rich" , while the others will still think it was a scam and it burst. It is likely to say that many were still not aware of the situation by now, many were never appreciates Bitcoin, in fact, it has already been proven so many times. And to argue with these negative people is just a waste of time, but I believe they'll change somehow sooner and they realize that they are wrong.
People will always believe in it as long as they refused to be educated in bitcoin and become one sided. Because i always believe that if you have enough knowledge about bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrencies, you will never stick to this foolish idea that bitcoin is  a bubble. Bitcoin has definitely its high potentials that will create a good store of value. And if its really a bubble, i cannot think of a valid reason why bitcoin has still survive up to this present time.
There are really people who are close minded on which they dont really let new changes and innovations for them to get convinced but rather they do stick out on something that they do have in mind.
Just like been said that it is mind boggling on why someone does really have that kind of thinking on where they are close to changes and they do call it scam directly without even knowing
but soon they would realize and be regretting that they had lost too much time and opportunity to make profits not only into investment matter but also into its utility.
1903  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 28, 2022, 08:41:55 PM
Big things are really happening in the world of crypto and as far as I can tell, this isn't just a win for stake it's a win for the crypto ecosystem which should pave way for other crypto based companies to join the real world in marketing these businesses and coins. I hope regulation won't become an issue in due course with these partnerships that keep puttingus on the map Roll Eyes
AFAIK, Drake makes more than 70 mln dollars in a year. Stake partnership will be win-win situation for both parties since both brands will take advantage of "more users=higher revenue* formula. In the next expected Drake live stream, record breaking giveaways are promised by Stake team, things will change after this event and marketing team will get huge bonuses just from this event,IMHO.
Business as usual and we know that this is how business works on which they do really need to be that aggressive in terms of marketing which they do know that it could bring something or make more revenue.

They wont really be hesitating on spending or make out some partnerships and its indeed a win-win situation on both sides but well its not surprising because this is how business works.
It is really just great that crypto casinos is getting much attention since there are celebs does have millions of followers which do really end up on having good exposure towards crypto.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 28, 2022, 07:47:11 PM
I have not bought something with crypto, but when I have to buy something I convert my crypto in fiat and then I buy that thing. Actually there is no one in our country that use cryptocurrency for payment source. So that's why I have not bought anything direct with cryptocurrency.
Adoption isnt still available in every corners of the world which it isnt surprising that there would really be no available on using up directly with your crypto on buying something or getting some service etc.

Therefore, you wont really be having no options but to convert it to fiat first (which is mostly people been doing) before you could buy something that you wished for.
But in most cases on which people dont spend up their crypto because of the potential profits that it could give on future runs or long term thats why its unlikely to be used.
1905  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me | Warning | What happened? on: March 28, 2022, 06:44:32 PM
I think I saw some people complain about this site before, so this is not the first time.

I checked on their Trustpilot page and the recent reviews are negative - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bitdice.me which some positives that are made periodically (fake reviews as they are made in one or 2 days)

I think It's about time a proper scam accusation is opened so that we can tag and flag BitDice.me to warn newbies, guest users and other members who check out their threwad.
Not a solid thing for you to throw out some accusations on this site just because they havent responded to email which is totally different when we are talking about deposit/withdrawal issues
which means that it is a different type of scenario which it is just too biased if we do just simply accuse them just for this.

For Bitdice then they should be at least attentive around if they do really like to sustain their business for even more years because neglecting or ignoring public concern would create
possible much problem ahead.
1906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 25, 2022, 08:37:25 PM

Like the image above, it's happens to me almost all the time and I don't know if any one here can relate? At times, it's really frustrating and I feel like "maybe some witches are out there preventing me from making profit off my investment" 😂.

So what you all think? Do you experience this kind of stuffs too? Feel free to share your story with us.
This happen when you not hold for long term. Why you want to sell when market is bear.
This happen with those users who buy at top and sell at bottom.
If market bears don't sell coin and wait to regain momentum

Clearly you don't understand mate, that is, you totally miss the whole point, it's not about wanting to sell when the market is bear, and it's not about not wanting to hold for long term either.
Understand that there are day traders, people who trade for daily profit, and there are others who buy to hold for long term, it's a choice we all make individually, every body must not buy to hold for long term, understand that.
And for your information, this shit happens, it has happened to me many time, even on coins I bought to hold for long term, I keep buying the deep and it keep dipping, that's what am talking about.
Simply all matters with your own goals and targets whether you would go for long term or for short term or would go for situational whether you do act out accordingly on what you are currently facing or experiencing
on and we know that decisions could be altered depending if we do see that we are making out some profits.Doesnt matter on what path you are taking as long you do see that it do fits your preference then go ahead.
It do really just sucks when things turns out or go to opposite way on the time we had made out some decisions whether buying or selling. Being reactive is just normal since we are just humans
and we dont like on losing money thats why.
1907  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me | Warning: Junk - not professional - Absent on: March 24, 2022, 11:50:11 PM
^ Do you think they are still the same who run this casino?
I mean, dogedice.me was inactive a long time ago, and probably one of their staff now running this casino which never cares about the reputation. I never heard any scam accusation towards them before and probably how they care their reputation before not to ruin. But now this behavior it seems there is a change that they must be avoided, I did not accuse or even defend them but I want to hear their side about this matter, two affiliate gambling websites removing them it seems they remove their affiliation program and probably they announce this somewhere else.
There are actually some scams accusations for this casino in the past. Some had been resolved and some havent.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1824474.0

This is mostly regarding with that ICO investments but speaking with their casino then they do always pay without any hiccups or problems.
It is just people do really need for them to be that responsive.
1908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 24, 2022, 10:45:23 PM
How about this for an improvement: BTC mining vs. BTC possession. Moreover, what is the reason?

In other words, if I had a 40k right now, should I buy a model such as the Antminer L7, for instance? Purchase a single bitcoin, if that is your preference.
You should go for buying Bitcoin because price of Bitcoin isn't so high at this time. It's a great opportunity to buy Bitcoin with lower price. Mining Bitcoin is costly because you have to pay for electric bill and components for mining. Better, buy Bitcoin and wait for some years to get good money.
Simply saying that ROI is really much longer but if you do like to complicate things or do really have in passion on dealing with mining then you could also choose it out but if you dont like the hassle and other factors

to be mind off then you could simply buy a whole bitcoin which you do need to add up a little bit since 43k price as of this writing but if you do like to hassle things up then choose on buying a miner
but you should be considerate on other factors which like on electricity cost and others.
To have at least some more elaboration for this point.

Things Investors Should Know About
Equipment Used for Mining. In the earlier days, CPUs were used for mining all types of cryptocurrencies. ...
Cost of Energy. Miners have to run their equipment almost 24/7. ...
The Market Rate of the Currency. ...
Global Market Condition. ...
The Mining Pool.

Source

If you are not that tech savvy or knowledgeable then better skip out on doing mining.
1909  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me - Not trusted on: March 24, 2022, 09:40:49 PM
They do not respond to emails, in fact they have not answered us for several months. It is serious enough to give a warning to anyone who plays with cryptocurrency.
What are the other associations against them apart from not answering emails. This evidence is not enough to proof anything.
I think this is more an early warning than a direct accusation against the website, after all if you are one of their partners and they have not answered your requests for months then it is fair to think about what is happening with that casino that cannot even take the time to write a reply to you, so I think that @Zberg is doing the right thing here by warning the community that something could be going on that casino and for the time being to stay clear from it.
So far there were no complaints about on not getting paid but still they are operational which means that they are still doing good although there might be some key areas on which they do neglect it out or doesnt really

put up that much attention which it resulted to this and its true that this is some sort of warning but not an accusation that they are shady or being scam. They've been on gambling business for several years
which you couldnt not make out some conclusion that they arent trusted just because they havent been responding out.
1910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 24, 2022, 08:33:27 PM
If we are to really just talk about the history repeating itself, then the people who have suggested this should have already sold most of thejr bags last year November-december since those were the best times to sell since by history repeating itself we should be expecting a bearish time or a winter for the crypto industry. Currently bitcoin is trying to push through 45k but I don't expect it to reach thag price just yet since we are approaching the weekends again. An honest opinion amd already a bullish outlook is 70k with a maximum of 90k for this year.
Unfortunately people only "talk" about how it will repeat itself, and not act accordingly. The simplest proof of this is that everyone knows that you should buy when the price is at the bottom and low, and you should sell when it peaks and high right? Well by that logic, how could it even get low? If nobody sells because it is going low and wants to buy because it is going low, it can't even get low by that logic, same goes for the higher prices.

Same idea could be used for the history repeats itself, if it repeats itself then we could get very very wealthy all together, just buy at the same time, and sell at the same time and it will repeat forever and we will get richer and it is so simple. Hence why it won't happen that way.
Because we do have different approach towards price situations or moments which would lead in to different types of actions to be made thats why price would really be volatile and unpredictable as always.

As for individual personal view then actions be made would be accordingly on what you are observing whether you do buy on dip which might not be a dip price into others.
As for this market normal possible situations to happen then its impossible to think that there would be no bullrun but the question as always is on WHEN?
1911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: March 24, 2022, 07:33:32 PM
And like what you have said, once you already achieved your set target, better to take
the right action and never to follow greed it will lead you to lose your investment.
The most difficult thing in investing is how to convince yourself not to sell anything when the increase has reached 50% of the capital. For me the 50% increase is a good time to secure profits if the profit target is in the short term, but the hesitation will be greater when in the long term the increase has exceeded 100% of the capital.

It is true that greed should be avoided from trading and investing, but when we have bigger targets in the long term then expecting 5x - 10x profit is reasonable and I think it's not greed.
Profit is profit and this you should be having on mind and wont really be having any regrets on the time you do see that the price had risen up even more.It is really a very normal human being kind of reaction because

we dont like to miss out everything thats why we are really having some hindrance whenever we do see a particular rise or increase in our portfolio.Be comfortable with your strategy and be comfortable on

decisions that you would potentially made on a particular situation and never look back so that you wont really make out some regrets.
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: March 23, 2022, 11:47:05 PM
@OP (mirakal) which this thread should be locked since it is not really that sensible on making up some discussions in related to this fight since it wont really happen.

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson won’t be stepping into the ring with social media star Jake Paul, a representative for the former champion told Forbes
https://www.forbes.com/sites/marisadellatto/2022/01/17/no-mike-tyson-is-not-fighting-jake-paul-representative-says/?sh=6efc7fd92cf7

It is finalized and concluded that he wont be fighting a social media star. Cool

1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 23, 2022, 10:48:03 PM
...
Elon's impact on the crypto market is no longer very big but there are still many people who relate to it when the bitcoin price goes up.  Elon must have ulterior motives why he had to make that tweet, he must be trying to raise the price of dogecoin again but to no avail lol.

I do not agree, Elon's impact is big on the markets. And if someday he decides to sell all his coins and make a tweet about that, then we will see a big crash in the markets. But since Elon is bitcoin-friendly this will not happen, but I don't doubt Elon will manipulate the crypto markets again as he did in the past.
Chance of manipulation would be always there and its true that he could really influence out on how this market moves and if news would be saying that Elon is selling his bitcoins or something that is attached with

something negative then its really impossible to say that market would not make out any significant reactions which is really very that common neither they would make out some movement
or would just simply ignore just because the community does know on that possible manipulative kind of act made by him just like in the past.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 23, 2022, 09:56:03 PM

I'm sure that the news that he is cheating have shocked the other players on the said tournament especially for those who are believing in him or for those who have been defeated by Igors Rausis. Anyway, it seems that it is not the first time he cheated while using a bathroom break, I mean he could've cheated already before he was caught.
Apart from audience - this is a big stain on his career. I am sure he would be repenting so much for what he has done. Fair game is always liked and admired by the audiences. No One would like to have a tag of cheater along with them - even if they are cheating. Have they had focused on the game - he would have done better than focusing on cheating.
Big stain on the sense that it would really be changing up his entire career situation because once you do already have that bad impression on being a cheater then people could not just trust you once again because

we do know that once trust is broken then you would really be having a hard time on getting it back and this is the thing on which people is looking at him as a cheater. He cant be trusted once again.
Well, we do all change but he shouldnt have done it on the first place.
1915  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 23, 2022, 08:56:11 PM
The economy is getting closer to Russia, but I'm sure this has been carefully taken into account, but because Russia has a strong allies like China, I'm sure the sanctions will not have too much impact, besides that Russia has oil reserves and the gas needed by the European state so that it has the power to Avoid strict economic sanctions such as other countries.
Of course, the Russians didn't just stand still and calculated the worst-case scenario,
I think Russia knows that they will be subject to sanctions by various countries but of course the brands also have a strategy to deal with this,
Let's see what happens next and let's follow the progress

Maybe they have calculated it from the beginning, but they know that they still have the last laugh because of the oil they have. The supplied Europe and now that sanctions are around, Europe and the world are suffering from the gas hike as an effect. So we really don't know who will win in this war, but for sure, there will be suffering from both sides and maybe Russia can't survived that long with all the sanctions from the West, just saying.
They are really that confident because they do really have that huge reserve not only talking on some resources but totally speaking on their back up funds and of course they had already anticipated for this thing to

happen speaking with sanctions in global scale manner because into what they have done.So far they are really still holding on despite of those sanctions that they are facing on.
Yes, it would really be giving out economic effect but it seems they dont really put up much focus for that for now.
1916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Occupational hazards of trading crypto on: March 23, 2022, 08:16:41 PM
These are mainly what I can think of also for the possible bad effect of trading in the long run. Stress can cause many problem, like lack of sleep, bad eating habit and worse, depression.

We are aware that trading is not often about gaining because there are also rainy days if everything didnt go accordimg to planned.

But these things can be avoided or somehow diminish if we can handle ourselves especially our emotions and know how to balance everything to still have a healthy lifestyle.

The above mention hazards can be get to any kind of works to be honest especially if you are in a place or work where you are not feel comfortable and not happy to what you're doing. For me, those cannot be avoided but atleast the possibilities to make it worst can be lessen by having a self limitation on what you're doing. I don't think also that stress can be avoided in trading but atleast we should know how to handle it properly. After all, I was hoping a happy earning to everyone and let's not forget to take care of ourselves too.
There are things which it could really be putting you on a situation on where you could really be still affected with stress or shall we say that things becomes unbalanced even you are on your comfort zone or doing

things which is really that having in your passion which i could say that very normal thing to happen.Proper time management and handling out things accordingly is suggested and if you do see that something is

off balanced then try to make out some adjustments on which you wont really be compromising something because it might mold out some problems in the future.
1917  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 22, 2022, 05:03:53 PM
For sure they are fully aware of it on how to make more money but it would be just good if they would simply stick on their own sports and doesnt put that much attention on exhibitions.

What is "their own sport" ? YouTube blogging or selling course "how to be successful on YouTube" ? Logan Paul did football and wrestling in high school. Jake Paul has been a douchebag since he started making videos on VINE Cheesy I suggest Jake to get back to YouTube (so that I can block him from appearing among my mma/boxing recommendations) and live in his own world.

I was wrong on that one.  Cheesy

I've missed out that those Paul brothers are just good on making out some show.Yeah, they have lots of subscribers but doesnt mean that they could do everything as they like.
Logan might able to pull on to fight with Conor in the past but for sure it would be the last. This man or even his brother doesnt really give out any good fight and
they are really just making themselves look like a clown. hehe
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: March 22, 2022, 03:55:56 PM
Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.

Most people think there are kind and popular people in the crypto industry who have a large audience and these people want to help make money with this large audience. In fact, these people want to make money with the help of their large audience. Any Influencer who talks about any project is not an enthusiast, this is an interested person who promotes what he was paid to do. That's how all sorts of dubious NFT, GameFi projects were promoted. People found out about them through youtube, discord, instagram from influencers and believed that if such a person talks about a project, it means it's worthwhile. Always do your own research, not blindly follow someone else's opinion.
When you are just a noob then you would really likely to fall out of these traps but if you are someone who do really loves on verifying everything via your own research then you would really be able to save up your ass

with these things which is really very rampant or really been flooding on this market thats why you should really be careful on who you would really gonna believe but as much as possible its better to stay away with
these fellas. They are just shilling out something with having that intent behind.

Stick with your own actions basing with your own analysis.
1919  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 22, 2022, 02:52:07 PM
Sure I could definitely see this happening. You’ve got two narcissists who love nothing more than money and attention and this is exactly what they’ll get if /when this fight happens. I personally don’t think I’ll have any interest in it as I can’t stand either one of these guys but I know it’ll end up being a big deal.

It will happen only if uncle Dana White, president of UFC let Conor fight. UFC contracts does not allow their fighters participate elsewhere. Jake Paul has been barking on Dana or UFC many times already, and Dana things he is just a clown or douchebag. Will Dana release Conor McGregor from UFC, the best milking cow and most profitable investment - never. The only way this fight might happen, if Jake gets into UFC. But before facing Conor, he must have fought other guys. Also, Conor recently told he is interested in a title fight in welterweight against Kamaru Usman. I can see this fight never going to happen. Like Jakes brother Paul against Mike Tyson.
Both Paul brothers did really have failed out on putting up some fight into those known boxers or athletes for some different reasons which is actually understandable for them to say so.

Its clear as day on what are their motives and as part of their ego then they wouldn't just let those brothers would really be using up their popularity or fame for the sake on earning more.
For sure they are fully aware of it on how to make more money but it would be just good if they would simply stick on their own sports and doesnt put that much attention on exhibitions.
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2022, 12:16:53 PM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
The greatest reason for me is the fact that bitcoin is definitely a better method to save my "wealth". I mean it would be awesome if I could spend it as well but there is no scenario where I can pay my bills, go to cinema, buy groceries with bitcoin just yet. One day that will surely happen as well, not going to be anytime soon globally, but there are few places that started doing it so I am assuming it should be fine. Aside from that, I believe that it shouldn't really be a problem at all.

I believe that we could technically go for more of an investment and trying to protect the money we have right now and not lose it against the inflation.
Adoption and recognition is on the move even though we arent able to make use of our coins directly but somewhat there are services which could make things possible but of course that would be touching 3rd party

again which is something that people doesnt like. They do really love to have that p2p manner.Hoarding up bitcoin neither be intending for the sake of profits in future or would typically be supporting it in speaking

with actual relevance and utility. We do have our own personal perceptions and impressions towards it so its not actually surprising.
