I got it and it's great.
I closed and opened it a few times to see my panels were the same.  LOL
It also seems a bit faster did you optimize any code?  Used to take a longer to open on my laptop where I monitor my miners from.
Thanks again for great work.

Just launched a new MultiMiner homepage at http://multiminerapp.com if you folks feel like taking a look around.  Grin

HI Everyone.
I got my coin just the other day.  I really like it.  It is very nice looking and his service is top notch.

I even wrote an article about it I was very impressed.

Thanks for the wonderful coin I look forward to seeing more from you in the future and purchasing more coins.

Ah ok.
That is great then.   Grin

Bummer.  Seriously.
I am so glad you are all over it though.

Sorry - didn't mean to imply it was a big roadblock. Just that I was waiting. There's info going back and forth so things are progressing.
1924  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Does anyone still have their Jalapenos plugged in? on: February 22, 2014, 06:11:54 AM
Exactly, plus the tweaking and upgrading is fun.
It's fun to go into my library and see my little mining operation or downstairs to my server room and see my avalon chugging away amid my servers and switches and such.

Quote

Yeah, if you think it would worth $10,000, please sell your jalapenos and buy BTC.. you should earn more then double this way..

I was thinking the same. I guess its more of a mental thing really. Running them yourself you'll feel like you got some sort of hands on use from them. That's the excitement from it all, watching that fresh minted coin come in.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with 6 R9 290x | BOUNTY 2 LTC! on: February 22, 2014, 05:51:49 AM
A couple things that may help.
When I had that happen with my driver it turned out to be the intensity was set too high at the default setting.  By lowering it on my cards to between 11 and 15 stopped the driver crash.
The other thing to do is go here and get a full setup code and get it in your config as that helps the cards run correctly when mining.
https://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison
From there you should be up and mining.
If you need further help in tweaking your setup I recommend Swarm and Root and some of the guys on the shoutbox over at LTCRabbit.com as they helped me squeeze the most out of my cards.
I hope this helps you out.

Hello fellow miners. I recently build a rig:

6x Sapphire R9 290x TRI-X (not yet overlocked, trying to make the rig stable first)
ASUS H81 PRO BTC
8GB RAM
2x 1200W PSU
Custom built case (well ventilated)

I am using 13.12 drivers. The problem is that ATI Driver keeps crashing and after that one card goes SICK. I tried switching the cards and slots, so its not the card issue. I am using regular (not powered risers) for this rig. Temperatures stay at 76-78 C.

I tried BAMT, but one GPU gradually goes down in hashrate until it goes to 0 (lol?)

Willing to give 2 LTC bounty to one that actually helps solve the issue.
1926  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: 再多服务器又如何?一年只能挖2.1575个比特币,不如来AG亚游集团 on: February 22, 2014, 05:42:28 AM
That is because they are using server CPU's to mine which is very inefficient now.
If they turned those servers to MemoryCoin which is a CPU mined coin they could actually reap a much larger payout.
There are several other altcoins that they could do that with as well.

It does that from time to time.
I just go to my workers page and it shows the actual stats.
It's been a great pool and he keeps making it better.

I am new to digging dogecoin and I was wondering if it was normal that the dashboard does not display any stats at all?
Thanks.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin cold storage? on: February 22, 2014, 05:24:23 AM
Now that is some work that comes in handy.
Even barcodes that is cool.
I have not gotten that creative yet but you have given me ideas.  Grin

Laminating is fun.
For quite a while years ago I laminated tons of stuff just to do it like a dork.  My girlfriend at the time (now Wife) thought I was goofy.  Joke was on her when we had moved and a couple boxes got wet.  She was so happy I had laminated a couple of her certifications.  She did not lose them.

Make a paper wallet using the link in my signature. If you are paranoid print your paper wallets using "hiren's boot CD" disconnected from the internet with the print spooler turned off.  Buy a cheap laminator and the credit card sized laminating pads from wally-fart. Print your wallet and private key and follow the directions. The private key cannot be exposed unless the lamination is cut open and the cold storage is now fairly weatherproof and you can make multiple copies of a single wallet for a safe deposit box or whatever.

I love laminating things. What self respecting male doesn't love playing with fire, or heat and melting things? Wink

nice. My newest thing is storing all my account passwords on "lastpass" .. all of them are now random gibberish passwords generated from password generators... the master password to lastpass is a random password I have laminated into a QR code stored in my physical wallet and safe deposit box. The password to the main google account associated with all my important accounts including lastpass has it's own random  password that is also laminated as a QR code.. this password is not stored on lastpass. Both are protected by google 2 factor authentication. As secure as I can make it and no longer have to remember passwords. Smiley I have an "MS-1690" 2D USB barcode scanner I bought on ebay recently to scan these barcodes if I'm not using a phone (which I don't and have the mobile bypass feature turned off)

"I just scored 97.4% on the LastPass Security Challenge ranking 1678th overall. It securely analyzes the strength of your passwords, alerts you if you have any duplicate or weak passwords, and tells you how to make them more secure."

I also made and laminated a series of barcodes for work since we use barcode scanners as part of the job and have to change passwords and remember usernames and sometimes relogin to buggy java software that freezes every hour or two, the barcodes come in handy. Smiley

This brings up another little thing I enjoy doing.. making complex 2D barcodes of various types and with various texts.. I don't know why barcodes fascinate me... I can't imagine before the days of bar codes and self checkout having to wait behind a line of old farmer joes as they manually type in the price of everything by hand.. I'd go crazy!
1929  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Trouble Setting Up Avalon Mini 60GH/s Rig on: February 22, 2014, 04:45:12 AM
The easiest way I have found to setup my Avalon was to just plug it into my router.  Then I logged into my router and saw which IP address it was.  Then I typed it in on my laptop and was in.
It seems every time I tried to set it up at first using the direct cable method it just did not work.
Try that out it may get you going easier.
I hope this helps you out.

Hi,

I recently aquired an Avalon Mini, and have run into some difficulty setting it up.

Here is what I am running and what I have done so far:

Any ideas why I would be getting a page not found error?

1931  Economy / Services / Re: Is there a site where I can sell files for bitcoins? on: February 22, 2014, 04:34:11 AM
I hit the faucets too.
I actually get about 50000 satoshi per week.  Not to bad.  I don't trade much as I don't have the focus for it anymore.  If I was not in such pain I would think about it again.
I do have a friend who I gave .02 BTC to and he has already doubled it in a couple days.  That helps too.
My little bit of mining gear makes me .02 per day as well.
I really hope I can come up with some money to get a couple Ant S1 miners to help that out.  It sucks being broke and loving tech so much.  Add in how much I like Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies it drives me nuts not having money to invest a bit more into it.

We will get there though a little a time.
Good luck to you as you get into it more.  It's alot of fun.

That is a good idea.  I wish I was up to website building but I am so drained I just cannot do it efficiently anymore.  I would be a great opportunity to make a few dollars and help people out.

Thanks for the leads too.
I will have to go through my existing works and see what might be worth something to others.  I need money pretty badly so this will help.

I hear you on the money man, been there too.
PPD was one of the first ways I used to make money on line.

I've been using faucets and trading the free btc to get started in bitcoin. I know they don't pay the most, but trading can. By trading the small amounts of bitcoin I got for free, learning the market has been painless. I don't get negative when i lose 20,000 satoshis I got for free, however, I do get excited when I double or triple it Smiley
1932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin cold storage? on: February 22, 2014, 03:58:01 AM
I used two methods.
The first I put one copy of my wallet in my gun safe.
It's fireproof to a huge temp.  I printed it and laminated it.  I also put in on a metal plate in the safe.
The 2nd is backed up to 4 flash drives one in a safe deposit at the bank one is hidden in the house.  Another in a family members safe and the last at my best friends house in his safe.  Each USB drive is encrypted and passcoded.
I went nuts I just don't want to lose access the the tiny amount I have.

I will post a review on it when it gets in.

Yes. You can use this site: bitkama.com
Just open a job and choose the "Instant Delivery File" option.
Now you can send the link to people...

Looks like a hurting Fiverr copycat.

I was looking for a PPD site that pays out in BTC, a couple people had mentionned isharefile.net, but I never went as far as actually creating an account.

I know that CPALead has an API dashboard, and you can create your own currency for survey payouts, so maybe someone needs to build a website around that.

I went to your site when I saw it in another post on here.
I hope to order a couple of the 40" ones the end of next week.
Thanks for having reasonable prices I really appreciate.  I don't have much money so I have to stretch what I do have.

What the heck, don't link to those overpriced ones!! Go to my website, only $20 each!

Thank you.  Just what I was looking for.
I appreciate it.

Anyone have a good link to powered USB risers for GPU's?
The link here shows an ended auction.
Also if it is a US or Canadian seller it would be great.
Thanks

One thing you could do is point them at an altcoin to maximize and extend their lifespan.
That is a great way to keep them going.
I have my gear all running too.  Even my 4 USB block erupters.  You can use MultiMiner to control which units mine which coins.
It works great.
That being said I will buy your Jalapeno for $75 shipped and pay with BTC if you like.  Smiley

I'm still running my 7GH/s Jalapeno - I paid $100 USD to upgrade it from the original 5GH/s (and later found that people who hadn't upgrade got the upgrade for free!)

I'm even still running 9 ASICMINER Block Erupter USBs, which have been mining 24x7 since July 2013.  Actually, I'm still running every piece of mining hardware I have ever bought.  At some point I need to cull out the less efficient ones...
1938  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: February 22, 2014, 02:00:00 AM
Hard to say.
I have a 74 gh/s Aalon1 that runs great.
I would love to get another one just to mine altcoins.  My problem is my money is limited.

Which one do you have?

Hello all. Avalon2 setup guide will be up soon.

Is there any demand for an Avalon1 setup? I guess a lot of units (including mine) will be moving to new owners to retire now that difficulty is 2049105903billion.

Bummer.  Seriously.
I am so glad you are all over it though.
Is it driver or code info you are waiting for from DualMiner or something else?
Running cgminer on my system does all sorts of weird things I do not like.

On a good note I decided to see if Foxconn would be able to warranty my motherboard that died a few weeks ago.  Turns out it was out of warranty but they are sending me a replacement for $30.  I will have it next week towards the end of the week.  That is some great customer service as the boards are still $159 new.  I am impressed, surprised and happy.
Soon I will have my main mining system back up and running and can run the DualMiner separate if I have to while support is still being worked on.

Thanks for the work I appreciate it.

Just curious if there's any update on the DualMiner stuff? Still have the same roadblock?

There's progress. Different roadblock now. Just waiting on more info.
