Hitting a scaling buffer is a nice problem to have in a way. I wonder how many alts could deliver their claims without hiccups. Perhaps we'll never know.

And back to the real world... sh!t is happening... or going down!  Roll Eyes

one iced coffee for me please, it's pretty hot here in NL atm.

All that snow you had a couple of weeks ago has melted?

I think you are mistaking NL with another country. I haven't seen proper snow for years. Snowy landscapes in NL are only to be found on old pictures dating back before our love of fossil fuels.

I think that depiction is from the Maunder Minimum on that french river ... hmmm... Siena? ... or something like that Cheesy ... Anyway... This sideways sh!tshow is starting to piss me off... Just rip off the damn f'ing band-aid already and don't accept a price lower than 700$coco ... hmmm... ok?.. China.. u hearing me?

No spelling errors and no capitalization.  How much did you pay for that account?

He seems to be ... high? ... or dunno.. maybe he is bored.

Anyway... I see pensions funds all over the world going down the toilet... I think is it.. this is the crisis reason! Smiley .. pump expected!  Cheesy

I shared it with communities of my acquaintance which might be interested, but the issues are too complex for this forum to discuss on topic, I think.  You can always raise the issue in a more appropriate thread if you desire an in-depth discussion.

For the stupid amongst us can we at least get an (a) this is wonderful or (b) this is shit?

Agree... tl;dr ... a short summary would be much appreciated... then we will decide to argue on the details and maybe discredit that paper/report/composition... wtf it might be... So I guess summary or gtfo!  Cheesy
Not going to read 30+ pages... that is just madness. At least he can give some spoilers or something too hook us in.. Smiley

*Edit2: Just give the man a Lambie/Jessus coin... people would get in to them just for the lulz...

You could have a shmadz coin  :-/ but there can be only one :p

Your initiative is beyond nonsense... but I like it! ... Go mad or go home!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

*Edit: I actually though to make this for the shares of the company... and not go public anymore... but actually give employees a platform where they can exchange and trade shares with a quarterly sponsorship to all the shareholders. Basically the company just throws money away... takes a quarterly dump.. and shareholders profit.  Roll Eyes

Lol at the whole page, give more chart porn at your earliest convenience.

In the grand scheme of things it may look bad for some... but is a payday for others.  Grin

>7 year economic cycle [...] we are overdue a recession;

Not seeing it, maybe they did it wrong. Could you point out this pattern in the 40-year chart below?
In my region we have more than 50% unemployed.
You gotta move to a better neighborhood.

In a zone with 50% unemployment people should start their own under the table economy. I mean... with those numbers it would be an easy political choice to have 0% taxes and sh!t just for people to be incentivized.

And when you count those years... from 7 to 7... is not exactly like that. Because for example in the real world with fake stuff people are not like in bitcoin... when they cheer if it goes down.. and cheer as well when it goes up. Bitcoin is just madness when it comes to that... Because for example I make more bitcoin when it goes down than when it goes up. But... in the real word.... fake stuff going down is creating uncertainty! Smiley

Meaning that in those situations people can't expect on the long term to just hold and get their return investment back. So... usually people cut their loses and the big guys get their way... while the little guys suffer more.

And the thing with market collapses is that the whales of the real world fake money schemes... is that they hold most of the time during the low points of the charts. Meaning that is no to almost no movement in profits for anyone. And when you count those 7 to 7.... it doesn't really need to be like that... for example in 1988 there was something that collapsed the soviet union in the next year... and most of the countries left in 1989 and 1990. But have no idea what was in 1995... I mean I didn't do research or didn't hear... but it sure was something... because it always is something! Dunno... cosmic joke?

Because of the financial collapse of the world.  Roll Eyes (That's the short answer. )
This is not so easy to explain, but I will tell you it has nothing to do with the USA.

Yep... US of A... it is not necessarily their fault. There are multiple factors that lead to this. Especially paper money.. but there is a twist there as well. If the gold standard was still here... I don't know if we would have had the same progress. Or maybe there could have been even more progress if the US didn't became such a constricted system, build upon the strict mechanics of subjugating/enslaving its own people lately in the last few decades... Instead of helping the little guy, and giving less incentives to blood sucking corporations. The main problem with US is that they have like almost the global currency... and the politicians from that country behave like children... bough on pennies on the dollar by the big pharma.. big oil... big tobacco, the hard hand grip of the telecommunication sector and the last one... the military industrial complex. The fault is that US wanted to behave like any other country and the citizens of that state behaved like the usual bribe able politicians with no integrity or moral values and responsibility for any vision of the future! And you can't have that... You can't be that... In the same time to be a leader and a joker! This is not a Batman movie. The leader must lead by example, and take responsibility. And I think a smaller country would have done a better job shaping the ideal future and the rest to follow... but that is not how the world works! ... But the rest of the answer is that the paper money is a rigged system and it/there was/is too much abuse and fraud with invisible numbers on a screen or with "fake" paper that has less value than toilet paper if the cards where on the table with full transparency! And that is the problem.

*Edit: Btw... look at the Dow Jones... for the last 5 days. Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy ... stuff is about to happen! Probably the last "Hail Marry!" pump before the big crash.

*Edit2: Basically the calculations and the numbers say that the big crash will be starting September 21-22 .. and it will go 7 days of trading. Reaching the 8th day on October 3. I suggest people should stop gambling and get in to physical things like Gold, Silver, BTCitcoin before/till then.

lol. The Stock markets especially in the USA are super bullish. There is not even a slight sign of an incoming crash.

I know a lot of people would bet all their money here on a financial collapse because they wish so. But people have been calling dooms day for decades and still nothing has happend beside the 2008 money printing and the tech bubble.

Wishing that something happens doesn't make it happen.

Today of all days... you decided to speak about the sh!tstorm that will come... Cheesy ... I like you... You'r clueless  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It looks like we will have our answer today or tomorrow if it goes down or up... But I think it will go down since silver and gold are currently going up.

*Edit: It needs to break that line before it reaches any timeline to be in a bullish trend... if not... the bears will have a dump confirmation!

*Edit2: Also ... look at that chart... crashes seem to happen every 7 years.... first 2002.. then 2009 ... now 2016!

*Edit3: My opinion is that it will go to a new ath ... then crash & burn.  Cool

Since the beginning of BTC creation bitcoiners are calling for the financial crisis  Grin

No... This is not about BTCitcoin. Bitcoin is just transitioning another 2013 pump.... then next year we will see that 13-14x pump. But this year we will probably see 2-3k max.

But what we are talking about is the super shemitah cycle. It is the 7th year of the 7th cycle. The 49 year... and 343 years since the last mini ice age ended. (*777 things... the stuff of pixie dust & Legends!)

This shemitah cycle was to take place also last September (year 2015) according to bitcoiners  Grin

The amount of spam on this forum(*edit:thread) baffles me.  Cheesy ... I mean why?... why quote a 550 sentence post? ... People should not be lazy and read from behind if they want to follow up. And yep.. the consumerist universe strikes again! ... Making piles, piles and piles of garbage... and blocks of useless repetitive text. Smiley ... hmmm... JayJuan curse/hex has plagued others?

1940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2016, 09:58:27 AM
Problem is, the currencies of 1916 were gold.  A 45 year chart looks even more impressive.  The post-Breton Woods system will not live to its 50th anniversary.

Germany had abandoned their Goldmark for the Papiermark in 1914. The latter being unbacked by gold as the name suggest. Britain also suspended convertibility in 1914.

The nixing of the gold exchange standard certainly set the new course for inflation, however.

It's not about gold. It's about fiat currency losing its value over time. And you know why.

It is about selective bias and insufficient data actually.

During those times, the concept of a police state was almost impossible. Today it is somehow a reality.

You need to be able to survey everything for those concepts to be applied.

But now... we have a better system. It is called BTCitcoin.
