1921  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 07, 2017, 04:59:26 PM
Yes, bitcoin is changing the financial world as we know it for good! Why do you need USD, Pound sterling, Euro or Chinese Yuan while you have the bitcoin that you could use to send and receive value all over the world. Bitcoin provides the solution that people need which is the currency that is acceptable worldwide. Bitcoin is fully decentralized, fast, secure and bitcoin also has lower transaction fees compared to bank transfers, no more custom regulations or international boundaries. No more transaction fees that says, transaction fees to this country is this and to this county is that.
1922  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: September 07, 2017, 04:47:24 PM

The question still remains;
How do we really know the best time to "Enter" on certain coin and when to "Exit"?
That is what really slowing us down because nobody wants to lose money on the market.
We all want to play the ball with the big whales. Smiley but the question is how?

That's why there is a thing called analyzation. That is the challenge here, knows when is the right time to ENTER and to EXIT. The strategy vary per person that's why I don't believe in trading analysis since price is volatile and part performances can't guarantee future results.

Also you don't have to play with the big whales, you must ride the trend they will started instead. The important thing people must have in trading world is guts to face all the associated risks.

So that means there is no easy way to play the same team with the big whales.
And the best way to do it is by taking risk and pray to see the pumping days of certain coin then.
Well, I think the solution to that is to buy as many cheap and high performing coins as possible in the market.
Monitor their marketing stats, and values regularly. Sell the most performing ones when gets high and buy when it's low.

1923  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 07, 2017, 02:26:01 PM
For me, asking for the right time to buy bitcoin is not a good idea!
Because people will tell you what they think which is sometimes wrong.
Buying bitcoin is profitable either way if you hold your bitcoins for long time.
When I want to buy a bitcoin I just buy it whenever I have the money because the value may sometimes double in few weeks.
So, I think asking for the right time to buy bitcoin is not a good idea as an investor. Just buy it whenever you feel like doing so.
1924  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: September 07, 2017, 12:01:44 PM
To make good profits when a coin is pumped and dumped,we should know clearly about when to enter and exit the market.

Crucial factor is that you spot early accumulation patterns. In most cases if a pump is going to happen, the people behind it are slowing buying up small number of coins - this process can take a week or two, but also a few months. Their main priority is to buy as many coins as possible, but without actually pushing the market forward too much. If you manage to spot this accumulation pattern, you can do basically the same as the pumpers are doing, but without actually pumping the market yourself - they will do the work for you. Once the pump has been initiated, it's up to you to find a worthwhile exit point. If you exit too soon, you'll miss out on even better profits, if you exit too late, you'll be seeing your profits vanish very quickly. I always prefer to go with the first option - better safe than sorry.

The question still remains;
How do we really know the best time to "Enter" on certain coin and when to "Exit"?
That is what really slowing us down because nobody wants to lose money on the market.

1925  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: September 07, 2017, 11:48:56 AM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

Your regret is the worse I ever heard my friend, sorry about that!
My biggest regret was I sold the largest portion of bitcoins in April this year at an average of $1,500
Spend the money buying some physical asset that pays little a year. I don't know where I got that wrong idea.
I wish I've hold my bitcoins up to now and also wait for few more additional years in the future.
1926  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: September 07, 2017, 11:20:28 AM
Bitcoin is more popular compared to USD nowadays, and bitcoin is still unknown to more than half of the world. Which means bitcoin value will continue to get more valuable in the future as more people are yet to know and learn about bitcoin and invest into bitcoin as well. Today, one single bitcoin is worth about $4560 imagine the value of bitcoin in the next 10 years when over 4 billion people more know about the bitcoin features and advantages?
1927  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 07, 2017, 11:10:44 AM
The sharing economy is just going to continue to grow, and governments will be challenged to understand and manage its implications while embracing its benefits. However, governments will be at a significant disadvantage if they wait too long and newer technologies and markets will have already been developed that do not follow traditional models. Think of the following: Uber is the world’s largest taxi service and owns no cars. Airbnb provides lodging yet does not own real estate.

How will local governments adapt to these new ways of doing business that are disrupting traditional business models? All we know now is that governments are a long way from even contemplating and accepting this new reality.

Well, the governments must coup with the latest technologies or left behind for good. Modern businesses leverages the power of modern technologies to run their businesses digitally unlike the traditional ways. Government like the idea of controlling things e.g. businesses, finance and media, but with latest technologies such as bitcoin, ethereum and blockchain, they are no longer in control. People build their nodes and are in control of their lives, assets and financial freedom as well. Smiley
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / What are the best ICOs to invest into? on: September 07, 2017, 10:57:58 AM
I see we are left behind in this forum without knowing the best ICOs to invest into and make some profits.

Share with us which ICOs do you think or believe to be profitable backed by a trusted companies or developers.

We all know ICOs are great way to invest your money and make decent profit, but was also used by SCAMMERS to scam people.

We Deserve the right to ask ourselves which are the good ICOs to invest into to avoid getting SCAMMED by some dodgy people.

So, which ICO do you think we should join? And what trusted company backed that very ICO that you think is great?
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: September 07, 2017, 10:53:15 AM
Did you guys noticed what was happening recently in the crytocurrency world?
People pump certain coin and then dump it later when the price hit the highest level.
And then buy later when the price dip to the lowest level.

What do you think of this? Share your thoughts Grin

It increases the uncertainty of the market, many people will be in crisis because of trade losses. However, it is also a good opportunity for good traders to make a profit.
Do you remember if others will get a lot of profit too caused by PnD. That was just like another money game in my opinion at least if you have an intention to invest in the project and wait until you will get decent profit and the definition will be different.
Lol… quite funny when I see people call it a pump and dump game.
I’ve never had interest in ICO right from the first time I heard about it, cause I keep having the feelings they’re  all fake, and will make people lose their money.
I’ve  used bitcoin  for a longtime,  so I keep on sticking to it,  and not getting interested in investing into other coins.
Boy, I don't know about all the ICOs but I am sure about one thing, not all of them are fabricated. One of my buddy is hooked up in some ICO and I haven't heard a word of despise from his mouth. However, holding to your bitcoins is a smart move but I deal in altcoins also.
You need to work hard I mean research hard before hooking up with any ICO. People are earning great profits with ICOs but I think it is somehow dependent on luck as well. I got scammed recently by some ICO. We need to be really careful with these projects. The best way of passive income is obviously holding bitcoins for long time.
There is a lot of ICO in this forum and there is a lot of choice but we need to make sure that the ICO that we are going to invest is a real and serious project because there is a lot of scammers that only make ICO to have a decent look kind of scam because they will just launch a project and ran away with the invested amount of money.

The problem we have is we don't know which are the best ICOs to invest into. Once you are involved with ICO when you started sensing some dump in the market by the "Big Whales" then you also dump your coins which is not good idea at all. Perhaps sometimes it's the best option to do in pump and dump situation. Grin
1930  Economy / Speculation / Re: WILL BITCOIN PRICE NEVER GO DOWN? on: September 06, 2017, 10:39:18 PM
Bitcoin price sometimes go up and down it is called market correction. Bitcoin value fluctuate based on demand.
Bitcoin value is determined based on people demand, the higher the demand the more expensive, and lower the demand the lower price.
1931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: September 06, 2017, 10:25:16 PM
Bitcoin will go up again as it's currently recovering slowly from the massive dump that was happened few days ago.Keep calm and buy more bitcoins! Smiley
1932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin by 2018? on: September 06, 2017, 10:14:35 PM
Do you think that BTC can price $10,000 in 2018?

No one knows exactly how much bitcoin value will be by the end of the year 2018.
But we are hoping to see the value of bitcoin increase to anywhere between $15k to $20k by the end of 2018.
1933  Economy / Speculation / Re: predictions of the price of a Bitcoin by the end of 2017 on: September 06, 2017, 10:11:30 PM
This should be in the Speculation board.

My prediction wouldn't be a wild one but I expect an $8000 mark by the end of this year or back to $2000 ranges if Antpool continues to act childish which may turn some potential investors off. Weird thing is even if there are bad things that happened for the first quarter of this year, the price continued to surge.

I have high hopes that it would be the same trend for the rest of the year.

I expect the same by the end of this year. There are so many speculations saying bitcoin price will reach this amount or that amount by the end of the year. Speculations are nothing but people's hope to see what they want happened. My thoughts on this, is that the value of bitcoin would be around $7-8k by the end of this year.

1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 06, 2017, 12:04:55 AM
What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.

Don't really think this is possible since there is just no point in banning Bitcoin. The countries that ban bitcoin would just be crippling themselves and their economy. Most countries would just tax Bitcoin instead of taxing it.
I also do believe that the concept of banning bitcoin is quite impossible to happen because government dont have specific reason they could set for them to banned bitcoin in the first place. I would rather see bitcoin as a future of transactions because it offers faster and reliable transaction. It can also be a good thing for people in the process of earning and making profit in the future.

I really agree with you, because in my opinion there is no reason the government forbids bitcoin, we also will not accept if the ban is no clear basis. We should not think of things like that, we better think of a bright future with bitcoin.

What can you do against Government? You cannot do anything against Government? But we can at least stand against government if anything like happen(or we let it happen)?
I agree with you that It is really hard to ban Bitcoins ( I have heard many rumors lately)

If your country banned using bitcoin that is within your country.
You can still buy and sell things online using bitcoin, what difference does that make?
Don't let your country or anyone else stop you from following your dream. You should defy your boundaries.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 11:47:09 PM
We will just add them to https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/ like we usually do. The DEATH of Bitcoin was predicted since it was started and guess what, we are still here. The Chinese government alone will not kill Bitcoin. They saw massive amounts of their local currency being invested in unregulated ICO's and they think that this is a form of capital flight, so they banned it.

It has nothing to do with the protection of their citizens, but merely a political move to protect their own currency.  ^grrrrr^

Yes, China is panic the way chinese people are investing their money into bitcoin and altcoins.
China is afraid of losing control over people's money in the future because if everyone invested in bitcoin they no longer have control over people.

1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 05, 2017, 11:38:21 PM
most of us regret not buying sooner. no more regret if you buy now. it's not to late.

Yes, it is never too late to buy bitcoin as the current value will also appreciate more in the future.
Regretting of lacking to buy bitcoin in the early days of bitcoin by people is normal because most of people didn't believe in it that time.
Yet the value of bitcoin hit the roof and everybody is regretting why they did not buy early. So, buy now and plan to make more profits in years to come. Smiley
1937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does China have a large part in the world of cryptocurrency? on: September 05, 2017, 11:23:15 PM
Yes, the chinese people owns the higher percentage of cryptocurrency.
The number of people invested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency is very large in China.
So, what happened recently in the market was direct result of China's new law of banning ICOs.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS It Decentralized??? on: September 05, 2017, 09:07:42 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized but bitcoin is self-stabilizing economy! Bitcoin demand determines the price.
China's action affect the market because they have the highest number of people who invested in cryptocurrency.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / is bitcoin bulletproof? on: September 05, 2017, 08:59:04 PM
Bitcoin survives so many challenges yet the value still growing eventually.

Started thinking bitcoin is bulletproof after witnessing so many challenges that may easily kill it yet still thrives.

No doubt, bitcoin is the invention of the century. I think bitcoin will shine more in the future because no country that can stop now.

What is your thought on this? Share with us what you think, please?
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will China's decision affect the market in your opinion? on: September 05, 2017, 08:37:09 PM
I think China is trying to act reasonably. Let's be honest, 99% of ICOs are just outright scams. Of the remaining 1%, 99% of those are bad ideas. Assuming the news is real, China is acting to stop people from losing their money by investing in something they don't understand. After all, if you understood crypto you would not even touch alts.

Here is a typical way an ICO tricks users into thinking they are "investing".

Step 1. Create "Stupid-Coin", bitcoin's soon to be replacement.

Step 2. Pre-mine 1 million coins.

Step 3. Sell 1 coin to your buddy for $3.

Step 4. Advertise your new ICO! And mention that it has a current market cap of 3 million dollars!
(market cap = cost per coin x number of coins)

ICOs are all B.S.

Yes, China is doing the right thing at the moment because today's ICOs are full shit!
I can't believe why some people use such opportunity of creating ICO to scam others.
Believe by banning ICOs in China that will help straighten the value of bitcoin in the long run.
